Hiya everyone! Tonight I have a few more selections from The Wash Cart Sale to show you, and this has been one of my favorite regular events since long before I even thought about starting to blog. This round doesn't have a theme and everything is $10L each, on over 50 carts from a terrific variety of designers. These bargains are available until the 5th of September, so you have time to stop by and enjoy. I am also sharing a few prizes from the Enchantment Hunt, part of the Enchantment event that sends us to participating stores to look for a frog. The theme this round is Frog Prince, which is why the hunt object is a cute frog instead of their traditional open book. Use the website to hop from store to store, and use its hints to guide you to the frog so he can reward you with free prizes. This hunt ends at the end of the month, so hurry! (Hop to it?)
First we visit the De'Fient Unicorn cart at The Wash, where you will find several offers including their *DU* Besty's Top and *DU* Besty's Shorts, just $10L each. They each included in several sizes: classic S, M, L, fitmesh S, M, L, Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and Voluptuous versions. They also each include a HUD with 5 texture/color choices, so you can mix and match with really fun friendship related images on the layered tank and bold hues on the distressed shorts. Sometimes an occasion calls for a new dress, something elegant like a sleek strapless sheath style, and the {Poeme} cart is offering several in beautiful floral patterns. This is their Fleurs Strapless Dress, on the left in Azure and on the right in Jonquil, and there are other colors available to choose from as well. Each includes sizes for Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies, and all for $10L per color. Pick your favorites, these are affordable enough to enjoy them all if you so desire. Next we begin to explore the Enchantment Hunt by taking a look at the prize from ERSCH called Mandala Bodysuit Maitreya Tropical. It comes in a single Maitreya size and has a very pretty design of foliage on the front and sleeves, solid green on the back and trim.
This next prize is another bodysuit, but a very different style indeed :) It is from Have Unequal and is their Aya Body Pink Maitreya. It comes in a single Maitreya size and has a plunging neckline all the way down past the navel, with gorgeous golden trim and designs both front and back.
The frog at Love has several gifts for us, and for my final look this evening I chose their Lucky Crop and Panties fatpack. It has several components all in Maitreya sizes: Sweater Crop Top in Green (seen on the left) and White (on the right) and Panties in solid Green, solid White, Lucky Charm Green, Lucky Charm White (worn on the left above), Rub Me For Luck Green (right), and Rub Me For Luck White. It was a busy day, clear but hot, and I enjoyed it but probably didn't get quite enough sleep. I'm not sure it's possible to truly get enough rest, my brain gets overactive and I have the most bizarre dreams imaginable. Hiya everyone! Tonight's post starts with a wonderful offer found at the Enchantment event by Entice, and continues with several prizes from the Enchantment Hunt. It is a free gridwide hunt in which we will be seeking a gold key at each store, and the theme of Enchantment this round is Alice in Wonderland so many of the prizes are nods to that classic story. The event and hunt are open until the 31st, so you have over a week remaining to take part in these terrific opportunities.
My first look is the adorable Entice - Alice in Wonderland Tank and Alice in Wonderland Shorts, each of which can be found at the Enchantment event at a discounted price. They are each offered in individual colors for $150L each, or (my recommendation) the fatpacks for $450L each where you will find 2 bonus colors for a total of 10, via HUD. The tank fatpack HUD even has an extra plus, the ruffle on the front and back of the neckline can be changed to your choice of 5 colors with that exclusive HUD. The shorts have solid versions and patterned ones, and if you look closely you should be able to notice the Alice in Wonderland design on those patterns. Meanwhile, this style is perfect for summer and I have been wearing this outfit quite a bit already while hunting and exploring SL. No matter which you choose, it will include sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. The next treat I have to share is a hunt prize from Vanilla Bae called Tillie Necklace Fat Pack, a very pretty chain with a key pendant and a fun bow. The necklace itself comes in Maitreya and unrigged versions, and there is a HUD included that offers 6 metal colors and 21 ribbon colors to choose from. I am still wearing the Entice outfit above, changed to a red option from the fatpack HUD, so I chose a matching red for the necklace ribbon and a soft yellow gold for the metal. There are so many combinations that it will certainly match whatever you choose to wear it with, and the key is a cute reminder of the hunt object.
