SL Frees and Offers

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post features group gifts for the SLFO or SL Frees & Offers group, which is free to join making all of these gifts completely free of charge. I have been a group member for a very long time now, and certainly enjoy being kept up to date on the happenings in SL as much as I appreciate the generous gifts. Sometimes I wind up visiting stores that are new to me, others are trips to classic favorites, and all are a fun adventure to explore :) The in-world group chat is helpful too, and you might make a new friend while reading about the hottest offers of the moment. 

First I visited EVOLVE SHOPPING where I claimed this dazzling NONA RED as their current SLFO group gift. It comes in Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes, all with that daring deep V neckline and gathered skirt. The red has an orangey tone to it that will make it stand out compared to most other reds in your inventory. 

If you want something sporty yet sexy, please visit *giselle* with that SLFO group tag active so you can pick up their Undress me-0509 outfit. Its top and shorts are linked to wear as one piece, in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. There is also a HUD with 16 choices each, so you can mix and match for any look you desire. Curious about the "undress me" part? Well there is also a menu you or anyone else can access by clicking the clothing itself, which will ask you to authorize your/their use, then offer the choices to show one breast, show both breasts, undress completely, or get dressed again. The stripping script is very popular these days, as I am about to show you again...

Next we head over to Gigi Vox, whose SLFO group gift is the flirty Undress me Dana 128 outfit. It is provided in Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and Werewolf body sizing, with a HUD offering 11 colors each for the top and skirt. There is also a very similar script to the prior gift, as you or someone else can click this clothing and you will be asked to authorize your/their use, then the options are to undress bra, undress top, undress skirt, fully undressed, or fully dressed. The top portion has two layers as you can see, the large ruffle and the simple bra beneath (right above) so this is certainly a playful gift. 

FABOO has a fantastic gift for us too, their KEY WEST - SOLIDS 2 outfit. The tube top and panties are each included in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes. There is also a HUD with 16 color choices for each, as well as a % button that lets you adjust the transparency like I have done on the top on the right. My final look this evening comes from Hot Fuss and is their lovely "Mia" Dress. It comes in standard mesh sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body versions. There were two HUDs included that looked identical and said color chain HUD menu, but neither of them did anything when I clicked them. This could have been SL being glitchy, but it is worth mentioning just in case :) I was having issues with landmarks not opening, but other HUDs worked during this login so I simply cannot tell what was going on. Honestly I like the chains the color they are, so if that is the only way I can ever wear them I will still be very happy and grateful for this gift. I am intrigued by the flirty style too, showing just enough without showing too much. 

I am slow tonight because I was distracted by hockey, LOL, which is not all that unusual but I do apologize for running a bit behind. I tend to try to get things started earlier when a game is coming on, but it doesn't always work out I guess. Otherwise it was a chilly and snowy day, and I am glad I was inside for it. The prediction is now up to 14" of snow, so they raised the expected amount by a couple of inches, which is unfortunate. My house generator doesn't seem to function in extreme cold, so if the power fails I might be in for an unpleasant time. Free as a Dove

Hiya everyone! Tonight I had realized that it had been a while since I shared some gifts from The Free Dove here, so I happily headed over to see what caught my eye. All of tonight's looks can be found on one of the Women's Casual displays, the same one that is, and my link should provide a red arrow or beacon to guide you there. Don't limit yourself to that one display though, as there are gifts for men and ladies all throughout the building that can all be claimed with the same "Blessed by a Dove" free group tag. Xan has found some nice outfits for himself there, and I know they have hair on one wall as well as a shelf or two with skins and shapes. This is one of those landmarks that I keep on hand to give to any new resident I run into who would like help looking good without spending a fortune all at once, and some of us old timers can appreciate saving some lindens too :) There are gifts compatible with both classic avatars and mesh bodies/heads, which is very useful information too. 

First we have the AnaSTyle gift called Pamela, consisting of the dress and coordinated boots. The dress comes in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP versions. It has a halter of straps holding it in place, very sexy! The boots are also daringly strappy, and come in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. 

This ravishing red mini is our gift from MONOMANIA called Lumia Ruby. It is provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies, plus 5 standard sizes for classic avatars. The sleeveless style is held in place with two buckled straps in the back beneath one across the collarbones, giving this a very flirty rear view.

