Sweets from SWANK

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are seeing another handful of fantastic gifts from the SWANK Event and their 12th anniversary round. Join the free group and look for glass globes decorated in gold, and give each one a click :) There are over 200 booths and many of them have these treats which include fashion, accessories, decor, and more for men and women. So bring a friend, do some shopping, and make sure to explore both floors and pick up all of these generous goodies!

Let's start the evening with our Patty CK IVONE gift, a playful shredded tank dress with extra short hem. There are sizes for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies, as well as a HUD that lets us pick from 12 colors. They each have a subtly darker trim on all edges, which I think adds a little something special.

Our gift from AnaStyle is called Kirara Petals Dress, and it gives me such whimsical retro vibes! I think it's the pattern and style combined, like if it were a bit longer (some poses were showing off my nether regions) it would just need some go go boots to be right at home in the 60s :) We receive this cutie in Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Nhumana, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh body sizing. 

Next we get to bring extra shine to our look with the Dark Rapsody - Lara Dress Gold gift. Since the dress is so loosely buttoned in the front, it also includes matching panties, all in sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Juicy bodies. One slender shoulder strap is dangling down under the arm, simply a fun detail that I couldn't help from commenting about.

This gift is a duo of colors for an impressive outfit. The zOOm - MoonLess Outfit includes the top and skirt each in purple and gold versions, all of which will fit Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. We can mix them up but I went matching here, no special reason :) I'm always appreciative of a pretty crop top, and the skirt has built in panties and an attached belt of hearts that is an instant win in my book. 

For my final look of the night, I'm feeling flirty and fancy in our JUMO - AMMY Dress gift. The front view shows a clever slit from left hip to mid cleavage, and speaking of cleavage you can see the slightest hint of booty crack in the rear view ;) In sizes for Kupra, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu bodies, this dress will look amazing no matter which of the 25 solid colors and 5 patterns you select from the HUD. There are no wrong choices here, just gorgeous looks!

I am a little short on quality sleep again, so my brain fog is having a field day. Tomorrow I've got dinner with the parents, then Saturday is the farmers market, Sunday is therapy, and maybe I'll get some good rest again on Monday ;) Some weeks are just like that, lol, and I will get through it of course. OUH LALA Event

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are enjoying another event loaded with free gifts - the OUH LALA event :) I'd never been here before, so it was especially fun to have the opportunity to stop by a new-to-me event and find that they have lots of great sales offers and gifts. They did not need a group tag, so these are yours just for clicking the brightly colored gift boxes at most of the displays.

My first look of the evening is our AnaSTyle - ILARY RED gift. It's got a great layered look of a short sleeve tee with ripped fishnet long sleeves, all in a deep crimson that has me thinking of my birthstone (garnet). There are sizes for Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh bodies. It falls just above the natural waist, and we can pair it with so many wardrobe staples like skirts, shorts, leggings, pants, etc. For example I've gone with the Delizio jeans in white, from their marketplace freebie fatpack :)

We also can pick up a duo of flirty shirts from BlondeQueen. Their BQ::Shirley Crop Top:: 2 Mixes Colors consists of the pink apple and pink strawberry tops, each in sizing for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Peach, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. They are not only cropped short but have a low dipped neckline to accentuate our cleavage, which will also highlight any necklace we might choose to wear with these. 

Next I get my flirt on with the RAVEN COUTURE - Mela Dress. This thoughtful gift includes dress and string (panties) to fit Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies. The image on the front reminds me of a few things at once, since the red balloons are an IT hallmark, but the black and white striped suit whispered Beetlejuice (but just once, not three times) to my brain. The girl wearing it has beautiful platinum waves and glowing blue eyes, with striped branches or tree roots behind her. I'm such a fan of single sleeved looks in SL, and the side slit on the skirt is another playful feature.

I simply couldn't resist the *SO* Chic Summer 2 Dress - Retro Summer gift, so of course I had to share :) The design on the fabric reminds me of an 80s themed sim Xan and I visited once, very Miami Vice with neon colors and steamy hot atmosphere. The formfitting tank dress is provided in sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. It might be PBR textured because it does seem to be reflecting the lighting in my room.

