Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is back on the Twisted Hunt trail, showing you some of the wonderful prizes found inside those spinning cubes. Remember, this is known as the hardest hunt in SL, so be sure to check out their website for guidelines and helpful tips. There are up to 10 visible decoys in addition to the real cube at each stop, and as you can guess from my title tonight the theme this round is Inferno. That inspired lots of fiery looking prizes, and some fascinating side hunts :) There were some very familiar stores along with a few that were new to me, so I enjoyed both aspects of this challenging event.
First we have the {Get Frocked} Twisted Hunt Gown, a lustrous bare shouldered gown with slender draped straps and a flirty slit in the front. The prize includes standard mesh sizes plus versions for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine.
This fun dress is one of the prizes from Little 2 Large, who actually have 3 main prizes and 7 side hunt prizes waiting for you. This L2L Inferno Dress comes in fitmesh standard sizes along with eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP versions, and there is even a mens shirt, vest, and pants included in this prize. The other main prizes are for other types of avatars. For this look we also visit Roped Passions to find their cube, packed with a male prize (shirt) and a female prize. That would be the (RP) Inferno Heels I am wearing here, which come in sizes for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink High. These will look terrific with many of the hunt prizes this round that have a flame pattern on them, but I can also see using them to spice up a little black dress.
This look is from the cube at Dramazone, appropriately named Devilish V1. It starts with a dress (with built in panties) in a Maitreya size, adorned by fingers attachments for left and right breast and pelvis. It also includes animated wings, the animated tail, horns, fork with dancing flames, and heels plus skull add-ons for the heels in Maitreya size. (Confession- I am wearing Slink High feet and they almost fit!) You can wear this with as many or as few of the additions as you wish, go full on devil or just a bit impish ;) There is also a Devilish V2 in this cube, with appliers for a bodysuit and stockings instead of a mesh dress.
To claim this alluring bra and panty set (and a matching pair of boxers for the guys) you will need to find the cube at Applique` Chic. Their AC: Twisted Hunt Gift Womens comes in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP versions. I love the use of the exact texture of the cubes, it makes for a sexy souvenir of the Inferno round.
For my final look of the evening I am still wearing the Applique` Chic prize, but have added the Deadly Nightshade gift of .~DN~. Hell Cube Typer. This unisex prize consists of the typer to add and the optional base that can be adjusted for height. Add your attachments and they are invisible until you type in local chat, when they animate and flame on!
Whew, what a day...it started off with shocking bad news...my high school boyfriend (feels like several lifetimes ago, wasn't super serious) had recently gotten married and his wife died suddenly yesterday, the day before their 1 month anniversary. I was so truly happy for him to have finally found the happiness he deserves, and it's heartbreaking to know it was taken away so soon. I went to my usual farmers market with a heavy heart, but managed to enjoy myself because of the awesome people I get to see there every week. Hiya everyone! Tonight we have some more hunt prizes from the Twisted Hunt to see, their Spring 2018 round whose theme is Atlantis. If you saw my last few posts, you know that means lots of aquatic themed goodies are among the gifts hiding in those spinning cubes, which are blue and gold for this round. The locations for all participating stores are on the website, and if you really get stuck you can join their group and ask for a hint. Many stores have side hunts and extra offers like gachas and exclusive sales, so if you see an easel please click it for a notecard with details. Xan and I are almost ready to face the end game, and have no idea what to expect other than a creative challenge. With patience and teamwork, we can do wonders though, so I am eagerly anticipating it.
My first look of the evening is the stunning gown from Mishmash Fusion, their Queen of Atlantis Gown which is one of two gifts there, the other being for the gents. This dress is provided in sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and a standard fitted version, with a deep ocean texture and rich metallic accents. If you would like to decorate your living space in an Atlantis theme, be sure to check out their side hunt collaboration with EC Designs and MystRie, it is really fun and has a total of 15 prizes to find throughout the different levels. Just grab a notecard from their easels at any of those locations for information.
I was definitely intrigued by our prize from Deadly Nightshade, their Twisted Typer {Atlantis}. It consists of two simple pieces; one labeled to just add, and the other being a base to add and adjust for height. When you are not typing, you will not see the cube at all, but start typing anything in local chat and the spinning cube appears, radiating light rays as you can see above. I like the way my hands gently move to support the magic that produces this visual treat, very mystical.
Applique` Chic has found a very elegant use for the texture of our hunt cube, adorning the skirt of their AC Twisted Atlantis Gown. It comes in standard mesh sizes plus eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions, and has a hint of a train in the back. The glittery gold of the bodice is a lovely match for the cube print, isn't it?
Silks were already popular in SL when I joined in 2007, and they have evolved with the years to be somehow both modern and timeless. This beautiful set is our prize from Carrie's Lingerie, called CB~Spellbound Atlantis. The base is included in system layers and an Omega applier, while the belt with silk (flowing flexi that responds to your every move) and matching circlet for our head each have a built in resize script so you can adjust this to any shape or size. I love the colors, and the design trailing down one leg is so alluring.
