Hiya everyone! Tonight I am inviting you to the Flower Power Fair & Treasure Hunt, which is open until the 5th of July. In addition to the floral and hippie themed offerings for sale, the treasure hunt portion is a search for flowers that have hovertext saying to click for a gift. There are groups of dandelions (flat prim) and a few sculptie flower blossoms as hunt objects, they were mostly white but I saw a couple tinted yellow. All are free, and contain gifts from the many participating designers. You will find fashion and home decor among these treats.
My first look is the prize from Boho Valkyrja called BV Minnie dress 03. It has a vibrant pattern of peace symbols with black cowl neck and detached sleeves. The prize includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, and Maitreya mesh bodies.
This charming look is the EC Hollywood Glam Lucy Love Outfit from Emerald Couture. It starts with the top, in an applier for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, and Slink. Then it continues with the high waisted pants with belt that matches the top wonderfully, in standard mesh sizes plus eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. What better way to finish off an outfit than with a great pair of coordinating shoes? These come in Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink high sizing, with that same pretty pattern on the back and sides.
Moonstar has two gifts for us to claim, one of which is this flirty Mesh Bronze Floral Sheer Dress and Necklace. The revealing dress comes in a standard fitted version along with sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. The necklace has a built in resize script so you can adjust it to suit your personal shape and size. There are even panties, provided as a system layer plus an Omega applier.
The other prize from Moonstar is this terrific dress called Flower Power, an ideal choice for the theme of the fair :) It is provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP, with matching panties you can apply with an Omega HUD. The pattern really made me smile, and the bold ruffle is sure to turn heads.
Syren's Song is another generous designer with two gifts to find, although tonight I am only showing you one so you'll still have the other to find as a surprise :) This is their Raven Black dress, with leathery corset style bodice and sheer lacy skirt. It comes in standard sizes plus a fitted version for classic avatars, as well as Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes for mesh bodies. I would recommend layering some undies beneath for modesty if you're so inclined, as that skirt is meant to show off!
I am definitely a tired magpie tonight, from being short on sleep and having a busy day. My grandmother is doing fairly well, and everyone enjoyed the visit. Her hair might have been longer than mine, longest she's had it in 50 years probably, so it needed the cut and I'm relieved I was able to help. She was having a healthy dinner when we left, and I hope her caregiver finds the new hairdo easier to handle. My week ahead should be fairly peaceful, not too many things planned, so I am looking forward to that for sure. Hiya everyone! Tonight we will be exploring more Fall 2017 Twisted Hunt prizes, bringing beauty to our homes and fingertips as well as our wardrobes. The Twisted Hunt is a free gridwide hunt that takes place twice a year, considered the hardest hunt in SL, and this round's theme is Victorian Gothic with a color of Burgundy Wine. The gently spinning cubes are that color, and many of the prizes feature it as well, some even with the same exact texture as the cube. There are plenty of treats from side hunts to discover as well, and many prizes contain male and female versions or are unisex for all to appreciate. That includes some terrific home furnishings, even skyboxes, so plenty of ways to enjoy the theme.
Sinfully Seddy has this beautiful Bitter Romance Gown and Parasol hiding in their cube for the ladies, and a suit and top hat for the gentlemen. The gown comes in sizes for Hourglass, Physique, Maitreya, TMP, and a standard avatar version, while the parasol has a hold pose and a resize script built in. I love the extra touches of the purple bodice with black lace overlay. I found that the prize from Fallen Arms: Rough goes very well with this look, it is the Craftian Monocle which has a purplish tinted lens and some playful tentacles holding it in place.
Our next stop is ~KRAKT~ where you will find this Victoria Female Gift (as well as a male gift) hiding in their cube. The dress comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, while the shrug style jacket is in 4 fitmesh sizes (XS, S, M, L). Please excuse the transparency issue my new hair is causing, the jacket is solid across the shoulders and has that lovely black bow you see in the front. On the right you can see that the dress is striking without the jacket as well.
#bye has an alluring gift waiting for us, their Fall 2017 Twisted Hunt gown. It comes in standard mesh sizes plus a fitted version, along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes. The version for Maitreya is named differently but I checked and it is the same gorgeous dress. I paired it with the hunt gift from Syren's Song, their Blood Stone Collar, a ruby or garnet-like heart held in place by black leather. It will be an ideal accessory for anything you decide to wear it with.

