My Funny Valentine

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have another February hunt to explore, the My Funny Valentine Hunt. The prizes are $1L if you locate them by following the hint on the website, or you can opt to purchase for $25L at the hunt sign in the store if you prefer not to hunt. Either way, these prizes are deeply discounted from what their full cost would be, and quality worth seeking out :) We are looking for pink puffy hearts with an image on the front that you can also see on the hunt signs, a couple beneath a tree. It is a sweet, romantic little heart that I enjoyed looking for, and exploring the various shops is always an adventure since I never know what I will see. 

My first look is the ZFG prize called VAL LOVE, a hot mini dress with long sleeves and sexy heart shaped cutout. It comes in sizes for Alice, eBody Curvy, Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Maitreya Petite mesh bodies. I really do feel like this style and color scheme will work well any time of year, not just February. 

I am enamored with the Juliet Tapered Hem Dress prize from Park Place Casuals! It is a beautiful lavender color with delicate floral pattern, and that hemline is simply stunning. The prize includes Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes. 

Our prize from Hardcore Clothing is their VALENTINES NEWS DRESS, and I will say that the name works well as part of the hint :) Another helpful tidbit is a reminder that many things in SL with doors will open if you click them, and that makes for interesting hiding spots. The dress is provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, and has a solid black bodice with patterned skirt that has various words with hearts and arrows adorning it. I would say it does in fact remind me of a newspaper, only more cheerful and no smudges from touching newsprint ;)

I also found the heart at RIISE, and happily claimed their Diana Prom Dress - Edition 1 from it. The style would have been too revealing for my Catholic school prom all those years ago, LOL, but I can think of plenty of events and places to wear it in SL. The gown comes in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique body sizing. There is also a HUD provided with 8 color choices, so it is as versatile as it is lovely. 

My final look this evening comes from ..::S&B::.. and is called Studded Leather Tube Dress red. This sexy strapless number hugs every curve and highlights some of them with silvery studs. It is included in standard mesh sizes as well as eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine body sizes.

Springtacious Womenstuff

Hiya everyone! There is still time to visit The Wash Springtacious Cart Sale, where you will find plenty of discounted merchandise for $10L or a special item for $50L per cart, with many of your favorite designers and possible future new favorites. I look forward to these each season to see what new clothing, accessories, and home decor we can pick up at such bargain prices. Another thing I look forward to are gridwide hunts, and this month includes the Womenstuff Hunt with 150 stores participating who have hidden red t-shirts for us to find. When we do, we claim them for either $0L or $1L and get to enjoy such prizes as dresses, casual wear, lingerie, jewelry, shoes, even tattoos. I love showing you peeks of the ones I have found, and hope it inspires you to indulge in some hunting too.

In my first look, I am definitely ready to hit the town! The dresses you see here are just two of the several available at the Luziefee cart, their Zaya Spring Dress in aqua on the left and nude on the right. There is also a lilac version of this same style, and a different style in a few color choices, all for just $10L each. This dress includes sizes for Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, eBody, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and a fitted standard version. Meanwhile my beautiful jewelry is another wonderful cart sale bargain, one of several from LUMINESSE. I am enjoying their Shalana Edwina Set here, which includes the earrings and necklace (resize script built into the necklace) for a mere $10L. There are treats here for all by the way, some really nice mens' jewelry in addition to a variety of other ladies' gems such as earrings, belly rings, even a gorgeous anklet, each so artfully crafted. I decided that since variety is so fun, we needed to see another weekend look, and one thing that spring brings to mind for me is flowers. So I draped myself in some floral finery! The dress is found at the Savoha cart, just $10L will get you their Summer Mini Dress in standard mesh sizes. There are of course other offerings, both casual and dressy, for mesh or classic avatars. You can visit the Savoha mainstore by clicking here, but for these bargains please use the link in the credits to whisk yourself right to their cart. As for my shoes, they are one of several shades of Dahlia Heels from .:battle fairy:. and this one is in ivory. They and the other shades are only $10L each, and there is a trio pack of shoes as their special $50L offering too. The lovely Dahlia heels include sizes for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink high as shown here, and I would be hard pressed to choose a favorite variety since they are all beautiful. The mainstore is right here on the Wash sim, and the limo directly to the cart is in my ending credits as usual.

