FabFree Gifties

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I visited several FabFree in SL participating designers, randomly selected from their group gift listing. I'd noticed they had done a lot of updating there lately, and it felt like a sign for me to check out some of the older ones :) The group is free to join, and the blog is a fantastic source of information, so the pairing is just *chef's kiss* perfection! I am such a fangirl when it comes to them, LOL, with no intentions of ever hiding that fact ♥. These are older gifts so I can't guarantee that they won't be swapped out soon for new ones, which simply means hurry and enjoy.

First I visited b[ELLE] to claim their adorable 2509 Glory Halter Romper. As a denim loving girlie, I am so excited to show this fun jumpsuit with its collared halter neck, deep V to show off cleavage, and buttons down the front. There are sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies provided, all with flowers down each slender fitting pant leg. The distressed denim really is a great touch, a little lighter in all the right places.

We can find a really charming treat called Candy at the Nut & Squirrel store (formerly Telsiope's Couture) which you'll find by teleporting to the bargains area and walking up the stairs. Its top and skirt each come in Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes. There is also a HUD for each, with 20 colors for the top or skirt (depending on which HUD of course) and 20 for the attached hearts. Many of the skirt colors have a sheer texture, so I'm going to suggest adding your favorite panties for modesty :) 

Next stop, [satus Inc] to grab their lovely Valeska Sweater & Scallop Mini Skirt Beige gift. Both pieces have a subtle texture that either makes me think leather or suede, flattering on such a soft color. They each fit Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. It's one of those simply chic outfits that we can accessorize any way we wish, to dress it up or down.

I'm picking up good vibrations 🎵…yes, this outfit earwormed me ;) It is our GoodVibes HER GoodVibes Only Set, and there is a coordinated HIS look available as well. We start with the sparkly tunic top in sizing for Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh bodies, then we get to add the BOM leotard upper and lower portions and a BOM pair of panties in river rock color. The "Good Vibes Only" saying on the front is basically my outlook on SL, trying to keep my time inworld positive and cheerful.

My final look of the night is from ART & FASHION on their big wall of various groups' gifts. It is the AMORE OUTFIT, and inside you'll find the long gown and strappy boots each in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes. The right side of our gown is daringly open, and the front is embellished with a beautiful flower on the skirt beneath the image of two faces about to kiss. There's a hand beneath them, as one gently cups the other's chin, and the grey on black gives a smoky, romantic feeling. Since we can only see part of the faces, they could be literally anyone of any age, ethnicity or gender, so that adds a little mystery as well.

It has been a whirlwind here...yesterday I was out for a good chunk of the day, and it went decently but the way home was entirely spent on the phone with my parents discussing the following day (today). My dad had his cardiac ablation procedure done this morning in hopes of treating the a-fib, and fortunately it went very well. The hospital he went to specializes in cardiology, and the surgeon is highly trained and respected. My dad was feeling fine when we spoke this evening, not even the soreness they said to expect, so that is a huge relief ♥. It probably wouldn't surprise anyone that I was nervous, since being anxious is pretty much my middle name, lol, but I am deeply grateful for the folks who took such good care of my dad and for everyone who offered any of us emotional support or a sympathetic ear. Tomorrow is my usual phone call and gaming night with friends, which I really need :) I hope you're all having a beautiful day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Womenstuff Wonders

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have more prizes from the Womenstuff Hunt to share, all of which are hiding inside red t-shirts with white high heels on the front and the All 'stuff Hunt logo on the back, for $0L or $1L. The All 'stuff Hunt has a total of 5 themed paths with different colors for each shirt, and all that information is on their very helpful website :) That is also where you will find hints, landmarks, the price for each prize, and information on which prizes are exclusive creations just for this hunt. Spoiler alert, there are many and they are terrific! I have so many prizes to show you, as there are well over 100 stores (I have been busy hunting) and am quite impressed with them.

My first look is the $1L prize from b[ELLE] that includes their Tied Blouse and My Fave Jeans, both in a really funky retro fabric. Each piece is provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. 

