The Wash and Kiyomizu

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we start at The Wash Cart Sale for its Let Your Soul Bloom themed round, sadly their last ever round of this long running event. Make sure you don't miss out, as there are so many impressive offers for $50L or less including some exclusives that you will not find elsewhere. Clothing for men and women, accessories, and home decor are among the possibilities you can find, and there are demos for much of the fashion so you can ensure a suitable fit for your shape. Another seasonal happening that always makes me smile is the Kiyomizu Hunt, which is open for its Spring 2021 round of finding ninja cats hiding in stores either in the Kiyomizu Mall or at the renters' mainstores. The best way to find out for sure is to click a floating ghost above one of the mall walkways, so he can produce a personalized website link for you to check out with all the landmarks for remaining kitties. The scripting for this one is rather ingenious, since the signs keep track of the cats in its immediate area and display the quantity and the store's number in the hunt path. The prizes are free, but there are no hints so it can be a bit challenging...I got oddly lucky that when I first visited the other day, most of the furnishings were not rezzing but the cats were so I was able to see them clearly. Usually when objects decide not to rez it creates problems for me, so it was a pleasant surprise.

Next we head over to the Baci cart, well actually their new store is called the Oh! Shop and is located on The Wash sim just like the prior one. The outfit I am wearing on the left is their baci-top frills peach- that includes the top and skirt in Maitreya sizes (Petite also for the top) with an 80 color HUD for the skirt. It is such a feminine look, and versatile thanks to the tinting HUD. Did I mention that it is a mere $20L? Or you could choose one of several versions of the baci-last dress, like the green one on the right above, for $10L apiece. These are also crafted for the Maitreya body, and have a simple loose fitting t-shirt style that brings out the colors and images used. 

My first reaction to trying on this free Kiyomizu hunt prize from Shiorin's Mart was WOW! This daring delight is their =CS= One-Piece Swimwear018 KIYOMIZU, and comes in sizes for Legacy and Maitreya bodies. Just find the ninja cat in their store and give him a click, to claim this sexy swimsuit for free. 

Another charming hunt prize can be found at Dream Flower Radio, their *DFS*M spring Gift Dress. It consists of the dress and cape for the Maitreya mesh body, and since they are separate pieces you can wear the dress with or without the sheer lace covering the shoulders. The colors and floral pattern are excellent choices for spring, and the shawl has a vintage flavor that I adore.

My final treat of the evening is the M*Motion C21 KYMZ Spring Gift. Its off-shoulder blouse and jersey maxi skirt each fit the Maitreya body, which does seem to be a popular occurrence among these hunt prizes :) Don't both pieces look so soft and touchable? I think about how comfy some outfits are in RL and uncomfortable others can be, and feel like my avi would really enjoy wearing this one. 

Whew, I am a bit slow tonight...my first vaccine appointment was fine, it took place in a government building so I had to go through a metal detector and wait in line 4 different times before actually getting the jab. Time consuming, but worth it if we can keep people from getting so sick. My arm is sore which I expected, but otherwise I am mostly okay. Feeling a bit warm, with a mildly sore throat and headache that could be from seasonal allergies and not concerning. Treats for FabFree

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are exploring some FabFree group gifts, which is the inworld presence of the Fabulously Free in SL blog. It was not a completely random choice on my part, but because I had recently seen that a group gift was added to the list that is Halloween themed so the timing seemed right. I have been grateful to FabFree since my earliest days in SL (2007) since they have always provided helpful information about freebies, sales, special events and much more. Their group will always have a place among my precious group slots :) There are so many participating designers who offer gifts especially for the FabFree group members, just wear your "I am Fabulous" group tag to each store and look for the rainbow striped FabFree sign.

My first stop was Brii Underground, where among the many gifts for various groups, I found this lovely Mayda Blue Version Loisirs Style Complet. Thanks to some quick googling, I now know that loisirs is French for leisure, which makes sense for a casually charming outfit. The dress is provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, with matching heels in Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink High fits. Included but not shown is an Omega applier of makeup designed for Catwa heads, so if your mesh head is compatible with Omega it is worth a try.

As promised, next we have a gift that is ideal for this time of year from *MIRUS* called Bat Blouse. This cropped knit top has purple and black stripes accented by bats, and is included in standard mesh sizes along with Freya, Venus, Legacy, Legacy Perky, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique body sizing. I am wearing it with the blue jeans from the fatpack of colors that Delizio offers on the marketplace for free, in system/BOM layers plus appliers for Maitreya and Omega. 

I also visited Baci, where I found this sexy gift called Punkorset Pink. It has a bold look in an ombre of purple to pink, with metallic sheen and fun zipper all the way down the front. The gift includes several sizes for classic avatars (standard S, M, L, fitmesh S, M, L) as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body versions. 