Next we visit Have Unequal to find their hunt prize, the Trinity Dress Alice. It is provided in sizes for Maitreya and Slink Hourglass, and is such a flirty style with those geometric cutouts down each side. The ombre color is a great touch too, should be flattering with many hair colors and skin tones.
Love has a playful gift hiding in their golden key, this Risky Dress & Heel Boots in White. The dress and boots each come in sizes for Maitreya and Hourglass, and the outfit makes quite an impression coming or going...that cheeky short skirt (yep, pun intended) and the hint of pink on the sole of the boots. This is definitely worth the effort of hunting for it.
One last look of the evening, this is the Queen Of Hearts Dress/Headdress from Whymsical Marketplace. The dress is provided in fitmesh standard sizes plus Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions, and the headdress has a resize script built in on touch. Just find the hidden key and you can claim this elegant outfit for free.
Tomorrow my father is having surgery, so I am not sure if I will have time to get a blog together or not but I will try my best. This is one of those times when real life has to come first, and my family needs me. Anyone who is so inclined to offer prayers, positive energy, healing vibes, anything of that nature would be greatly appreciated :) He is very healthy otherwise and I believe in my heart that he will have a safe recovery, I'm just a worrier at heart so I'm anxious. Hiya everyone! The newest round of the Enchantment event just started on the 12th, with a theme of Hansel and Gretel, and along with it there is a fun hunt that will send you looking for an open book with foliage that says Enchantment on it in several participating main stores. You'll need to pick up a free HUD at the event first, and allow it to teleport you, then each button you click (tiny store logos) will whisk you away to one of the locations you need to search. It will also put a hint in your local chat, always handy for finding things. The HUD was a bit glitchy, circling the wrong stores in green for me a few times (the indication that you found that store's prize already) or a couple times teleporting me to a completely different store, but I believe I wound up visiting all the right locations in the long run. Tonight I will be sharing an assortment of the generous prizes to be found.
In my first look I am enjoying some stunning lingerie from Chocolate Atelier, their Pier in Dots Green. System layers are provided along with appliers for Belleza, Lolas, Maitreya, Omega, Slink Physique, and TMP. The texturing is delicately beautiful, in addition to being quite sexy. My hair is another hunt prize, this time from Tukinowaguma and called *TKW* Hansel Hunt. You will find a rigged and an unrigged version inside your prize, and as you can see it has a bright green bow headband attached and is a very deep ombre.
We have some more alluring lingerie to see, this beautiful set is from Glitzz and is called Becky in Pink. As you can see, I did add a couple of white dots to hide my nipply bits, hehe, as this set is artfully crafted from mostly lace in a gorgeous color. I accessorized with the TABOU Old Collar female version, and their prize does include the male version as well. I was struck by the softly shaded cracks in the metal, you can tell this piece has been well worn and much loved.
Is all this hunting making you hungry? If so, be sure to find the book at Zombie Suicide for a sweet treat. Their Z.S. Mouth Cookie is a tasty nibble, and our avis don't have to worry about pesky things like calories or food allergies so they can enjoy this in comfort.
One last look of the evening, I am showing the prize from Love which is the gorgeous Honeysuckle hair Fat Pack with HUDs for brunettes, candies, gingers, greyscale, mystics, oddities, ombres, pastels, and roots & streaks. Our prize from Supernatural is a trio of Juno Leggings in system layers along with appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, Slink Body, Slink Feet, and TMP. As you can see, they are rather like stockings and they are sheer enough in the panties area that I again added a few white dots to hide more bits that may not be suitable for all audiences. The designs on the mid thigh include crosses, cats, and paws, but they are simply labeled by numbers, 1 or 2 or 3. Not a part of the hunt but certainly a part of my outfit here is a Marketplace gift from Baby Monkey called Baby Tees Basics. It includes system layers and HUDs for Slink, Belleza, Maitreya, and Omega so you can use with your classic avatar or most of your favorite mesh bodies. Baby Monkey may be best known for their fabulous shoes, but I am very pleased that Pixie also creates a nice variety of clothing.
