Hiya everyone! For tonight's blog I wanted to find some free looks either for summer or year round wear, and naturally the FabFree group came to mind. The inworld group for the Fabulously Free in SL blog, their group tag (free to join) entitles us to gifts from many of their participating designers. The blog is always a great source of information on bargains and freebies too, I never miss a post and have been a loyal reader for nearly all of my second life. There are always plenty of generous gifts available, so I knew I could find some treats to show you :)
This is our group gift from Snowpaws called Colette Blouse & Skirt Outfit - Miu Fern. Each piece comes in a fitted size plus Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique versions for a great fit, and the colors are subtle so you can accessorize with bright colors for contrast or go neutral to match. Just click the box on the floor to claim it, with your FabFree group tag active.
Next I headed to Brandy's Boutique, where upstairs we can find several group gifts including this BB Sakura Silk Kimono Coral for FabFree. The kimono dress comes in fitmesh standard sizes plus Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions, and there is a HUD provided so you can choose if you want the back bow to be solid black or in the patterned fabric as shown on the right. The shoes are included too, in sizes for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink High. To claim this one, please have your tag active and you'll need to pay the sign $1L but it will be immediately refunded. Some vendor systems just seem to need to do that to create a record of the 'sale'.
Uncharted has their alluring Dress 8 - Red as their gift for the FabFree group, and it is a very flirty style with that plunging neckline and slits at each thigh. The dress is provided in sizes for eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. In the middle of the store there are displays of boxes with various group logos on them, so just find the rainbow striped FabFree logo to claim this beauty.
I also visited Alias! where I picked up this outfit called Maple w/Bleach Blue Jeans. It comes with the top and capris each in standard mesh sizes as well as Eve Pulpy, Eve Slim, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions, with a HUD for the top to tint it in any color via RGB wheel. The shoes you see are included too, for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink High feet. From the landing area you will want to head west to find this store by the way, just a handy tip.
For my final look of the evening, we have the FabFree group gift from AsHmOoT called SW CoLL 3 StRipes Bikini, a fun look with multiple straps on the top and pretty watercolor shades. It comes in system layers plus appliers for Maitreya and Omega, so it is suitable for just about any mesh body or classic avatar.

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have another variety for you, from hunt prizes to group gifts to Midnight Mania prizes. The hunt is the Cute & Curvy 2 Hunt, a dollarbie gridwide hunt with a great array of participating designers who have hidden terrific prizes in their tiny lollipop hunt objects. Just follow the hints, find the sweet treat, pay it a linden, and you've got yourself a very inexpensive addition to your wardrobe. The group gifts I mentioned are a couple more for Fabulously Free in SL, FabFree for short, and they have a whole list of group gifts here. I have shown some before, and am delighted to share a couple more tonight.
First we have a hunt prize from Lady Dragon's Designs, their (CnC) Ladies Outfit which consists of the B&W Poka Bibs pants, Bikini, and Sassy Top. The pants have standard sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Physique, and Hourglass versions, while the tops each come in Hourglass, Maitreya, Slink, and Toxic sizes only. I love the variety, and I'll bet those pants would look just as cute with a plain white or black crop top, tank, or simple tee of your choosing as well.
One of the fun FabFree group gifts can be found at Pretty Kitty Designs, just wear your group tag (FabFree is free to join as always) and you will find this Victoria V3 outfit in a bag on the counter. The top and pants each come in 8 sizes (standard, Belleza, Maitreya, Slink) and as you can see, they each have eye-catching details in monochrome.
Remember the last time I blogged FabFree group gifts, and I had found that wonderful feathery corset outfit at Glitter? Well it seems there is another gift there too, the Angel Corset is still there but we can also claim a more casual classy look. Here you can see their DORA mesh outfit in Beig, top and leggings each in standard mesh sizes. From the landing spot, head down to the far end of the courtyard and you will find the main Glitter store, go in and turn right and there is a wall of gifts for many groups including their own. I only mention this since I was a bit lost the first time I visited :)
I have another case of "remember when" for all of you...I had posted a gift from Snowpaws for the FabFree group, then that very evening they changed out their gift which I did not discover until I published my post. I still feel badly about that case of poor timing, but I hope seeing this gorgeous Segalle Halter Dress in Blue Flower can make up for that :) This is the new gift from Snowpaws, and is a beautiful way to accentuate your curves in 5 standard and 5 fitmesh sizes. It looks like shimmery satin, just begging to be touched.
