Sassy and Swanky

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we swing by the SWANK Event again for their Pride Hunt which is part of the Celebration of Colors themed round this month. The gifts are found inside rainbow striped flames, easy to spot and free if you have their free group tag active :) Be sure to explore both floors of this impressively sized event, and I'm confident that you will be very pleased with the sales offers and gifts you encounter. I obviously was as usual, lol, and will always happily plan on a high priority visit to these events.

My first look of the evening is a playful bodysuit with artwork of a voodoo doll seated on the front. The [LABELITA] Camilla Body Red gift includes sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Reborn, and Juicy mesh bodies. I'm not sure exactly what the doll signifies, but he looks like he could use a hug. I'm always up for that :) The ruffles are a flattering detail, and I always wind up drawn to the boldness of bright red.

Some of the treats are indeed Pride themed, like our Nala Design - Marianna Pride Outfit 1. The dress, anklets, and heels are all designed to fit Legacy, Perky, Petite, Maitreya, Maitreya Petite, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. We also receive the rainbow earrings you see here, which go so well with the bands on the dress and the platforms of the shoes :) Speaking of shoes, how fun are those chains that drape across the toes and then along both sides? The anklets are optional since they are separate, but I do think they add a special something to the look.

{Le'La} Makana Set Gift is another great gift that you do not want to miss :) The top, cardigan, and skirt each come in sizes for Erika, Erika Bubble, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Nerido, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Juicy bodies. Then we can add the garters which fit Erika, Erika Squeeze, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Kupra Maze, Legacy, Legacy Maze, Reborn, and Reborn Maze thighs. The little heart shaped coin purse on the left garter is a really clever touch, and in case it's not clear the tank top says "Limited Edition". Yes, we are!

Find the Black Angel Store flame, and you'll receive their VESNA DRESS by BA Store as your reward :) I must say, leopard print is one of those things that may rise in prominence from time to time but never truly goes out of style. It looks great here on the top and straps, contrasting the black skirt which looks oh so sexy with that opening on the left thigh. For my last look of the night, I combined two gifts that look so nice together that I've been wearing this outfit off and on for a couple of weeks now ;) The Vulnus Pride Hunt Gift knotted top has rainbow colored trim to match the rainbow arch and clouds on the front, and the upper back says "Vulnus 4 Pride" in multicolored text. We receive sizing for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. Then I added our AXE SHORT ESTELA GIFT, one of my favorite pairs of shorts I've seen in SL in ages :) The floral pattern has lovely 60s and 70s vibes, just so bright and cheery, and the length is nice if you're wanting a decent amount of coverage (no cheeks hanging out lol) without feeling stuffy. They fit Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. With all those pretty colors of flowers, you could wear just about any top that you wish with these!

It felt like a long weekend, like each day went pretty slowly for me...I'm glad I went to the farmers market and it was nice despite being fairly hot, and I am relieved that I got lots of rest today. I don't know yet when I'll be going out anywhere this week, but it will most likely be to get my eyeglasses finally. The weather may affect that, but it just seems like common sense to have glasses as backup anyway when you wear contact lenses. Weekend Swank

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we return to the SWANK Event for their Goth theme round with pumpkin hunt. These prizes are all completely free for everyone who finds the carved pumpkins with a golden Swank logo in the opening. You just need their group tag active, and that is free to join too, so that just leaves the tempting sales offers if you wish to make some purchases while there ;) I am not trying to be a bad influence if you're being cautious with your spending habits, which is why I usually focus on discounts and freebies. By the same token, I understand that without some shopping to support these designers, they wouldn't be able to provide gifts and hunt prizes. So they go hand in hand, grab the gifts and thank them by checking out their sales offers :)

My first look of the evening is the playful ANNA 'Softline' Outfit'FATPACK. It consists of the lacy bra, skirt, and panties, each in sizes for Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies. There is also a HUD enclosed with 8 color choices for each piece, so we can mix and match with ease. This is such a pretty set, and the lace has me thinking lingerie :)

What better way to head into your weekend than decked out in leopard print? The {Le'La} Evora Dress Gift is a stunning long sleeved mini dress with black trim to really bring out the animal print's rosettes nicely, and that zipper in the front just begs to be played with ;) There are sizes for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, and Reborn mesh bodies included.