This is their *Victoria* Fireplace & Picture, 4 pieces in all, consisting of the fireplace with a Land Impact of 3 whose fire can be clicked to turn on or off, picture with LI of 1, and two sconces with a LI of 2 each for a total of 8 LI. The set is rezzed out at once, if you are in edit mode (just right click anything and then choose edit from the pie menu, minimize the edit window and drag out your items from inventory) then you can move them as one intact piece to position them. Since they are copyable, you can rez out multiple sets and fill your entire home if you so choose.
One last look for the evening, this is our prize from Inevitable Madness called Twisted Victorian Nails. There are appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, Slink, and Vista, each offering 4 designs: silhouettes of a wolf, owl, or raven, and the ombre of black to burgundy to nearly white. Mix and match or choose your favorite of the moment, your nails will thank you for adorning them so richly.
Hair note of the night: Truth Hair has released their September VIP group gift, and it is so much fun! The name is Athena and there is a full set of color HUDs as with all the VIP gifts, I chose a redhead selection here. The stylist HUD lets you have both sides down and curly, or one pulled back into a braid, or even the full side swept back with that pretty plait. There are 3 wisps of bangs that can be turned on individually or all turned off at once, so there is quite a lot of variety happening in this exuberant hairdo.

Tonight I am delighted to show you a few more selections from The Wash Cart Sale, where everything is just $10L and there is a terrific variety of budget friendly clothing, accessories, home decor and more. I also finally got to visit a small hunt, not a gridwide but a single location, the Fall of Man Twisted Fairytales Hunt. The hunt ends on the 30th and yes I realize that means you have just one day and a few hours remaining, but it was fairly quick and I felt it was worthwhile to share :) Follow the link, explore ths shopping offers which are in the streets of the shopping area and are open books that are much larger versions of the hunt prize. Elgund&Nilsson have two hidden prizes for us, I believe they are two different designers collaborating on the store. On the left is NIL- Kristina Teal, which comes in standard mesh sizes, and on the right you can see the PE - Evie 5 swimsuit which includes XS-M, M-XL, eBody, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique sizes. They are both such pretty prizes, and I think of them as one for daytime and the other for a night out.
Our final look of the evening is a better view of my nails from tonight, which you can pick up at the Lost & Found event. Tonight I have some more free prizes from Hunt for Your Inner Slut 16 to share, now once upon a time using that word in connection to myself would have offended me but I believe the internet has taught me that language is flexible and the meanings of words can evolve. For me it is a reflection of that inner mischievous playful side, the one who laughs easily at naughty jokes and can appreciate the power of mutual desire. I hope you can enjoy the humor of searching for golden cocks (the male member, not the rooster) in two dozen different stores. You have until the 15th of May which should be plenty of time to explore these locations. I also have a few poses from Verocity for Hello Tuesday to show you, a bit later than I anticipated but they are usually there for more than just 24 hours. Whew!
This first outfit is a great find for the season, from Crash Styles and it is called {CS} N'Bloom HYIS Spring Outfit. The halter top includes standard sizes plus Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique versions, while the strappy skirt is provided in standard, Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, Physique, Maitreya, and TMP versions. The matching wedge sandals offer a nice range too- Belleza medium, Maitreya medium, Slink MID, and TMP high sizes are included. I am wearing the Slink mid's here and they fit like a dream. I love the bow and rings on the back of the halter top, very intricate and airy looking.
The golden willie at MadCatCreations is hiding two different dresses for us, in various shades of one of my favorite colors. On the left you can see MCC sexy 16 dress, which comes in a standard fitted size along with Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique versions, and just look at the shimmer of the latex texture! On the right and in the center, two different views of the MCC ruffled flowers for inner slut, provided in 8 fitmesh sizes including standard, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. The mixture of patterns is surprisingly lovely, the color theme keeps it from feeling too busy. I love the various cutouts and the bold bow.
