Sassy and Swanky

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we swing by the SWANK Event again for their Pride Hunt which is part of the Celebration of Colors themed round this month. The gifts are found inside rainbow striped flames, easy to spot and free if you have their free group tag active :) Be sure to explore both floors of this impressively sized event, and I'm confident that you will be very pleased with the sales offers and gifts you encounter. I obviously was as usual, lol, and will always happily plan on a high priority visit to these events.

My first look of the evening is a playful bodysuit with artwork of a voodoo doll seated on the front. The [LABELITA] Camilla Body Red gift includes sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Reborn, and Juicy mesh bodies. I'm not sure exactly what the doll signifies, but he looks like he could use a hug. I'm always up for that :) The ruffles are a flattering detail, and I always wind up drawn to the boldness of bright red.

Some of the treats are indeed Pride themed, like our Nala Design - Marianna Pride Outfit 1. The dress, anklets, and heels are all designed to fit Legacy, Perky, Petite, Maitreya, Maitreya Petite, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. We also receive the rainbow earrings you see here, which go so well with the bands on the dress and the platforms of the shoes :) Speaking of shoes, how fun are those chains that drape across the toes and then along both sides? The anklets are optional since they are separate, but I do think they add a special something to the look.

{Le'La} Makana Set Gift is another great gift that you do not want to miss :) The top, cardigan, and skirt each come in sizes for Erika, Erika Bubble, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Nerido, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Juicy bodies. Then we can add the garters which fit Erika, Erika Squeeze, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Kupra Maze, Legacy, Legacy Maze, Reborn, and Reborn Maze thighs. The little heart shaped coin purse on the left garter is a really clever touch, and in case it's not clear the tank top says "Limited Edition". Yes, we are!

Find the Black Angel Store flame, and you'll receive their VESNA DRESS by BA Store as your reward :) I must say, leopard print is one of those things that may rise in prominence from time to time but never truly goes out of style. It looks great here on the top and straps, contrasting the black skirt which looks oh so sexy with that opening on the left thigh. There are Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes included. 

For my last look of the night, I combined two gifts that look so nice together that I've been wearing this outfit off and on for a couple of weeks now ;) The Vulnus Pride Hunt Gift knotted top has rainbow colored trim to match the rainbow arch and clouds on the front, and the upper back says "Vulnus 4 Pride" in multicolored text. We receive sizing for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. Then I added our AXE SHORT ESTELA GIFT, one of my favorite pairs of shorts I've seen in SL in ages :) The floral pattern has lovely 60s and 70s vibes, just so bright and cheery, and the length is nice if you're wanting a decent amount of coverage (no cheeks hanging out lol) without feeling stuffy. They fit Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. With all those pretty colors of flowers, you could wear just about any top that you wish with these!

It felt like a long weekend, like each day went pretty slowly for me...I'm glad I went to the farmers market and it was nice despite being fairly hot, and I am relieved that I got lots of rest today. I don't know yet when I'll be going out anywhere this week, but it will most likely be to get my eyeglasses finally. The weather may affect that, but it just seems like common sense to have glasses as backup anyway when you wear contact lenses. Happy Anniversary SWANK

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is loaded with group gifts from the SWANK Event and their 11th anniversary round. This is always a queen sized affair with over 200 displays on two floors of the building, and our gifts are claimed by clicking the glass globes with a golden Swank logo and number 11 at many of the displays. I'm just getting started in this post since with this many generous treats, we'll be seeing many more of this delightful event here :) Be sure to set aside some extra time to unpack all these gifts, because it truly is a flurry of free goodies, and there are some for the guys so please share that info with whomever may want to know.

My first look of the evening is our very versatile Ahlure - Laura Outfit gift. The top in two versions (sheer and solid), skirt, belt, boots, and add-on for the top (tie) are all provided in Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes. We've got HUDs too of course, one for the outfit with 12 colors each for top 1, top 2, skirt, belt, boots, and add-on, plus 4 apiece metals for the string and belt. The boot HUD lets us choose from 12 colors each for boots, belt, and heel, with 4 metals for those chains draped over the heart-shaped openings in the back. So fun!

This sexy look is the **BELLA SWAW WHITE URBAN STYLE COMPLETE OUTFIT** gift which is one of several from V8 Underground. Its top, shorts, and sandals all fit Legacy, Bombshell, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu bodies. The top is basically a triangular wisp of fabric tied in place with lots of strings, which are a fun nod to the lacing up of the sandals :) The lips image says "I Love you" beneath the dripping lip gloss (yes, I realize in red it would be blood, lol) which solidified for me that the name is a typo of Bella Swan from Twilight. Literally every piece has it typed as I did above "swaw" so I am crediting it as is, and honestly the important thing is the hard work that went into creating the outfit and then the generosity of gifting it to us ♥.

:::WILD:::Fashion SWANK 11th Annivers Gift is actually one of 3 from this same store at various displays throughout the event, this one being a gorgeous mermaid style gown with slender straps that cross in the back. The cherry red color has me torn between singing Cherry Pie and Cherry Bomb, so either Winger or The Runaways :) There are sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu mesh bodies provided. The other gifts I mentioned are not shown here, but they are both accessories and you might enjoy wearing one or both with this dress.

Next I continued to turn up the heat with our [LABELITA] Swank Gift 2025 outfit. This is all one piece with the look of several, in a soft floral pattern with autumnal hues. I really appreciate the blend of romance and edginess! For my final look of the evening, I am sparkling in the GGVG GROUP GIFT JIANNA DRESS 40 COLORS. It's not their only gift here, so be on the lookout for those others too :) This dress and gloves are separates that each come in Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes. Our HUD offers the 40 colors mentioned in the name, one set for the dress and another for the gloves so we get to mix or match. I matched my teals on the right but went with different shades of purple on the left, love them both. The golden flecks you see on the texture are animated so they are dancing around, providing a celebratory feeling in my mind.