My final look is certainly PBR, as it is labeled as such :) The B! Fashion - Beso Boho - Scarlet Damask gift is a lovely halter dress with a very classic and timeless pattern, while the style is that of a modern sundress. There are Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes included. Special note - this gift has a group gift script in it but set to 'none' as the group, so you'll need to have no group tag active at all to claim it. At the top of the list of your groups, "none" is the first option, and that's the one you need :) I know it sounds odd, but I've encountered this randomly before and was glad that there's a workaround. If they do change it to the event's group tag, that is free to join.

I'm not feeling so well right now (stomach) which could be from stress because isn't everything lately? My glasses are ready but I will not be able to get there until Friday before dinner at my parents', so that would be the potential stress if the problem isn't the food I ate earlier. I think the news about contaminated food got me a little paranoid, even if there were no raw fruits or veggies in what I ate. Otherwise the day was quiet and warm, and I can't stop yawning. Bleeding Solstice Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'd like to invite you to Bleeding Solstice by Difony Events. It is a Gothic shopping experience that brings the darker side of each season or holiday they cover, and I am always curious to see what their 100+ designers have to offer. In addition to the many sales items, nearly all of the displays have a glowing globe next to them with a free gift inside (either buy for $0L, click to deliver, or pay $1L and you'll be refunded) for us to enjoy with no group tag required. That's a mighty fine way to start the weekend and to celebrate Sunday morning's summer solstice :)

I'm coming in hot with two gifts combines for the start of the post :) The EKC - Bloody Rose Solstice Jackets is actually a pair of jackets (the one on the right is named grey) which are each provided in Legacy and Reborn mesh body sizes. They are slightly opened in the front but nothing scandalous, lol, and fall just above the natural waist. It seemed like a natural pairing to add the aprelle wish jeans SOLSTICE GIFT, as it is fun to contrast with bright white adorned with a few black stars. These flare jeans will fit Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies. I appreciate how well they hug the booty and thighs, then we reach the knees and they widen to give a sassy look :)

Speaking of sassy, I had another pair of jeans I wanted to share but not another top. So instead of a shirt, I'm covering my breasts by hugging the ROUXE - Plushie GIFT :) Is it odd that I love it without being sure what it even is? I see bearlike ears, little paws/hands in front, a sweet smile, pretty eyes with envious lashes, and what looks like a tuft of hair/fur atop the head as it peeks out from a celestial designed bucket. It has a built in holding pose as you see here, and I am having fun snuggling it for sure. The AnaSTyle - ZAMIRA GREEN PANTS are a low rise style in pale sage green, which come in sizing for Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, Squish, and Waifu mesh bodies. We've got another snug fit down to the knee, then flare to make room for whatever footwear you prefer. 

Next I've shimmied into the alluring V-Twins - Kaothic Outfit gift, which I highly recommend for a wild weekend. The bra top, jacket, shorts, and boots are each included in Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. There are 2 HUDs enclosed as well - the outfit HUD has 9 colors to choose from for the jacket, jacket belt, top, shorts, and belt, plus 4 metals each for the jacket and belt. The boots HUD is similar as the same 9 colors can be applied to upper or lower portions of the boots. Bonus that I can't forget to mention, the fishnet stockings you see here are also provided as a BOM layer so easy peasy to wear :) I'm pretty sure this store specializes in biker wear if I recall correctly, so get your motor running!

My final look of the night is one of many wonderful nails available among our gifts :) The Nyxa gift called NY - GEM NAILS especially caught my attention with the fact that we receive not only the base nails but add-ons of gems to layer on top in several colors. The gems come in black, pink, red, and white versions, and those plus the square base nails are all included in Gen X, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh body sizes. There's also a HUD with 11 colors for the square nails so we can really mix and match things! Just hide the nails built into your hands (body HUDs usually have settings for this) and add the corresponding square nails, then choose your gems if you wish. I love the gold accents too, terrific on any color of gems.