These two gifts are variants of the same beautiful dress, so I'm showing them together as a way to appreciate both lovely colors. The AXE-DRESS IDA /07 is the turquoise beauty on the left, and AXE-DRESS IDA /09 is the golden hued one on the right. They both have silver chains for the shoulder straps, and a velvety texture that makes both colors even more appealing. Each gift holds sizing for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies.

In a prior post of Swank gifts, I shared a V8 Underground treat and mentioned there was another for the ladies (and one for the gents), well here it is! Their **ABADDON X DEMON CONCEPT COSTUME COMPLETE OUTFIT** is fully loaded from head to toe, starting with the pauldron (top/shoulders), panties, and boots that fit Legacy, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. The makeup you see is a BOM layer for EvoX, and there are BOM layers for sheer transparence that is the shiny latex appearance on my midriff and thighs. We also receive two bracelets, a choker, horns, headpiece, tail, wings, and a fork that is held in my right hand with its built in pose. All of these items are adjustable, so you can get the devilishly good fit you deserve :) Personally I think they excel at creating costumes which makes this a special time of year to check their sales.

My final look tonight is our #SHOOSH - Elvi Gown [FATPACK] which is simply fantastic for this time of year :) It did make me think of Elvira when I spotted it, and also Morticia Addams, two elegantly gothic women who would rock this gown in a heartbeat! There are sizes for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies provided, along with a HUD that allows us to select from 25 colors each for the dress and sleeves, plus on/off for the sleeves, then 5 metals each for the back web, sleeve spiders, and dress spider, with on/off options for each of those as well. I've got it all visible on the left, and I turned off the sleeve spiders to the right without hiding the dramatically peaked sleeves because I simply adore them :) If you have some arachnophobia tendencies and want to hide all the spiders, it's very easy to do so and this still looks fantastic without.

It was a decent day, with a delicious meal at my parents' so that's always a plus :) My nerves are still frazzled but that is because I'm going out again in the morning and that makes 3 days in a row which is a lot for someone with agoraphobia. Anyone remember the Simpsons episode where Marge developed it from being mugged, and was magically cured by the end of the episode? My life is clearly not animated fiction, lol, and I am not thrilled with that type of portrayal because it makes people wonder why I am not being cured as easily. It took me over 30 years to get to this point, so there is no switch I can flip to turn it off. Still Swanky

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we have more SWANK Event group gifts to see, all from their 11th anniversary round. This means we're looking for glass globes with the Swank logo and the number 11 in gold, very pretty! Click each one with their free group tag active, and you'll be feeling like Christmas came early with all the generous gifts :) There are enough that I feel like I'll run out of time in the month (while the event lasts) before I run out of goodies to share, lol, but I am also trying to keep some variety and not bombard you with several posts in a row from the same source. Many thanks as always to the hardworking and generous designers for helping to make these events so special.

My first look of the evening is the beautiful GGVG GROUP GIFT DELORES. The strapless dress with mermaid style skirt and shrug jacket with puffed sleeves are each provided in sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. There is also a HUD enclosed that offers 6 colors each for several sections - corset, corset middle, skirt, skirt middle, jacket, and jacket edges - plus 3 metals for the front of the corset. I realized after taking the photos that the blue and red combo I chose on the right is reminding me of a few well known superheroes, which is apparently an accidental nod ;)

Two separate gifts wound up creating a perfect pairing for this look :) The AXE Group Gift top is one I recognize from previous Pride themed events, with a flattering shape and pretty stripes. There are Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies included. Our AXE-JEANS GIFT PRIDE has the same eye-catching rainbow stripes and are designed like the classic jeans style we know and love but with a low rise and little slits on the back of the pant legs, just above the heels. I'll bet in RL that would make skinny jeans much easier to get into :) Our jeans come in sizing for Legacy, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies.

