Gifts for SLMB Group

 Hiya everyone! Tonight is related to last night's post but not really a continuation, as instead of visiting the SLMB Group event, I decided to visit some of the participating designers' stores and share the group gifts available at each. The SLMB or ^^SL Mesh Body group has a small $9L fee to join, but staying in the group is well worth it as I'm happy to show you :) 

My first visit of the evening was Alma Miranda, where I claimed their lovely Chinese Dress gift. It has a high notched collar, long sleeves, and a fluttery short skirt, all with fantastic pattern of clouds being blown about by gentle winds. The gift includes sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. 

The August group gift from Delicatt Couture is called Aida mini dress - Gothic texture, and it's giving me early Halloween vibes :) This flirty mini dress has a deeply draped top and plunging back with crossed straps, but the main event seems to be the sheer midriff with cobwebs above silhouettes of spooky trees. There are Altamura, eBody Curvy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP sizes included, as well as a HUD with 8 colors to tint the background and cobwebs. 

I can never seem to resist a well-textured animal print, so the MD Bodysuit "Kenza" - Leo/White GG from Mu-Shi Doll is right up my alley. It fits Freya, Isis, Kupra, Bimbo, Low, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. The high collar and built in belt are terrific details, just like that cleavage-baring opening all the way down to the waist!

Next I headed to the W.G STORE where I found their generous Gamora Dress gift for SLMB. Its top is daringly wrapped and the skirt forms a V in the front, while showing off a cheeky rear view :) There are Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh body sizes, along with a HUD that offers 10 color options. 

For my final look of the evening, I visited V8 Underground and their bounty of gifts for many different groups. The treat for SLMB is their **CONSTANCE MANSHUL GREY ROMPER**, a layered one piece outfit in sizing for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. The main material looks soft like a sweatshirt, with a white tank top adorned with a skull image on the front, and a matching white belt built in that is just below the natural waistline. They've always been so generous, and I appreciate all of their gifts just as I do everyone who offers us free goodies like this.

It was a quiet day which is fine with me :) I've got some exploring to do in SL later, as I am always following leads on gifts and bargains but lately I can only teleport about 4 or 5 times before crashing. That started with the new PBR compatible Firestorm, so I am just gritting my teeth and hoping they figure out how to remedy that quickly. I went from crashing about once a month to multiple times a day, and nothing about my PC or internet connection changed. Yes There's More

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is another opportunity for me to share some of the fantastic Womenstuff Hunt prizes, over 100 that are yours for free with the paid membership ($50L) to the Womenstuff group. That works out to less than half a linden dollar per prize, and that isn't even considering the many stores that have gifts for the group out all the time :) I'd already been a member of the group for several years, so I'm really glad I held onto that membership! The 'Stuff Lounge has a HUD available to group members that will guide you with photos, hints, and even teleporting you to each location if you wish. If not, it'll distribute a landmark for each stop if you click the pushpin icon. We have until the end of the month to find all the pretty red bags which are squared with circular gold handles up top. We can also use the FabFree spreadsheet to help us, so many thanks to Porta who organized that handy tool! 

My first look of the evening is the AXE-OUTFIT Grace, a striking casual top and pants pairing that I've already worn a few times since claiming ;) The sequined strapless top and shiny plaid pants are each provided in Belleza Classic, Belleza Curvy, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Juicy mesh body sizes. Did you notice the long slits on the ankles? Normally I wouldn't think of sequins and plaid as a typical combination, but this look made a believer out of me! I think the muted color palette helps with that too, something else I don't usually gravitate towards in the summer but again it won me over.

