SALTY is one of the many stores currently participating in the Stay at Home Club by offering a free gift, namely this Emma - Blue dress. The harness style halter and belts are so flattering to all shapes and sizes, and the color is simple yet elegant. No group is needed, just visit and claim it for free.
I also stopped by at BellaBee, where you will find this generous gift called Latex Dress Jolina. It comes in 4 colors (light pink on the left, red on the right, black, and white) each sized for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies. There is a bodylight provided too, which I suggest adding to really show off the shine of the material.
My final look of this evening features the Stay at Home Club gift from **Mistique** called Felicia print Pink. This fun bandana top is a long point in the front, tied in a pretty bow in the back, in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. The pattern is eye catching and I am fond of the color too :) I paired it with the Delizio gift found on the Marketplace that appears here on my blog fairly often, several colors in system/BOM layers along with appliers for Maitreya and Omega.
I actually left the house today, so that was something different ;) It certainly helps to have SL and other ways of keeping in touch with people online. As a matter of fact, we decided that instead of my going to visit my grandmother for Easter, my parents (who will be there anyway to get groceries for her and her caretaker) will get us set up on facetime so a virtual visit :) Apparently she is aware that something bad is going on and people are sick, despite the residual effects of the stroke affecting her memory somewhat, but she watches television as entertainment so I'm sure she saw commercials and news breaks. Now that they want us to wear masks (after saying for weeks that they won't help) I ordered some from a friend from my penpal hobby days (mid-late 90s!) to add me to her growing list of orders. They are double layered and have a pouch for filters so I think I'll be using coffee filters in there, and they are washable so I can reuse them as long as necessary. We live in strange times, but it seems we just need to adapt and do whatever it takes to get used to a new normal. The only plans I have for the next several days involve possibly walking outside a bit to get fresh air, and mostly staying right here playing Animal Crossing and spending time in SL with Xan. Hiya everyone! Tonight I have more group gifts to share from the Welcome Spring event. It is a 35L Sunday event, so the group you need to join (for free) is the 35L Sunday VIP group, and that tag lets you click all the gift boxes at each display to claim these generous gifts. Don't let the "Sunday" part fool you, we have until the 31st of March to visit and pick up our gifts while enjoying $35L deals from each designer plus other deeply discounted selections. The designers clearly took this opportunity to show us how the new season can be reflected in their products, whether those are fashion or home decor or whatever creative endeavors they prefer. With the gifts I am sharing, I am focused on fashion as usual :)
For my first look, I am feeling flirty in the bandana top from **Mistique** called Felicia Black. It is tied in the back with full coverage in the front, a style I find to be elegant in its simplicity. The gift includes Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. My jeans here are the Delizio marketplace freebie I wear here quite often, and that generous gift includes several colors in system/BOM layers plus Maitreya and Omega appliers. I am wearing the Light Blue system layer with my BOM compatible Maitreya body here and in the next photo.
Those jeans came in handy here too, as I kept them on to slide into the gift from Dore Papillon Boutique. Their DPB Deborah Blouse - White & Peach 1 comes in a Maitreya size, and just as the name says it has white trim against a lovely pastel peach shade. I think this would look very pretty with various styles of skirt, or maybe you might prefer some sort of leggings or tights beneath.
Next I was delighted to try on the gift from {Melt} called Posie Dress, a short tank dress blooming with beautiful flowers. It is provided in sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. I think it's just short enough to double as a long top if you prefer, so it is up to you if you feel like wearing leggings or something beneath. I tend to get very mixy-matchy sometimes with wardrobe pieces like that.
I cannot decide how to describe this next gift, other than to declare it strikingly beautiful! This is the Camila Groupgift from [EvelineInTheBox], and it has a deep navel-baring V neckline trimmed in lace, with an uneven hemline and vibrant pastel rainbow gradient coloring. Is it meant to be a dress, a nightgown, a beach coverup, or a flowing blouse? I would say that is up to you to choose :) I might wear it most often in the spring or summer with capri jeans layered beneath, then in the summer atop a swimsuit or as is. The gift consists of sizing for Freya, Isis, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies.