The {Le'La} Leonesio Outfit has intriguing potential, as it can be styled to be flirty or business casual. The jacket and pants are each included in sizes for Freya, Isis, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, with matching shoes that fit Belleza, Legacy, Maitreya, and Slink high feet. We can easily add a BOM shirt to provide some modesty if necessary, like the business look I mentioned, and it will still be a very tantalizing outfit.

Next we go full formal with Sascha's Designs and their gorgeous SAS - Jovanna Mauve Gown. Isn't that color just glorious? :) The single shoulder gown has a sash or train on the right side, and the bodice is gathered and wrapped to really hug our figure. There are Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh body sizes included in this gift.

For my final look of the night, I slipped into the charming AVAgirl - Jules gift. It has a fun woven lace texture, for which you can select from 10 colors via the included HUD. In addition to the dress in sizing for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, we also receive a BOM pair of panties in white to wear beneath. I personally prefer to wear BOM undergarments whenever possible with mesh clothing, so if I rez in somewhere slowly or someone decides to derender my clothing, they will still see the BOM layer instead of a naked body.

It was a mixed bag of a day, with the Hello Kitty game providing most of the positive. Dinner at my parents' was nice, and they're getting together with some of my mom's cousins this weekend so she found more photo albums to show me that she will also be bringing with her. I got to see some really old pictures of my great grandparents, which is special because my great grandmother died when my mom was just a child and she barely remembers her. At least she can see herself as a baby and toddler, being held by her proud grandma in the photos :) The bad part of the mixed bag is having the housemate spring on me that the ultra-annoying houseguest will be here tomorrow until Monday, allegedly last minute decision but probably just kept from me so I couldn't have time to complain or make alternate arrangements. I get to spend all weekend hiding in here with just my pc and tv to distract me from their drunken debauchery, lol, doesn't that sound just awesome? Lots of nausea from stress, so the farmers market is a maybe at this point. The last 3 weeks going there got progressively harder, so that isn't helping matters much. Colors Of Swank

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got some more wonderful SWANK Event group gifts to share, as we are partway through their Celebration of Colors round for Pride Month. The gifts are plentiful as always, with over 100 designers on two floors of this impressive event. We can find treats for just about everyone as there are male and female fashions and accessories, plus home decor that helps us spruce up our living spaces. I think my premium house could use a little updating in a few rooms, maybe by swapping out some furniture or adding a pretty rug. Meanwhile I am having so much fun trying on all the clothing gifts! As a reminder, they are calling it a hunt (but they are not hard to find!) and we are looking to click all the rainbow striped flames we see. They look like they are carved from wood, and have a photo of the gift in the middle or the default image of the word Gift. You need the SWANK VIP group tag active, free to join.

My first look of the evening starts with the [LABELITA] Pride Gift, a cropped sleeveless top with heart shaped cutout to show off cleavage. All edges are trimmed in rainbow stripes :) There are sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies included. If you want to pair it with another event gift like I did, let me suggest our terrific [Aura Design] Lila JEANS - FATPACK. These flattering denim jeans have suspenders that dangle down each side, and an optional add-on tag to hang from the left front belt loop. We receive the jeans and add-on each in Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn sizing, with a HUD for the jeans with 20 denim hues and one for the add-on with 12 words or phrases imprinted upon it. Randomly I chose PIZZA above, lol, but Bad Ass was really tempting too. If none of them speak to you, you can always leave the add-on in the folder unworn and enjoy the jeans alone :)

Those jeans also look great with the AXE-PRIDE GIFT, a striped tee with plenty of lovely colors that call to mind several different Pride flags. I'm sure there are plenty of skirts, shorts, pants, and leggings in your inventory that you could wear with this shirt instead if you wish, for variety :)

Next I tried on both versions of the LUXE Paris Womens Pride Hunt gift, proving to myself that I can never choose a favorite lately ;) The black and white varieties of this flirty dress are each provided in sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. The bold rainbow stripes really pop against both backdrops, and the side cutout and slit in the skirt add extra visual appeal. I'm always going to be excited about halter style necklines too, can't help myself.

