Happy Anniversary Cosmopolitan

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is a celebration of the Cosmopolitan Event and their 14th anniversary, part two since it's their second round of April. They are each about two weeks long, so this one just opened today and goes until the 25th :) Their group is free to join, and there are plenty of generous gifts (mostly in black bags) as a nod to the special occasion. I've been a fan of Cosmo for ages and am so delighted that they are still as successful as always, so I offer huge congratulations to them and best wishes for the future.

I started out feeling a bit Barbie-like (the hair and the colors I chose on the left, LOL) in a very good way, with our [hh] Dayra Skirt Set gift from Hilly Haalan. The halter top and miniskirt are each provided in Gen X Classic, Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, and Reborn mesh bodies. The enclosed HUD offers 30 options for each piece, mostly solids but some fun patterns as well. There's also a BOM panty included that is tintable, so it can match any of the colors you choose. 

Sometimes our gifts are playful separates that can be combined with each other or anything we already have and love :) The FashionNatic - Asami Top GIFT COSMO is a slip of a tube top in sizes for Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Nerido, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu mesh bodies. The soft colors and daisy pattern are lovely touches. I added some pizazz with the Jingle Belle Shorts by LAP Pink, with an irresistible sequined pattern that is ready to sparkle and shimmer when you move. We receive Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn sizing, along with a HUD to choose from non-PBR or PBR texturing. This way you can see the sequins no matter which viewer you are currently running.

Blackstone has a fantastic gift for us too, their Eisha Set - Petrol. The deep turquoise color is captivating, and I'm in love with the playful sheer ruffles on the also translucent striped blouse :) It and our ruffled skirt are provided in sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies, along with a HUD for the belt (built into the skirt) offering 20 belt hues and 6 metals. 

Here I swapped out the blouse for our charming ::insanya:: Celine Top Gift. Halter tops always catch my attention, and this one has a pale blue floral pattern that is perfect for spring. There really is something about daisies that always makes me smile :) The gift includes lots of sizes, too - Freya Natural, Freya Perky, Isis, Venus, Kupra Bimbo, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Perky Petite, Maitreya, Maitreya V-Tech, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. I decided to wrap up this post with a tasty treat, which would be the .FOODIE. Mini Birthday Cake gift :) There are left and right hand versions, each with a hold pose built in. The square cake is decorated with a bow and has gold Happy Birthday lettering in front of it on the square plate. What flavor do we think it is? My guess is strawberry, but with our imaginations it can be anything we wish.

It was a warm and decent day here, with my thermometer showing 73.6 in this room at the moment. It was 76.4 when I was in here for my support group session, so you'd better believe the fan was on the whole time! My hockey team made the playoffs for the first time in 6 years, so that is worth celebrating too. I probably raised the heat in here by screaming so much, LOL, but it was a really exciting game that had to go to overtime and then a shootout. Tomorrow I've got a dentist visit (cleaning) so no blog post as I'll be in a post-nitrous haze, probably assisted by the muscle relaxer that has been helping some with my neck. I'm somewhat nervous but maybe a little less than the last few dental appointments, just a minor positive I am noticing :) Meanwhile I hope you're all having a magnificent day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Shop And Hop Gets Tinseled

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're hopping back to the Valentine Shop & Hop 2025, specifically the Tinseled region. It is beautifully decorated and filled with 20 displays from top designers, as are all 14 regions that make up this wonderful event :) We have until the 18th to complete our shopping and gift claiming here, so I hope this is just a reminder to finish up (or unpack your faves), and that you have already begun your exploration of this sizeable venue. As always I am grateful to FabFree and their team for their hard work on this spreadsheet that helps with landmarks, pictures, and tabs at the bottom to sort by region, store name, or type of gift.

My first look of the evening is the lovely DRESS Hope *Arcane Spellcaster* S. Valentine GIFT. It is crafted from pale pink satin and snowy white lace, and will fit Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. It just gives me such romantic vibes, yet with the flirtatiousness of the very short skirt. 

Another gift you know I just couldn't wait to share with all of you is our amazing HARU - Renata Dress [PINK]. It is a very low cut minidress that zips all the way down the front, with bold seams down the front for a figure-hugging style. There are sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies included.

Two stores apparently had similar ideas for their gifts to us, and I'm so grateful for both! The top on the left is the Faida - Heather treat, an asymmetrically hemmed one-shoulder top that is gathered and tied on the right to lift it up. It is provided in Khara, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Petite X, Prima Busty, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizing. The FashionNatic - Aracelli Female Top Valentine is the sexy corset style top on the right, with short cap sleeves and boning that has sheer red panels to add to the eye candy. This gift includes Legacy, Nerido, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, Juicy, Juicy & Roll, and Rolls versions. 