Artizana is currently offering this beautiful Samya (Spectra) Dress for all FabFree group members to enjoy. It has a great Bohemian feel to it, with the bell sleeves and flattering shape, trimmed in gorgeous paisley. Teal and black look fantastic together, don't they? Free Is Fabulous

Hiya everyone! Tonight's post features some of the many group gifts available for the FabFree in SL group, which is the inworld presence of the Fabulously Free in SL blog that I have been faithfully following for all of my time in SL. There is an abundance of participating designers who keep us up to date on sales, events, and special offers as well as those generous gifts for anyone wearing the free group tag. It seems like there are new gifts added all the time to that ever-expanding list, so FabFree is certainly worthy of one of our precious group slots, as it has been among mine. 

Mermaid hair, don't care! This playful Mermaid Outfit is the FabFree gift from Grumble, and the top says precisely how I began this description, with a tail at the end of the D of mermaid and a starfish after the word hair. The top and shorts each come in sizes for Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique, with an extra Isis version for the shorts. Speaking of those shorts, please take a good look so you can see the glamorous unicorn mermaids on the pattern, with long flowing rainbow hair.

I do like to wrap myself in denim from time to time, so this Baci gift called Spring Jeans is greatly appreciated. I enjoy the apron style of this dress, and since it is very revealing on the sides I would even suggest that for a bit more modesty you could layer a t-shirt beneath if you prefer. 

This flirty gift comes from Tiar, and can be found in their FREE room with many other groups' gifts and all sorts of affordable treats. The elegance of the solid black would look amazing with your favorite jewelry, whether that is a single metallic color or some bold colored gems, whatever makes you happy.

My final look this evening is the Northern Sky Creations gift called NSC Navy Top, a tube top with ruffle in nautical colors and pattern. This is the perfect season to wear it, whether you are going sailing in SL or just hanging out with friends somewhere warm. I cannot decide if I want to visit a beach later in SL, or cool down at a ski resort with lots of snow and fluffy clouds. It was another hot day here, but I have some tasty meals from the farmers market and I am looking forward to a playoff hockey game tomorrow afternoon. It consists of the very pretty tied strapless top and pleated skirt you see here, each sized for Belleza, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies, plus a bonus bra and thong to wear beneath. Those are in a BOM/system layer, so you can wear with BOM compatible mesh bodies or classic avatars if you wish. In that same area, beneath the Stay at Home Club sign, you will also find a separate skirt and 2 men's gifts which are all free with no group required.

~Kara's Baby~ is also offering gifts to cheer us through our time staying at home in RL, such as this Where I Come From dress. I would like to note that this gift and the next one both contained multiple copies of each size but they appeared to be the same exact dress, so possibly SL being odd.

Is it the weekend yet? Okay not quite, but it will be very soon and that is good enough for me :) I have my plans all set for Friday and Saturday, and I am definitely looking forward to them. As you may have noticed, I randomly decided to return to my usual auburn hair color for now, since I really did miss it. Perhaps I will change it again soon, just for variety's sake. Hiya everyone! Tonight we continue along the Womenstuff Hunt path, one of 5 in the All 'stuff Hunt this month. These prizes ($0L or $1L each) are hiding in red t-shirts with white high heels on the front and the 'all Stuff logo on the back, and may be resized so be sure to look closely while following those hints. Where do you find those hints, you wonder? Well the website has not only those vital clues to find the prizes, but landmarks, prices, and it will even tell you which ones are exclusive to this hunt. There are just a few stores whose prizes are not set out yet or the store itself has closed, so the site will guide you to skip those and provide the next location if you get lost. Stormy Weather

Hiya everyone! Tonight's post brings more Stay at Home Club gifts from the Apparel section of their website, although I urge you to peek at all of the categories since there are many types of generous designers who want to cheer us up. There are still new additions all the time, either from brand new stores or the already participating ones changing their gifts to something fresh and exciting :) Times are stressful for many reasons in RL, but fortunately we have SL where we can be together safely and keep in contact with friends from all over the globe. I think that's why I wince when someone refers to SL as a game, since it really is so much more than that. It is a virtual environment, a community, and a place to be whomever and whatever we wish, together.

My first look of the evening is the Moon Cute Dress from [eVe]. It is fitted for the Maitreya mesh body, and includes a HUD with 6 colors to choose from. All the color options have black trim and belt which is flattering on all. The style is so soft and flowy, delightful for early summer or whenever you wish to wear this treat. Just pay the vendor $1L which will be automatically refunded as the gift is delivered to you.

The Stay at Home Club gift from *baci* is their Zigzag Pencil Dress, a formfitting sheath style with wrapped front and chevron stripes in teal on a white background. There is a tinting HUD with 80 possibilities however, like the yellow I chose for the right that turned those zigzags green :) The dress itself is provided in a standard M size as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing for mesh bodies. 