BLASPHEMIC has an adventurous free prize waiting for us, called Psycho Dress. It is mostly sheer with a slight marbled pattern and "PSYCHO BUNNY" across the front in red, which matches the red trim and ruffle. Find their red t-shirt and you can claim this in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies.

If you are looking for a pretty dress with soft colors, be sure to pick up the prize from SnB Fashion. Their lovely Feng Dress comes in fitmesh standard sizes as well as eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions for mesh bodies. There is also a HUD included with 2 color choices, both shown above and both of which I adore. The style makes me happy too, flirty strapless with built in belt and gently flared skirt. 

I also found a great prize at !!smesh, their playful Anda Outfit. It consists of the cropped and tied striped tank top with coordinating tied mini skirt, each sized for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies. There is also a HUD with 3 colors for each so you can mix or match these summery shades. 

My final look of the evening is the generous free prize called TS-Agatha-Collection-SE-Ash, courtesy of Tori's Stylez. It starts with the dress which comes in versions with and without materials enabled, in sizes for eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. The studded shoes and matching add-on thighs are provided in Freya, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes. There is even a HUD included so you can adjust some colors, 5 metals and 5 shoe colors. On the left I am wearing the thigh add ons, but on the right I am wearing the shoes without, and either way this is a really great look!

Hiya everyone! Tonight I checked back in with the Stay at Home Club, who are still adding new gifts from many generous designers. There are tabs with different categories on their site, so just click what you are interested in and then click the picture of the gift to get the landmark. No group tag is needed and all gifts are free, even the ones whose vendor asks you to pay $1L because it is automatically refunded. This is something special to help brighten people's days during these rough times, and I appreciate it more than I can say. My title is simply one of the many songs I heard while working on this post, an 80s tune by Modern English. 

This gift from Deadly Deed Design is such a clever design, and there is a coordinated male outfit available too. The {DDD} Fabiola Dress Color Splash comes in sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. The straps are intricately styled, drawing extra attention to our cleavage and our pretty face :)

Their spring dress is provided in Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes, with a pattern of delicate cherry blossoms and various animal sketches. The pattern is repeated on the heels, which come in Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink high sizes. The style is beautiful, and it is so helpful having perfectly coordinated shoes for a dress or outfit.

The sweater here says "NEWBS" with the N crossed out in red and replaced with a B above, so BEWBS ;) The outfit looks comfy cozy, and I could really use those shorts in RL right about now as the weather outside gets warmer.

For my final look of the evening, I went to [Glitzz] and claimed their seductive Thalia Dress - White gift. It is a halter style with a lacy embroidered top and flowing mini skirt, whose soft material makes me feel like it could double as a (second) honeymoon ensemble. Confession: I am so relieved that I caught it from an angle that I didn't have to add modesty flowers to the image, nothing is clearly visible to make this adults only :) That wisp of a top is sheer though, make no mistake on that, so be careful where you wear this sexy slip dress.

It feels like about the billionth day of social distancing, lol, and like this year has already lasted for 42 months...lots of people have expressed that they feel like they are living the movie Groundhog Day with the same day repeating itself over and over. It is rough, but if it keeps the majority of people safe in the long run, it will be worth it when we get to look back someday while appreciating a new normal. It is eye-opening how fast things changed, and how it brought out the good in most people. Tonight's gifts are a prime example of that, these designers who could probably really use the lindens from selling their hard work but instead chose something to give us for free to make us smile. Oh Pretty Woman

Hiya everyone! Tonight I am feeling the chill in RL, which is reflected in some but not all of the Womenstuff Hunt prizes I chose for this post. The prizes are all either free or a single linden, and hiding inside t-shirts of red with green and brown stripes for this round, so please be sure you are picking up the current prize and not a plain red or red & white gift from a prior round. You'll be surprised how many are still out, and if you missed the last round then certainly take advantage of it if you wish, just don't try to follow the wrong landmark to get to the next stop :) The website can help with hints of course, and has all our links to each participating store. 