I couldn't resist sharing the :.C!L.: <3 U to Pieces Middle B&W LgSleeve Tshirt WOMEN gift with a note that there is also a men's version at their display :) Love truly is a puzzle sometimes, so the image on the front is clever for that reason and the name being about loving someone to pieces. This cozy layered shirt fits Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. At this point my avi really needed a drink, so I added our WERX: Vday Mojo Juice gift, which is happily poofing hearts in several colors around me. A few of the bubbles almost look like part of the shirt's design but they are from the tasty juice with its heart shaped crazy straw. The holding pose is built in, and I think my avi is feeling much more refreshed now.

My final look of the evening is a dreamy PJ set from GoodVibes, HER Valentine Vibes PJs which is one of two gifts you'll find there. Yes, the other is HIS, and lets you match your partner while snuggling :) The top and pants both come in sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Star mesh bodies. I'm so amused by the little smiley dude on the front with his peace symbols and warm beanie, with the little hearts around him making me think he has been sipping on some mojo juice from my previous image too.

It was a busy day here, and I went to the store to get such exciting things like toilet paper and trash bags, LOL, but at least I left the house ;) The farmers market posted on social media that they are cancelled this weekend again because of a 65% chance of snow that afternoon...it is a morning market, but the guy in charge is being lazy a jerk overly cautious. We'd already preordered things from a few of the vendors, so I have no idea how they will handle it. The last few times he did this, the snow either didn't arrive at all or got here the following day, and they have only been open 2 of the past 7 weeks. I feel so sorry for the small business owners who sell there and rely on that for income. They used to be indoors and that protected everyone from the weather quite well, so I am salty about their refusal to return inside as well. More Cosmo Treats

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're still at Cosmopolitan for their 12th anniversary celebration, at least the first half of their April rounds :) One thing I found intriguing about tonight's batch is that it is mostly tops, so if you have a favorite skirt or pair of jeans (etc.) that you need just the right tank top, blouse, or similar to wear above it, please be sure to click all the gift crates at Cosmo! You'll need their free group tag active, and then you get to enjoy dozens of thoughtful gifts as Cosmopolitan celebrates a dozen years of success. I wish them a dozen more and then some!

We start out with the Faida - Fanny noir top gift. This beauty is a spaghetti strap tank top with lots of lace, in sizes for Hulixa, Khara, Kupra, Lara X, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The neutral black makes it ideal to wear with just about anything, and I've reached for my oft-worn Delizio jeans in blue. This marketplace fatpack gift has several colors in system/BOM layers and appliers for Maitreya and Omega, and you're about to see them in several of my photos tonight :)

Another terrific gift I couldn't wait to share is the FashionNatic - Bee Top GIFT seen here. This cropped plaid blouse is sleeveless and mostly open in the front, with a playful chain draped around beneath it so it's got a very sexy, edgy vibe. It fits Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. Part of me really wants to wear it with a studded leather miniskirt next :)

I think adorsy knew some of us would be craving floral patterns for spring, so they selected this gorgeous pink rose print for their Cosmopolitan Top Gift 2024. Then they trimmed it with black lace for fun contrast, and offered it to us in sizing for Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite bodies. The round opening where it's gathered on the side is a great detail too, and the low neckline really shows off cleavage!

I had a busy day which included a trip to the grocery store for the first time in ages, so that was important even if a bit overwhelming. Clearly I got through it somehow, since I'm here and able to type ;) that doesn't mean it was fun or easy, and my weekend is going to generally suck because the housemate is having the dreaded houseguest here for a very long weekend (until Tuesday). Housepest is staying to see the eclipse on Monday since it's a better view in this part of the country than where he lives, and he doesn't drive at night so that's why the stay is extended until the following morning. At least I have dinner at my parents' tomorrow to look forward to, then hiding in this room until therapy Sunday. I'll probably watch the eclipse with them, but I'm not as excited as they are, and housemate bought 3 pairs of the special glasses so I am expected to join in. Cosmopolitan Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are headed to the current round of the Cosmopolitan event, where they thoughtfully keep their Advent gifts available for group members that were released one day at a time during the previous round. Their rounds are just 2 weeks long, so I really do appreciate the bonus time to get and share these treats! With your free Cosmopolitan group tag active, you just need to click each glass ball or bauble on the tree near their front doors, and I find it easiest to derender the tree (right click it then choose derender then temporary) and I even derender each of the gifts immediately after claiming them to keep track of which ones I have clicked. If you want them to be visible again, just teleport away and return, as long as you chose temporary they will reappear :) Some of the gifts are specifically seasonal, while others can be enjoyed year round, so it is a terrific mix and I am grateful to every single designer who has a gift for us. Be sure to visit by the 7th of January when this round closes.

