Hiya everyone! Tonight I have another event's anniversary to help celebrate, The Instruments is having their 2nd anniversary and most of the vendors are generously offering presents free to all, no group needed. The event runs until the 27th, so you have almost 2 weeks to head over there. Enjoy!
I couldn't resist starting off with a lovely tribute to Prince in the form of this gift from Selene Creations. I listened to Purple Rain a lot back in the day, so it was quite a treat to see the photo from the album cover immortalized here. It's included in several fitmesh sizes including standard, Belleza, and Slink. I accessorized with another anniversary gift, the Kawaii Bara Choker from !IT! which includes a HUD that offers resize options plus 16 flower colors to choose from. Personally I love the winged heart on the choker itself, and any added versatility from a HUD makes me smile.
If you're in the mood to twirl around in some fluttery flexi, be sure to pick up the lovely Sand dress by Lyrical B!zarre Templates. It includes the skirt and system layer pants and top, along with an Omega applier.
In a similar color scheme as that last gift, we have a short and sassy number from KL Couture called Julia Brown, with a resizable belt to fit over any of the standard mesh sizes of dress included. That subtle paisley print on the blouse goes so nicely with the hounds-tooth on the skirt.
Another fun anniversary gift is courtesy of Two Foxes, their Lorraine Dress in an intriguing pattern that reminded me of Spirograph (am I showing my age? LOL) or perhaps a crocheted layer over a classic sheath dress with cuffs and collar. This comes in standard mesh sizes plus a fitted version, so it sounds like a good fit for many of you.
I am wrapping up the evening's post with a sexy bodysuit which is our gift from Katak, their Maillot Body Black in system layers as shown along with appliers for Maitreya, Belleza, and TMP. I also decided on some playful pops of color, in the form of the gift from (CW) and their Layka jewelry set. It includes the necklace, bracelet, earrings, and ring with resize scripts for your convenience, and I greatly enjoyed the look.
Nail note of the night: LUNA has out a terrific gift for Slink nails, their Music Instruments Gift with a HUD featuring 5 different designs of various musical symbols on either a black or a white background, so 10 options altogether. There are separate HUDs for Slink hands and feet, but I'm hoping most of us have upgraded to the body parts that are compatible with either :) It's great that they include both though, just in case.
Yesterday was more tiring than I expected and my family visit was several hours longer than planned, hence my need for finally getting some sleep which cut out my blogging time. Hiya everyone! I am taking a break from blogging hunts to bring you some glimpses of the Designer Circle 5th Anniversary gifts available to all of us, no group needed. Just head on over and look around, you can find fantastic bargains plus plenty of freebies to celebrate. This round lasts until the 16th, so you've got about a week to visit.
As there are plenty of tops among the gifts but only one pair of pants, I should start with those since they'll be shown in every photo tonight ;) They are from *CNZ* and are their Simple Black Leggings, system layer shown but also includes appliers for Maitreya, Slink, Omega and TMP. This top is from [WellMade] and is called Middle Hun Top. They make an interesting combo, with the pants being so low and the shirt being cut so high. I've accessorized with the gift from !IT!, well 2 of the 3 versions of their Enchanted Roses Bracelets (the third will be seen in another photo) which are each provided in left and right versions along with a wonderful HUD that offers 10 metal options, 7 large rose colors, and 35 small rose colors. So many possibilities!
I think my avi is giggling here at how low the rise on these pants is...meanwhile this sweater looks so cozy and amazing, doesn't it? Our gift from U:Refined is their Darcie Cable Knit Sweater, in several standard mesh sizes plus several fitmesh including Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. That color is just amazing, by the way.
Mesh body lovers, this top is for you! Our event-exclusive gift from Graffitiwear is this Red Poppy Tee, and it has a cute optional shirt tail on a system layer plus an Omega/Physique applier. The shirt itself comes in very specific sizes: Freya, Hourglass, Isis, Maitreya, Physique, and Venus. I'm wearing the Maitreya here and there is a small alpha issue at my shoulders but overall not too bad :)
Next we have a great gift from Loordes of London, their shirt/sweater combo named The SL Retro Look-#19. It is long enough that you don't necessarily need pants beneath, I left them on for simplicity. These colors actually put me in mind of autumn, but seasons are all relative in SL so it doesn't truly matter. This top comes in standard mesh sizes, along with Freya, Isis, and Venus versions.
My last look of the night is the Scarlett Wrap Halter Top that is our gift from MOoH! and comes in standard sizes with no alpha (so wear fun pasties for people who see you before your shirt rezzes maybe? LOL) and a HUD for 8 texture choices. I'm just showing 2 but there are solid colors too, very nice selection. Also, as promised, I'm showing you version 3 of the bracelets from !IT! and you can see more of the color choices from their HUD in action.