My final look of the evening is perfect for your next trip to Atlantis, or any ocean you prefer in SL, maybe even a pool or hot tub. It is the prize from Foxxies, their Twisted Merkini, in sizes for standard, Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP. There is a wonderful HUD included too that lets you choose from 9 colors for your mermaid scales, and even the tiny beads at the ends of the strings and between the bra cups tint along to match.
I am happy to be tired today since I earned it ;) It was a very full day, with a grand opening of a store that is a collaboration of 4 businesses we first met at the local farmers market, who provide delicious meals and desserts with wholesome ingredients. They did a ribbon cutting ceremony with the local mayor present, and I'm just so happy for the people involved who are realizing their dreams. I also went to the market where they "graduated" from, LOL, yes that is how I tend to look at it...it is one of my happy places in life because of the folks I've gotten to know there. Hiya everyone! This morning we will be exploring some Advent calendar gifts, claimed either with a free group tag or no tag needed at all. There is no cost to you, and plenty of good reasons to make yourself a list of stores to visit each day before Christmas and claim some outstanding gifts. To make things easy, I made a subfolder in my landmarks folder, named it Advent 2017 (next year I'll refer to it again to see if those stores are offering Advent gifts again) and when I saved each landmark I noted in the name "no group" or "group tag" so I'd remember to wear any needed tags before TPing. Another source of generous treats is the Peace On Earth 10 Hunt, which will have you visiting almost 300 stores to find hidden globes that give you a prize for free when you click them. The website is very helpful for those oops moments when the landmark in a particular globe might not be updated yet, or a store has had to drop out so you need to grab the next location from their website. I really enjoy hunting with Xan, my clever partner who thinks outside the box and helps me figure out clues, and keeps me motivated with his thoughtful assistance.
This lovely wrap dress is our Advent gift for day 11 from Baci, called lu-Dunyaah-colorable. It comes what I call the lucky 13 of mesh sizes (5 standard, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, Slink) and includes a handy HUD with 9 colors you can choose from for the dress. I am loving the teal, but red is such a fantastic seasonal shade! All the colors show off the subtle embossed pattern of the fabric beautifully, and I appreciate that the style is suitable for any season. No group needed for this advent calendar, just visit and click the current date.
Emerald Couture has 3 Advent calendars, one for everyone (no group tag needed) and then for their free group's members there is a female board and a male board. This gift is from the free for all calendar, the boxes on shelves to the left of the group boards, and it is called EC Spring Fling Dress White n Black Floral. The dress has a thin belt attached that really accentuates the monochrome color scheme, and it is included in standard fitmesh sizes plus Belleza Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and TMP, while the shoes were a perfect fit for my Slink High feet. This is such a charming look, floral but not overly sweet. Now here is where I must make a confession: I did not stumble across the Inkheart advent calendar until this morning, even though I am on their blogging team. I was completely unaware, and I apologize for that. The good news is that if you join their free group, you can claim a gift each day, but if you miss any they are still free. For example, I claimed 11 of them today. They will be available until early January, so I am relieved that you will all still be able to pick up plenty of exciting eyes for free. Today I am wearing gift #11 which are called Feline Eyes - Wolf, and they are included in system layers plus mesh eyes in 4 sizes, as well as appliers for Genesis and Omega. All of their sets are provided in these same generous options, as a matter of fact.
Peace On Earth time :) This striking gown is the ALB Dream Fashions hunt prize called ALB INA dress & gown POE10, and there is a mini dress hiding beneath the fluffy skirts there that can be worn on its own. That dress is provided in standard, Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizes. Also tucked inside are gown cloud 1 and gown cloud 2 (floaty flexi skirts) and an optional glitter layer that adds lovely golden shimmer to the skirt. This is quite versatile since you can wear all the layers, just some, or go simple with just the dress.
This fun outfit from [ASHBURY] is one of two prizes inside their globe, as there is one for the guys as well as this Female Gift POE10. The Kitty Ruffled Top comes in standard sizes plus Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink, while the Kester Pants are included in standard, Belleza Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique sizes. The dangling suspenders are a neat touch with their splash of plaid.
For my last look of the day, I am indulging in two different hunt prizes that work very well together. My dress here is from Dulce Secrets, their Niamh Skating Dress Crystal, and it comes in standard mesh sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP versions. The delicate snowflake pattern made me decide to add the prize from Deadly Nightshade, their DN Winter Effects, which are providing the floating flakes you see around and in front of me. There is a notecard included to tell you how/when to wear their Winter Aura Dynamic, Winter Aura Static, and Winter Effects for typing/walking/flying. I am wearing the static aura here, and still images do not quite capture the beauty of this portable snowshower you can share with your friends.