Continuing the unintentional bow theme, this stunning dress from Syren's Song is called Jinx White and features a touch of corset lacing in the back, and a bow at the end along with one on the front. The dress includes a fitmesh version plus sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and eBody. The color contrast reminds me of a tuxedo, and really accentuate our curves beautifully. I decided to add a terrific pair of earrings I found on the hunt, the Raven Earrings from Aseriz. The majestic birds are perched on what looks to be a bronze disc, dangling from a few chain links and an amber gem on the lobe itself. I am fond of birds as my blog title indicates, and these are a lovely addition to any outfit.
For my final look of the evening, I get to show off not only another HYIS prize but some great poses as well :) The outfit is the Black Zaga Set from ***Sexy Princess** and includes the bra and shorts each in standard mesh sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and TMP fits. The polka dot pattern gives it a retro feel, and that strappy top goes so well with the low cut boy shorts. As for the poses, they are this weeks' offering from Verocity at Hello Tuesday, where you will find the Shandi Pose Set at $25L for the set of 6 poses with mirrors so 12 total. That is half price and an amazing bargain! From left to right you can see Shandi 1M, Shandi 3M, and Shandi 5M. The M stands for mirror, so for that first one if you need to face left instead of right just choose Shandi 1 from your folder instead. Mirrored poses are a delight, and one of the many things I appreciate about Verocity.
My day was decent, with the most noteworthy thing being a bizarre dream (nightmare?) that someone had a vendetta against me because of something that happened in 1990, a sporting event and not anything I had any control over other than I did really truly attend it (Summer Slam). I tried to explain that 27 years is way too long to hold a grudge, so it was definitely set in the current time. Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is a time sensitive one, as it involves a hunt that ends on the 30th, but I feel like it deserved to be featured and I just discovered it myself this morning. It is the Dark Wonderland Hunt on the Fall of Man sim, one gorgeous area to search with 19 stores participating for a total of I believe 29 hidden cupcakes. When you land, you will see a ring of rocks that will let you click to go down the rabbit hole, this teleports you to their Wonderland where all the cupcakes can be found. There are hints on their website, and it was a lot of fun exploring the build, so much to see! Xan and I really enjoyed it, and since it is an adult sim I was expecting more of a horror type take on the classic story and was surprised but pleased that it was not spooky. Creepy settings can be great fun too, I just was not necessarily in the mood for scary stuff at 4 AM ;) I can't decide if my favorite part was the teacup carousel, the chess game with moving pieces, or the huge teapot that I dangled from while it poured a nice giant cup of tea.
This stunning gown is one of 4 prizes you can find from Syren's Song in those hidden cupcakes. It is called Off With Your Head, and comes in Belleza, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and Fitmesh versions. There are so many great details here, like the hearts at the hem and the Juliet sleeves with crisp points at the wrists. If you enjoy this one, there are 2 other variations of this style hidden in other cupcakes, Alice and Dark Alice, and they each have their own color theme and styling variations.
This is yet another beauty from Syren's Song, called Raven Red and it is included in standard mesh sizes plus a fitted version and Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique fits. I need to mention that the lace skirt is quite sheer, and I went commando (no panties) to show what it looks like as is. I do recommend adding your favorite undergarments if you are going to a sim whose rules would indicate a need, any black or red pair would look especially sharp beneath this lovely dress and many mesh bodies include undies in one or both of those colors.
The prize from God Mod is this Wonderland Gown, a delight in dark colors with a vintage illustration. It is included in standard sizes along with Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and TMP versions. I am really glad I found this cupcake and was able to claim this terrific gift. I am also glad to get a chance to use this particular pose from Verocity (Cheryl 6), it suited the dress so well.
Interesting note, I was seeing most of the cupcakes as having purple icing (probably similar to the darker shade on the t-shirt image) and Xan was seeing them as royal blue on his monitor, so I can't really say for sure which color your monitor will show. I liked the purple theme of this photo, which starts with the shirt from To The Moon & Back called M&B Dark Wonderland Womens. It comes in plenty of fitmesh sizes including standard, Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and TMP. There is even a mens version tucked inside the cupcake, so whichever avatar you wear, you can enjoy the eerie cheshire grin. On the right I am hugging one of the prizes from Dixie Designs, their DDesigns Dark Rabbit Purple, who has a built in hold pose as seen above. Their other cupcakes hold a red version and a set of bouncing peeps to rez out as decor, so be sure to find them all. My jeans in this photo and the next are a favorite gift of mine from the Marketplace, the Delizio Jeans which include several colors in system layers plus Maitreya and Omega HUDs. I wear them a lot and highly recommend them.