Are we all ready for the weekend? I'm sure I will be extra toasty tomorrow at the farmers market, but sunscreen will be generously applied so I don't become a lobster ;) I'll be getting some tasty pierogis, and probably a few other things to nibble on throughout the week. Spooky Swank Sweets

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post brings us back to the pumpkin hunt at the Halloween SWANK Event round, with all gifts free to claim with your free SWANK group tag. These pretty pumpkins have the event's logo in gold on the front, carved so they are able to be lit from within by a glowing candle. Some are smaller than others and up high or down low, but mostly they are fairly easy to spot at many of the 200+ store displays. I always have a wonderful time visiting here, and deeply appreciate the generosity of all the designers.

My first look is a pair of treats from AnaSTyle that work well together but can also be worn with anything else you might have on hand :) Their Annalisa Orange - SWEATER is cut low and zippered in front, in sizes for Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. It's a lighter hue than our Anastyle - Annalisa Orange - Pants gift, which made me think of persimmon even though I've never had one ;) These come in a similar set of sizes - Lara X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. I think that the Bombshell and Perky variations of the Legacy body are just for the upper torso though, so these would fit the same? Both pieces have a lovely sheen, and are flirty without being overly revealing.

Speaking of sex appeal, be sure to pick up this *ASIA* FLORENCE pink outfit when you want all eyes on you! The dress and separate sleeves each come in sizes for Belleza Classic, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, as well as the coordinated heels to fit Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn feet. The very pale shade of pink on the sleeves and center of the dress looks so pretty with the more mauve shade on the sides of the dress and our shoes. Anyone else think of Prince with those ruffled sleeve cuffs? Probably just me ;)

I can never resist a dress with a slit skirt, like this gorgeous [Mow] Miyu Dress Colors gift. There are sizes for Erika, Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies provided, along with a HUD that offers 8 pretty colors. The fishnet waist inset is a great touch too, all very flattering and we can dress this look up or down with our accessory choices.

I'm a Barbie girl, in a Barbie world...sorry for the earworm but the LUXE Paris BARBIEMANIA Womens Ensemble has got me singing! It starts with the brightest pink and purple strapless dress imaginable, plus matching boots, both in sizing for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Lara X, Peach, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. Then we can add the BOM leggings which are a fun white floral lace pattern, and the heart shaped handbag that comes in versions with and without a holding pose. Also included but not shown - a blonde ponytail hairstyle that will also give strong vibes of our favorite fashion doll. It would make a really fun costume for Halloween, and we can easily wear it without the handbag or the leggings if our mood or personal tastes dictate so. 

The final look tonight is a simply delightful gift from Malizia called Allison Dress 05. It's not the only gift I'd found from them either, so be sure to check all around both floors of the event :) We receive Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh body sizes of this cutie, with its bare shoulders and softly ruffled edges. If you've ever looked at something in SL (or a video) and thought "ooohh I wanna touch it!" then you know how I am feeling from looking at this ;) I've also got to compliment the color, minty and bright yet soft, perfect for any time of year.

Today felt like a weird whirlwind, so I'll try to explain as briefly as my verbose brain lets me...on the way to my haircut appointment, we heard a tire on my side making a weird noise. It was just 10 minutes to the salon, and he checked the tire while in the parking lot to find not one but 2 nails in the same tire. Good news - they didn't puncture the tire itself, just in the tread, especially reassuring since all 4 tires are brand new. Haircut turned out fine, my curls are back to life and my head feels lighter, LOL. Then all hell broke loose in the HKIA (Hello Kitty Island Adventure game) community as the company released info that the long-awaited update for all platforms other than Apple Arcade will be a paid DLC instead of the free addition we'd been told all along. This is a month after a $15 DLC area that was new to everyone, and of course the original expense of the (incomplete) game itself. The Apple Arcade people are taking the standpoint that they pay $10 a month to play so they spent way more than the rest of us, so they deserve it for free (there is no additional purchase price ever for that platform). The rest of us are pointing out that you get hundreds of games for that $10 a month, so you're not paying that fee for just this game like we would be. To make things worse, the company is limiting social media comments and removing any negative responses on discord, facebook, etc. which feels very dismissive. They know it's a crappy decision, and I think most people will decide against the extra expense. If I have to try to summarize: harmless nails in tire tread, haircut success, gaming drama that has many steaming, myself included. Valentine Shop and Hop