DanemarkZ has a treat for all of us, a pair of Midnight Mania boards that do not require a group tag to click and they have a very reasonable target to help them lock down easily. One of the prizes is proudly on display here, their Princess Lingerie #04 in system layers and an Omega HUD. The strapless bra and bikini panties have sweet polka dots and a hint of lace at the edges, and a couple of well placed bows as a finishing touch.
Nail note of the night: the other Midnight Mania board at DanemarkZ has their sexy DMZ Ten Shades of Nailpolish Pack, also with a target of just 20 clicks, and I wanted to share a closer look but SL would not cooperate. I noticed close up that when I applied the nail polish, my Slink nail would partly disappear like there is an alpha issue happening, tried re-wearing the hands themselves and changing nail styles (on/off, stiletto, medium, etc) but I could only see them normally with a default polishing from the Slink HUD itself. Relogged completely, no improvement, so I will try again tomorrow. There are 10 designs to choose from, shades of blues and greys either solid gloss or a subtle design that reminded me of marble or concrete, and there is even a choice of black with silver chains draped across the nail.
I am starting to think my mood for this week can be summed up with a question: is it nap time yet? ;) I think feeling tired and drained is becoming a mood since it is seeping into my outlook on things. It will be okay, life is generally good, I will always find reasons to smile. Designer Showcase is celebrating their 6th Anniversary with their current round, which runs until the end of January, and nearly every designer there is offering a gift for the VIP group members. The VIP group is free to join, and there are plenty of exclusive designs offered for sale along with the great free gifts. So why are you still here when you could be visiting Designer Showcase already? :) Oh right, because you would like to see a sneak peek of a few gifts, well I can provide those...
This sexy dress is our gift from KC (short for Kendrasy Creations) and is appropriately named Zebra Rose. It is provided in several sizes, including eBODY, Maitreya, Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique. My lovely collar style necklace is from PurpleMoon Creations, their PM Imani Necklace Designer Circle Edition. It looks amazing with this dress, but will pair wonderfully with your favorite outfits too.
Snowpaws has a terrific gift for us as well, their Segalle Halter Dress - OJ. I believe this was labeled as an original mesh creation, and I greatly enjoy both the halter style and the high slits on each side of the skirt. It comes in 5 standard and 5 fitmesh sizes, so you should be able to find a nice fit for your personal shape and body.
This dramatic, elegant gown is waiting for you at the {AnaMarkova} display at Designer Circle, their generous group gift called Amanda Rouge. It is provided in standard sizes along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, and Physique. This would be a fun opportunity to show off a subtle back tattoo since this gown would show it off and frame it in crimson.
Speaking of dramatic looks, this gift from Artizana certainly fits that description too! Meet their Kiasi (Shark) Dress + Mesh Appliers, which does include system layers and a TMP HUD plus a multi-HUD for Lolas, Phatazz, WowMeh, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. The mesh skirt panel comes in 5 standard sizes and 5 Slink sizes which might refer to being fitted mesh. If you have a visit to a club planned, I highly recommend this stunner.
If you have noticed my nails in these photos and were curious, have I got news for you...these are our gift from Entice awaiting at Designer Showcase. They are called Simple Life Nails and their HUD works for Maitreya, Slink, Omega, and Belleza so nails for just about every hand out there. There are 6 colors, each divided by a pale gold band with what looks to be beads across it, and the colors themselves have a slight marble look so there is a lot going on in these beauties. The black got a lot of use for this post, and I am particularly fond of both shades of purple too.
