Hiya everyone! Tonight we have some Wash Cart Sale finds to enjoy, as we enter the second of the 2 weeks of the Sunny Side Up round. The carts are loaded with $10L offers, and most have a special $50L selection as well, all top quality and some new or exclusive for the event. It is one of the regular events I look forward to the most, and has been for several years now. Another taste of summer can be found by taking part in the Finders Keepers Hunt, and their Summer Loving Round which is a brief but enjoyable free hunt that lasts until the 13th. Look for beach balls, using the HUD found in their free group's notices to teleport or the links on their website where you can also find handy hints. These events really helped put me in a summer mindset.
The gamer geek in me was delighted to find these fantastic swimsuits at the JellyRoll cart at The Wash. There are 8 individual designs for $10L each, including the Swimmies Play shown on the left above, and the Swimmies Blocks you see on the right, each in sizes for standard, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. Next we explore the I.M. Collection cart, where among the many selections I chose to show you the Dolly Top and Dolly Shorts tonight, each of which is just $10L for a pack of 4 colors. The top comes in 4 splatter colors, the shorts in various shades of denim, and each are included in sizes for Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP. I kept the I.M. Collection shorts on (in denim) to wear with a Summer Loving hunt prize, the top from {le fil casse} called Rosie Tank. It is included in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya sizes, just find that hidden beach ball and you can claim it for free.
Every summer wardrobe needs a bikini, and I was lucky enough to find this in the ~Nerido~ beach ball for free. It is their Summer Bikini (Maitreya) - Summertime, with delicate seasonal artwork and pretty beads on the ties. It comes in a Maitreya size that might work for other bodies, you never know until you try.
Another staple for summer is a great manicure, and the prize at Dark Passions from their Koffin Nails line is an excellent choice. Their Summer Lovin' Fatpack offers 6 designs with pretty palm tree silhouettes, in HUDs for Slink, Maitreya, and Omega. The colors will look lovely with all your warm weather clothes, and the teal one reminds me of Miami Vice.
It was another hectic technology day, that Windows update keeps trying to force itself through and since I have the Home version (not Pro or higher) it can't be put off forever. So I have to let it go through and hope the patch they released yesterday does the trick, otherwise I'll be letting someone else deal with the problems it causes because that sort of thing is above my pay grade ;) That could mean I will be unable to blog tomorrow evening though, it is hard to tell yet, and I have company coming tomorrow night for a few days so my online time may be somewhat reduced. I will still blog whenever I can, since I have lots of wonderful things yet to show you of course, and keep you informed if I know ahead of time that I'll be taking a day off. Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is another fun-filled look at some prizes from the Hocus Pocus event in SL. Grab the HUD to help you teleport to each store (and it shows previews of the prizes) from the marketplace or event office for free, then at each location you will see a playful pumpkin named Pumpkin McExtra. Say "hocus pocus" to him in local chat, without the quotes, and he will either reward you with a prize or tell you to return in 24 hours to try again. Alternatively, you can purchase the prize for $50L until the event ends on the 5th of November. There are some fantastic gifts awaiting, you just need a little luck that Pumpkin McExtra is feeling generous.
First we have a flirty tube top from Faida which is simply called Hocus Pocus and comes in a single size that perfectly fits my Maitreya body. Check out that skull on the front, who seems to have been nomming on something or someone since he's got a bit of blood on his teeth. With all that exposed neck, I decided it was the perfect opportunity to show off another Hocus Pocus prize, the Goth1c0 Heart Choker purple. It has a resize script built in for easy adjusting, and I love the intricate carving surrounding the purple heart. That rose above and teardrop below are fantastic touches!
If the Pumpkin McExtra at Decoy is impressed by your magic, you will receive two shirts in one generous prize to enjoy for Halloween or whenever. On the left is Decoy Halloween Crop Top - Basic Witch, on the right their Halloween Crop Top - Pumpkin, each included in a Maitreya mesh size. A lot of these stores cater specifically to Maitreya wearers since they are such a large slice of the mesh body wearing population. You probably noticed the adorable collar I'm wearing, well that is our Hocus Pocus prize from Noyel called Spoopy Collar. The carved pumpkins as the O's in spoopy made me smile, and a clever match for the pumpkin version of the Decoy shirt.
I also found that the Pumpkin McExtra at Olive was in a good mood, so he gave me these terrific BunTEA Mugs to treasure. There are wearable and rezzable versions of each that you see here, and you might notice that they are steaming hot so be careful ;) The left hand version is the blue one with white bunny head marshmallows, and the right hand one has green marshmallows floating inside so I wonder if they are mint flavored. The tea bag tags are adorable, aren't they? They do have hold poses built in too, so you don't spill your tasty new beverage.