I was immediately drawn to the elegance of the Northern Sky Creations gift, the NSC Vicky Dress. It comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. The sleeves are so intriguing, with that second sash draped beneath the left strap and held in place with diamond shaped brooches, and the hemline has added pizzazz thanks to a double row of embroidered roses.

I also visited LetiziaQueen Couture today for the first time but certainly not the last :) They have two great gifts awaiting for the Stay at Home Club, starting with this flirty *LQC* Ottawa gift. The dress comes in Altamura, BBL, eBody Curvy, Freya, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and V-Tech mesh body sizing, with a HUD that allows you to choose between transparent and solid for the center panel in the front. I have it transparent on the left above so you can get the idea of the sheerness. The matching strappy sandals are included too, in Belleza, Legacy, Maitreya, and Slink High sizes.

The fun matching shoes come in the same sizing, and the tied long necklace is provided too for that special touch. I will be doing some gridwide hunting later in this very outfit :) 

It is another stormy evening here, and tomorrow looks to be much of the same...if the weather is too bad, I will skip the weekly dinner with my parents, since I will see them Saturday anyway at the farmers' market which will be reopened under careful conditions. I will be prepared with mask and hand sanitizer, probably a bit nervous but glad to see the wonderful people again. Cart Sale and Generous Gifts

Hiya everyone! Tonight we shop till we drop at the new round of The Wash Cart Sale, which is open until April 15th. There are exclusive offers for up to $50L each, and items from $10L - $50L for you to enjoy. Dozens of designers are participating, fashion and home decor are among the many selections you will find, so have fun exploring and browsing :) I also wanted to show you more of the Stay at Home Club gifts being offered to all visitors of the participating stores, no group tag needed. These thoughtful designers are helping us get through these stressful times by giving us free treats to brighten our Second Life. My first look comes to you from the Shae's Designs cart at The Wash, with a few of their $25L selections. I am wearing the Cilla V2 - Off Shoulder Crop Top Pinkish on the left, Purple version on the right, and there are four other colors available on the cart too. Each comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. The jeans are available for $25L a pair too, in 6 different shades, of which I am wearing Jennifer Jeans 5 on the left and Jennifer Jeans 4 on the right. These classically styled denim jeans are provided in eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizes. We next visit the *baci* cart at The Wash, with a wide range of ladies' fashion at very reasonable prices. The dress on the left is the baci-hydrangea pencil dress and for just $39L you will receive it in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. I combined two more cart selections on the right, baci-cupcake sweater and the baci-MyLacy shorts which are each just $10L. These items also include sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. They are both quite versatile, you can wear them with whatever you wish :) The baci mainstore is conveniently located on The Wash not too far from their cart, which is linked directly in my ending credits as usual.

Next we teleport on over to Entice, who is offering not just one but two gifts for the Stay at Home Club. On the left I am feeling flirty in their Desert Rose - Aqua lingerie set, whose bra and panties are each provided in Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh body sizes. The panties are actually a thong style in the rear :) I kept those on to change into their other gift on the right, the Entice - Never Surrender Top - Grape. It comes in the same mesh body sizes (Freya, Hourglass, Maitreya) and has an elegant feeling while being playful in that bold color and with the plunging neckline. I can see wearing it with a sleek skirt or dressy pants, depending on your mood or the occasion.

Those panties from Entice came in handy to wear with this next gift, which is from Eliya.K called Rimel Black. It is fitted for the Maitreya body, and is a long ruffled cardigan with built in bustier (bra top). There is even a HUD provided, with 11 colors for that bustier and even a hide/show button so you can be a bit more daring :) The black cardigan is a great neutral and will look terrific with any color or combination of hues.

For my final look of the evening, I visited Love Lace, who are offering two Stay at Home Club gifts. This is their ::LL:: Mermaid Shine Dress FATPACK, with 6 colors (blue, gold, mint, pink, purple, rainbow) of which I am wearing Pink on the left and Rainbow on the right. Each one comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, with a HUD offering 2 texture choices, with or without the scalloped scale design. I certainly do feel magical in them :) The other gift is a makeup fatpack of I believe they were highlighters, in Omega appliers, not shown here but you can explore those if you have an Omega compatible mesh head. 

My mood this evening is a bit somber, as the first death in my county from this dreaded virus was reported, and it was someone in the town next to mine. I am doing my best to stay safe (staying home, encouraging others to do so, making small donations, sharing social media posts with info about local businesses who are still open and need help, etc.) and can only hope that it is enough. We still all need food and other essentials, and I worry that something coming into my home could possibly be contaminated without my realizing it. I know I'm not alone in my fears, and I hope my being honest about them helps someone reading this in some small way since we are all in this together. I genuinely care about each and every one of you, anyone who takes the time to read this post, and hope you and your loved ones get through this safely. Many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!