If you have been noticing my eyes (especially visible in the 3rd photo with the cookie), I have excellent news about them. They are a brand new release from Inkheart called Eternal Eyes in Malice, and they are the current SLF&O group gift. You can join that group for free if you aren't already a member, and pick up these stunning peepers for absolutely free. They may be my new favorite eyes, even though they aren't my usual preference of brown to reflect my real life shade. They come in 4 sizes and mesh versions along with system versions, so they should be suitable for many mesh heads as well as classic heads.
I am running late tonight because my weekend visitor has just left, on a safe journey to their home so now I'm just looking forward to their return in a couple weeks for Thanksgiving. Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is not about the endearing movie Hocus Pocus (which I'll be watching again in a few hours) but rather an SL event also named Hocus Pocus. You can claim lots of free gifts by visiting each store and saying "hocus pocus" in local chat (all lower case) near the sign and magic bottle that reminds me of a glass candle in a jar. You have at least a 30% chance of winning and can try once every 24 hours, until November 4th. If you get impatient you can always by the prize for $50L instead. You can get a HUD for free on the Marketplace or by clicking the signs to help you TP quicker from place to place, and it shows a preview of the prize for each store right in your viewer screen, but the HUD isn't required to claim them. I find it very handy though :) There are still quite a few prizes I haven't won yet, but I wanted to show you some of them tonight before it gets too late to claim any of them.
This look features a few different prizes, let's start with the clothing...this romper is from Bodhi and comes in several mesh sizes: Small, Medium, Maitreya, Freya, Isis, Venus, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique. The terrific shoes are from Dilly Dolls and are called Glinna, they come with a HUD that adjusts the fit for Maitreya or Slink Mid, and offers 4 color options along with the choice of having the strap black or the same color as the stripes. On the right above, I changed the purple in the middle to Black Strap but left it matching the other colors. If you are admiring my hair, the good news is that it is also a Hocus Pocus prize, this one from Love and called [Blush]. It is a very generous gift too, including a full fat pack of color HUDs (blondes, brunettes, candies, gingers, greyscale, mystics, oddities, ombres, pastels) plus an exclusive Hallow HUD.
This is the same romper and same hair (this color choice is from the Hallow HUD) but here I have added a new buddy whose acquaintance I am very pleased to make! This is the prize from PSYCHO:Byts called Familiar Cat - Poison. He does have a vial around his neck that seems to be glowing ominously, and he is animated so he was a bit wiggly while I was posing for our photo. He looks like a moss-tinted Siamese or Snowshoe, one of those colorpoint breeds that are so elegant looking.
Another hair color change, and another outfit...this lingerie is our prize from Goth1c0 called Vampy Lingerie. It is included in system layers along with HUDs for Lolas, Omega, Maitreya, Belleza, and Slink. So detailed with those delicate closures in the front and the lacing in the back! I imagine it would take considerable magic to get them all closed, or to open them carefully in a hurry. I accessorized with our gift from Indulge Temptation, their !IT! Deadly Necklace which comes with a handy HUD offering 10 metal choices and 16 colors for each the bow and the gem (coffin) so there are countless possibilities of combinations to suit any mood or outfit.
I have so many gorgeous nails to show you, starting with this amazing gift from Hello Dave. Their prize is this Hocus Pocus HUD for Slink and Omega, with 35 varieties (5 versions each of 7 styles/colors) so I'm showing a very random sampling here. I think I'm partial to the marbled purple and the stormy night looking deeper purple, but it all depends on what you're wearing and what colors you favor.
Another wonderful gift is this Stitched Slink HUD from Bella Elephante, which offers 10 designs with that Nightmare before Christmas vibe. Look like Sally, or enjoy these year round as I intend to.