This gift cracked me up, and after yesterday's post with my explanation about choosing to censor myself a bit (nipple coverage) it was all too appropriate that I won the prize from Little Llama today. This is their Censored outfit, with 3 different shades (I am wearing the second, untinted) that are tintable and unrigged so you can modify them as needed, and it is worth mentioning that the texture is animated so those little pixels move around. This makes for a hilariously sexy Halloween costume, or just something to enjoy when you feel mischievous.
There are a few nail related prizes in this year's round of Hocus Pocus, and I am delighted to show you one tonight :) This is the Dark Passions - Koffin Nails - Fatpack - Mischievous Binx, and that includes appliers for Maitreya, Slink, and Omega. Each HUD has these 6 designs to choose from, various background colors for a black cat with glowing yellow eyes who was probably named for Binx from the Hocus Pocus movie. I was going to wait for Halloween to watch, but I might have to indulge a day early, too tempting!
Today I mostly rested, and am still having plenty of coughing fits but I think my throat feels a little better and my sinuses might be a bit clearer. Hiya everyone! I hope you are all ready to enjoy some more looks from the Twisted Fall Hunt 2016, the hardest hunt in SL! I have been so lucky to have Xan's help throughout this hunt, we make a great team and it is useful to have a different perspective on things. Tonight's prizes do feature a lot of blue, the color of the cubes we are seeking, but a lovely variety of shades and tones so it didn't feel the same to me at all. I am excited about these, as with so many of these prizes!
My first elegant look is our prize from #81 Rowena's Designs, their Divinity Dress and Necklace. The style and color are terrific, and the dress even has a slight train in the back for added drama. Our gown includes what I call the lucky 13 of mesh sizes (5 standard, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink Physique) and the necklace comes as a chest attachment and a spine attachment.
Just head over to the other side of the same building to look for cube #82 from Precious Designs, and you can claim your very own PD Divination Gown. The full skirt and amazing texture are highlighted by the lighter blue belt and top ornamentation, and the bow on the skirt has an elegant feel rather than overly sweet. This treat comes in standard mesh sizes plus Belleza, Maitreya, Hourglass, Slink, and TMP versions. So beautiful!
Our prize from Nightshade puts me in mind of a breathtaking night sky, scattered with stars and with deep shades of blue and purple. This is the [.NS-Riel.] Gypsy Wanderer dress in standard mesh sizes, and it also includes the pretty scarf seen on the right. Because of the violet tones in the dress, I also paired it with another prize on the left, our Hudson's Amethyst Jewel Set from cube #75. That includes the necklace and earrings with resize scripts built in, and just look at the inset where you can see a closeup of that gorgeous gemstone with the delicate cross beside it.
Lomo by [IBAN] is #89 in our hunt path out of 91 stops, and their Mesh Dress Diva Steel made me think 'samba' for some reason. It certainly deserves to go dancing! Provided in standard, Hourglass, Physique, and Maitreya sizing, this sizzling number has a lot of style and even features the cube texture on the top. Love the flash of purple in the back, and the glittery look of the pale blue skirt is intriguing.
One last look for tonight, I have been enjoying these great nails from Dark Passions/Koffin Nails in all of these images. This is their Elemental Fire fatpack, which means it includes HUDs for Maitreya, Omega, and Slink hands and feet so a wide range of nails can be colored in your choice/s of 5 hues each representing an element. The design on there is a subtle one, which can be a nice change from the more wild ones I sometimes lean towards. My nails deserve variety and yours do too :)

Hiya everyone! Most of the prizes I've shared from the Twisted Hunt have had necklines that would not have showcased necklaces to their full advantage, so I found one that would and decided to make it a jewelry night :) There are some lovely gifts here, so I hope you enjoy.
Let's start by talking about the clothing that is the base of all these photos tonight...this eye-catching lingerie is the prize from +Facepalm+ (#56) and is a system tattoo layer shown (yes, seriously, that's just a tattoo LOL) with a mega HUD that offers appliers for Belleza, Slink, Omega, Eve, and Maitreya. This first set of jewelry is the Twisted Odyssey Gold/Onyx Jewelry Set from Secrets of Gaia who are #1 in the hunt path. Find their cube and you will receive the necklace, earrings, bracelets, crown, and tiara you see above. Note about the tiaras, there are two versions and the one shown in the inset is the smaller front whereas the regular one is more like the crown from the main photo in size.
Next we have a bold set from #10 Chop Zuey called Chains of Calypso. This prize includes the necklace, bracelets, and earrings you see here, each with a built in resize script. These beauties are wonderful for when you want your jewelry to make a statement.