This striking dress is the prize from Facepalm, called +FCC+ Aleera, and I was really wowed by the style and the colors available. It includes a HUD with 7 hues, and I purposely chose pink as one to show to reflect that I don't feel it is limited to traditional Halloween wear, even if it does have bats and spiderwebs decorating it. Be sure to be extra friendly to this Pumpkin McExtra in his snazzy shades and nose piercings, so he rewards you with this terrific gift.
I was also very lucky to sweet-talk the pumpkin at Pixicat finally, to part with their Bodycon Dress (Halloween), which as you can see is a fun glimpse at the skeletal system of our avatars. The dress is included in Freya, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, and can probably accommodate other bodies with some creative alpha-ing. While ideal for Halloween, there are certainly other times when we can wear this just to enjoy people's reactions, or if you happen to be interested in medicine, why not?
I really got a kick out of this prize, which is from Deadly Nightshade and is called DN Invocation Typer. It starts with the Aura which is always on and has no script, then we add the Typer attachment and when you type in local chat (as I am doing here) it makes the small candles on the bottom appear, all of which float in circles around you, and an invocation chant can be heard to be whispered. There is even a Bento animation for the hands, lots of details in this generous gift.
I hid the bangs of my hair for this one so you can see my cheeks better, as they are sporting the gift from MERCIER called Cute Halloween Stickers. They are included in Omega and Catwa appliers, and will decorate your lovely face with images such as pumpkins, bats, and a friendly little ghost. This prize is fun for young or young-at-heart avatars :)
For my last look of the night, I am pleased to show off the prize from Hello Dave, called Hocus Pocus Voodoo. There are 5 designs on their HUD, which is compatible with Slink, Omega, and Maitreya, so most mesh hands can be adorned with these creative manicures. There is always something exciting brewing at Hello Dave, so this is just an extra excuse to visit :)

Tonight we we will peek at a few more prizes from the Fall 2017 Twisted Hunt, a challenging free gridwide hunt that runs until the end of the month and whose theme this round is Victorian Gothic. The cube color (which has found its way onto many of the prizes) is Burgundy Wine, and there are many unisex prizes in addition to male and female items in the same cube or two cubes at a particular store, so if you decide to use teamwork to tackle this hunt (I do recommend it, as that helped me tremendously) bringing a guy along will benefit him as well. The other part of my blog title references a wonderful sale taking place right now on the Flawless sim, the 72 Hour Outrageous Sale! You have until the end of the day Sunday the 17th to grab a HUD at any store (shows photos and teleports you to the right location) and take advantage of some truly impressive discounts.
This autumn toned treat is our Twisted prize from JLZ Fashion, a lush gown simply called Twisted Fall 2017. There are standard mesh sizes included, and I am drawn to the details like the delicate buttons on the back and the ruched gathering in the front of the bodice.
The cube at Carrie's Lingerie holds a very sensual gift, their Twisted Gothic Mrs.C lingerie. There are several pieces for you to combine as you wish, in system layers and an Omega applier to accommodate most bodies. They include the corset, panties, and stockings, with plenty of HUD options on the applier for wearing pieces individually or combined. I am wearing all of them above, and loving that intricate black lace.
I kept the lingerie on and added another hunt prize here, this is the Deadly Nightshade Twisted Typer in Victorian Gothic. There is a base to add and adjust for height, and the typer itself to add as well, both of which are invisible until your avatar is actually typing. Then you hover slightly and the spinning cube appears, along with the base, with animation that you will want to see for yourself. I really enjoyed this entertaining gift.
If you wanted something a bit more unusual in the lingerie department, find the cube at Gross Princess and you can claim their Caged Bird Moss Lingerie. There are system layers and an Omega applier for the bra and panties, and the corset comes in standard mesh sizes. The head cage has a resize script built in, so you can fit it easily to suit your needs. I am showing it on the right without the corset so you can see the bra and panties a bit better, with the ring closures on the panties making this a very sexy look.
Time to get outrageous with Entice! This is their 72 Hour Outrageous Sale offerings, a matching top and skirt with lots of possibilities. This is the Entice Shik-Shak Shok Top and their Shik-Shak Shok Skirt, each in 8 colors for $50L each or you can pick up each fatpack with HUD for just $200L, yes they are really that low for a fatpack! Even better, if you opt for the fatpack you will receive a HUD with 2 bonus colors for a total of 10 color choices. That's only $20L per color that way. The top HUD offers a solid and a graphic design for each color, while the skirt HUD has a solid and a shimmery textured version and two color choices for the attached belt. The skirt has an over-layer that drapes down the back into a crisp point, a bit sheer for the solid colors, and I must say this outfit makes me feel like dancing. The top and skirt are each included in a fitmesh size plus Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique versions. There is a bright pink sign in each participating store that will give you the HUD upon clicking, so you can see what else is being offered and click the up arrow button to teleport to the appropriate store. As for finding this awesome bargain, turn right from the landing area then on the wall to the right with new releases, you will see these extra affordable beauties.