Next, I changed into the Fatal Fashion - Outfit 427 - PURPLE prize, which I noticed the FabFree spreadsheet indicated was the wrong landmark, but I found it there with no trouble. I even double checked this morning :) So the top, skirt, and thigh high boots are all included here, and will each fit Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. Also included are our earrings and studded bracelets for each wrist, so we can accessorize from head (ears) to toe! The only thing I'll add is some panties, since the skirt is rather short and most of the places I go would frown upon that kind of flashing ;)

V-Twins has a generous prize for us too, their rugged Sakara Complete Outfit. The tube top reads "I'm a Biker Born to Ride", and looks great with the shredded miniskirt and panties, as well as laced up boots. All of these pieces are provided in Kupra, Legacy, Nerido, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Juicy Boobs sizing, with a handy HUD that offers 12 colors each for the top, panties, skirt, straps on the skirt, shoes, and metals on the shoes. The panties are definitely intended to show through, and having so many color options is terrific :) Just click the various tabs on the HUD to see the colors for each part, easy and fun.

Clouds on a bright blue background like this have such a different feeling than nighttime darker blue ones or stormy versions with added raindrops or lightning, and this would be my preference for the coming weekend.

My final look of the evening is our W.G STORE - Evita Set prize. This versatile outfit is comprised of halter top with fluttery trim, and skirt with built in V band that almost looks like panties layered beneath. Each of these are designed for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Juicy mesh bodies, with a HUD that has an impressive 60 options each for top, skirt, and waist. There are 40 patterns and 20 solids I believe in each set of buttons, so that is an impressive number of ways we can combine things :) I certainly look like I was in a tropical mood here, don't you think?

Part of me keeps thinking it's Friday, and another part was leaning towards it being Wednesday...my brain is still a whirlwind. I took a half dose of the new medication tonight instead of the full, and I still feel a very small amount of the side effects (mostly jittery or shaky) but much less than last night which is a good sign. After a few days at the lower dose, if I feel comfortable, I'll bump it up to the full pill (they have score lines, so I used a pill cutter) and see how it goes. I'm doing okay and not dismissing it after one iffy evening :) If it were anything serious or potentially indicative of an allergic reaction, that would be a different matter and I would be in touch with the doctor or pharmacy immediately. Otherwise, this looks to be a good weekend ahead since I have a pleasant houseguest who just arrived a few moments ago and will be here until Sunday evening. It's a casual visit, no major plans other than enjoying each other's company, and I am pleased with that. I hope you're all having a nice day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

MLM Frees&Offers Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post brings lots of gifts for the MLM Free&Offers group, a multi-designer group that has a tiny $5L fee to join. This encourages people to stay in it and protects us from spammers and scammers, so I don't mind it in the least :) There are lots of talented designers who use the group to keep us informed of their new releases and sales, so we benefit from the info as well as those who offer gifts for their visitors wearing the group tag.

My first stop of the evening was [ConTrato] where I claimed their beautiful Idris Dress. It has a stunning golden halter neckline that doubles as a statement necklace, then the mini dress hugs our curves in sleek satin. There are sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, along with a HUD that offers 5 texture options. The only non-solid hue is the black with white polka dots I'm enjoying on the right above. 

I also added some vibrant color to my summer wardrobe with the LUCILLE SET by BA Store GIFT from Black Angel Store. The strapless top and high waisted miniskirt both fit Kupra, Legacy, Nerido, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, Juicy, and Mounds mesh bodies. I really like the way the top forms a triangle pointing down just past the waist, with similarly angular neckline that draws attention to the cleavage. 

A new favorite outfit for when I'm feeling casual and sassy is the W.G STORE - Florence Set seen here :) Its tank top and denim shorts, each trimmed in black fishnet, are each provided in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Bimbo, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, with a HUD that has 10 color choices for the top and 8 for the shorts. The distressed look of the shorts is such a fun look for denim, and there is something so playful about the crossed straps in the back of the tank top.

Just right click the vendor and pay $1L, which will be automatically refunded while the gift is delivered so it is still free :) The top and pants work perfectly together, and each fit eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. There is also a HUD with 15 color selections, all of which tint the whole outfit at once. I must admit I was pleased to see the zipper on the back of the pants, because can you imagine having to lace yourself into this every time you wear it? ;) That's just good attention to details in the design, and I do appreciate that.