Necklaces galore! Chaos, Panic, & Disorder is known for their generosity in hunts with several prizes for each, and I find they have a great attention to detail. They are #19 in the hunt path and actually have 7 different prizes, 3 of which are shown above. The main photo is An Offering to the Shades for women (the mens' is another hidden prize) and looks like an elegant potion bottle. The inset shows the Lotus Eater Necklace for women on the top and Polyphemus Choker for women on the bottom, each of which have a mens' version hidden somewhere in the store. I am loving the antique look of the gold for all these necklaces! I knew that Polyphemus was a cyclops so wasn't entirely surprised by the creepy-cool eye on that choker, and I'm familiar with the Lotus Eaters story, but the Offering to the Shades is eluding me as to its origins.
My last dazzler of the night is prize #29 from Spyralle, their Odyssey Necklace. They specialize in fractal patterns and you can see that works very nicely with the ocean waves of the necklace. Since the theme colors are a suggestion but not a requirement, it is fun to see a pop of bright color, too.
My nail note of the night is another Twisted prize, #74 from DP - Koffin Nails Fat Pack - Greek Deco. I know you can't see them in most of the photos, so stay tuned and you'll be seeing them again and closer soon :)

Hiya everyone! I am briefly interrupting my Loving Kind hunt coverage for another hunt that is ending in just a few days, a very different kind of hunt called the XOXO Hunt. Instead of searching for a hunt object, this time you will go >here< to get a HUD and then go to each store (links via HUD) and approach their hunt easel (shown on their site) and type XOXO in local chat. So you're kissing a sign, and the sign gets to critique your performance ;) If the sign thinks you're a good kisser, it'll give you a gift...if not, you have to practice kissing for 24 hours and come back to try again. If you've seen people running around typing "xoxo" randomly in chat and then TPing away, this is most likely the reason. Would you like to see a few of the many wonderful prizes?
First up, we have a stunning dress from Junbug named Miss Evelyn, with some delightful details. The corset styling and lacing in the back blew me away, plus that cute ribbon tie is a fun touch. There are standard sizes included, I'm wearing the Small, and felt the need to mention that there is also a Small Curvy size included which is a bonus surprise since this traditional small is rather curvy and busty to me :)
I enjoyed this next dress and felt it was a lovely backdrop for an accessory from the hunt. The dress is the Milena Dress by Bodhi, provided in a whole host of sizes including Belleza FREYA, Belleza ISIS, Belleza VENUS, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and TMP. As for the necklace, well the gift from OXIDE is not just one necklace but a trio, which include a collar and two necklaces called Valentia. I am wearing the Short version here, the long is the same basic style with the same beautiful details but deeper down the neckline.
You can see the collar from the OXIDE necklaces gift here on the left, and so much more! The bodysuit I am wearing is our prize from Supernatural, which includes system layers plus appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, Slink, and TMP. I love the lace at the top, and the 2 delicate bows at the leg openings. On the right, you'll notice I removed the collar and am showing an adorable cropped sweater, well that is our gift from Sorbet, their Coeur Cotele in Fraise. I love the cutout heart, and I admit this was a random case of needing to show off a top without having a pair of pants on hand from the hunt ;) But honestly I like the contrast of how the collar picks up the various lighter pink shades, while the red sweater highlights the deeper reds of the flowers.
Nails make me happy, so this picture clearly brings me plenty of joy :) On the top we have an adorable set of nails from Dark Passions, their Koffin Nails division, a fatpack called Tart Heart with 14 fun designs to choose from: 6 conversation hearts on your choice of pink or purple with tiny dots, or the pink or purple with the dots but no heart. I've had a lovely evening so far and I hope you all have too :) I am excited as always to share some goodies with you, tonight being more of the Jack or Jill Hunt, the Jill (female) path thus far. There are 40 stops in each path, so the guys don't have to feel left out. The hunt runs throughout the entire month, so no rush either.
My first look for the night is this sexy mini from #18 Que Bella! named Estrella Purple/White Mix. Find their little hockey puck and you will receive this in system layers top and bottom plus appliers for Omega and TMP, along with the skirt panel in 5 sizes. The colors are so eye-catching, and the stars so fun.
Next we have the prize from BYRNE who are #25 in the female path. Their stunning Jillian outfit is provided in rose and teal, with the top and skirt each included in 5 standard sizes per color. With the separate pieces, you could mix and match if you wish, as the colors go nicely together.