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm so excited to start sharing gifts from the Valentine Shop & Hop 2025 event, so I hope you're ready to do some exploring :) It opened to the public just a few days ago, and is going until the 18th so just past the holiday. I know not everyone is a fan of Valentine's Day and I deeply respect that, so with that in mind I'll say that the 14 regions are decorated in such a way that you hopefully won't feel overwhelmed with lovey dovey stuff ;) While there are hearts and flowers, there are also nods to friendship and spring. The wonderful sales offers and generous prizes are a mix of themed and not strictly so, meaning you'll see some red, pink, hearts, and romance but plenty of other styles too. As I always do, I'm sticking to one region at a time (gotta keep this bounty of gifts organized somehow!) so tonight we're at Golden. I also must mention that FabFree has once again done some incredible work getting their spreadsheet ready to help us all, landmarks and details about the gifts with tabs at the bottom to sort by type (male, female, unisex, dinkies, etc.) or region or store name. So grateful!

My first look is a flirty one, thanks to the <7w> Petty Set - Polka Hearts Golden gift from 7wishes. To start with, the unpacker HUD will have your avatar dancing around happily while you select the mesh body size to unpack - Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, or Waifu. The folder will include the top, panties, ruffle panties, and skirt, as well as some HUDs for your texturing pleasure. The polka heart golden HUD has 6 colors each, with or without hearts, for the boobs, strips, collar, and tie; then the skirt/panty HUD has 6 solid colors apiece for the panties, bow 1, bow 2, and ruffle. Now if you wear the panties without the ruffle, that particular column of colors doesn't matter of course :) The main skirt and lower bra portion of the top are both textured gold with white hearts as soon as you wear any of the HUDs. 

Our 13 Avenue: Valentine '25 Group Gift actually doesn't need a group tag to claim it, just visit and give it a little click :) We receive the knotted top and laced skirt with built in belt, each in Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizing. I'm sure you can guess that there is also a HUD, well that has 3 choices for each piece so our tops have fun patterns and our skirt has a trio of solid hues with contrasting trim already selected. I can't help but thinking of the Rolling Stones when I see that pattern on the right above with the tongue out, even if it's not an exact replica of their logo.

I kept the 13 Avenue gift's skirt on here to show off a different shirt, the AnaSTyle - Lilu Pink&Hearts Top gift. It actually matches a store group gift and a sales item there, but I was feeling adventurous ;) The sleeveless top with high neckline is subtly patterned with hearts and trimmed in black, playful without being over the top mushy. This gift comes in Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes. I'd gladly wear this any day of the year, not just Valentine's Day week.

Next we bring some sex appeal with the AXE-DRESS GIFT 2025, which upon further reflection seems to be more of a romper but I'm loving it either way. Halter necklines make me smile, and the neckline plunges deeply to a heart shaped golden ring, mimicking the hearts stamped on the fabric in deep pink. The gift includes sizing for Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. I do appreciate when an outfit gives a noteworthy rear view in addition to looking gorgeous from the front, as our departures ought to be as attractive as our arrivals :)

For my final look of the evening, I chose a formal beauty in a color that Barbie would be proud to wear :) Our HORL - Tyssa Outfit gift consists of the top and skirt in Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizing. I love that bare strip of skin at the waist between the pieces, and the way the skirt flares out and pools at our feet. 

