Beautifully Twisted

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some more Twisted Hunt Fall 2020 prizes to share, all of which are free but you will "earn" them by searching for gently rotating lament cubes. The theme is Drow, and the color is moss-covered earth, so lots of dark green and brown that has found its way to many of the prizes as well as being the texture of the cubes. There are no hints on the website, but if you really get stuck you can ask in the in-world group. Many designers move their cube from time to time (some daily), so it wouldn't be practical to try to keep that updated on a website. We have until the end of the month to find all these tricky cubes, so just over a week remaining. Grab a friend or two (I am a fan of teamwork with this challenge) and best of luck!

My first ensemble of the evening starts with the Sarcastic Nightmare prize called :{SN}: TwistedDrowAssasins, a high waisted skirt with separate top so you can choose to wear it with or without. Each piece comes in sizing for Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies, with several dark green belts and a few straps holding the skirt in place. I accessorized with another prize, one that was found in a maze at Semi-Precious who are neighbors with Steel & Ink whose prize I already shared recently. So this is their lovely Minesnil set, a necklace and matching earrings with some arachnid vibes thanks to the webs crafted by the clever spider on the necklace. There is an included HUD that has 3 metal choices (blue, silver, gold) for the fabric, metal, and stones. The metal is the link holding the pendant, while the fabric is the webbed part of the choker and the stone appears on the spider's body. The HUD also has resize abilities, so I think you will really enjoy experimenting with it to get your look just right for you.

Applique` Chic is offering two prizes inside their cube, one for the guys and this unique AC: Twisted Drow Womens gown. It is provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh bodies. The texture gives you a good idea of what the cubes look like, and I really enjoy the daring slit and the single bare arm, and those solid green ruffles are stunning.

Next we see the flirty exclusive prize from [Ari-Pari] called Vena Laced-Up Dress - Twisted Hunt. It has laced slits on each thigh and some lacing in the back for added appeal, and comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies. There is also a HUD provided with 10 color choices, so you can match a mood or event theme with ease. As for accessories, we once again go spidery with the gifts from Moondance Boutique, where you will be looking for a total of 5 prize-filled cubes (among decoys too) to complete the Anansi collection. There are earrings, necklace, rings, and 2 different HUDs, original and seasonal colors, which each offer 28 colors each for gems 1 and 2 along with 9 metals. You can also use either HUD to resize the pieces, and be sure to click which one you want on the left side or "all" to customize them all at the same time. 

This round offers many accessories in addition to clothing and home decor, and I felt like you really needed to see this prize from Grogo's Gadgets. It is their GG: THF20 - Drow Necklace, featuring the hunt sign image on a pendant dangling from tiny versions of the hunt cube. It is a clever way to remember the hunt with jewelry, while not being obvious what it is until someone looks closely. It looks very pretty with the Ari-Pari dress in green, and I am about to show you a small peek of the same dress worn with something quite different.

We rarely get the opportunity to wear circlets in RL, which somehow makes me even more eager to wear them here in SL :) This striking look is our prize from Ashbourne & Co. called Tears of Lolith Circlet, named for the demon queen of spiders who is the chief goddess of the drow. The black band really shows off the silver spidery metalwork holding a trio of red teardrop gems, in a gorgeous color combination.

If you have ever had a day where lots of little things seemed to add up until they were ganging up on you and causing lots of mayhem, well then you have had a day like mine was, mostly the evening. Moolto Madness Continues

Hiya everyone! Tonight is another look at some prizes from the Moolto.com Madness Hunt 2016 which is a free gridwide hunt that runs until November 15th. Go to the hunt headquarters and join their group (free for now to join) and claim your free outfit that includes the magic glasses that you'll need to be wearing (along with the group tag) to click the hidden cupcakes at each location. It is a bit different than most hunts because of all that, but I found some very worthwhile prizes :) Just peek at my last 2 posts if you missed them to see what I mean. There is a wide variety of prizes and several stops included gifts for the guys, so hopefully everyone can appreciate this fun way to spend a little weekend relaxation time.

This eye-catching prize is from Sweet Distractions, called Puff Dress in Black and White. It consists of the prim skirt with resize script, and the top, panties, gloves, and striped stockings in system layers along with Omega appliers for each. Even the matching top hat is included. I added a bit of shine with the jewelry from Semi-Precious Jewelry, whose prize is their Autumn set in Silver. It includes the necklace you see and the matching earrings hidden in my hair, sorry about that :) The necklace has a handy resize script built in. 