If my photos look a little darker tonight, it may be because I updated Firestorm and the lighting is all changed and I am still working on getting it adjusted to suit my personal preferences. I never dealt much with windlights or EEP before, so now I feel like I'm trying something new to me while being thrown into the deep end as it's critical for taking photos. Valentine Shop and Hop

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm so excited to start sharing gifts from the Valentine Shop & Hop 2025 event, so I hope you're ready to do some exploring :) It opened to the public just a few days ago, and is going until the 18th so just past the holiday. I know not everyone is a fan of Valentine's Day and I deeply respect that, so with that in mind I'll say that the 14 regions are decorated in such a way that you hopefully won't feel overwhelmed with lovey dovey stuff ;) While there are hearts and flowers, there are also nods to friendship and spring. The wonderful sales offers and generous prizes are a mix of themed and not strictly so, meaning you'll see some red, pink, hearts, and romance but plenty of other styles too. As I always do, I'm sticking to one region at a time (gotta keep this bounty of gifts organized somehow!) so tonight we're at Golden. I also must mention that FabFree has once again done some incredible work getting their spreadsheet ready to help us all, landmarks and details about the gifts with tabs at the bottom to sort by type (male, female, unisex, dinkies, etc.) or region or store name. So grateful!

My first look is a flirty one, thanks to the <7w> Petty Set - Polka Hearts Golden gift from 7wishes. To start with, the unpacker HUD will have your avatar dancing around happily while you select the mesh body size to unpack - Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, or Waifu. The folder will include the top, panties, ruffle panties, and skirt, as well as some HUDs for your texturing pleasure. The polka heart golden HUD has 6 colors each, with or without hearts, for the boobs, strips, collar, and tie; then the skirt/panty HUD has 6 solid colors apiece for the panties, bow 1, bow 2, and ruffle. Now if you wear the panties without the ruffle, that particular column of colors doesn't matter of course :) The main skirt and lower bra portion of the top are both textured gold with white hearts as soon as you wear any of the HUDs. 

Our 13 Avenue: Valentine '25 Group Gift actually doesn't need a group tag to claim it, just visit and give it a little click :) We receive the knotted top and laced skirt with built in belt, each in Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizing. I'm sure you can guess that there is also a HUD, well that has 3 choices for each piece so our tops have fun patterns and our skirt has a trio of solid hues with contrasting trim already selected. I can't help but thinking of the Rolling Stones when I see that pattern on the right above with the tongue out, even if it's not an exact replica of their logo.

I kept the 13 Avenue gift's skirt on here to show off a different shirt, the AnaSTyle - Lilu Pink&Hearts Top gift. It actually matches a store group gift and a sales item there, but I was feeling adventurous ;) The sleeveless top with high neckline is subtly patterned with hearts and trimmed in black, playful without being over the top mushy. This gift comes in Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes. I'd gladly wear this any day of the year, not just Valentine's Day week.

Next we bring some sex appeal with the AXE-DRESS GIFT 2025, which upon further reflection seems to be more of a romper but I'm loving it either way. Halter necklines make me smile, and the neckline plunges deeply to a heart shaped golden ring, mimicking the hearts stamped on the fabric in deep pink. The gift includes sizing for Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. I do appreciate when an outfit gives a noteworthy rear view in addition to looking gorgeous from the front, as our departures ought to be as attractive as our arrivals :)

For my final look of the evening, I chose a formal beauty in a color that Barbie would be proud to wear :) Our HORL - Tyssa Outfit gift consists of the top and skirt in Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizing. I love that bare strip of skin at the waist between the pieces, and the way the skirt flares out and pools at our feet. 

The weekend has me like "it was the best of times, it was the worst of times..." because I genuinely had a good weekend with a big bad spot. I was supposed to try to go to the farmers market that I'd been missing for about a year and a half, but my anxiety had other ideas, and this time the anxiety (and nausea) won. I was very upset Friday night about the plane crash that was very near where my uncle and his family (my favorite cousins) used to live, and I'd even been in that mall with them a couple of times. So I was all in my head, and my mom had made a big deal of wanting to be at the market for my first time back, so I was under enough pressure that I should have been able to cry diamonds. After several hours of trying to sleep during which my body overrode my prescription meds that were supposed to calm me down, I conceded that my housemate and houseguest would be off to the market without me. Saturday basically sucked, hehe, but I had a helpful therapy session earlier and I'm feeling slightly less defeated. The houseguest left a couple of hours ago, and I am infinitely grateful for their support and kindness. I mention these things in case anyone reading this is struggling with anxiety too, or knows someone who is, to show that you are not alone. Meanwhile I had leftover Pad Thai for dinner, which was just as tasty as it was Friday, and I'm trying to plan some outings and meals for the upcoming week. Happy Anniversary SENSE