I managed to turn my final photo of the evening into an abstract art project, LOL, in an effort to show you multiple designs from this thoughtful gift. My stiletto nails here are the Bento Nails Mesh Wet Shine - Fatpack from StunnerOriginals, with sizes for Maitreya and Slink hands. Just use your hands' HUD to hide their own nails, add the corresponding mesh nails from this folder, then add your HUD to choose from 12 gorgeous styles. All 10 nails will immediately wear the same selected design at once, which is why I got carried away trying to layer pieces of 3 images so you could see multiple water droplet-speckled options at once :) The pastel ombre looks perfect with that gift I showed in the prior photo, and there is a solid black with drops that is a fun neutral for your darker fashions.
I had such a terrible headache this evening that I wound up interrupting this blog post by lying down for about half an hour, which is very unusual for me to do. The good news is that it helped, so whatever is causing my frequent headaches will remain a mystery I suppose. This headache was almost like a migraine (not something I get but family members have so I've seen them second hand) in that I was sensitive to sounds, although not to light, so again mysterious. *shrug* I am glad to be back and feeling okay, and my plan is to focus on any small positives I can find :) I follow dozens of instagram and twitter accounts for cute animals, so I am able to soothe myself with those videos and pictures with a few quick clicks. I am also really grateful to Xan for his supportive nature and ability to listen to my worries without ever being dismissive. He helps me refocus on healthier things, and I love him for it ♥. We are both worried for older family members, so we understand those impulses in each other. I know most of you are probably feeling the strain as well, and you're all in my thoughts and best wishes. Hiya everyone! Tonight I am excited to share some prizes from the Womenstuff Hunt 2018, a gridwide event throughout the month of November. There are small red and white t-shirts hidden in well over 100 stores, they used to be mostly solid red but have had a makeover :) There is a photo of the hunt object on the hunt website, where you will also find SLurls and hints and even information on if the prizes are $0L or $1L, which is the designers' discretion. It is a huge hunt and well organized, so I enjoy it every year.
My first look of the evening is the Kaithleen's Peeka Dress - Nude, their free hunt prize. It comes in sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. The provided HUD offers plenty of options: 4 metals for the zipper, 8 colors for the bra (plus off/on buttons), 8 colors for the skirt, and 2 colors to choose from for the panties beneath which can also be hidden with the HUD. My suggestion is to add the HUD and play around with all the various choices to see how you are inspired to wear this look.
GLITTER has a beautiful gift for us too, for finding their hidden t-shirt for just one linden. It's called ADELE Fitmesh Ruffle Dress Plum, and includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies. The slightly asymmetrical ruffle has delicate embroidery on it, and the mini dress looks like it is flecked with glitter just like the name of the store.
Summer never has to end in SL, one of the benefits of a virtual world, and if you plan on visiting a tropical sim anytime soon I would like to suggest you pack the prize from Tiar in your luggage ;) It is a free gift of a red swimsuit, very strappy and playful, in sizes for standard S, standard L, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. Now you just need sunscreen and a cool drink when you arrive at your destination.
This elegant strapless gown is our free prize from **Mistique** named Leala Black. It includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Sofia which is a new one to me. The skirt has a beautiful flow to it, and the white floral pattern on the bodice is a special touch.
My final look of the night is the gorgeous MARIPOSA gift called ~m~ WS 2018 Hunt Sequin Cocktail Dress. It is $1L when you find their hidden shirt, and includes fitmesh XS, M, L, plus eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. There are also lights for face and body, which are crucial for providing the sparkle of this materials-enabled dress. There are notecards provided in the folder with instructions to make sure you have your advanced lighting turned on, and explaining why it is needed. Without the body light, the dress looked almost solid purple, so it really does make a difference :) I love the pleated layers of the skirt too, they shine beautifully.