This trio of dresses is our prize from *CNZ* and is actually one dress with a HUD for those 3 color options. The stunning Lady Web MiniDress is provided in standard mesh sizes plus Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions.

Firefly has a gorgeous outfit called Giselle Red hiding in their cupcake, and there is a lot to enjoy about it. The dress comes in many mesh sizes (standard, Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, Physique, Maitreya, and TMP) and the gift also includes the belly jewel, thin gold bangles, earrings, bindi on a system layer, and not shown is gold tattoos in system layers and Maitreya applier. My hair does hide a bit of the golden decoration on the forehead but you can see it a bit better in the inset.

If you are still on the lookout for something fun for Halloween, might I suggest looking for that cupcake at Love Lace? :) Their fun Bloody Doll Outfit has an adorable style but with a distinctive twist, she appears to have had an accident or maybe caused all that blood...that is up to your imagination. The gift consists of a mesh dress with inner and outer layers each in standard sizes (the inner layer is strapless and blood-free) with matching Slink High bloody pumps, plus the bloody hair bow and as a nod to the Doll part of the name, winding keys in silver (as shown) and gold. Such a versatile outfit!

My final look of the evening is at two prizes, both from TASHI, but found at different locations. Stop #3 in the hunt path is the Marvelous Events sim which has multiple prizes from various designers, and TASHI has their Trick or Treat nails on the left (my right hand but the left side of the photo) in 3 colors including the fantastic candy corn style. At their main store you can find their Jason nails, 5 designs including various amounts of blood splatter and a tiny homage to Jason's mask. Each set of nails includes HUDs for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, and Slink so all your favorite tips should be covered.

I had another issue with crashing that caused more of my inventory to temporarily vanish, so I think I need to take at least a day off from blogging to investigate what on earth I can do to avoid this nonsense from causing my inworld time to be stressful and unproductive. Standing around for a few hours doing nothing but rebuilding inventory is not my favorite way to spend SL time! My internet speed is excellent, about 80MB up and 80MB down, so I know that isn't the issue. I might have to sift through my inventory itself and see what in there could be creating a problem. At the very least, my inventory is going on a diet ;) The less that needs rebuilding the better! Of course I didn't help that by consoling myself with some retail therapy, buying myself another gorgeous updo from Truth Hair's discount section (all of the upstairs of the new store layout!) but I really needed a change somehow. Hiya everyone! Tonight I am sharing some prizes from the Nevermore Winter Solstice Hunt, which runs until the 10th of January so you have over a week left to find their adorable snowy owls each holding a book which I'd like to think is a Harry Potter book ;) Hedwig would be pleased! There are no hints on the website but many stores have a hint giver at the sign. Let's have a look at some of the winter themed items to be found.

First we have a gorgeous gift from #2 *GLITTER*, and if you do the hunt in order they will skip you past this one which must not have been ready right away...but I assure you, the gift is there (big hint, there's a Rezology affiliate store across the way that is also owned by them and you really ought to check there!) and contains Grace Roses Gown. She includes the gown in 5 sizes, a hoop with web, roses & pearls on it, a flexi tulle scarf, and the roses applicator for your chest. The gown itself is elegant on its own, all these extra touches just add to that. The scarf in particular adds some dramatic movement.

Prize #7 from Zalea is this adorable Skater Dress in glittery red with a playful white skirt. It comes in 3 simple sizes for Slink, Maitreya, or standard fitmesh, and I had no trouble at all with the standard size. Such a lovely gift!

Next we have our prize from SexicalMoi, #16 in the hunt, and their provocative Rouge Laced Dress. It comes with mesh skirt prims in standard sizes, system layer top and bottoms, and appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, and Omega. I accessorized with the hunt prize #10 from Semi-Precious, who are offering us this appealing crystal necklace and earrings in Bloodstone. I really like the red specks among the green of the stone.

This terrific prize is from Ayva's Attic and is #18, their Lacey Winter Coat. I love the subtle checked pattern and the lace trim at the hem, and the buttons and bows are such sweet touches. I feel warm and snuggly just looking at it! :)

This can actually serve as my nail note of the night, not a hunt prize but a group gift from Hello Dave. Maia has been always been exceptionally generous to us and this month has been rather amazing! The advent calendar gifts daily for the first 3+ weeks and now two weekly gifts on the 28th and 30th, just boggles my mind :) And these are terrific quality gifts too, that is important. Today's HUD is the 30th of December gift and has 6 different colors to choose from at the triangle base. There's some pretty glitter hiding in that wedge too, you'll notice.