One final look of the night, this is the prize from DP Koffin Nails called Witch's Brew fatpack. You will receive HUDs for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink, each with 5 choices with different potion colors and background colors for the steam wafting from the cauldrons at the tips. All it takes is a bit of luck and lots of magic.
I am still having crashing issues in SL and even crashed when I was trying to take the first photo here...the best thing for me to do is try to reduce my inventory some more and try to be patient, easier said than done. I am still here, just a bit frustrated and slower than usual. At least I was able to login today, unlike Saturday morning. Hiya everyone! Halloween is less than two weeks away, so plenty of places are clearly in the holiday spirit and the Candy Fair 2016 is a perfect example. When you visit to shop for sweet treats of all kinds, you will also see some signs with little green guys holding bowls of candy. Be sure to click them all, so you can claim some trick-or-treat goodies :) No group needed, everyone can take part in the festivities while admiring the gorgeous layout and fun offerings.
I am enjoying these colors a lot, even matching my umbrella and my hair for fun :) The hair is our gift from Wasabi Pills called Willa Mesh Hair - Candy Fair 2016 Gift and comes in regular, boobs, and flat versions so you can pick whichever suits your avatar best. The green-purple ombre is accentuated by that purple swirl barrette which is a part of the hair itself. The umbrella from Organica comes in black/orange as well as the purple/green shown, and there is a hold pose separate so you can provide your own pose if you prefer. My delicious looking bodysuit is our gift from *Epic*, their Omega Dripping Henley Bodysuit in Liquorice and Orange. As the name implies, this is simply an Omega HUD (sorry, no system layers) so it will work with a variety of mesh bodies. I love the little buttons and the pockets, sweet details that make a difference.
More hair and more fun treats! This hair is the gift from Love called Send My Love, and includes rigged and unrigged versions plus a fatpack of HUDs for the colors: blondes, brunettes, candies, gingers, greyscale, mystics, oddities, ombres, pastel, and roots & streaks. The one shown above on the left is from the gingers HUD, the right from the Mystics. My avi is enjoying the BananaN Gingerbreadman voodoo treat in her mouth, and holding the Blueberry Hill frank pop for later noms. I included closer views so you could appreciate just how cute they both are! The headband I'm wearing is also a fair gift, the Rotten Hairband from Dichotomy which has a HUD with 5 color choices.
There is more hair to be found in all those great gifts, the one I'm wearing here is one of the 4 colors from the [Mello] Hide&Seek Candy Fair Gift, this is Pumpkin Spice. The others include Cauldron, Zombie, and you'll see the fourth color in the next photo ;) So how precious is my new narwhal friend? Click the bowl of candy at the Paper Rabbit display and you can claim your very own holiday themed narwhal for free. I am also wearing the gift from Blah., the Donut Ring which comes with a resize HUD, and you can see a closer look at that on the right. On the left inset is a better glimpse of my lipstick, one of 6 colors in the alaskametro <3 gift called "TuttiFrutti" lipstick. This is shade 01, and all the shades are included in system layers plus appliers for Catwa, Lelutka, and Omega.
My last look for the evening is another [Mello] hair, the Spellpower deep purple color of the hair from the previous photo. I am also wearing another shade of the Tutti Frutti lipsticks from alaskametro <3, this one being #04 of the 6. I am also holding a gift from [LJ] and elephante poses, who collaborated to bring us our very own replica of the sign and purple and green guys who hold the bowl we are clicking to receive all these treats! Now you get to see what you will be looking for at the event, and this particular gift is a wonderful souvenir of the event.
There is an eye note tonight, these are the Choco Eyes from (*ANGELICA) and they are one of the gifts from the fair as well, coming in dark and light as well as system and mesh versions for each shade. I have a few more goodies from the fair to show you tomorrow, which just goes to show how very many gifts can be found there. It was worth braving the crowds to see the amazing setup they have there, and I can easily see spending way too many lindens at those gachas. Whoever invented the idea of gachas in SL is an evil genius, LOL!