It was an exhausting day, as the wind caused another power outage this afternoon, and I was busy running around for several hours longer than expected. I am back with some lovely gifts you can find at the Vintage Gacha Fair, no group needed just click the cute Chinese take out style boxes at each display and claim a whole host of generous rewards from clothing and accessories to decor for your home. The Vintage Gacha fair is a great idea, older gachas that have appeared at other events and are being brought out so you can have another chance (or your first chance) to win that amazing prize you missed out on before. The boxes you are looking for with your gifts have such cute little faces on them, it makes it even more fun to find them all. The Vintage Gacha Fair only lasts until the 29th (my RL birthday) so you will want to hurry.
I love the style of this dress from Mistique, called Gurli Pink, which certainly lives up to its descriptive name. There is a single size included which is for Maitreya, but with the use of alpha layers you could most likely wear this on a non-Maitreya (including classic) body. I added a stunning circlet from Bite & Claw, their Ionna Circlet in Black, which includes a resize script so you can fit it to any brow. The style is lovely with its wrapped or woven look.
More accessories and another beautiful dress...the dresses are our gift from .Viki. called Sansa Dress - Fur and they are provided in standard sizes for each of 3 colors: silver (left), light brown (right), and dark brown. They deserved some fine jewelry of course, so I added the pair of OXIDE Eani Armbands which come with a HUD that lets you resize them and choose from 4 colors for the metal as well as 4 gem colors. I am also happily wearing one of the gifts from +Fallen Gods Inc.+ which is actually #01 of four, their Escapade Necklace in Gold. One of the other gifts contains the same in silver, while the others have system layers of fantasy style makeups/tattoos. So generous!
There are people in my RL who see Hello Kitty and immediately think of me, so this gift from Glamorous Sin brought an instant smile to my face. It is called Mesh Off Shoulder Kitten Brown, comes in standard sizes, and is one of two gifts they offer at Vintage Gacha Fair. My amazing choker is waiting for you in the takeout box on the Junbug display, named Dragonfly Choker Beryl. There is a built in resize script which is always handy (you can usually delete them when you're finished with them to avoid potential lag) and I am enamored of the colors swirled into the gemstone beneath our beautiful winged friend.
Another generous gift I am pleased to share is from Belle Epoque, Edie in Lavender with pockets. This cutie comes in a single size, which was not a problem for me but you may need to use the alpha system for your mesh body or find a compatible system alpha layer if you are using the classic avatar body. I paired this with our gift from Eliavah called Tevinter Necklace in Rose Quartz, with delicately carved leaves and squared spacer beads in a charming shade of pink. Jewelry has the remarkable ability to take an outfit from casual to dressy, serious to playful, or simply add an extra special touch to an already beautiful look.
I apologize for my lack of blog yesterday, I had some issues logging in and less time to try repeatedly because I was preparing for a busy day today. There are very special people in my life (my godparents and their son who was one of my best friends growing up) that due to general life circumstances, we only see once a year and today was that splendid day :) We had a delicious dinner at my parents' house, exchanged Christmas gifts finally LOL, and best of all got to enjoy great conversations with many hugs. It was a wonderful day for sure, and I am genuinely lucky to have them in my life. I certainly hope you have had a good day/evening as well, magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Hiya everyone! I can't believe I almost missed the opportunity to visit the Vintage Gacha Fair this round since it ends on the 20th (sooner than I had realized) but I am making sure that all of you are aware so you can visit in its remaining few days. There are gifts out from just about every vendor, some designers even have multiple displays so you can wind up with more than one gift from some of them. The gifts are set out in little Chinese takeout style boxes with kawaii faces on them, and are not hard to find. The idea of the event is gachas from previous events, giving us another shot at popular older (vintage) prizes. I really enjoyed looking around and seeing what was available, some I recognized but others were new to me. This is their 10th round so it sounds like a popular idea, and there are items ranging from home decor to clothing and accessories, and much more.
