Malus Park Fall Festival

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting the Fall Festival at Malus Park, which is a fantastic shopping event with exclusive offers and a gift for $25L or lower at each booth. The theme is autumn and the region looks magnificent, but of course with Ariana of Ari-Pari doing the landscaping I expected nothing less :) You can have a peek at the shopping guide too, if you'd like to get an idea of what tempting treats await. Naturally my post features some of those bargains and exclusives, making my heart feel happy and pumpkin spiced ;)

My first look of the evening is the charming [Ari-Pari] Ainsley Boho Outfit, their $10L gift that feels like an homage to Stevie Nicks :) The blouse and skirt each have unique hemlines that complement each other so well! Sunflower Hunting

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are going hunting, primarily the Malus Park Sunflower Hunt. That sends us searching for pretty yellow sunflowers which are each $5L or less, so there are bargains galore at each stop on the hunt path :) For a bit of variety I am also sharing a CMH Kawaii Summer hunt prize from one of the sunflower hunt stops (Ari-Pari ♥) who were not ready yet when I first blogged selections from that hunt but are good to go now. We all know that RL can become very complex and interfere with time in SL, so I am very understanding and just glad to see that the designer was able to participate after all. It's very exciting to share these budget-friendly beauties with all of you :)

@rOrO is offering their beautiful Khloe Blouse Sunflowers as a $2L prize, and I simply adore it :) The pattern of course matches the theme perfectly, and the style is intriguing with the full long sleeves and deep plunging back. Shop and Hop Giving Credit

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I hope to provide a public service via SL23B Shop & Hop, as there are dozens of stores offering store credit or gift cards as their free gift. Now I don't know about you, but I have forgotten to redeem more of those than I can count, LOL, and do not want to see that happen to any of you :) Some of the credits don't expire, but there are some that will expire around the time of SL23B closing on the 19th or shortly thereafter. Some can be used only at the mainstores, but I was fortunate enough to find a few spots that we can purchase discounted offers here at S&H with these credits. Those are what I'm sharing tonight, but I urge you to use the FabFree spreadsheet with the tab for "Type Sorted" at the bottom and scroll to the purple store credit. Also helpful to note that the adult regions are separate below, so two sections of each color/type to look through. I'm so grateful to FabFree for their spreadsheets, and send virtual hugs to their hardworking team as I show you some possibilities of what you might choose to spend those credits on. All of tonight's looks are from moderate regions at S&H, although I will probably blog some adult region items (not adult items, but found in those regions) before the event ends but will let you know if that is the case.

The cococat. Morning dress - Mint is one of several colors of this sweet and feminine dress that you can pick up for $130L per color. The gift here is $500L store credit, so making selections from their discounted merch here at S&H is a fantastic way to stretch those linden dollars even further :) This beauty comes in sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies, and includes a HUD with 20 colors each for the top ruffle, bottom ruffle, top bow, and skirt bows. It is such a delicate shade of pale green that all of these hues will look lovely :) 

I still had plenty of store credit left, so I continued shopping here and chose the gorgeous cococat. Fluffy dress - Lilac for $155L. I feel like Cinderella, just so luxurious and glamorous! The gown with gathered top and layered full skirt is provided in Legacy, Perky, and Reborn mesh body sizes. Its HUD lets us choose from 20 colors apiece for the top, belly, base skirt, and flared part (the lowest tier that touches the ground). The ombre on the upper skirt layers is phenomenal, and I feel like a paler color would make an amazing wedding gown if you were so inclined.

I also spent some credits at the GGVG display at S&H, which are on a $500L gift card that you can claim here. This stunning gown is the LOVE YOU GOWN SHINNY HEARTS COLORFUL which is one of several versions you might select for $224L each. While the style of the gown itself is already a head-turner with the bare back draped with slender chains, the real magic happens when light hits the fabric :) Those multicolored sequins you see are going to reflect any ambient lighting, plus we receive a special enhancer light to wear that has a control HUD with colors and other options. I changed it to yellow on the right which is why the wall behind me looks warmer. Our gown is designed for Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies.

Next I wasn't quite finished spending those gift card credits, lol, so I also selected the beautiful GGVG CRYSTAL DRESS CUBE SPARKLE GOLDY from their sales items. The wrapped style creates a cleavage baring neckline and tulip skirt, making this a go-to look for wherever you want to feel alluring. The dress comes in sizing for Kupra, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Pinup, Reborn, and Waifu bodies, with a special enhancer lights attachment and control HUD just like the previous dress above. These golden sequins do catch that light wonderfully, elevating the look no matter which color you choose. This was also $224L of the credit gift, so I was easily able to pick out two fantastic treats and have a little leftover.