Colors Of Swank

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got some more wonderful SWANK Event group gifts to share, as we are partway through their Celebration of Colors round for Pride Month. The gifts are plentiful as always, with over 100 designers on two floors of this impressive event. We can find treats for just about everyone as there are male and female fashions and accessories, plus home decor that helps us spruce up our living spaces. I think my premium house could use a little updating in a few rooms, maybe by swapping out some furniture or adding a pretty rug. Meanwhile I am having so much fun trying on all the clothing gifts! As a reminder, they are calling it a hunt (but they are not hard to find!) and we are looking to click all the rainbow striped flames we see. They look like they are carved from wood, and have a photo of the gift in the middle or the default image of the word Gift. You need the SWANK VIP group tag active, free to join.

My first look of the evening starts with the [LABELITA] Pride Gift, a cropped sleeveless top with heart shaped cutout to show off cleavage. All edges are trimmed in rainbow stripes :) There are sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies included. If you want to pair it with another event gift like I did, let me suggest our terrific [Aura Design] Lila JEANS - FATPACK. These flattering denim jeans have suspenders that dangle down each side, and an optional add-on tag to hang from the left front belt loop. We receive the jeans and add-on each in Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn sizing, with a HUD for the jeans with 20 denim hues and one for the add-on with 12 words or phrases imprinted upon it. Randomly I chose PIZZA above, lol, but Bad Ass was really tempting too. If none of them speak to you, you can always leave the add-on in the folder unworn and enjoy the jeans alone :)

Those jeans also look great with the AXE-PRIDE GIFT, a striped tee with plenty of lovely colors that call to mind several different Pride flags. This group gift fits Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. I'm sure there are plenty of skirts, shorts, pants, and leggings in your inventory that you could wear with this shirt instead if you wish, for variety :)

Next I tried on both versions of the LUXE Paris Womens Pride Hunt gift, proving to myself that I can never choose a favorite lately ;) The black and white varieties of this flirty dress are each provided in sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. The bold rainbow stripes really pop against both backdrops, and the side cutout and slit in the skirt add extra visual appeal. I'm always going to be excited about halter style necklines too, can't help myself.

One of the prizes I found from {Le'La} is this charming Simeona Dress Gift. There's also a HUD that offers 30 colors for each, plus 4 settings for the shine. So sexy!

If my photos look a little darker tonight, it may be because I updated Firestorm and the lighting is all changed and I am still working on getting it adjusted to suit my personal preferences. I never dealt much with windlights or EEP before, so now I feel like I'm trying something new to me while being thrown into the deep end as it's critical for taking photos. Seasonal Swank

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we return to the holiday round of the Swank Event, where their free group tag lets us click tons of beautifully wrapped presents to receive generous gifts from talented designers. It makes me so happy to be able to share these with all of you, hopefully spreading a little of the cheer that envelops SL this time of year.

My first look of the evening is the charming :::WILD:::Fashion SWANK Christmas Gift dress. This tulip hemmed mini dress is a striking deep red that almost makes me think burgundy or maroon, ideal for this time of year or honestly any other :) There are sizes for eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies provided. 

As I unpacked the [AF] Alicia Tight Micro Dress OffSet gift from anny's Fashion, I realized that there were actually 3 dresses and 2 similarly built tops inside :) The yellow lace dress can be seen on the left above, and light green lace dress is on the right, with the others being a white lace dress, clear kiss top, and white top. Each is packaged with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizing, and beautifully textured too I might add. The tops are shorter and stop just above the ruffle on the dresses, and will look great over your favorite pants or skirts.

My next lovely look is our [LABELITA] Christmas Gift Swank Event dress, in snowy white with golden snowflakes and baubles on the skirt. It fits Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, and has a great halter neck with the back laced loosely from neck to waist. It looks terrific with heels, sandals, or boots, and the flowing skirt makes me think of ice skating somehow :)

Ahlure would like to tuck their XMas Group gift Miriam Outfit into your stocking if you've been nice this year...or maybe naughty too? ;) It consists of the top, skirt, and belt, each in sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. The long sleeved top is lifted on each side and tied to reveal considerable underboob, with a fun trio of snowpeople above that wishing us Merry Christmas. I really like the way the gold chain belt looks with the golden hue of the zippers barely holding our skirt in place :) 

One more goodie for this evening, it's the beautiful [ZEX] Vemika Sexy mini dress Rose. My first thought was how pretty the color is, and how the black mesh inset on the midriff really shows it off by contrasting so well :) Then I spotted the high leg slits and the bustline ruffle, you know I was sold by then! Well, my day off from blogging did not go anywhere near as planned...I had difficulty sleeping before the dental visit, then woke up an hour later with a fierce panic attack that brought its partner in crime, stomach troubles. Ugh. By the time the appointment was about 3 hours away and I hadn't slept yet, nor had additional meds made any dent in the distress I was in, there really was no option but to cancel. I'm embarrassed and ashamed that my agoraphobia won this round, but I managed to get to my parents' for dinner tonight (visited, didn't eat there) just to feel like I half succeeded at anything. If anyone in your life has ever flaked on plans because of anxiety or similar, please try to be understanding that no matter how disappointed you may have been, they were probably 100 times harder on themselves about it. My anxiety's other buddy is depression, and they are both tormenting me as we glide into the weekend. Speaking of which, the weekend that is, I am taking my usual Saturday evening off from blogging to prepare for my next therapy session which is Sunday early afternoon. The therapist's schedule is changing and that will be the new regular time eventually, which I'm fairly neutral about since I don't really have other plans.