Let's start things off with a sexy little number from Mistique called Dora Lilac. In our free gift you will find this in sizes for Classic, Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, Maitreya Lara, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique. They have lots of artful lacing to hold things together just right, and a soft linen texture. My jewelry is a gift from the Vintage Gacha Fair too, from Sweet Kajira and it includes the headpiece, choker, and arm band (my right arm, just realized my pose is mostly hiding it and I apologize) which are named Petra collar cobre, Petra esclava cobre, and Petra tiara cobre. I will guess that cobre means copper, as the lovely metal used does look coppery to me and the words sound similar.
One of the designers with two different gifts at the Fair is Una, and they are the top and the skirt you see here. The adorable Candy Top is a single adjustable piece, chocolate cups with icing and even a cherry on top of the right cup. Delectable looking! The skirt is their Irregular Mesh Skirt in a whopping 7 standard type sizes, from XXS to XXL. It is longer in the back but not by much, and the soft ruffles look to have tiny pleats on them. The striking circlet I am wearing here is also a gift, from EvelineInTheBox and called Starling Headpiece Red. It has a resize script built in, and that ruby in the center is captivating.
This oh-so-soft looking outfit is from one of the FAIDA gifts at the fair, the name of the box and included LM indicate a store name of Whatz so it could be a subdivision or rebranding. This is called Whatz cookie black & bordeaux, and includes the top in 3 mesh sizes plus the pants in 5 mesh sizes. I advise caution as I seem to be having a bit of a nip slip, so this may work best as loungewear or at least not worn somewhere that would frown upon your breasts playing peekaboo ;) I'm sure you noticed my lovely jewelry as well, and the good news is that they are our gift from HopScotch. Their lovely Wavy Set includes two bracelets for each wrist, two rings for each wrist, the choker, and two septum rings. You can see from the inset that the septum ring is quite delicate and subtle, and the ring is on my thumb. I love the layer of silver between the gold, mixed metals have always appealed to me.
Our gift from LUAS is called NYMERIA PURPLE and is fully loaded. The top is resizeable mesh, while the skirt comes in 5 mesh sizes. The accessories included consist of bangles for the left and right hand and upper arms, headband, necklace, and matching belt. Included but not shown are a pair of sandals that looked to be for the default avatar feet. This is great for roleplay or any use you wish.
Sometimes I like to take a simply elegant black dress and jazz it up with terrific accessories, so I really enjoyed the opportunity from more Vintage Gacha Fair gifts. The gown is from Cosette called Paris and comes in standard mesh sizes, I had to go a bit larger than normal to avoid having to adjust my shape (the girls were out of control and busting out of the top and bottom of their cups!) with a very sexy side slit to show off your shapely leg. The circlet is from B&C called Ionna Circlet in Gold, and has a built in resize script for your convenience. The necklace is our gift from Velvet Whip, their Ginkgo Necklace Rose. I had a gold plated ginkgo leaf necklace as a teenager, sentimental attachment there, but the way these leaf stems curl around into the necklace itself and the adornment of the gorgeous gemstones, that is another level of beauty :)
My PC is being quirky and keeps setting the time a few minutes fast for no discernible reason, but other than that irritation I am doing pretty well. I hope today has been good to all of you, magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Hiya everyone! Tonight I am showing you some wonderful prizes from the Medieval Fantasy Hunt XVI, theme of Vampire Vs Demons (The Bloody Ones). This is a free gridwide hunt and you will be looking for bloody pentagrams (pentacle?) with a bat spreading its wings across it. The SLurls are all on the website rather than in the prizes, so you will want to have it open for reference. There is an example of the hunt object on each sign, which are hint givers as well. Many of the prizes are home decor, but as you will see I found a few wearable treasures as well.
This beautiful gown with separate sleeves and lovely choker are our prize from Beyond Persuasion designs. This is Juliet, and the gown comes in what I call the lucky 13 of mesh sizes (5 standard, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink) while the sleeves are standard mesh. The texture is such a rich, gorgeous fabric that I need to find a perfect occasion to wear this and show it off soon!