The weekend has me like "it was the best of times, it was the worst of times..." because I genuinely had a good weekend with a big bad spot. I was supposed to try to go to the farmers market that I'd been missing for about a year and a half, but my anxiety had other ideas, and this time the anxiety (and nausea) won. I was very upset Friday night about the plane crash that was very near where my uncle and his family (my favorite cousins) used to live, and I'd even been in that mall with them a couple of times. So I was all in my head, and my mom had made a big deal of wanting to be at the market for my first time back, so I was under enough pressure that I should have been able to cry diamonds. After several hours of trying to sleep during which my body overrode my prescription meds that were supposed to calm me down, I conceded that my housemate and houseguest would be off to the market without me. Saturday basically sucked, hehe, but I had a helpful therapy session earlier and I'm feeling slightly less defeated. The houseguest left a couple of hours ago, and I am infinitely grateful for their support and kindness. I mention these things in case anyone reading this is struggling with anxiety too, or knows someone who is, to show that you are not alone. Meanwhile I had leftover Pad Thai for dinner, which was just as tasty as it was Friday, and I'm trying to plan some outings and meals for the upcoming week. Third Life Group

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I buzzed all around the grid like a busy bee, to track down some gifts for the Third Life group to share :) It was entertaining and I did find several that I am eager to show you, with a reminder that the Third Life group has a small $10L fee to join so once you're in, I recommend staying put. I did read recently on social media that SL will be increasing our group slots soon, but by 'soon' they could mean about a year. Still, it is something to look forward to!

My first find is the Side-tie Dress Ruby Red by COVETED! which is one sexy gift :) The single long sleeve is intriguing, then the full skirt is wide open on the right side (beneath where it ties) so from a certain angle you can see everything ;) C-string undies will be quite helpful. The wonderful Third Life gift from AnaSTyle is called LIV, and includes the dress and shoes you see above. There are standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP versions of the dress, while the strappy shoes come in Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink foot sizing. We also receive a HUD to let us choose from 2 textures for the dress and 2 colors for the shoes, all of which can be seen above. 

Sometimes casual deserves a touch of sex appeal, like our *SG* BELYNY SET gift from SPICY GIRL. The one-sleeved top has a diagonal sheer section across the front to show off cleavage, and we pair it with distressed cutoff jeans shorts :) They are each provided in sizes for Freya, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn bodies, all with a HUD that provides 20 colors for the top and 11 denim shades for our shorts. I do love mixing and matching!

I kept the SPICY GIRL shorts on here but changed into a couple of the ANGEL"S JEWELRY tops, from our AJ_blouse_CUTE OWL gift. There are a total of 3 adorable blouses included in this treat, all with the sweet owl in various scenarios, and all fitting Maitreya mesh bodies. The hot pink sleeves and wide band are very fun touches, and the shorts really suit them but you can also pair some warm weather long pants or jeans with these if you prefer.

My final look this evening comes from KingbalStores and is called 420 KS OUTFIT DANA DRESS POLKA FAT-PACK. It has a single shouldered style accentuated by a wide ruffle, and the slit skirt is designed to show off even more skin :) The dress fits Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies, and there's also a HUD with 5 textures. Each fabric texture changes the solid colored ruffle to a matching hue automatically, simple and lovely to wear.

The cold weather means that the snow is sticking around and the roads aren't completely safe, but they have been out with the brine and plows so my fingers are crossed for a brief outing tomorrow. Happy Anniversary SENSE

 Hiya everyone! Tonight is a part two of the SENSE Event and their 7th anniversary round, which wraps up on the 8th so please do hurry and stop by :) Their group is free to join, and there are many gifts available at various displays in pretty black bags with the Sense logo. I could keep going with more parts since there are so many generous gifts, but the calendar is not my friend in that regard unfortunately. I'm still annoyed at myself for not finding out about it until its final week, but I'm grateful to be able to sneak in two full posts about it before the round closes. 