EVOLVE APPAREL is also offering a generous group gift for us, their Good Vibrations dress. It has a high neckline and long sleeves but a very short skirt, and a clever pattern throughout. The gift includes sizes for Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya bodies, with a 4 color HUD so you can pick your favorite each time you wear it. 

Another sexy strapless mini dress can be found on that same display, this time thanks to GISELLE. Their gift is called dress 0207-18, and has gold studs across the top that match the buttons in the back above a semicircle cutout. It comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, with a 12 color HUD for delightful variety.

My final look of the evening is the Free Dove group gift from ISHARA STORE called Naroa V2. It starts with the halter style mini dress with asymmetrical hemline held together by wide straps, with a zipper detail in the back and center panels of deep red with black floral pattern. Lipstick note of the night: I also wandered over to the skin and makeup areas, and found an entire display by alaskametro<3 with their "Rose Gold" makeup palette as one of the generous gifts. I chose lipstick 02, simply because I wanted a little something extra for my lips :) Subtle, yet a beautiful look that enhances without overpowering. 

Today was my mom's birthday ♥, but we are not going to celebrate until our usual Friday dinner together. We live in weird times, and traditional celebrations have become rather awkward, so we are exercising patience and caution. Otherwise it was a quiet day, and I am preparing for some intense weather tomorrow that will most likely entail thunderstorms and local flooding. June Arrives in Style

Hiya everyone! Tonight I was craving variety, so I visited several stores to claim their Stay at Home Club gifts. They are all free, and I am consistently impressed with the quality of the gifts as well as the generosity of the designers offering them. There are different categories on the website, and all of what I am sharing tonight is found in the Apparel section. I also wanted to bring you a sneak peek from the Audacity event, an exclusive offer for sale there from [Ari-Pari]. You deserve to treat yourself to a terrific new outfit to start the month in style!

My first look is the Stay at Home Club gift from Shar's Boutique, the aptly named Stay Safe, Stay at Home Dress. It comes in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Physique, and Maitreya mesh bodies, with a HUD that lets you choose from 4 textures. Be sure to look around when you visit, as there is a mens' gift as well as other goodies for free or very low prices. The balloon print on the right above really caught my eye for some reason, nice and cheerful.

This cheeky gift is from EVOLVE and is their FOOLS RUSH IN Coffee Table Edition. The rear view will explain why I called it cheeky ;) It includes sizes for eBody Curvy, Freya, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Tonic Curvy mesh bodies, with a color HUD offering 4 options. There are 8 numbers on the HUD but only the top row 1 to 4 actually responded to my clicking, so either SL was being funky (happening a lot lately) or there are just 4 choices. They are all very pretty colors.

I love this shirt, because I could hear it when I saw it! Yes it proves I'm old, but the song quoted on the front of the DefCon Designs: Hip Hop Tanktop brings back some memories for me. That would be Rapper's Delight by Sugarhill Gang, and it was the first rap single to make the Billboard Top 100 so it is a slice of musical history. As for the tank top, the ladies' version comes in plenty of sizes for all: 5 classic, 5 fitmesh, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. Next I visited Peperoncino, where I found this charming gift called *Burlesque*. The strapless dress has a layered look with a corset and gathered short skirt, and is provided in an unpacker HUD so you can click just the brand or sizing type you need: Belleza, Maitreya, Slink, TMP, Hybrid, or Standard. It has been one of those days, where the news is too scary to read about but too important to ignore. My country is in pain, and it hurts my heart to know that so many people are suffering things I cannot even begin to imagine. There is not much I can say as a white person who has rarely felt afraid of the police (one rough incident as a teenager was because of my age, not race or even gender) other than I support the peaceful protests and truly wish that we could all be treated properly. You can tell I am trying to avoid harsh politics on an SL blog, since I realize many people view SL as their escape from the real world and its troubles. Hopefully if you visit my blog regularly, you have seen by now that I only judge people individually based on how you treat me, not a snap decision on race, gender, or who you love. So I will wrap this up with a wish for a safe and peaceful day/evening to all of you, and plenty of magial magpie hugs to everyone!!

Take Me Down to Sin City

Hiya everyone! Tonight we visit some more stores who are taking part in the Sin City 3 Hunt, to claim prizes from the $1L female path. The website will guide you through the male and female $1L paths as well as the $25L path, so be sure to follow the hints to make sure you pick up the correct prize. All are hidden inside black drawstring bags, and the prizes are generally themed for Sin City a.k.a. Las Vegas and its many attractions. 