Mistique has a male prize and a female prize hiding in their pentacle, and I am actually showing you both here. The dress is called Clovia and comes in standard mesh sizes, with intriguing textures. Those eye-catching roses are not textures, look closely and you'll see those are 3D crafted from mesh and a really stunning effect. The bracelet is simply called Men's Bracelet, and I am offering a closer view of the charms adorning it. I admit I am not familiar with the design, but I am curious about it.
Another stunner in black and red can be found in the prize at Tayren's Fantasy Fashions. The female gift there is TFF Angel-Demon Female, guess what the male version is named? :) This consists of the toga in standard mesh sizes, the horns and separate thorn halo (I like them together because I'm amused by the saying about the horns only being there to hold up the halo!) and those amazing wings. Not seen are the tail that was swishing back and forth so decided to hide when I snapped the photo, and black hair with a system layer hairbase. I kept my own hair since there is the joke about gingers having no souls anyway.
This post just took an interesting turn, hehe, as I could not find a suitable way to share this amazing tattoo set without clothing hiding the details I wanted you to see. Instead I had to do a bit of censoring, I hope it covers enough. This is our prize from Fallen Gods Inc. named Thorns, and comes in system layers along with Omega HUDs in black or white/tintable, each 40% and 70% along with full 100% darkness. This is the 70% black shown. I didn't realize until too late that the tattoo extends to the face as well, I was just using the applier on my body for this photo. You can wear whichever areas you choose, this is versatile as well as beautiful.
They say the eyes are the windows to the soul, well I am enjoying some window dressing courtesy of La Boheme. These are their [LB Eyes] Spellcraft, and the prize consists of a generous 10 colors in system and mesh versions, and the mesh have an additional version with materials enabled. Up top we have Indigo Iris and Bistre, the middle you can see Sterling and Rackley, and on the bottom is Terra Cotta and Cadet Blue. Not shown but included are Beaver Earthy, Carolina Blue, Ginger, and Prussian Blue. If you look very closely, you will see a magic circle with runes and other symbols. They are certainly worth a close look.

Hiya everyone! I have some great dresses to share from the WOMENstuff Hunt, all of the prizes shown in tonight's post are free ones so you can look terrific on a budget. I hope you find something you like!
I've been wearing this lovely skirt and top quite a bit, it is the prize from Beautiful Dangerous #136 in the hunt. That little sliver of belly showing is so appealing! This comes in standard mesh sizes along with a fitted version, and the top and skirt are joined into one piece.
One great dress, one fun HUD, 4 different looks! This is prize #076 from SAKIDE (once known as Sassy Kitty Designs) and you can tell I am a huge fan of this one. The various texture choices are each a different color, along with the variety in the skirt segment with everything from ruffles (that is just a 2D texture on there even though it looks like it sprouted real ruffles!) to a fun Eiffel Tower print. The hardest part is choosing which one to wear.
This is such a cute outfit from Mistique. Its name is Blanche and it is prize #141, provided in standard mesh sizes. I love the gold trim, it dresses up a playful outfit nicely. I wish my avi didn't appear to be trying to show off a thigh gap in this photo, eeek, that is really not me.
Finally we have prize #135 from Moonstar, called Autumn Mist. This outfit includes a mesh dress, optional flexi skirt, necklace, and adorable matching Slink high shoes with awesome fringe and check out that chain around the heels! So much detail to appreciate here really, all while welcoming in Fall which should be here eventually ;) We have had another heat wave in my neck of the woods so autumn feels far away for now. But in SL it can be any season we prefer, anytime we choose, which is just a small part of the beauty.
Speaking of weather, there have been well over 24 hours full of thunderstorms and heavy rains so far here, so my mood is a bit gloomy as a result. I am hoping that no place I visit later in SL has rain, I am simply not in the mood to hear it from my headset and my window at the same time. Tomorrow will be a brighter day, and then I will see my best friend of 20+ years on Saturday, so there is plenty to look forward to and I'll be fine :) I hope you all are having a good day/evening, magpie hugs to each of you!!!