 Hiya everyone! Tonight is a part two of the SENSE Event and their 7th anniversary round, which wraps up on the 8th so please do hurry and stop by :) Their group is free to join, and there are many gifts available at various displays in pretty black bags with the Sense logo. I could keep going with more parts since there are so many generous gifts, but the calendar is not my friend in that regard unfortunately. I'm still annoyed at myself for not finding out about it until its final week, but I'm grateful to be able to sneak in two full posts about it before the round closes. 

My first look of the evening is the AXE-GIFT Dress, a sweet treat in brick red that looks warm and inviting. The high neckline and long sleeves are balanced by a very short hem, and this lovely gift includes Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Peach, and Reborn mesh body sizes. It is tempting me to add some leggings beneath for a more wintry look, or at the very least some undies to prevent cam-pervs ;)

I also adore the AXE-OUTFIT Grace gift, from its glittery tube top to its extra shiny pants with slits on the flared legs. The top is provided in sizes for Belleza Classic, Belleza Curvy, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Juicy mesh bodies, while the pants fit Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies. The subtle plaid on the pants are a fun touch too, and Xan even noticed the reflective qualities of the pants :)

I kept on the pants so I could show you two wonderful tops here :) The MCC - woman - xmas sweater 10 from MadCatCreations is the lovely on the left, and has a turtleneck built in to match the cuffs and hem. It is provided in Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, Waifu, Senra Jamie, and Star mesh body sizing. Then on the right you can see the AnaSTyle - Lia Red - Top, giving very different weather vibes yet in a similar hue. This cutie is designed for Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, and will go just as well with your favorite skirt as with a casual pair of jeans. 

Next I slipped into the gorgeous JXL-DRESS 13/08 gift, which is one of two I found at the event from this brand. The broad ruffle up top loops around diagonally to provide a single sleeve, and the right side of the skirt is slit all the way to the waist and tied in a playful bow. It fits Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Pinup, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. The green has a deep and rich quality that I definitely appreciate.

My final look of the night has a similar fuzzy quality to the first picture up there, at least on the pretty sweater :)  Our ALO - Anais Top & Skirt - Set 05 gift includes Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu sizes, and the top and skirt are separate pieces if you wish to wear them individually. I never rule that out when it's a possibility, even if I am enjoying the various shades of blue together. It made me think of this great song from the 70s, Misty Blue by Dorothy Moore, which I cannot recommend highly enough if you are feeling a bit reflective and enjoy bluesy slow songs by a woman whose voice sounds like warm honey.

I'm really slow tonight and I'm not even sure why. Dinner with my parents was nice, and my dad sounded unusually supportive when I mentioned the outings I'd done this week. He's usually pretty emotionally detached, so I'll take whatever kindness I can get from him :) The weather is getting very wintry here, with 3-6" of snow coming on Monday but some icy conditions before then (like currently) so I am staying home and trying to stay cozy. More WIP Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're returning to the WIP Event, because I've got more generous group gifts to share. Their group is free to join, and almost all of the displays have a pretty giftbox for us to click and claim some festive treats. Some are holiday themed but many are not, so you can enjoy them whenever you wish regardless of the calendar. I'm eager to return and do some shopping before this round wraps up on the 22nd :)

My first look shows two very different but equally terrific tops, so I'll start from the left. That would be our [Mow] Lewa Top @Black gift, a sheer tube top with loosely attached sleeves, cinched in the middle to help accentuate cleavage. There are sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies included. The cozy treat on the right is our Duet Songbird Sweater, with turtleneck and cute design on the upper left chest. Claim this gift and you'll find sizing for Erika, Hourglass, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies inside. With both I'm wearing the white pair of Delizio jeans from their marketplace fatpack freebie, a favorite of mine for easy wear with just about any type of top.