First we take a look at the ladies' prize from NUTS Inc called Brooke Dress. The unpacker HUD is so handy, as all you need to do is click the logo of the option you need to deliver: classic, Belleza, eBody, Maitreya, Slink, TMP, or Tonic. It sends you a folder with just the corresponding size(s) and a color HUD with 4 pretty choices, two of which you can see above. The straps in the back are creatively crafted, and they along with the front section are speckled with sequins for added visual interest.

My next look can be found at The Sissy Bar, their (TSB) DLS Sin City 3 Hunt - Ladies Sleep Shirt. There are other prizes hiding there, so be sure to follow the hint, to which I will add that figuring out the hint may make you say "oh, gacha" ;) The sleep shirt comes in standard mesh sizes as well as eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. The pretty color and heart pattern will help you slumber in style.

I also found the prize at EVOLVE INDUSTRIES, a jazzy dress called In Da Club. It is provided in 3 classic sizes (S, M, L) plus Slink and Maitreya versions, all with crossed straps in the back and a sequined texture trimmed in embroidered flowers. It made me think of all the exciting places we could wear this besides a club, and that just reminds me of how we can do just about anything in SL :)

It probably isn't truly Sin City if we don't take a walk on the wild side, right? Well I think this prize from *Lurve* is a spectacular way to do so. It is their Off The Shoulder Mini 'n Tattoo - Coal, and has several separate components. The dress with sheer lacy top/sleeves and solid short skirt is provided in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP sizing. The tattoos you see are included as system/BOM layers plus appliers for Lola, Maitreya, Omega, and Slink, so it is compatible with classic or mesh avatars. Even the black pearl necklace shown is included, and it has a resize script built in so you can just click it if you need to adjust it. I actually did not do anything to try to censor this image, so the almost visible nipples are exactly how the dress was designed. It would be very easy to wear some pasties beneath if you felt so inclined :)

My final look of the night is another daring dress, this time from the ladies path leading us to La Perla. Their gift is the Dayane Set, which starts with the delicate lace dress in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP sizing. The heels come in versions for Belleza, Maitreya, Slink, and TMP feet, and there is a HUD to color both: 20 choices for the dress, 12 for the shoes. You can have a lot of fun mixing and matching the shoes to the dress, although in both of the above looks I went for the match. There are neutrals among the options, which is always helpful.

I think I was out and about for twice as long as I'd expected this morning and early afternoon, so I am one tired magpie tonight. I really did enjoy myself though, which is what counts, and tomorrow I will be out for a few hours too so probably a bit drowsy by the time I am ready to blog. SL Frees & Offers

Hiya everyone! Tonight I am back with some free group gifts to share, all for the SLFO (SL Frees & Offers) group which is free to join. They will always have a place among my group slots, as they are a wonderful source of information on sales and gifts. Their inworld chat often has me exploring new stores and clicking midnight manias, among other handy leads, so I enjoy reading through that chat while I am logged in. There are plenty of generous designers who are offering gifts for this group, this is just a sampling.

My first stop was EVOLVE APPAREL, where I claimed this daring Get Up Silver dress for free with my SLFO group tag. It is in the center of the store, with other group gifts that each have hovertext to tell you which group it is for. Just look at that mini skirt height hem on one side, draped by an ankle length left side! This cleverly crafted gown comes in Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya versions for those popular mesh bodies.

-AZUL- has a sparkling dress waiting for us in their new location (just a little higher in the air than their previous store) that is named for the group and the month it can be claimed. It comes in sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies, with a zebra-like pattern of sequins and satin in deep turquoise.

This daring number is the SLFO gift from smesh, their SL F&O Gift Bandeau & Tunic. Each piece is provided in Altamura, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. I am going to suggest adding a bikini bottom or panties of some sort if you need a little extra modesty down below ;) The pale pastel pink is a very lovely color, should be flattering on most skin tones.