Another busy day, about to kick off a busy weekend, but I am hoping that it will be better than last weekend. For one thing, the weather doesn't appear ready to dump any snow on my head, LOL, and I am still enjoying the extra chances to spend time with family. I realized it had been several weeks since I shared any group gifts from the FabFree (that's short for Fabulously Free in SL) group and I had noticed several new gifts being posted lately. Therefore I decided it was time :) There is a list on their blog of the various designers and their gifts, but because I didn't stay on top of going regularly to pick things up, I discovered a few no longer available and even a store or two who have moved. There are so many generous gifts to discover, I hope you enjoy the selection as much as I do. The group is free to join, and you can learn about so many freebies and bargains throughout SL from them.
My first look is this amazing gift from *Glitter*, their Angel Corset With Feathers Tail in Nude, which also includes a matching pair of mesh panties. There are standard mesh sizes for each, and the color has a lovely pink tint so it would stand out against most skin tones really well. Those feathers, the fringe in the front, the lacing and bow in the back, such details! This could be very handy if you visit or work in a club with theme nights, as I did once upon a time in my SL youth ;) It was probably 2009 or so, there was dancing and a great DJ, and we had themes each night so I had a lot of fun choosing costumes from my lucky chair prize collections and such. Fond memories.
Head over to [satus Inc] and you can claim this terrific free gift for the FabFree group, just wear your tag and click the board and you will receive their Isla Cutout Flare Dress in Green. Snowpaws is offering this stunning Paige Dress in Two Tone Blue for us lucky FabFree members. They have moved since the list was compiled, but a quick search landed me in their new location where I gladly collected this beautiful dress in standard mesh sizes. The deep colors made me think of the ocean, probably helped by the satiny texture.

I also visited Entice in my travels, where I clicked their Midnight Mania boards (a good habit to get into because those prizes are always terrific!) and claimed the current FabFree gift, their Blank Space Dress - Magenta. The sparkles in the texture make me wonder if the creator was referring to outer space and stars a tiny bit in the name, but yes I realize it's probably named for the song. This comes in standard sizes, and the low slung belt is built in. Lovely as always :)
Hello Dave has 3 generous gifts for FabFree members, three different takes on a subtle color palette of 5 pastels. On the left side (my right hand) you can see the nails I wore in all the photos above, Fab Free Cuticle Glitz, with the tiny line of silver at each cuticle. On the right side, those are the 5 shades from Fab Free Fairy French which has a nice gloss and a soft wash from white tips to pastel bases. I love her manicures and these are no exception. Each HUD is compatible with Omega as well as Slink.

Hiya everyone! As you can see tonight, I am busy in the kitchen of my new SL home, and so grateful to Free Dove for being a one-stop shop for generous gifts from so many designers from all over the grid. I shared some of the gifts I picked out yesterday, and there were plenty more to have fun with tonight as well.
The turkey is in the oven, and I am nervously awaiting my guests so first I am trying on this adorable dress from Vintage Touch called Kohala Summer Dress in Bluebell which comes in standard mesh sizes. Now the aisles at Free Dove have signs above them so you know what to find in each section, and the dress was in the Womens Clothing section but the matching shoes for Slink Mid feet are found in the Womens Shoes area. They are Kohala Strappy Sandals in Bluebell, and made me feel very pulled together with coordinated shoes in that soothing blue shade.
Then I started worrying that maybe the dress wasn't quite formal enough, so I switched to this lovely gift from Snowpaws, their Keelie Mesh Gown in violet. The fabric looks so soft to the touch, and the belt is loose enough that I am not afraid of overindulging. There are 5 standard mesh sizes to be found in this sweet gift. Speaking of sweet, that pumpkin pie smells delicious...
I keep having to open the oven and it made it so hot in the kitchen, which led me to another idea...a shorter dress! Serendipity has an adorable frock called Lacey Dress Black which comes in standard sizes plus Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique sizes so I was ready again in a snap. Just don't tell Xan that I swiped a taste of his potatoes au gratin, I simply couldn't wait!
