ACCESS Happy Weekend

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got some more ACCESS group gifts from their Happy Weekend Anniversary event, all claimed by clicking the cutest kittens sitting atop cupcakes at most of the displays :) Who can resist the serotonin from the kitties and the virtual sugar rush from cupcakes? However the best part is the amazing gifts, which are here to celebrate the 7th anniversary of Happy Weekend. The ACCESS group whose tag we need is free to join, and the event is open until the 30th so there is plenty of time to grab demos and do some shopping too.

I'm starting with the striking {eternal dream} sordidus set {white} gift, which is one of my favorite casual outfits I've picked up recently :) The top and bloomers are both snowy white and trimmed with ruffles and bows, loose but gathered to create a very flattering outline. There are sizes for Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, and they are separate pieces. That is especially noteworthy for the next two photos as well ;)

The bloomers helped me share our //Rowers// Top Amaya Fatpack gift, which will pair wonderfully with your favorite pants or skirt too if you prefer. Carol's is offering this gorgeous Lindsay Top Light Blue as their gift for the event, and I'm such a fan of theirs that I couldn't wait to unpack it! This lovely strapless minidress is our Via Fulo Clara DRESS Rose Gift. It has fur trim at the hem that can be your choice of 16 colors via HUD. One more look of the night, we have a classic LBD (little black dress) from HORL called Yoi Dress. Its halter neck shows off just the right touch of cleavage, while the fluttery skirt is short enough to make our legs look long and lovely. My stomach is still fairly unhappy, and no I did not eat any raw veggies recently so it's not that scary bacteria thing that's going around. As much as I enjoy salads, I've been focused on cooked veg lately to protect myself, and soup is a fantastic way to enjoy them. That worked out nicely for a mild meal tonight actually, chicken and pasta (acini de pepe like you'd find in Italian wedding soup) with carrots and celery so it was a simple and nourishing meal. I'm planning on going to pick up my glasses before dinner at my parents' tomorrow, as long as my guts allow me to be in a car that long ;) Otherwise I had a good evening gaming and chatting with friends, a typical Thursday with giggles and sharing cozy games. Cuties from Carol's

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're visiting Carol's Store, where there group gifts are plentiful and the quality is impressive. Their group is just $10L to join, by the way, so that tiny investment pays for itself time and time again with regular gifts that sometimes include store credit. I mention that because right now there is a $350L store credit available to group members, and I used some of mine for a pair of jeans from their new releases to show off some tops tonight :) I've got a fair bit of credit accumulated actually, so I should probably go back soon and spend a little more. You don't have to twist my arm though, lol, I love shopping there! I just figured the store credit gift made it even more timely to invite you to visit and join if you aren't already a member.

My first look of the evening has one group gift and one item I'd already mentioned buying with store credit, and I think they look wonderful together :) Our Carol's - May Group Gift 2026 is a creamy beige halter top with a pink rosy pattern, in sizes for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Momma, Nhuma, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. I'm so happy to pair it with the Carol's - Candela Jeans Light Blue, retail price $240L but I used my store credit so I received them for free. There are several other shades too if the light blue isn't your jam, and they will fit Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Momma, Nhuma, and Reborn mesh bodies. The texturing is so well done with the shading, and the whiskering and worn spots of the denim. They are a slender fit and have a nice rise, just beneath the navel so not too low but not too high either.

Those jeans also look great with our beautiful Carol's - April Group Gift 2026. It's a slightly sheer sweater trimmed in lace and open in the front, just held closed by a single dainty button. The fabric reminds me of linen because of the delicate weave, visible fibers if you look closely, so that would be comfortable for hot days even with the long sleeves. It's a high-stress kind of day, because I'm about to start fasting for blood work tomorrow. That's never fun, mostly because my usual habit of chewing gum in the car to distract myself from the anxiety is not allowed before the blood tests. I even googled which blood tests chewing gum can affect, and TSH (thyroid) which I'm having done is one that the act of chewing can alter the results. Bleh. At least I can have water, so that is helpful :) Because the lab isn't my only stop tomorrow, I won't have time to prepare a blog post so I am taking the evening off from blogging. My usual Thursday evening gaming with friends is also canceled, but that's because my friend is sick and has very little voice to chat on the phone, plus her eyes are bothering her so looking at a screen to play a game is not the best move. Poppy Shop and Hop

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post comes from the Poppy region of the Valentine Shop & Hop event, where you'll find 20 stores with discounted offers and gifts for all. I was very briefly into the scrapbooking craze of the 90s, so these are reminding me of the fancy scissors and hole punches that I bought at the time :) I would absolutely still use those to create guides to paint my RL nails too, although they are not nearly this long. 