Another provocative gift is the Prism Crystal Lingerie by Jezzixa Cazalet, a sheer halter with gem-studded neckline and belt for an even more luxurious feel. I added a couple of "modesty flowers" to hide what become extremely noticeable through the floral netting. My final look of the evening is going to come in very handy soon enough, when the weather gets chilly and some sims change over to cold climates. It is from Nana and is their Elia Stars Hoodie, with fun pockets and thick shoestring ties for the hood. I love the colors, both the background shade and the lighter choice for the stars, that go so well with the trim. Whew, what a weekend...things did not go as planned, and I was not feeling well enough to travel to the birthday celebration yesterday like I had intended. I feel guilty, but also expect that I'll be there for her 94th birthday and beyond. My grandma really is a survivor! Meanwhile, I will be unable to blog tomorrow either since my dentist appointment is going to leave me groggy (nitrous) and in no fit state to put words together or provide accurate info on where to find whatever I am featuring. Weekend SLFO

Hiya everyone! Tonight I will be showing you some more SLF&O group gifts from across the grid. There are so many that it deserved another post :) I also have some happy news about group slots, I mentioned yesterday that there had been a post on the official SL blog that non-premium members were losing group slots in a few weeks but they listened to feedback and have reconsidered. (link here) It is rare for a company to react so swiftly and actually listen to their members/consumers, so I am truly impressed. That said, let's take a look at some generous group gifts for a group that deserves one of your slots no matter how many you have.

First we visit FOLDS & WRINKLES with our SLF&O group tag active, so we can claim this lovely Layla nude sand dress, sized for Maitreya mesh bodies. It is a daringly short tank style with lace texture and a ruffle at the hem. 

For a more formal look, head to FlowerDreams where their Gillian in Lilac is waiting for you to claim. It consists of a top and bottom in system layers and appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink mesh bodies, with a mesh skirt panel in standard sizes and two flexi skirt pieces. They are dusted with glittery sequins, and I love the way the top is laced in the back and tied with the bow from the under-bust ribbon. 

For this pretty top, we visit a region called Wakanda to collect this gift from FAFA. It is called Fleur Tank and comes in sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. I am wearing it with the marketplace gift jeans from Delizio that have appeared here on my blog many times before, and will continue to because of their versatility.

Time to crank up the flirt factor to maximum! This is the SLFO group gift from EVOLVE APPAREL called FEVER, and it is clearly steamy. It comes in Hourglass and Maitreya sizes, with built in thong and mostly made of fringe. I added those white "modesty flowers" in Photoshop to cover up my nipples, they are not part of the outfit or in SL.

My final look of the night is the gift DanemarkZ called DMZ - Diner Queen Nail Polish. It includes appliers for Maitreya and Omega, with 10 colors of this silvery chevron design. The one on my thumb that you can't see in this pose is white on white. I am wearing them on the Slink stiletto nails that come with their hands.

My weekend plans are starting earlier in the morning than I expected, so I will be a tired magpie by the time I get home. The treasures I pick up will be food items rather than pretty shinies though ;) One person I will be seeing is a Game of Thrones fan and will want to talk about the final season since I haven't seen her since last autumn, should be a long and animated conversation. Weekend Variety

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have many exciting things to share, seems I was craving some variety. There are selections from The Wash Cart Sale and its Sunny Side Up round, which is open to enjoy until the 16th of May. Each cart has items for $10L and can choose to offer a $50L special, so there are many ways to save lots of lindens on new clothing, accessories, home decor and more. We are also celebrating Cinco de Mayo with Entice, who has a free gift for everyone with no group tag needed. Next we visit DAZZLE for one of the many exclusives at their May round, and then we stop by the Blush event for some gorgeous LIVIA nails.

Our first stop is the Shae's Designs cart at The Wash, where I was drawn to the dramatic black Charity Outfit. It consists of the bodysuit and skirt each in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique, and the matching heels for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink High. Hair note of the night: Truth Hair released their newest group gift yesterday, and I expect you will be seeing lots of this adorable style named Jacica all across the grid and in your flickr feeds :) Those perfectly spiraling curls make me happy, and the ability to tuck them up into side buns with the Stylist HUD is a fun touch. There are bangs and wisps that can be turned off on on individually (left and right separate) and I am wearing the shorter wisps on both sides in all of tonight's photos but not the longer bangs. There is even a baseball cap that you can turn off and on, and change the image or wording displayed on the front and you can tint that to suit your mood. These gifts are always loaded with more options than a sports car, LOL, and receiving an entire color fatpack each month makes this VIP group an investment I will never regret. 

Long busy day here, but overall a good one, and I am ready to relax tomorrow for the most part. I had another technology quirk earlier, so hopefully that was the third of "things come in threes" so now I have a clean slate and things will behave appropriately. I actually figured out how to solve this one myself, although I did vent to Xan and tell him what steps I was taking, just in case he stopped me to correct something.