My first look of the evening is the AXE-GIFT Dress, a sweet treat in brick red that looks warm and inviting. The high neckline and long sleeves are balanced by a very short hem, and this lovely gift includes Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Peach, and Reborn mesh body sizes. It is tempting me to add some leggings beneath for a more wintry look, or at the very least some undies to prevent cam-pervs ;)

I also adore the AXE-OUTFIT Grace gift, from its glittery tube top to its extra shiny pants with slits on the flared legs. The top is provided in sizes for Belleza Classic, Belleza Curvy, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Juicy mesh bodies, while the pants fit Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies. The subtle plaid on the pants are a fun touch too, and Xan even noticed the reflective qualities of the pants :)

I kept on the pants so I could show you two wonderful tops here :) The MCC - woman - xmas sweater 10 from MadCatCreations is the lovely on the left, and has a turtleneck built in to match the cuffs and hem. It is provided in Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, Waifu, Senra Jamie, and Star mesh body sizing. Then on the right you can see the AnaSTyle - Lia Red - Top, giving very different weather vibes yet in a similar hue. This cutie is designed for Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, and will go just as well with your favorite skirt as with a casual pair of jeans. 

Next I slipped into the gorgeous JXL-DRESS 13/08 gift, which is one of two I found at the event from this brand. The broad ruffle up top loops around diagonally to provide a single sleeve, and the right side of the skirt is slit all the way to the waist and tied in a playful bow. It fits Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Pinup, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. The green has a deep and rich quality that I definitely appreciate.

My final look of the night has a similar fuzzy quality to the first picture up there, at least on the pretty sweater :)  Our ALO - Anais Top & Skirt - Set 05 gift includes Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu sizes, and the top and skirt are separate pieces if you wish to wear them individually. I never rule that out when it's a possibility, even if I am enjoying the various shades of blue together. It made me think of this great song from the 70s, Misty Blue by Dorothy Moore, which I cannot recommend highly enough if you are feeling a bit reflective and enjoy bluesy slow songs by a woman whose voice sounds like warm honey.

I'm really slow tonight and I'm not even sure why. Dinner with my parents was nice, and my dad sounded unusually supportive when I mentioned the outings I'd done this week. He's usually pretty emotionally detached, so I'll take whatever kindness I can get from him :) The weather is getting very wintry here, with 3-6" of snow coming on Monday but some icy conditions before then (like currently) so I am staying home and trying to stay cozy. WIP Event Goodies

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I visited the WIP Event, whose December round is loaded with group gifts galore, and their group is free to join so all these looks will cost you nothing but a group slot and the time it takes to click the pretty gift boxes. Of course there are lots of fantastic sales offers to look over as well, and I had to keep my demos separate from the gifts for future reference ;) We have until the 22nd to enjoy the festivities here, so I hope you're able to pencil in some time on a very busy December calendar. Speaking of which, a lot of these designers are ones I am visiting the mainstores of on a daily basis for their Advent calendars, so the familiarity made me smile.

For my first look of the night, I'm wearing the beautiful ::ALTER:: Paris dress ~ White gift. The crossed front is held in place with metallic straps, for which there is a HUD with 3 metals so you can change their color if you wish. The dress fits Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. I'd also like to note that I spied an extra item in the folder which is the black version of the dress, all boxed up in the same sizes :) Possibly a mistake, not that I am complaining in the least but I decided to omit it from this photo in case the designer happens to fix that and remove it. Same great style, and I fully expect this to make appearances at holiday parties and club nights.

Peek inside the AnaSTyle gift box and you'll receive their Dania Fur Jacket (Azure) to keep your arms and bust warm and fashionable. There are sizes for Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies, and as you can see it layers nicely :) The fur has a glow to it because of that bright color, and I just felt so snuggly in it. I'm sure it will look just as pretty over a tank top and jeans if that's more your jam, as you dash around the grid to shopping event like WIP.

There seems to be a color scheme afoot, don't you think? Moonie has multiple displays at the event with gifts at each, so I paired two here and I'm thrilled with the results :) The Moonie - Winter Sweater is provided in Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Juicy mesh body sizes, in fuzzy bright teal that matches the flower on the Moonie - Winter Skirt wonderfully. That gift holds Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn sizes so it aligns with the sizing of the sweater, and has a snowy texture that almost made me think the flower was a snowflake at first glance. Bonus cuteness points for the black bow at the waist too.