Heat waves are certainly challenging to cope with, and the AC unit could not get it lower then 80 degrees in here during the day. In the few hours since I've been in this room, it has dropped to 75.5 currently so I am doing okay :) We still have an extreme heat warning for tomorrow and Saturday, with a high of 101 for Friday and heat index values up to 115, so it is important to stay indoors as much as possible. I'm going to my parents' for dinner since they'd already planned things, but not until 7 PM so it might cool slightly by then. If the time comes and I feel it would be unwise, I will politely back out if necessary (they won't mind) because health comes first. We can always try again Saturday I guess. Otherwise I am eager to get back into SL and explore some July hunts and events, and just generally relax with Xan. Bleeding Solstice Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'd like to invite you to Bleeding Solstice by Difony Events. It is a Gothic shopping experience that brings the darker side of each season or holiday they cover, and I am always curious to see what their 100+ designers have to offer. In addition to the many sales items, nearly all of the displays have a glowing globe next to them with a free gift inside (either buy for $0L, click to deliver, or pay $1L and you'll be refunded) for us to enjoy with no group tag required. That's a mighty fine way to start the weekend and to celebrate Sunday morning's summer solstice :)

I'm coming in hot with two gifts combines for the start of the post :) The EKC - Bloody Rose Solstice Jackets is actually a pair of jackets (the one on the right is named grey) which are each provided in Legacy and Reborn mesh body sizes. They are slightly opened in the front but nothing scandalous, lol, and fall just above the natural waist. It seemed like a natural pairing to add the aprelle wish jeans SOLSTICE GIFT, as it is fun to contrast with bright white adorned with a few black stars. These flare jeans will fit Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies. Speaking of sassy, I had another pair of jeans I wanted to share but not another top. Next I've shimmied into the alluring V-Twins - Kaothic Outfit gift, which I highly recommend for a wild weekend. My final look of the night is one of many wonderful nails available among our gifts :) The Nyxa gift called NY - GEM NAILS especially caught my attention with the fact that we receive not only the base nails but add-ons of gems to layer on top in several colors. The gems come in black, pink, red, and white versions, and those plus the square base nails are all included in Gen X, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh body sizes. There's also a HUD with 11 colors for the square nails so we can really mix and match things! Just hide the nails built into your hands (body HUDs usually have settings for this) and add the corresponding square nails, then choose your gems if you wish. I love the gold accents too, terrific on any color of gems.

Are we all ready for the weekend? I'm sure I will be extra toasty tomorrow at the farmers market, but sunscreen will be generously applied so I don't become a lobster ;) I'll be getting some tasty pierogis, and probably a few other things to nibble on throughout the week. Still Bringing On Spring

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it's back to the FabFree hunt called Bring On Spring, with prizes hidden in neon rainbows for $0L - $5L each. That's an impressive bargain for sure, as these treats are top quality and there is a beautiful variety. Be sure to check their website as well as the Flickr group (link towards the bottom of their page, after the photos) to see what you can earn by seeking out these pretty rainbows. We have about 2 weeks to go since the hunt lasts until the 30th of April, plenty of time to enjoy :)

The first look this evening is our *MARTINES*BOS1 prize, which is one of 5 you'll find here for $5L apiece. This lovely halter mini dress has daisies on both fabric designs, the main and the darker trim, for a style that is somehow both feminine yet edgy. It fits Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. 

When you see on the website all the treats that {Poeme} has to offer, you might feel a little overwhelmed but I promise it's okay, you will find them right where the hint says :) They're even beside photos of each prize, so you'll be able to tell precisely what each rainbow is offering. Then we have a wonderful pair of Killeen mules in white, and these fit Erika, Gen X, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mid height feet. I deeply appreciate having footwear included because sometimes it is tricky to find just the right match, and I'd much rather spend my time shopping and hunting than trying on dozens of shoes that almost but don't quite match ;) Priorities!

I was very excited to see [Ari-Pari] in the lineup for this hunt, as the designer has been going through some RL issues that have kept her mostly offline lately and I've missed her! So of course I'm tickled to share the Shasta Outfit, which can be yours for just $1L and will see you through lots of warm weather ahead. The top and shorts each come in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes, along with a HUD offering 6 colors for each. The top textures are solid and the shorts all blooming with (I would guess) Shasta daisies, so we can mix things up or match the colors to suit our mood. I like that the clothing has a slightly loose fit so it's not hugging too tightly, yet very flattering and cut to show off the midriff and hints of upper thigh. 