My first look is one I would gladly wear in RL right now because it looks so cozy and cute. It is our $1L hunt prize from b[ELLE] called Winter Girl. The sweater comes in sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and a fitted version, while the jeans are provided as system layers and an Omega applier in regular, worn (shown), and distressed variations. The boots are included in Maitreya and Slink flat sizing, although if you wear either with no mesh feet at all (alpha them out) I think it would work just fine.

Another cool casual look can be found in the t-shirt at Le Fashion Whore, their free prize called Santa Baby Complete Outfit. It starts with the sweater in Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya sizing, and continues with the applier for the tights which is compatible with Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, and Slink and offers 7 colors with and without snowflakes. The uggs style boots are in a single size for flat feet. There is a color HUD included too with tabs for the sweater (7 background colors with 6 different designs each) and for the boots (12 colors) so just click your way through these HUDs to find what you need then mix and match to your heart's content. I am not entirely ready for Christmas looks at this point, but I will be in a couple of weeks and am grateful to have this look a bit early :)

Sweet Intoxication has something flirty as their $1L prize, hiding in that red/green/brown shirt for you. It is their Amber Outfit - Pink/Black, and includes jacket and pants each in Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing plus heels for Maitreya and Slink high feet. The jacket has an added feature - it is strippable when clicked. It can reveal a strappy tank top beneath, or reveal you in all your glory ;) Speaking of strappy, the laced sections on the pockets and back of the pants are a fun touch, and so is that built-in thong.

For a burst of vibrant orange, find the free shirt at Tamiron Forge which contains their charming Aubry Dress. It includes standard small and large sizes as well as eBody, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique versions, all with a zipper across the front that opens for a playful wedge opening. This is a great style that is very flattering to curves.

My final look of the evening comes from Tiar, and is called pretty maiden. This free prize comes in sizes for Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies, and is a unique style with its belts, large bow, and peek of belly above the pleated and layered skirt. There are a lot of pretty details here, and the colors are a fun combination of dark and pastel so it isn't overly sweet.

My favorite hockey team went into overtime again, 7 out of the last 8 games now which is rather excessive. I guess it's great if you feel like 60 minutes just isn't enough time to enjoy a game, so you need the extra 5 minutes and possibly even a shootout ;) We lost in the shootout, which is basically a skills competition with chosen players taking turns shooting solo on the opposing goalie. I had to try to be calm and pleasant, because tonight our opponent was Xan's favorite team ;) LOL! We were chatting via text but not voice yet at the time, so it's all good. The Show Must Go On

Hiya everyone! Tonight we have more delightful prizes from the Womenstuff Hunt 2019, found in red and white t-shirts for $0L or $1L (designer's choice) in well over 100 participating stores across the grid. There are hints and locations on their website, so it is helpful to have it open and available while hunting. My title is inspired by another rough evening made better by listening to classic music (Queen). 

First we have the $1L prize from Artic Storm, called *AS* Amory Red Stripe/Denim Stars Jeans. The bare shouldered and breezy top comes in the same sizes as the jeans - fitmesh standard, Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. I was really taken with how detailed the jeans are, with zippers beneath each front pocket and open at each cuff. 

This charming look is the D & D Fashions Liliana Dress, hidden inside their t-shirt for just $1L. It includes sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and a standard fitted version for classic avatars. It also comes with a HUD that provides 8 texture choices, mainly in black and white combos but one does have purple on the bottom ruffle. This is a sweet style with a chic color palette.

Speaking of sweet, the design on this outfit's top made me squeal with happiness as soon as I first saw it. This is the prize from b[ELLE] called Summer Top & Shorts, and for a mere linden you will receive each piece in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. You probably already guessed that there is a color HUD too for that top, which gives you 5 choices including the two shown above. 

Grumble's free prize combines a revealing style with feminine flowers and edgy black with gold chains for a very unique look. It is called St. Croix Swimsuit, and includes sizes for eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. 

One more look this evening, this is the free prize from Luziefee called LUZ - Spring Fatigue - WS Hunt May 2019. The lovely Sakshi sweater with bold flower image on the front comes in fitmesh standard sizes plus eBody Classic, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. Whew, one of my odd health problems (neuropathy) has been more troublesome the past several days and it is affecting my ability to type.