My final look of the evening simply captivated me with that adorable print of pairs of birds snuggling :) It is our ..YIA.. Gaia Jumpsuit BIRDIES (GIFT) and includes sizing for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. There is also a HUD for the small decoration (flower?) at the peak of the neckline, with 20 colors so you can add a pop of contrast or match it to the purple or pink colors of the fabric. Even the back is flirty with those straps, so this made me very happy for lots of reasons :) Combining birds with my 2 favorite colors was certainly the start though. 

I feel like I'm just going to melt into a puddle on the floor under my desk here, lol, and we haven't even reached the peak of the heatwave yet. That would be Friday through Sunday, so we have a really steamy weekend ahead. I didn't go out today because of the heat and not feeling well, and I was fortunate that my new doctor actually responded to my question (about the new medication) really quickly. We are staying with the lower dose for now and will discuss in the near future. If I can't tolerate a therapeutic dose, it may not be the right fit for me, but there are other options so I am not too discouraged. That is pretty much what I told her almost word for word. In SL news, I see that Firestorm has updated for PBR but I am not ready to tackle that quite yet, however I know that it will be exciting news for many :) I hope you're all having a lovely day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

SL Frees and Offers

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're exploring stores who are part of the SLF&O or Second Life Frees & Offers group, which is free to join. The name explains the group fairly well, as a source of information on sales, new releases, special offers, and of course gifts :) Just have your group tag active and stop by any of their stores, look for the  red and white SLFO logo sign, and enjoy the gift if there is one. I am a huge fan of these multi-designer groups and have learned a great deal from their notices and inworld chats over the years.

My first look of the evening is our Carol's Store F&O Gift, a simply named halter dress with beautiful floral pattern. There are sizes for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Momma, and Reborn mesh bodies provided via HUD. I'm always drawn to halter style dresses or tops for some reason, and the ruching on this one just adds an extra flirty touch.

.:Bad Rabbit:. has a lovely gift for us called Metalli Dress Peach-Pink. There is something about a strapless dress, and the crinkled satin texture is so fun! In sizes for Altamura, Freya, Isis, eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Kupra Bimbo, Low, Original, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Signature, Slink Hourglass, Star, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Tonic Minim mesh bodies, the gift also includes a HUD with both colors shown here. This gift is on the wall of group gifts, way up top above their store's group (not free to join) by the SLFO sign and with a few other multi-designer group gifts.

I couldn't decide if this dress is meant to be leather or latex, so I chose a color that would represent each :) This is our W.G STORE - Selesty Dress gift, and the W.G stands for WildGirl. There are Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn sizes provided, along with a HUD that offers 10 colors and 4 metals for the clasps on the back of the straps. Both the style and the sheen caught my attention, and the dress looks sizzling hot in every single color option!

Next stop is Telsiope's Couture, where their Manila dress can be found upstairs with lots of other generous goodies for various groups. The pattern on the fabric really caught my eye, as I couldn't decide if it looked embossed or embroidered at first glance. The long sleeves, deep neckline, and short hem all add up to a sexy look for chilly weather like I have right now in RL :) This gift consists of Belleza Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Erika, Khara, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Peach, Prima, Prima Petite, and Reborn mesh body sizing.

My final look for this evening can be found at V8 Underground, and it's called **EMMA LESMY PURPLE RISQUE STYLE COMPLET OUTFIT**. They are another designer who generously offer gifts for many different groups and rotate them fairly regularly, as they were all Christmas themed the last time I checked which was quite recent. Enchanting Emma here includes the bodysuit, belt, and boots, each in Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Kupra Bimbo, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh body sizes. The chunky platform boots have a retro feeling to me, yet somehow modernized, which is hard to explain but I'm here for it!

I'm trying to refrain from ranting about the weather, but the farmers market already canceled for this coming Saturday because of another storm headed this way, so I'm not a happy camper. We got about 3" of snow overnight, and the temperatures are plunging (it's 14 degrees here now, yes that's F so below freezing) for about a week with snow again on Friday. That means no dinner with my parents on Friday either, so I'll need to come up with alternate food plans pretty quickly. The Saturday market is where much of my food usually comes from, so that's a problem. I will continue to check my email to make sure my therapy video session doesn't get postponed too, just trying to prepare for any possibility.