After all those stops I guess my avi got hungry, so we stopped by Pixel Box to find their 4 charming freebies that are full of popcorn :) Their FabFree Bring on Spring cups come in four different colors - mint, butter, peony, and lavender - which each come in a version with or without a holding animation. It will actually show you digging into the cup (bucket?), bringing your hand to your mouth, and chewing happily, so that must be some tasty popcorn inside. The one I get from the farmers market is popped in coconut oil and sprinkled with sea salt, delicious and I highly recommend that for your RL snack cravings. I don't even miss the butter! You can probably tell that I'm holding the mint cup and showed a closer view of the peony version, so you can see the FabFree Spring wording and design :)

I'm fairly sleep deprived today, and Hello Kitty Island Adventure is partly to blame. They released a DLC (downloadable content) with the City Town addition, a huge boon for those of us not playing on Apple Arcade (where the game started) who've been waiting for over a year to enjoy this part. It was my usual gaming evening with friends after a few morning hours exploring, so I've logged more time in that game today than I should admit ;) After stressful situations the past few days, I am allowing myself the grace to just enjoy something with no pressure. Tomorrow is dinner with the parents, and then Saturday is the farmers market followed by my hiding in this room or my bedroom for a couple of days. So things will look very different this weekend, but I'll be loud AF watching playoff hockey on Saturday night :D  The houseguest will probably be loud(er) with the housemate from watching WrestleMania together, so it balances out I suppose. Tonight we take a stroll down Lovers Lane, more specifically the Malus Park gridwide hunt by that name :) There are prizes for $5L or less in either red or pink hearts, thin but still 3D and easy to keep an eye out for if you follow the hints. They can be found at the hunt signs in most of the stores, or on the hunt website along with the landmarks and preview images. It is very handy to have it open while you're exploring the hunt. I'm always excited to see what each designer is offering, and you'll notice that some have multiple prizes so be sure to look around well.

I'm starting the post with our $5L prize from [Ari-Pari] which is appropriately called Love Dress. This charming sundress is provided in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes, along with a HUD offering 10 colors of the heart pattern you see above. That's such a bargain for all those lovely color choices, and I am drawn to the ruffled hem and the pretty bows atop each strap.

Find the dollarbie heart at @rOrO and you'll receive the adorable Ashley & Everly Hearts Pattern 3 outfit. The bare shouldered top is named Ashley, so naturally Everly is the shapely below-the-knee skirt with hem that comes to a point both front and back. Each piece comes in sizes for Erika, Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Star mesh bodies. The black provides a fun contrast for the cream and red, creating a very appealing color palette.

Next we see one of the 6 Gidget's Style prizes, all for $5L apiece. This is their GS Abby Dress PINK, a trio of dresses in sizing for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Juicy mesh bodies. I'm wearing just the dress on the right, and the left is our dress with top; the version not shown is the dress with a light colored top beneath instead :) These are so versatile for any season, since you can decide if you are feeling like covering up your arms or not. In my RL weather, I'd absolutely be wearing a variety with the top ;) The dress itself has such a playful texture, and it looks great in the other colors too from the other hidden hearts.

Since I find the color pink to be very romantic and feminine, the TRS Designs Isarena Top prize is a fantastic choice for Valentine's Day. It's also hard to resist a $1L deal this pretty :) This heart contains Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes. The color caught my eye first, but the bare arms, turtleneck style, and cropped hem are all delightful details too of coruse.

My final look of the evening is one of many $5L prizes at Martines, actually it's the 10th of 10 hidden hearts. The 26LOVERSLANE10 treat is a daring one-piece outfit (can't decide if that's a skirt or open pant leg) in spicy hot pink with black lipstick prints all about, held by thin straps on the mostly open right side. It includes sizes for Gen X, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Maitreya, Lara X, Peach, Prima Busty, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. I'd like to note that the hunt website has 7 of the 10 hints, but if you click the red and pink hearts hovering over the hunt sign at the store, you'll receive 5 hints from each for a total of ten. Check out that hunt key, there are some fantastic home decor items hidden in the hearts as well.

