Hiya everyone! Tonight we take a look at several more prizes from the Beached Bunny Hunt, a longtime tradition that is in its 11th year. There are teal beach pails hidden at each participating store for just $1L apiece, easy to find by following the hints and landmarks on the hunt's website. There are preview photos for most of them, so you can get a good idea of what you will be able to claim from each pail. I was familiar with most of the designers who are taking part, but a few were new to me which does make me happy as well. The mixture of old and new makes it special :)
My first look this evening comes from the Cats n' Kittens Boutique, called CnK: Double the Trouble Set. This duo of swimsuits comes in blue and pink versions, each in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. The color accents are the straps which cross in the back and wrap around the waist to form a delicate belt. The swimsuits have moderate coverage in the rear, yet the plunging neckline reveals flirty cleavage in front.
There is something so fun about a strapless romper, so I was delighted to find the pail containing the AC: Coral Reefer Romper at Applique` Chic. It comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh body sizes. There is also a HUD provided with 6 colors to choose from, since variety is always appreciated.
I can't decide what I like best about the prize from Bunny Cat, the colors or the romantic style! It is called .BC. Marina Dress-Pink and is an ombre maxi dress that has an intricate paneled skirt and clever gathering at the waist. It is provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Dragon, Fox, Tiger, and Werewolf mesh bodies. I think it would be fun wear this over a BOM bikini at the beach as a gorgeous coverup!
The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. has a clever gift for us called DON'T TOUCH ME Tee, and it really made me chuckle. It reads "FREE HUGS just kidding DON'T TOUCH ME", which is how I find myself feeling sometimes especially with people I don't know. At least virtual hugs are germ-free and safe for friends :) The prize includes standard mesh sizes along with versions for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. I paired it with the white pair of jeans from my favorite marketplace freebie from Delizio, an entire fatpack of colors in system/BOM layers plus appliers for Maitreya and Omega.
My final look of the evening is the Blue Jeans Bikini from "Freda". Its bustier top and thong bottom are each included in Freya, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Rebirth Eden, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizing. Denim is one of those materials that is not always comfortable in RL unless it's been worn and washed a bunch, yet in SL we can wear it even in styles that might not suit RL like a thong. The unique bra cups and ruffling are great details here.