I was still feeling too hot, and then I remembered this adorable skirt set I picked up at Free Dove by Baby Monkey, their Flirt Top and Flared Skirt in Poppies. The pattern is a delicate floral in such lovely colors, and the style is so alluring. Now to check on the stuffing, guests will be here any second.
So what's a gal to do when all her guests show up dressed casually? Pick another terrific outfit she found at Free Dove and do another quick change, that's what! This is the H.W Mesh Jeans and Cropped Top from !!smesh, and it may be casual but it also has some pizazz. The teal crop top comes in standard mesh sizes plus a fitted version, and the high waisted jeans with their attached double belt are included in what I call the lucky 13 of sizes (5 classic, 5 fitted mesh, Belleza, Maitreya, Slink). I love the unique styling of the top, and the wrinkled cuffs of the jeans are shadowed perfectly. The jeans are very flattering to my curves, too!
While my SL thanksgiving adventure has come to an end, my RL one is about to begin in a mere 12 hours or so. It will be several courses over several hours, from Italian wedding soup and homemade spaghetti and meatballs to the actual turkey and sides, it's a family tradition that amazes people and quite possibly scares them ;) I even skipped mentioning a few courses there, just to save you all from them. The important thing is spending time with family though, even if we don't always see eye-to-eye there is always love and loyalty there. That is all I wish for you, too, time with people who care about you ♥. Hiya everyone! Tonight's lovely free gifts are all from different designers, but have one important thing in common- they are each a gift for the FabFree group. Bit of history, there used to be an inworld FabFree Headquarters that housed lots of gifts for all of us, but the group ownership went through some changes and the HQ was closed but fortunately the group remained open. I've been a member of their group and avid reader of their blog for as long as I can recall, and am really excited about this new chapter for them :) Many designers are offering gifts for people wearing the FabFree in SL group tag right in their store, and apparently there are more to come so stay tuned to their group/blog. Here are a few of the ones currently available, I am delighted to show them off!
This first sexy dress is our FabFree gift from #bubbles, their Karmyn Mauve Dress. This beauty comes in 6 fitmesh sizes which include a Slink Physique and Slink Physique Busty versions. The style is quite alluring, and I love the color choice.
If you're feeling retro, head on over to Eclectic Stars and you can pick up their Swingers dress in Atomic. With its full skirt and playful bow and collar, this dress is a treat in plenty of fitmesh sizes: standard, Belleza, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. Plenty of ways to show off the fun atomic design :)
Keep your FabFree group tag on and head to Luziefee, and you can enjoy this Joy asymmetric dress in Teal as a free gift. This comes in standard mesh sizes plus a deformer version, and just look at those cute patchwork appliqués! I am thinking for the chilly weather we could add a pair of tights or leggings beneath to keep our legs looking warm, which just adds to the versatility.
The lovely Rowena's Designs has an offering for the FabFree group as well, their delightful {RS} Thea Shirt & Shorts outfit. It is a single mesh piece, a long sleeve blouse with a tail, paired with leather shorts, all in what I call the lucky 13 of mesh sizes: 5 standard, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, and Physique. There is also a HUD that lets you choose from 6 colors for the top. Lots of variety and fun to be found here, and don't forget those lucky boards, midnight manias, and mini manias that all need slapping.
One last look of the night, this is our gift from Snowpaws and is called Amery Dress in Green. This sleek flared dress comes in standard sizes each for 2 versions, the second of which has added shine in advanced lighting and can be seen on the right. Very pretty either way, and such flattering colors to boot.
Nail note of the night: Hello Dave is offering 3 HUDs as FabFree gifts, tonight I have been wearing FabFree Fall 1 which offers 5 solid colors for Slink or Omega. I will show you the others in a future post, they're all too good to keep to myself!