It was a decent day here, but I am planning a very busy day tomorrow so I most likely won't have time to blog. Going out way earlier than usual and making several stops means that my usual blog prep time will be taken up, just keeping my fingers crossed that I tolerate the outing well :) That way it'll be worth the inconvenience. Love Is In The Air

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we have the pleasure of exploring the CMH Love Is In The Air 6 Hunt, a fantastic Cheeky Monkey Hunts production. We're looking for flat red hearts with a white shine on the left side (that'll make sense when you see it, LOL) which either hold $1L prizes or $25L - $50L exclusive offers. Just have a peek at the hunt's website for the landmarks, hints, prices, and pictures of what each heart will hold. Many designers have more than one prize hiding, so having those hints handy will be very helpful in making sure you track down the correct hearts :) Just don't ask me to choose a favorite here, because these designers all hold a special place in my heart.

My first look of the evening is our $25L exclusive from Adore Amore, which is their flirty Brianna Rompers. There are pink and white versions each of the strapless romper and the belt, all of which are provided in Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh body sizes. I'm wearing them mixed so the white belt on the pink romper and vice versa, but it looks great either way or even without any belt if that's your preference.

The holiday vibes are certainly plentiful at GoodVibes, thanks to 3 different $1L hunt prizes. I'm starting with HER Valentine Vibes, which is the ladies' version of a playful pajamas set (there is also a HIS for the guys). We receive the top and pants that each fit Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Star mesh bodies. The top says Valentine Vibes surrounding a smiley face with both hands in peace signs, and the pants are dotted with black and white hearts. Lots of fun details and so generous for just a single linden :)

Next I changed tops for their GoodVibes With You Top prize. This cute sleeveless shirt comes in sizing for Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh bodies. The front says "I Love Hanging With You" above and below a pair of adorable monkeys swinging on the same branch :) This is particularly sweet because it could apply to friends or family as well as that special someone. It matched the red of the pj pants quite well, but you can pair it with jeans, pants, shorts, skirts, or whatever bottoms go with your current mood.

I had to laugh with the ~Sassy!~ Val tank dresses - Love is All You Need duo, a $25L exclusive offer that reflects the sassy attitude of the brand :) Our white "Little heart Breaker" dress and "I Licked it so it's Mine" in pink are each provided in Kupra, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu body sizes, plus the panty that fits Kupra, Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn bodies. Both dresses are trimmed in red, and the lollipop on I Licked It makes it seem plausible that it is a perfectly innocent statement ;) 

My final look of the night is another wonderful dollarbie prize, the [Ari-Pari] Wild Love Outfit. It's just right for anyone who is spending their Valentines in a warm SL climate, or just prefers the breezy feel of shorts to show off their legs. There are sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies each for top and shorts, as well as the HUD that offers 5 colors for each. The shorts all have a playful sketched heart texture with backgrounds that match the shirt colors so we can mix or match. I feel so cozy and flirty in this set!

Happy Weekend! I've got a houseguest who arrived in the morning and will be here till Sunday, part of my belated birthday celebration as we all had dinner tonight at my parents' from my favorite Thai place. It was delicious as always, and it is a relief that they can do gluten free foods for my parents. Now I'll be spending the weekend indoors trying to stay warm, since we're getting ridiculously cold weather with temps below zero (F). The plans are simple - tv, video games, and birthday cheesecake for dessert ;) I used to do ice cream cakes, yes in January, so I've never been a stickler for tradition. Candy Cane Wishes

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is your special invitation to the CMH Candy Cane 5 Hunt, brought to us by Cheeky Monkey Hunts. We're looking for candy canes, which will hold either a $1L hunt prize or an exclusive offer for $25L - $50L, and each designer gets to choose which and how many to hide for us :) As always, the website will guide you with landmarks, prices, hints, and preview images. This time of year we tend to be busy trying to plan holiday gatherings and gifts for others, but I want to remind you to take time to treat yourself as well. These are affordable and a great reason to take a break from holiday hubbub (RL or SL) and make sure you are practicing self care. It brightens my day to share these with you, but of course I'm trying them on my own avi and feeling pampered too :) 

My first look is the gorgeous ~Sassy!~ Rowan dress - red plaid which is a $25L exclusive for this hunt. The crimson hues and the pale silver trim do remind me of candy cane colors, so it is festive but not limited to December by any means. We receive Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, and Reborn mesh body sizes in this sweet treat.