I was almost tempted to keep those jeans on underneath this gift, just for a more wintry feeling ;) This is the AXE "GIFT DRESS 2", a buttoned shirt dress that is nearly bursting those buttons and is adorned with lots of fun decorated trees and stars on its texture. We receive Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh body sizes of this flirty low-cut gift. I'm just thinking about it and I actually have 3/4 of those bodies so I could wear this in a number of ways.

CherryUp! has provided us with two lovely gifts that go together perfectly and whose colors are a nod to the brand name. Their Mandy Top. Cherry has bare shoulders, long sleeves that are tight from the elbow down, and plunging neckline tied in the middle. It fits Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Juicy bodies. Then we get to add the CherryUp! Mandi Skirt. Cherry Jean, a richly dyed denim skirt with built in panties that the very short rear hem shows off ;) I really like the way the right side is slit but buttoned partway, just a little extra flirtatious flavor. We can mix and match these with other pieces of course, I just happen to adore how they look together.

Next we have another reason why my posting about this on Primfeed in a little while will not be able to be marked G general content...no complaints here though! The Melody Iman// fatpack is a playful pairing of cropped long sleeved top and distressed jeans, both in sizing for Classic, Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu bodies. One of the HUDs is for the top and jeans in solids, with 20 colors for the top, 20 for the trim (sleeve stripes), 10 for the pants, 10 for the loops, and 10 button colors. The HUD for top patterns offers 20 each for the top and the sleeves' stripes, all in the sweet butterfly pattern you see on the left above.

For my final look of the night, I slipped into the gorgeous [Pink&Love] Nuria - Dress & Jacket Fluffy - Sweety - Hearts gift. The long dress with daring side slit is dotted with tiny white hearts, and comes in Erika, Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn body sizes. Then we can add the fluffy jacket if we wish, which has two simple sizes called one and two. Just try each one on and see which one suits your body and shape better :) If you're going somewhere fancy this weekend, perhaps this outfit is the right choice and you can shimmy out of the jacket once you're arrived. What an entrance we can make!

It was a decent day with a very nice dinner at my parents', and we looked through some more old pictures that my mom found. Some were of my cousins when they were really little, at my 18th birthday party I think, and a few of 5 year old me with one of my first parakeets. That always makes me miss having birds around. I've got a really busy weekend ahead, lots to do in SL (Shop & Hop, Advents galore, hunts, events, etc. etc. etc.) so I need to get some better rest tomorrow. Still Swanky

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm diving back into the Swank Event gifts, as I have tons that I just can't wait to show all of you. The 10th anniversary round is open until the end of the month, and in that time they have established the Swank event as a reliable source of top designers offering new releases at great prices. They also do love a good celebration with group gifts for all :) These treats are found in gold and glass baubles/balls with a number 10 in the middle, so even their containers are beautiful. I also want to remind you that there are a few men's gifts among these treasures, so spread that news and bring a male avatared friend or two.

My first outfit of the evening is the [4U] ~ CASUAL Collection ~ 002 gift. This charming bare-shouldered top and ripped jeans are each provided in Freya, Isis, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes, and since they are separates they can be worn together or individually with other favorites. The floral pattern on the blouse is mirrored in the blossoms on the right front pocket area of the jeans, a noteworthy detail just like the built in belt of our pertly cuffed jeans.

Next we see the AXE-DRESS GWEN / 06 which is one of the gifts from the AXE Store. This beauty includes the well-matched top and skirt in sizing for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra Bimbo, Low, Original, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. Then we can pair them with neutral black heels that fit Belleza, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Slink feet. They have gold at the ankle and draped down the heel, which matches the clasps on both the top and diagonal hemmed skirt. 