Nail note of the night: I am wearing another treat from the Designer Circle's anniversary, this time from Pink Cherry. It is their Spring Crazy Nails for Slink and is a DC exclusive, so be sure to grab this gift while you can. I am wearing different skin than usual tonight, the March group gift from 7 Deadly s{K}ins, Merle marshmellow v1. This gift comes in 3 versions each (eyebrows seemed to be most notable difference), tones marshmellow and caramel, with several appliers for each, but I do need to note that currently the fee to join this group is $300L. I was in the mood for variety, it happens :)
Whew, what a day! It is beautiful and warm, spring has clearly arrived because of 2 signs outside...for one thing I saw the groundhog roaming around the backyard earlier. She must be loving this weather too. The other sign, these crazy loud frogs that apparently are called spring peepers and live up to that name all night long into the wee hours. I have a fun hunt to share with all of you, the Good Witch Bad Witch Hunt which is a free hunt with just 15 stops where you will be looking for a pointed black hat with a bright green band. What will you find inside? I am showing you the clothing prizes I found, and you can peek at their blog to see photos of the rest. Enjoy :)
First we have the prize from Perfect Seduction, the organizers of the hunt and stop #1. Their ladies' gift is these adorable Witch PJs, one piece of mesh in standard sizes. There is another hat hidden in the store with a mens' gift, which is a matching pair of sleep pants.
I have on two prizes here, let's start with the dress...Sherbert has provided us with their Good Witch dress in all the usual mesh sizes plus a fitted mesh version. I thought the dusky color was perfect for dressing up with prize #11 from Perfections, which is their Snow Queen jewelry set. The headpiece and earrings are included, and they have some bling and a glow to them (the photo captured the glow but not bling) so will brighten up any outfit or evening.
This flirty outfit is from Pretty-N-Pink, who are #7 in the hunt, and it's called Sabrina, I assume in honor of the Teenage Witch show. Their gift includes the system layer shirt and thong with appliers for Belleza, Eve, Omega, Slink, and TMP, along with the mesh skirt in standard sizes PLUS the shoes for Slink high. The colors and patched design of the skirt made me smile, and in case you can't quite read it the shirt says, "Are you a Good Witch or a Bad Witch? ...Depends on who you ask". For the record, most of the time I lean good...most....
JK Style is giving us this fun little dress as prize #14, and it says Halloween is not just spiders. There is a gorgeous phoenix on the front, and a ghost on the back, but as you can see there are a few spiders around as well. I love the twisted front and the sexy slit on the side! This is provided in all the usual mesh sizes plus ones for Belleza, Slink, and Maitreya.
Last but certainly not least, we have the Good Witch outfit from *Zesty*, who are #15 the final stop in the hunt. The top is mesh in the usual sizes, and the pants are a system layer with an Omega applier. If you're wondering about that incredible necklace, I can't blame you :) That is our prize from #10 Indulge Temptation! and comes in 2 versions, one with black pentacles and one with silver. It also includes a HUD that lets you resize the necklaces if need be, and change the colors of the flowers to an amazing 35 different choices. As you can see in the inset, a few choices have a variegated look with multiple colors in the same flower. These beauties are not just for Halloween!

My busy weekend is rapidly approaching, in less than 10 hours I'll be headed to a farmers market to kick things off. It's always a good time, with a real sense of community among the vendors and regular customers. Hiya everyone! I had fun choosing more prizes from the enMESHed Into Summer Hunt to share with all of you, lots of goodness so I hope you enjoy!
This darling dress from HolliPocket not only has fun little studs decorating the front of the skirt, but the wash of rainbow colors down the side is terrific! They are #36 in the hunt, so find that popsicle if you want this beauty. I accessorized with the prize from Barefoot Apparel #12, their 'solar' aviator sunglasses which include a HUD for 8 color choices of lenses. The pinkish color works wonderfully with the dress!
I found another lovely bathing suit (I've shown you a few in the first posts from this hunt) and dressed it up with a couple of other terrific prizes. The bikini is from B Barbie Style (#13) and the fun colors look even more jazzy with the pretty bows on the hips! My fishy handbag is the Going Swimmingly Clutch from DUH! #3 and this is their pink/yellow version...you also get a red/navy version and a turquoise/orange. The sweet watermelon necklace can be found in popsicle #31 at Gachapon!
For another laid back summer look, I am enjoying the romper from #22 Cupcake Clothing, while kicked back in the chair from True North Designs. Their popsicle is #11 in the hunt, and you'll also find in there a small round wicker table with a solid blue tablecloth to match this terrific chair with several pose options. Now to accessorize, I had a hard time choosing from among 3 unisex surfer necklaces found at !IT! in 3 separate popsicles there, all #41 and each on a different floor of the store. You can see closer views of the various necklaces on the left.
Our prize from #15, OMG! Inc, is a very cool combination of sweet and sexy, cute and sassy...it is a leather corset dress with dainty blossoms scattered around on the skirt. What could possibly make it better? How about a HUD with 8 color choices? :) I'm showing you just 3 of them, so you can get an idea.
Finally we have a wild leopard outfit from TRUM (Tots R Us Movies), #39 in the hunt. I had some trouble with the corset and skirt not playing nicely together, separate mesh pieces, but your results may vary since your shape surely will :) I love the matching sunglasses that are included.
My nail note of the night is the same as last night, the limited time freebie at La Boheme that ends in a few hours. If you didn't get there yesterday, HURRY!!!