Whew, it was nice to have a day off from blogging but also great to be back :) The outing went well, nothing really noteworthy, and we were above freezing today so that helps get rid of a little of the snow and ice out there. Tonight I got to chat with a friend while we played games, and it was so fun hearing about her experiences seeing the monks who were walking for peace. That was a rare opportunity that I appreciated hearing about :) Tomorrow is dinner with the parents, and I'm 90% sure I know what I'll be blogging but I do have to allow for those last minute "hey this event is happening and ends in 2 days" things that seem to sneak up on me sometimes.  Hiya everyone! Tonight we're back at the Holiday Shop & Hop event, this time on the Lavendar region, to check out some of the many generous gifts to be found. Between those and the discounted offers, you really don't want to miss this wonderful opportunity to get to know some of SL's top designers and see what they create for all of us. Red is one of those versatile colors that might make you think of Christmas this time of year (especially paired with green), Valentine's Day in a month or so, or just a red hot dress or outfit any other time of year. So the Jojo's Fashion - Djoe Outfit Red gift is going to be fun all year long :) This sexy bodysuit comes in sizing for Legacy, Bombshell, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, with a HUD that offers 14 colors for the belt and 4 gems. "Peace - Joy - Love" is a perfect message for all of us, no matter what time of year, so I'm thankful for Les sucreries de Fairy and their * Carmine Outfit * gift ♥. Our new corset and matching skirt are each provided in Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh body sizes, deep cranberry red with charcoal trim. The skirt has built in panties that really do help since it's such a micro mini, and the little ruffled edges all over make me smile. Happy New Year 🥳!! I don't usually do New Years resolutions because they tend to always sound the same and get ignored a week later, LOL, but I do take stock of things that improved in the previous year and what I need to focus on for the incoming fresh start of a new year :) My anxiety and agoraphobia have become less debilitating in some ways, and I'll gladly celebrate any health improvement. I'm still working on positive self-talk, being as kind to myself as I would be to others, and I'd really like to find a gentle exercise program that I can do at home. It would also be good to clear some things off my poor tivo, which is groaning at an awkward 96% full. I've been hearing fireworks for the past 7 hours off and on, and it is officially the new year in my time zone now, so I am excited and curious about what 2026 will look like. Gifts for SLMB

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got a few group gifts to share for the SLMB or ^^ SL MESH BODY group, which has a small $9L fee to join. There are lots of wonderful designers who are able to send group notices to tell us about their sales, new releases, and special offers, so we can stay up to date on multiple stores at once. Many of them are kind enough to offer gifts for the group members as well, and that is what I am showing you tonight :) I never know what I'll find, so these are lots of fun for me to compile and tell you all about.

My first stop was Carol's Store, where I gratefully grabbed their Jennifer Dress Pink gift for us. I love the spaghetti straps, the hot pink hue, and the flirty skirt, among all the fantastic details :) It is provided in sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Khara, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Momma, and Reborn mesh bodies. This beauty is what inspired this entire post actually, as I was visiting the store and wound up mesmerized by this generous gift.

Over at TRS Designs, there are several varieties of this playful tunic dress for various groups. Ours is the Carter Dress Teal, and while the SLMB sign seems to have vanished (maybe SL didn't feel like rezzing it for me, lol) I could claim it by clicking :) I did the trick of right click - edit then see what group it's listed as, which turned out to be the tag I was wearing. Whew! There are Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Khara, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Prima, Prima Petite, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh body sizes enclosed. The bold stripes in the same color family as the backdrop give it a great look, and I think it will work just as nicely as a long shirt over some jeans or leggings as it does as a dress.