This sexy outfit is our *ASIA* FIONA pink gift, and it is sure to turn heads! The dress and panties are provided in Belleza Classic, Belleza Classic Dainty, Belleza Curvy, Belleza Curvy Dainty, Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, Peach, and Reborn mesh body sizes, with towering heels that fit Belleza, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn feet. The fingerless gloves are a BOM layer and they are no-copy, which I mention since they will not unpack correctly unless you rez out the package and open it the traditional way. That should serve as your reminder that anything you add to unpack that is labeled "no copy" may not be delivering all of its contents, since we are technically copying those items into our inventory and you cannot copy an item while it's attached to you. I love unpacking HUDs, but I've learned over time to be careful and check those permissions :)

Another terrific gift I get to show off tonight is the LUXE Paris CONGO Dress. Its bare shoulders are great for these in-between weather days where it is still warm but occasionally breezy, and the bold stripes are interspersed with animal prints to great effect. This gift includes Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizes.

My final look of the night is the Ahlure - Clara Outfit gift, just in time for autumn with those long sleeves and lush knit pattern :) The top and skirt each fit Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, and we also receive a HUD with 12 colors each for the top, skirt up, and skirt low. The skirt up refers to the broad waistband, and the skirt low would be the remainder of this pretty pleated micro mini skirt. What type of color combo would make you happiest for this outfit? I like contrasting the waistband and skirt, but all tinted the same makes for a very sleek appearance that also looks wonderful.

It was a quiet day and an overly politics-filled evening, LOL, so I am very much looking forward to heading into SL later to unwind with Xan and prepare my next blog post. It's 77 degrees in my office right now, so I don't think Mother Nature is ready to let go of summer just yet...perhaps like me, she's having hot flashes :P  My feet are chilly though, oddly enough, so I think I'll be donning some slipper socks in a moment. Yes There's More

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is another opportunity for me to share some of the fantastic Womenstuff Hunt prizes, over 100 that are yours for free with the paid membership ($50L) to the Womenstuff group. That works out to less than half a linden dollar per prize, and that isn't even considering the many stores that have gifts for the group out all the time :) I'd already been a member of the group for several years, so I'm really glad I held onto that membership! The 'Stuff Lounge has a HUD available to group members that will guide you with photos, hints, and even teleporting you to each location if you wish. If not, it'll distribute a landmark for each stop if you click the pushpin icon. We have until the end of the month to find all the pretty red bags which are squared with circular gold handles up top. We can also use the FabFree spreadsheet to help us, so many thanks to Porta who organized that handy tool! 

My first look of the evening is the AXE-OUTFIT Grace, a striking casual top and pants pairing that I've already worn a few times since claiming ;) The sequined strapless top and shiny plaid pants are each provided in Belleza Classic, Belleza Curvy, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Juicy mesh body sizes. Did you notice the long slits on the ankles? Normally I wouldn't think of sequins and plaid as a typical combination, but this look made a believer out of me! I think the muted color palette helps with that too, something else I don't usually gravitate towards in the summer but again it won me over.

Next, I changed into the Fatal Fashion - Outfit 427 - PURPLE prize, which I noticed the FabFree spreadsheet indicated was the wrong landmark, but I found it there with no trouble. I even double checked this morning :) So the top, skirt, and thigh high boots are all included here, and will each fit Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. Also included are our earrings and studded bracelets for each wrist, so we can accessorize from head (ears) to toe! The only thing I'll add is some panties, since the skirt is rather short and most of the places I go would frown upon that kind of flashing ;)

V-Twins has a generous prize for us too, their rugged Sakara Complete Outfit. The tube top reads "I'm a Biker Born to Ride", and looks great with the shredded miniskirt and panties, as well as laced up boots. Part of me keeps thinking it's Friday, and another part was leaning towards it being Wednesday...my brain is still a whirlwind. I took a half dose of the new medication tonight instead of the full, and I still feel a very small amount of the side effects (mostly jittery or shaky) but much less than last night which is a good sign. After a few days at the lower dose, if I feel comfortable, I'll bump it up to the full pill (they have score lines, so I used a pill cutter) and see how it goes. I'm doing okay and not dismissing it after one iffy evening :) If it were anything serious or potentially indicative of an allergic reaction, that would be a different matter and I would be in touch with the doctor or pharmacy immediately. Otherwise, this looks to be a good weekend ahead since I have a pleasant houseguest who just arrived a few moments ago and will be here until Sunday evening. It's a casual visit, no major plans other than enjoying each other's company, and I am pleased with that. I hope you're all having a nice day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!