My next look will let me visit the beach and just dream about snowflakes ;) The bikini is our JXL - GIFT, one piece with the look of two plus a belt, that fits Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. It's got plenty of playful bows, and the string around the waist is decorated with beachy charms that look like they would tinkle with movement. I'm sure you noticed the added body art too, which is actually our Moonie - Winter Snow BOM Tattoo so a third gift you get to see of theirs here :) The BOM layers are 50%, 75%, and 100% opacity so you can decide just how dark you want your red snowflakes to be. I've gone with the 75% here.

My final look of the evening is our [ZEX] Christina dress. Dove gift, and the feathery skirt definitely gives dove vibes :) It is a fun mini dress with carefully sculpted tight bodice, held in place by golden chains so we don't even need to add a necklace. There are sizes for Gen X Classic, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies included. I think the skirt makes me want to dance, or at least spin around a bit to see if the feathers flutter. 

My day took a frustrating turn with plans canceled out from under me, so I'm trying not to be a pouty magpie (spoiler alert, it's not working yet LOL). Tomorrow might be an outing, but I am not getting my hopes up. What I do hope of course is that you're all having a pleasant day/evening, with many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Shop and Hop Poppy

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it's time to see some of the Halloween Shop & Hop gifts from the Poppy region, one of 20 that each have 20 designers' displays with a gift in every single one. The regions are decorated to theme, but the discounted offerings and gifts are not required to be themed, although many are. If you want to see more info on all of them, I highly suggest the FabFree spreadsheet with images. You can sort it with the bottom tabs by type of gift, region, or even see large pictures of each treat being offered :) Shop & Hop keeps hopping until the 3rd of November, so just a few days past Halloween. I am using both Maitreya bodies in this post, 5.3 and Lara X, depending on the sizes available in each gift.

My first look this evening is our *LuLu* Battina gift. This black leather top and skirt set really does call to mind the intricate wings of a bat, and has bold seams with X stitching to highlight them. There are sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Maitreya, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu mesh bodies of each piece included. 

I kept that skirt on here but changed into the Manikin - Be a Witch - Q-Tees Tank Top gift. It says "In a world full of princesses, Be A Witch" alongside a woman in witchy garb with a broom, cat, and cauldron. Wonder what she's brewing up? :) There are sizes for Freya, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies.

[Pixel Doll] has two terrific treats waiting for us, which we can combine to make a full coordinated outfit. Their Missy Dress Halloween Set 01 is a single mesh piece with the look of two, a top and skirt that are linked by playful suspenders. The dusky light orange looks great against the black of the main outfit, and I really like the short poofed sleeves and bare midriff, plus that cute bow on the back! It fits Erika, Freya, Isis, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. Then I added the [Pixel Doll] Missy Halloween Shoes & Socks Set 01, which is provided in the same sizes with the exception of Perky since that is a bust mod and our socks don't come up that high ;) They are nicely detailed too, with bold stripes and tiny bows.

At this point I changed into my Maitreya Lara X body, and am enjoying the LOVE Fashion - Boo! Shirt gift. This beauty (boo-ty?) is provided in sizing for Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Perky Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. The ghosts are saying "Boo!" in speech bubbles, and their fringy sheets almost mimic the long bows of the ties on our sides. Cropped shirts are so much fun in SL, and this one could be paired with just about any pants or skirts you like. I've grabbed the black pair of Delizio jeans from my virtual closet, as they fit all my bodies like a charm thanks to BOM layers.

My final look of the evening is our AnaSTyle gift called Marissa Dark Blue Navy Dress. It is a low cut strapless mini with checked pattern belt tied around the waist. Claim this treat and you will find Lara X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizing tucked inside :) I think some white or silver jewelry would dress this up wonderfully, and I'd even think about layering something with sleeves over it in chilly weather.

Whew, this weekend felt really hectic for some reason. I'm still thinking over some things discussed in therapy earlier, and pondering a dream I had before that because it was just so weird and detailed. Our brains are amazingly creative sometimes, for good or bad I suppose. I haven't decided yet what I'll be blogging tomorrow, but there are multiple possibilities and I just have to pick one.