More fun shirts, on the left I am wearing our prize from Get Frocked called Mad Here Crop Top which comes in standard mesh sizes and has an extended turtleneck with that famous grin on it, and says "We're all mad here" across the front. On the right is one of our 4 gifts from SHUTTER, called Make America Late Again in heather grey, that cupcake also contains a light blue version and each are provided in standard sizes. I know this is based on a political slogan so I'll stress that I am neither poking fun of the person whose slogan it is, nor am I endorsing them in the least, just enjoying the humor of the perpetually tardy rabbit with whom I can identify as I am usually running late for things. The other prizes from SHUTTER include the male version of this shirt, some Wonderland themed gestures, and even a colorful dress that matches the hunt theme. These are some really creative prizes, so I hope you find them all this weekend while you can :)
I am already tired from this weekend and it's barely started, LOL! I have plans for both Saturday and Sunday, and trying to help with an emotionally draining family situation (elderly family member) that makes my Fridays and Sundays bittersweet. We play games to keep her brain active, tonight was Pokeno which if you're unfamiliar is like Bingo but instead of numbers, the bingo cards have playing cards on them. You use a regular deck of cards to call them, and 5 in a row gives you the win like regular bingo. It's been years, so it was neat to play again and we are trying to find other simple, easy to learn games for 5 players. Hiya everyone! There is still time to visit The Wash Springtacious Cart Sale, where you will find plenty of discounted merchandise for $10L or a special item for $50L per cart, with many of your favorite designers and possible future new favorites. I look forward to these each season to see what new clothing, accessories, and home decor we can pick up at such bargain prices. Another thing I look forward to are gridwide hunts, and this month includes the Womenstuff Hunt with 150 stores participating who have hidden red t-shirts for us to find. When we do, we claim them for either $0L or $1L and get to enjoy such prizes as dresses, casual wear, lingerie, jewelry, shoes, even tattoos. I love showing you peeks of the ones I have found, and hope it inspires you to indulge in some hunting too.
In my first look, I am definitely ready to hit the town! The dresses you see here are just two of the several available at the Luziefee cart, their Zaya Spring Dress in aqua on the left and nude on the right. There is also a lilac version of this same style, and a different style in a few color choices, all for just $10L each. This dress includes sizes for Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, eBody, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and a fitted standard version. Meanwhile my beautiful jewelry is another wonderful cart sale bargain, one of several from LUMINESSE. I am enjoying their Shalana Edwina Set here, which includes the earrings and necklace (resize script built into the necklace) for a mere $10L. There are treats here for all by the way, some really nice mens' jewelry in addition to a variety of other ladies' gems such as earrings, belly rings, even a gorgeous anklet, each so artfully crafted. I decided that since variety is so fun, we needed to see another weekend look, and one thing that spring brings to mind for me is flowers. So I draped myself in some floral finery! The dress is found at the Savoha cart, just $10L will get you their Summer Mini Dress in standard mesh sizes. There are of course other offerings, both casual and dressy, for mesh or classic avatars. As for my shoes, they are one of several shades of Dahlia Heels from .:battle fairy:. and this one is in ivory. They and the other shades are only $10L each, and there is a trio pack of shoes as their special $50L offering too. The lovely Dahlia heels include sizes for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink high as shown here, and I would be hard pressed to choose a favorite variety since they are all beautiful. Maybe instead of sweet and innocent, I need a more edgy look...so I was intrigued when I tried on this alluring outfit hiding in the Womenstuff t-shirt at Hardcore Clothing. It is called My Darkness Womens Outfit, and includes the dress in plenty of mesh sizes (Eve Pulpy, Eve Slim, Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, Physique, Maitreya, Tonic Fine, Tonic Curvy, and TMP) plus the matching choker and even those wild heels for Belleza, Maitreya, or Slink. The heels are tall and have some spikes on the back as well as around the ankle strap, and definitely add pizazz. Just find the t-shirt and you can claim this gift for free.