I do love pink, so the jumpsuit from #28 {MYNX} is right up my alley. I could see this being a perfect choice for a night out with friends, a nice necklace and cute purse perhaps and we're good to go. You could choose the shoes I did, if you find the puck at Divino who are #29 in the ladies' path. Their gift is their Naomi heels in Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink (shown) sizes. I took a closer shot without the pant legs in the way so you could see the ankle strap and dainty buckle.
Final look tonight, we have the beautiful Madisson Dress from #22 MOoh! which includes a slew of sizes: 5 standard, 5 fitmesh, Belleza Isis, Maitreya, and Slink Physique. I love the flowers, they have a soft watercolor look to them. I decided to dress it up a bit more by adding prize #27 from Sweet Evil, their Gemmed Collar. This is RLV enabled for Open Collar scripting, but you can turn it off if you don't use that particular feature.
Nail note of the night: we do have a nail prize, #32 Koffin Nails has an elegant Black Tie Affair fatpack waiting for us to find. It comes in Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, and Slink HUDs with 9 designs of black and white striping, some with silver and some with gold, some slightly marbled on the white stripes. *Happy dance* Hooray for weekends!! The artisan vendor who makes the amazing handmade dumplings at the Artisan market I visit each Saturday is serving up a Chinese New Year celebration for lunch and I simply cannot wait...her dumplings already rock my tastebuds' world, so the fried rice and ribs and noodles are bound to be delightful! Hiya everyone! I keep discovering great free hunts that are ending on Halloween, so I am struggling to get to share at least a peek of each one with all of you. Tonight I am excited to share some prizes from the Ghoul Fest Hunt which is part of an event at The Little Sideshow that also includes a sidewalk sake, gachas, and more. You are looking for a little purple grim reaper, examples are near the signs, and you should receive a hint notecard when you arrive. This seductive seasonal little dress is our prize from Supernatural, named Anandra. She comes in several fitmesh sizes so you should have no trouble finding the right one for you. My necklace is another great prize from the hunt, Insanity's Own has hidden their Bat Tears Necklace Halloween in their little grim reaper. I love the delicate design, and the color of the tears really works well with the orange accent color in the dress.
If you need something more casual for Halloween, I hope you find the prize from Elation because these overalls are adorable! The colors are just right for the pattern, not overly bright, and the pumpkins and black cats are cheery rather than scary. You'll find all the usual mesh sizes for a great fit.
This lovely coat dress is the opposite of casual, and is an exclusive prize from Get Frocked. They called it their Ghost Fest Gown/Coat, and it is provided in various mesh sizes. I feel like the queen of the night in this elegant beauty!
Our last glimpse for the night is the outfit from *Zesty* which made me chuckle. This is their Blood Donor Gift, and includes a mesh top in several sizes with system layer pants with an Omega applier. This is one of those gifts that doesn't have to be limited to Halloween, just depends on your proclivities :)
Nail note of the night: I am wearing one of the Ghoul Fest Hunt prizes on my nails as well, from Dark Passions/Koffin Nails. It's a Slink nails HUD called Itsy Bitsy Spiders, with 5 very subtle tiny designs to choose from.

Hiya everyone! Well I put off a hunt a bit longer than I meant to, and now there's only one day remaining but I'm still showing you some of the goodies from it. The hunt is the Apply Your Body Hunt, and your first thought might be well Dawn, you don't have a mesh body or 'bits' like boobs or butt, just the Slink feet...that is mostly true, but I finally gave in and got a set of Slink hands. I can't seem to get a clear answer about if/when their nails are ever going to be updated, and I have some HUDs that won't work on them, so it was just time. I figured out how to use the HUD to do a different manicure on each fingernail, that was fun and kept me busy for a bit ;) There are plenty of pretty nails in this hunt, so let's have a peek at a few...
First we have the fantastic gift from Koffin Nails, which is called 80's Neon Lights and I agree, it reminds me of laser shows from a nightclub I used to dance at on teen nights :) I could have played with these all day, too fun! This is #15 in the hunt.
Similarly adorned with streaks in dark and light colors, these beauties are from La Boheme who are #18 in the hunt. Included are HUDs called Whiplash1 and Whiplash2, in fingernails and toenails, so you can come up with the perfect combination for your mood or outfit.
How about some pretty pastels? This HUD from Hello Dave is called Easter Sweets, but with 25 amazing colors to mix and match, you can create the perfect manicure for any season. Hello Dave is #34 in this hunt.
Last but certainly not least, we have #27 *InkHeart* with their playful I Am A Star manicure. I really want to practice stamping in RL a bit so I can recreate these on my own real live nails ;) I don't think I could freeform a star like that, my hands simply aren't that steady, and we don't have the convenience (yet?) in RL of using a HUD like this to make our nails look this fantastic. But look how great your SL nails can look! :)