Time to turn up the heat with our ~Rany~ Night Break Dress gift! Our dress, bow, and underpants are each separate pieces, in sizing for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra (Bimbo, Low, Original), Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn bodies. The fabric of the dress has tiny animated sparkles, twinkling subtly against the dark material, and the underpants are sheer lace that show through the cutout on the booty. I'm really liking the style of this one, and if modesty is a concern I'm sure it would look great with high waisted BOM panties beneath :) I try to think of alternatives for my more revealing looks, not that I'm offended but intending to be helpful so people don't automatically dismiss them as unwearable if they don't fit the dress code of your favorite hangouts as is.

Next we see the striking Lara AC Dress Zara RED gift for SLMB. The best way to find this is to use their teleport pad to zip over to the Group Gifts area, where you'll find treats for many groups you are probably already familiar with. This lovely dress comes in Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh body sizes. I'm a really big fan of single shoulder looks, and the attached belt kicks things up a notch, much like the notches on the hem ;) 

For my final look of the evening, I visited V8 Underground where I found their **EMILY MARTY BLACK URBAN STYLE COMPLET OUTFIT** waiting for us. While it says 'black' in the name though, it actually includes a HUD with 20 colors each for the dress and boots, plus 2 metals. Both of those pieces of the outfit are provided in sizes for Belleza Classic, Belleza Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies.

It was a busy but good weekend here, and I got some especially tasty food from the farmers market that'll last for a couple more days. There was a BBQ place set up with smokers going, and even their mac & cheese wound up with a yummy smoky flavor so my tastebuds are happy. This week is going to be a bit busier than usual because of a guest coming Wednesday night until the following Monday, who will be helping with some of the cooking my mom and I will be freezing for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. Our lovely Carol's Store March Group 2025 gift is a sweet sundress in pale cream with a red floral pattern, and I really enjoy the lace midriff to match the trim in the cleavage.  Hiya everyone! Tonight we are diving into the gifts from Tres Chic, who are celebrating their 10th anniversary this round. Their group is free to join, and the VIP tag lets you claim many generous gifts at various displays. Rounds at Tres Chic are just 2 weeks long and this one opened on the 16th, so we have until the 30th to complete our shopping and enjoy finding the treats :)

I started out with the .little fox. - Zella corset top // lila (plain pack) gift. This flirty bustier is a sweet summery lilac hue, and has lace trim and a bow at the base of each strap. There are sizes for Belleza Classic, Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Reborn, Waifu, and Waifu Rolls mesh bodies, along with a HUD that offers 35 colors apiece for the lace and bows. My adorable skirt is our #SHYDOLLS // Expresso Skirt group gift, black with silvery stripes and an attached beaded belt in Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh body sizing. The enclosed HUD has 13 choices for the pearls of the belt, some solid colors and some are a mixture of hues as you can see on the right above :) I do love the versatility of both!

CALITHEA has a captivating gift for us called Kosara Set . Barbie. Its vibrant pink color sure does suit the name, and there are 2 versions for each piece so you can choose with or without eyelet lace openings. Both top and skirt are provided in Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu sizes. Both the eye-catching cross on the waistband and the clever cinching detail at the back of the top contribute to the outfit's distinctive appeal.

If you want to combine a couple of the group gifts to create a cozy yet flirty lounging outfit, I suggest starting with our Carol's Store- Naomi Top Beige treat. My final look of the evening is our daringly delightful N-Uno - Afira Dress // N 3 gift. It was a fairly quiet day, other than listening to the rain outside that is. Still Celebrating Cosmo

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it's time to head back to the Cosmopolitan Event for their 13th anniversary, second round of the month. It's a part two with all new group gifts, so it is very much worth revisiting if you stopped by earlier in the month. You'll need their free group tag active, and click any of the wooden crates you find for your treats :) Their rounds are brief, but they bring the heavy hitters of SL designers to provide impressive sales offers, and this time of year there are plenty of group gifts for us to enjoy as well.