I have been taking allergy medication that has been knocking me out the past few days, it feels like I've been hibernating and then when I am awake, I'm still pretty groggy. I hope I am still making sense while blogging :) Supposedly the effects wear off with regular use, so time will tell I guess. Hiya everyone! This morning I made a very enjoyable visit to the Enchantment event, whose current round is called The Yellow Brick Road and is also their anniversary round. This means lots of presents for all visitors, no group needed, just click all the pretty tiered cakes you can find. If you are a Wizard of Oz fan, you will appreciate the beauty of the build and the offerings for sale that match the theme so creatively. Even if you aren't a fan though, never fear as not all of the sales items or gifts are themed. There is a wonderful assortment here, and it is a true visual treat with the added bonus of free gifts to claim. Be sure to visit before August 30th when it will all disappear.
Aleutia has a beautiful gift out for us, their Sunset Gala gown in Amethyst. This lovely dress comes in what I call the lucky 13 of sizes: 5 standard, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. The gorgeous ring I am wearing is our gift from Air, their Lost Treasure Ring with its intricate gold filigree and large black stone.

It contains Doris in Black in several appliers (no system layers this time) for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, Slink, and TMP. The delicate lace and tiny bows are delightful touches. My necklace is a sweet treat from Lassitude & Ennui called There's No Place Like Home Necklace. The bright yellow gold holds a dainty rainbow hued reminder of something truly important, and as a necklace it does sit close to the heart.
Speaking of necklaces, I was just as excited to open the gift from Snowpaws and find these eye-catching If I Only Had a Heart Mixed Metal Necklaces inside. There are two versions included, and these will look great with all your favorite wardrobe pieces from mild to wild.
One last peek for the night, this is our Entice gift, the Yellow Brick Road Charm Bracelet. Several main characters are represented here, you can see the Cowardly Lion and Scarecrow etched in silver and even the ruby slippers to the left. I have always liked charm bracelets and items like this make me wish I still had one in RL :) Maybe I will have to fix that eventually, but for now I appreciate the SL ones I have even more.
You can tell when I have recently splurged on some $L for myself, LOL, as the first thing I tend to do is treat myself to new hairstyles. Yesterday and today I have been enjoying two of Truth Hair's newest releases, which tend to be one of my favorite indulgences. Hiya everyone! I have a few treats to share from the Steam XI Hunt: Realms of the Deep tonight, just keep in mind that the hunt ends when March does so you definitely need to hurry :) I appreciate having a wide variety of styles and genres in my inventory, and steampunk has been making more and more appearances lately. Here are a few looks that particularly caught my eye from the Steam XI hunt.
First we have the fully loaded gift from Destiny's Designs, who are #026 in the hunt path. This is their A Steampunk Winter Outfit, and includes the coat in 9 fitmesh sizes, the skirt (barely visible beneath the long coat) in 7 sizes, the bowler hat, the boots for default avatar feet, and the fur muff with built in hold pose. Winter may be gone in my part of the world, but it's always winter somewhere in SL :)
For more rich earth tones, head to #063 Snowpaws and find their hidden cog to claim this Aubrey Outfit. It includes the cropped overjacket, the overbust corset, and gathered skirt each in standard mesh sizes. My favorite feature is the huge bow on the back of the corset, in the same dashing pinstripes.
Prize #067 from Tayren's Fantasy Fashions is a very playful costume called Sailor's Girl. There are lots of components here, starting with the mesh dress in 5 sizes. Accessories include the hat, scarf, Victorian lace boots for default avi feet, sleeves, anchor necklace, the bow for the back, and system layer fishnet stockings. This is one of those great outfits that can be worn so many different ways, just by choosing which parts to add or omit. Fun fact, the male prize is a Sailor costume so you can roleplay if you want :)
Finally we have the prize from #082 COVETED! and it includes the Seducer trench coat in standard mesh sizes, system black leather pants with a TMP applier, Ropers boots for default avatar feet, and a dazzlingly decorated eyepatch with built in resize script. I hadn't seen anything quite like this, and am definitely impressed.
Nail note of the night: I went with the latest Hello Dave weekly group gift again, Barely There, as I wanted something understated but attractive. Definitely one of the most generous groups in SL, with terrific nails! Sorry, fangirl moment ;)