This prize combines sweet and edgy, and does so quite beautifully. This is the prize you will find at Syren's Song and is called Raven Black, in standard mesh sizes along with a fitted version and ones for Hourglass, Physique, and Maitreya. I love the laced corset contrasted with sheer lace, two different versions of lace that look terrific together. I am wearing the black panties that come with the Slink Physique body (the underwear layer that you can apply from the body's HUD) and I honestly cannot tell for sure if I am seeing that or if there are panties built into the texturing of the skirt itself, so you may want to keep that in mind if you are heading to a sim whose maturity rating would require all bits to be fully covered. I just happened to already be wearing panties as force of habit, after having a mishap once where someone got a bit creepy after noticing (in other words camming up my skirt apparently) that I'd forgotten.
One last look of the evening, this free prize can be found at Vanbeeck's and is named Spring Poofy. It is a soft beige color and scattered with what I imagine is a meadow's worth of butterflies, and it includes standard mesh sizes plus Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and TMP versions. I had a long and somewhat bizarre day, some intense family history was discussed with me that I was unaware of until tonight and I'm still reeling. Nothing scandalous, no juicy gossip, just things that happened way before I was born that shocked me to hear. I am just glad things worked out for the best in the long run. I do feel like telling all of you to go hug your oldest living relative while you still can, but I'm trying not to get too carried away ;) Suggesting hugs is never a bad thing though. Hiya everyone! My blog post might not make much sense at first glance, but it is just to touch on the two main sources of tonight's featured items, the Twisted Hunt and the Rally To Rescue event. As I mentioned yesterday, the Twisted Hunt is billed as the hardest hunt in SL and will have you searching for green spinning cubes. The theme for spring 2017 is Infinity and the color is multi-green so there are a lot of interpretations of those among the prizes, which run the gamut from clothing (male and female) to accessories to some really fun home decor and more. We are one week into Rally To Rescue, and it runs until the 20th of the month so you have time still to visit and help out those animals who need our protection. I will never understand how people can be so heartless about companion animals, but grateful that the majority of us do care and want what's best for them. All proceeds from the many items for sale at the event are being donated to non-profit, no-kill volunteer animal rescue organizations, and more information can be found at kiosks at the event. Are you ready to get physical? I sure am in this Twisted prize from [AMBI] called Twisted Ascension Sports Set. It is worth noting that there is a male prize included from Horr Menswear of sneakers which every guy could use for those casual times. The outfit you see includes the shorts and layered top, each in standard mesh sizes plus versions for Curvy, Fine, Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, Physique, Maitreya, and TMP bodies. I was quite taken with the infinity symbol on the shorts, and the fun but still practical styling of the layers of the tank tops. Speaking of infinity symbols, did you catch the flash of green on the nape of my neck? That is one of the three versions of the prize from Deluxe Body Factory, which I am about to show you in more detail.
This shimmery tattoo set is the prize from Deluxe Body Factory, their Infinity Omega Tattoos in green, and they are each, you guessed it, an Omega applier for most mesh bodies. From top to bottom we have Butterfly, Love, and Symbol so you can choose the one you prefer at any given time. On a personal note, in RL I have a gorgeous safety pin on my coat with an infinity symbol and the word love that looks a lot like the center image but no butterflies, so I am partial to that one. When people notice it and comment, I tell them it isn't about politics for me, it's about love, so the pin reflects that. I apologize that the image seems to have saved at a smaller size than normal, and hope you can still see the beautiful tattoos well.
More fresh green, and another infinity symbol, but this time it is a snake which I believe is a symbol from Greek mythology. *googles quickly* Yes, it is called an Ouroboros and either a dragon or serpent eating its own tail with many meanings throughout history. Just find that tricky little cube at Syren's Song to claim their Twisted Infinity dress in standard sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP versions. The short sleeves are great for spring, and it is short enough to be used as either a mini dress or a long tunic to wear over some simple leggings or capris. That shade of green is really striking!

Long emotional day, I am wishing I had napped and not much looking forward to my chiropractor appointment tomorrow afternoon. I will feel better after of course, just the hassle of going out and any temporary discomfort from the treatment is making me wish it were over already.