My first look comes from Via Fulo and is their Starla Dress Gift. The bold yellow made me think of sunshine, but perhaps also because of its glossy texture :) We receive sizing for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. If you look closely you'll see that the skirt is rather sheer, but also that there are panties built in so we do have some privacy for our nether regions. I'm still dazzled by the vibrant color, and I am not even usually that big on the color yellow but this hue has captivated me.

Next we're getting a little provocative with the Faida - Gia violet gift :) This is the type of bodysuit for when you are celebrating a special occasion and offering yourself as the gift, LOL, as it is revealing and tied with a huge bow in the front. There are Gen X Classic, Camel Kups, Camel Toy Kup, Camel Toy UP, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Prima Busty, Prima Petite, and Reborn mesh body sizes included. I honestly don't know what a few of those are, my first time seeing a size with the word camel in it, so it's either new or just new to me :) Besides the bow, my favorite part of this would have to be the color, since I am a purple fan in any hue.

Sometimes fate brings a terrific pairing among the many gifts for an event, as with the top and jeans you see here. Our Carol's Store- Brianna Crochet Light Blue gift is a sweet halter top with carefully woven lace and a solid weave for the bra cups to provide proper coverage while being a warm weather delight. The charming #SHOOSH - Viktoria Dress & Corset is a playful treat in two pieces that are each a different shade of lush satin. The red dress and white corset each come in Belleza Classic, Belleza Curvy, Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes, and the dress can be worn without the corset layer if you choose. Both have golden trim, the side zipper on the dress and the corset's loops that look like piercings, plus the corset zipper that ends in a pentacle shaped pull :) Anyone else have a hard time recalling which is the pentacle and which is a pentagram? I've got to remember that pentacle and circle end in the same few letters, hence the pentacle is the one with the ring around the star.  I do love that type of tool to remember random things.

My final look is the Orphic + badders' suzie ballet dress gift, with a quick explanation of the name. The current store brand is Orphic, and there is a notecard enclosed that says that badders' was their prior store name so that's why you see both names here. This dress is steamy thanks to the very short bubble skirt, in sizes for eBody and Legacy mesh bodies with a HUD offering 8 colors. Because of how brief the hem is, I added a pair of panties from the marketplace - Lilbird GIFT Simple BOM panties, which come in several colors and are a free gift. Naturally by the time I chose my poses and took the pictures, I realized that the panties are barely visible even though when I first tried the dress on I could see...well I almost want to quote Kate McKinnon and the alien abduction skits here for a snarky way of saying my entire private areas front and back ;) I'm still listing the panties in my credits, and warning you that you may give someone quite an eyeful if you go commando somewhere in this hot dress. For some that's a feature and not a bug, so go get 'em tiger!

Usually I do outings on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but since my appointment yesterday was an outing I am doing Monday and Wednesday this week instead. The result of course is confusion, since I seem to thrive on consistency and routine. My plans tomorrow are so early that there is a slight chance of it interfering with my blog schedule, meaning if I cannot get my booty in gear fast enough I may have to skip tomorrow evening. I'll be short about 4 hours of sleep, so my body might decide I need to use blog prep time for resting instead. Otherwise it was a good day, more adventures with Hello Kitty and her cozy game, and I am looking into a few potential things for upcoming blog posts.  Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is full of gifts from the Jubilant region at the Valentine Shop & Hop 2025, just one of 14 regions each containing 20 displays from some incredible SL designers. We can also add any or all of the three mermaid gown flexi pieces, which are labeled left, right, and middle, seen above on the left. The right is what the gown looks like without the additions, equally lovely and simply a matter of personal preference. I think a fun way to accessorize would be a ruby jewelry set, then shoes in whichever metal the jewelry is comprised of, since rubies look so nice in either silver or gold.

Tea Lane has several generous gifts waiting for us, so I'm sharing 4 of them in my final look of the night. Each day this week went so slowly, yet the week itself somehow flew by? Yes I am puzzled, but glad to be moving onto the weekend and a chance to take a break. I've got some household things that need handling, and I might take another look for some missing paperwork that I don't need right this moment but might soon. My stomach is still not too happy with me, but lately it really isn't ever calm. I think some meditation is in order, plenty of videos out there that could prove useful for a beginner.