I couldn't get over how fun and snuggly this prize is! Our GoodVibes Candy Cane Wishes Her is just $1L and does have a counterpart for the guys in a separate candy cane. The little monkeys in Santa hats gave me such a chuckle, and are the perfect nod to our hunt organizers. This outfit starts with the nightie in sizes for Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh bodies, and there are panties in the same set of sizing. Then we can even add the matching booties (slippers) which are unrigged and have a resize script built in. I just changed my Lara X feet to the flat setting and they fit perfectly, no adjustment needed, probably because they are meant to be roomy and cozy. Now all I need is a nice cup of cocoa, a fireplace, and Xan to cuddle with :)

In the same shopping area you can also find the CloudNine store, with Her Snow Good Red Sweater as their $1L prize for the ladies. Yes, there is a "His" prize hiding as well, so make sure your favorite guy also picks up his own candy cane if interested. Our red knit sweater has white trim and an image of snowmen on the front beneath the words "Up to Snow Good", a witty way to let the world know that you get up to mischief when the weather gets wintry. We wrap up the evening with the wonderful [Ari-Pari] Reindeer Knit Dress dollarbie hunt prize, which is both flattering and timely :) There are sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies, as well as a HUD with 10 colors for our lovely texture. The white trim shows off every color perfectly, and I've always been fond of this style of sweater with various stripes in different playful designs. The dress is short enough that I'd also gladly wear it with a pair of jeans or leggings beneath for really cold weather, turning it into a tunic for the day. 

My evening off from blogging was a good plan since my day was pretty rough, and that wasn't even because of the appointment itself. My teeth and gums are doing fine, but we wound up stopping (very much against my wishes) at a fast food place instead of going straight home. That took an extra half hour, when going directly home would have been 10-15 minutes at most, so my anxiety skyrocketed and isn't fully back to tolerable levels yet. Malus Park Haunted Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got another wonderful hunt to tell you about, the Malus Park Haunted Hunt. It takes place in the southwest corner of the Malus region, which includes a zen garden, memorial garden, The Refuge, and and oceanside dock. It's a beautiful place to explore, and you'll be looking for tiny pumpkins for $10L or less :) There are hints for some, and preview images for most, on the Malus Park website. I'm always up for any excuse to visit there, lol, and picking up bargains is a perfect reason. You know these hunt prizes are deeply discounted to be this inexpensive, but they are full top quality offerings from the various designers. If your wardrobe or your living space need to be Halloween-ified or brought into autumn, come on down!

My first look is one of the $10L treats from {Monstarous}. Their Agatha Dress Mini includes 3 versions of sleeveless belted dress and bonus sweater to layer beneath, with seasonal prints for the dress and coordinating solid hues for our sweater. They all fit Gen X Classic/Dainty, Gen X Curvy/Dainty, Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. I'm wearing the dress 1 with its sweater on the left, and dress 2 on the right without the sweater. I am very fond of traditional Halloween designs like this, with ghosts and carved pumpkins and generally non-scary but still distinctive for the holiday.

Malus Park is the home of [Ari-Pari], whose designer is the hardworking organizer of this hunt :) Their $5L Graveyard Outfit prize is an adorable tank top and shorts set, in sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. There's also a HUD of course, which offers 7 colors for the top and 6 for the shorts, with the difference being the black for the top which would make the bottom solid instead of having the intriguing silhouettes of tombstones in rows on our shorts. I love the versatility, being able to mix and match, and the RL weather here is almost still warm enough to wear shorts so I'm completely onboard with this breezy style for this time of year :)

My final look this evening will show you two of the 4 prizes from [ReM], which are all $10L apiece and well worth every linden. Their Witchy Nails are on the upper/left part of the photo, midnight blue with witches flying across the sky in pale gold that makes me think they are glowing from moonlight :) If you like your Halloween with a sense of humor (ditto!) then the [ReM] Cheeky Ghost Nails on the lower/right side ought to do the trick ;) Look at the little stinkers sticking their tongues out at us, cheeky indeed! Instead of saying boo, they must be blowing a haunted raspberry at us, an idea that tickled me entirely too much. It's been a pretty good day, and I think my support group meeting (every other Monday, for anxiety/agoraphobia) went pretty well this evening. Then I got to watch a hockey game, my favorite team's home opener with some emotional nods to our former goalie who passed away very recently. We won, and that is definitely dedicated to the goalie's memory. I'd had the pleasure of meeting him several times, and you couldn't find a nicer guy who just genuinely loved life and talking to people. I'm trying to fight the urge to trim my bangs since they're poking my eyeballs, lol, but I'll be at the salon on Wednesday so I just have to be patient and try to ignore them. I've been watching Halloween movies on Freeform, which is a fun romp through family-friendly classics that give me lots of laughs instead of the heebie-jeebies.