Maybe instead of sweet and innocent, I need a more edgy look...so I was intrigued when I tried on this alluring outfit hiding in the Womenstuff t-shirt at Hardcore Clothing. It is called My Darkness Womens Outfit, and includes the dress in plenty of mesh sizes (Eve Pulpy, Eve Slim, Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, Physique, Maitreya, Tonic Fine, Tonic Curvy, and TMP) plus the matching choker and even those wild heels for Belleza, Maitreya, or Slink. The heels are tall and have some spikes on the back as well as around the ankle strap, and definitely add pizazz. Just find the t-shirt and you can claim this gift for free.

This prize combines sweet and edgy, and does so quite beautifully. This is the prize you will find at Syren's Song and is called Raven Black, in standard mesh sizes along with a fitted version and ones for Hourglass, Physique, and Maitreya. I love the laced corset contrasted with sheer lace, two different versions of lace that look terrific together. I am wearing the black panties that come with the Slink Physique body (the underwear layer that you can apply from the body's HUD) and I honestly cannot tell for sure if I am seeing that or if there are panties built into the texturing of the skirt itself, so you may want to keep that in mind if you are heading to a sim whose maturity rating would require all bits to be fully covered. I just happened to already be wearing panties as force of habit, after having a mishap once where someone got a bit creepy after noticing (in other words camming up my skirt apparently) that I'd forgotten.

One last look of the evening, this free prize can be found at Vanbeeck's and is named Spring Poofy. It is a soft beige color and scattered with what I imagine is a meadow's worth of butterflies, and it includes standard mesh sizes plus Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and TMP versions. All you have to do is follow the hint from the website and find the little red t-shirt to claim your copy.

I had a long and somewhat bizarre day, some intense family history was discussed with me that I was unaware of until tonight and I'm still reeling. Nothing scandalous, no juicy gossip, just things that happened way before I was born that shocked me to hear. I am just glad things worked out for the best in the long run. I do feel like telling all of you to go hug your oldest living relative while you still can, but I'm trying not to get too carried away ;) Suggesting hugs is never a bad thing though. Weekend Wrap Up

Hiya everyone! Tonight I am continuing my coverage of the Menstuff Fall '16 Hunt, which runs until the end of the month and features over 70 participating designers with prizes for either $0L or $1L. This has been announced as their final Menstuff hunt ever, so if you or a friend have a male avatar, this is the time to scoop up some terrific gifts. The website has all the locations and hints, so you can see who is participating and skip around if you wish. The prizes are an interesting challenge for me, with my female avatar, to show you in a way that still expresses who I am but doesn't take away from the products themselves, so I hope I can do them justice.

This outfit made me smile because it is quite traditionally masculine, and yet I enjoyed the sense of rebellion I felt by keeping my female mesh body and skin beneath it. The entire outfit is our prize from PUMP, their Trucker Outfit, and starts with the Aurora Trucker Flannel Shirt and Thermal Undershirt (like a dickey, those flaps of material for appearance rather than a full shirt layer) for Aesthetic mesh bodies. There is a different shirt included for standard avatar sizes, a single mesh open shirt with nothing beneath. Next we have the jeans in standard sizes, plus a pair of boots and we top it off with their Spicey Mustard Trucker Hat. Find their hidden t-shirt and you can be dressed from head to toe for free.

Hardcore Clothing has a full outfit hiding in their prize as well, this is their Mens Tough Guy Black & White Complete. It consists of the shirt and vest combo in standard sizes plus Adam and TMP fits, with a wide bottom version of each size (my hips appreciated that!). The shorts come in standard mesh sizes plus Slink and TMP versions, and don't forget the matching sneakers are in there as well. Included but not shown, a mesh mask for the face that has standard sizes plus a couple for wider necks.

This outfit features a combination of prizes, starting with the shirt from Tamiron Forge. Thor's Hammer Tank comes in two versions, the Omega applier shown here and a mesh version that is provided in standard sizes as well as TMP and Aesthetic. The jeans are from IMaGE Factory, their wonderful Justin Jeans Boot Cut which include a separate belt so you can wear them with our without. The belt and jeans each come in several sizes: Fitted 1, Fitted 2, standard S, M, and L. I realize my shape isn't best suited for these, but I can still recognize and be glad of the excellent texturing and the wide range of sizes.

If like me, you appreciate a nice motorcycle jacket, be sure to head to [Z.E.N] and find that blue t-shirt to claim this outstanding mesh biker jacket in an amazing 6 colors! You'll find Black, Dirty, Red (shown above left to right), Blue, Gray, and Midnight each in standard mesh sizes. From zippers to belt, to detailed shading, these are remarkable quality versions of a classic style.

I am enMESHed Into Fall

Hiya everyone! The enMESHed Into Fall Hunt is currently taking place, a free gridwide hunt that will have you searching for bats (dare I say going batty?) by way of the hints either on their blog or at the stores in a hint giver at the large signs displayed at each participating location. There are plenty of fun prizes to be found, and tonight I am showing you several.

My first look has a seasonal take on a classic favorite color, and a trio of bracelets to wear together or separately. The dress is prize #16 from Hardcore Clothing, 8 sizes including Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. Short and sexy with a playful heart skull pattern, this can be dressed down with some leggings beneath or dressed up with your favorite jewelry. One terrific choice would be the [evoLove] Into Fall bangles you see here, 3 separate bracelets you can add individually or all at once and they each feature a different gem color - purple, orange, and blue. Each contains a resize script so you can adjust as needed.

Next we have the prize from AdelleArts Manor Fashion, who are #8 in the hunt path. Their EIF 2016 hunt prize consists of all you see here...the floppy hat, necklace, bra and tights in system layers and appliers for Maitreya and Omega, and the sweater with lace in 6 fitmesh sizes including Maitreya. I am not certain if the stockings are meant to stop where they do, or if I was just experiencing an infamous SL glitch where they wouldn't show up, but that is why my feet are bare. If they won't apply for me in the future, I will probably select a great pair of boots to wear with them so my feet aren't even an issue :)

Lazirra has definitely gone with a Halloween feel, isn't this striking? Their prize includes the Goddess of Night gown in standard sizes, matching Slink shoes, horns, tail, and wings (named tail 1) to complete the look. The accessories are easily adjusted, and can be worn or left off if you prefer.

I am wrapping up this evening with an elegant casual outfit from #21 Athena Couture called {Rouge} Onyx in Black. It includes standard sizes plus Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions and is a single mesh piece comprised of the long flowing top and matching pants. I felt it was the perfect opportunity to show you these great shoes as well, prize #19 from Perfections Clothing. These cute Candid Corn High Slink Heels have great details, you can see they have candy corns on both front and back, even adorning the chains around the heels.

I feel like I describe all my Saturdays as busy but fun, and it fits today as well, despite not being very original...I had several laugh-filled conversations at the farmers market, while picking up some amazing food from talented people. Womenstuff Treats

Hiya everyone! I do have plenty more to share from the Womenstuff Hunt, so tonight I am showing you some of the terrific prizes I have discovered hiding in the $0L or $1L red t-shirts in this huge gridwide hunt. With 150 stores taking part, it's a good thing we have the entire month to track down all the prizes!

First up, we have a lovely versatile dress from FurtaCor, their Angel Dress. The dress itself is provided in a fitted classic size plus eBody, Hourglass, Maitreya, and Physique versions. It also includes a HUD with 9 texture options, three of which are shown above. I love the colors and the breezy style of this free hunt prize.

Two terrific prizes in this photo, let's start with the dress...this is the free prize from WinTeRwooD Designs called Catalina dress, in several mesh sizes: standard, fitmesh, Belleza Freya 1 and 2, Belleza Isis 1 and 2, Maitreya 1 and 2, Venus, and Slink. There is also a HUD enclosed for 6 color options for this lush velvety fabric. I had the pleasure of pairing it with the stunning prize hiding in the Luminesse t-shirt, for just 1 linden you too can enjoy their Majesta Necklace Set in Purple Pink Gold. It includes the necklace and earrings shown above, and just look at those beautiful colors! I have appreciated their jewelry at the Wash Cart Sales before too, so I knew I would be a fan of this prize as well.

Another elegant dress can be found hidden at Vindiktive, their Katya Dress which is an exclusive version for the Womenstuff hunt. You can wrap your body in this soft floral satin in your choice of 8 fitmesh sizes including Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink, as soon as you find the free hidden t-shirt. 

If you are looking for something a bit more casual, head on over to -CroM- and find their free t-shirt which contains Ivana in Flowers. This sweet romper comes in standard mesh sizes along with Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions so it should accommodate many bodies. 

My last look of the evening is a very fun one, courtesy of the hidden free t-shirt at Hardcore Clothing. Their flirty HC TOUCH OF RED outfit includes the top, shorts, and even the shoes in various sizes. The top comes in fitmesh XS to L and Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink, while the shorts are Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, Physique, and Lara sizes, and the platform stilettos are provided in Slink, Maitreya, and Belleza versions. I love the look of colorblock with some hints of ombre, the coloring is very clever on this set.