My first look of the evening is the very sexy RAPTURE Dress Sophia gift. I admit, at first I thought that right side was a pattern but those are actually tons of tiny cutouts! I zoomed in and realized yes, that is my nipple peeking through LOL, and if you look at my navel you can see that slightly too. There are sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies included, and the fabric is reacting to the ambient lighting in my home so I would say it is materials enabled. 

Are you still feeling festive? I sure am while wearing our Limited Addiction - Festive gift! It says "Festive AF" on the front of the cowl neck sweater, etched in gold on the black background that goes so nicely with the red striped sleeves. Both sweater and panties will fit Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. The panties aren't as thong-like as I expected from the front view, offering much more coverage than the strappy front. 

Another wonderful gift is the Avril Dress Red from .Safira., a long sleeved bodycon mini in two versions, with and without dots. They are each provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, with a HUD offering 7 colors for the pearls on the sleeves and 20 for the built in panties, plus the ability to turn the pearls or the panties off. The dots on the version I'm wearing on the right above are subtle, and the coloring on the pearls is more noticeable close up in person, yet I think the dress photographed beautifully :) Red is such a classic color too, a surefire way to turn heads in a sea of little black dresses.

I paired up two gifts here for a doubly appealing look, so let's start from the top! That would be the FashionNatic - Christmas Top gift, a tank top with straps that tie atop each shoulder with a bold bow, in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Legacy Nerido, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Reborn Juicy bodies. The red and blue snowflakes almost look like flowers at first glance, don't they? Maybe it's just me ;) The fantastic pants are from eXxEsS and called Leather Pants No. 2 brown. Their unpacker HUD allows you to choose just the size you wish to deliver from CinnChai, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, or Petite. Each one comes with a HUD to choose from 3 metals for the zippers on the sides both top and bottom, and we can turn materials on/off with the HUD as well. I have to say, these are *chef's kiss* impressively textured and fit like a glove, so flattering!

For my final look tonight, I left on my new favorite leather pants from eXxEsS and slipped into the [FLIRT] Melek top gift. Now I have double leather but each with their own terrific texturing, feeling rather badass and loving it ♥. There are sizes for Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies provided, along with a 16 color HUD so you can change your look as often as you wish. The high waisted style of the pants works really nicely with the brief top, just like the scoop waistline flattering the peaks and valleys of the top's design. 

It was a quiet day but a hectic evening thanks to a west coast hockey game that is still going on after midnight my time. I get to see the player we shouldn't have traded, as an opponent which is painful but reassuring since he is doing well after beating cancer. On Christmas eve one of my cousins was dumbfounded that I still watch even though the team is doing so poorly, and I just chuckled. I will be blogging more of the Cosmo Advent gifts tomorrow evening, then I'm taking Saturday night off...the farmers market we usually go to is oddly closed this weekend, so we are going to a different one that is indoors and features Amish foods among other treats. Cosmpolitan 10th Anniversary

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting Cosmopolitan, who are celebrating an impressive 10 years of bringing us exclusive offers and the best in fashion and home decor. This first round of the month is open until the 14th, and I believe there will be different designers/gifts for the second round celebration so I will absolutely be checking back :) If you join their free group, you will find gifts at many of the displays in wooden crates, so just give each one of those a click and you will receive a wide variety of treats. I'm excited to share a sampling of those in this post, as I congratulate Cosmo for their longevity in the event world.

For my first look this evening, I slipped into the Meva Enola Dress & Lyla Boots which are both inside their gift box. The dress comes in Maitreya and Petite sizes, while the ankle boots did not quite fit my Maitreya feet at high or mid heights so I just alpha'ed them away ;) The neutral color palette is so charming, and I was also drawn to the empire waist and bell sleeves. 

#Apl.Blossom also has a terrific gift for us, their Barcelona No. 10 jumpsuit. This strapless formfitting suit has a built in belt, embroidered lace, and a single sheer bra cup on the right. I am hiding my visible nipple behind my hand, but you can tell that the fabric there is translucent :) The gift includes Freya, Isis, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh body sizes, all in that great ombre of pink to purple to blue.

Next we see the flirty VARSITY / PAMELLA DRESS - FATPACK, a generous gift indeed. The crossed halter dress has a peekaboo midriff and short hemline, provided in eBody, Freya, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite body sizes. There is also a handy HUD with 10 colors, so our fatpack is easy on the inventory count and easy on the eyes.

Another fantastically flirty ensemble is our gift from Candy Kitten. Their *CK* Pure love set consists of two tops (heart and white) and two skirts (red and white) that we can mix and match. The tops include sizes for eBody, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite bodies, with a HUD in each to choose from 10 colors for the hearts on the front (nipple covers) and 5 metals for the buttons. As for the skirts, those have a HUD with 5 button colors and 3 choices for the panties (black, white, pink) as well as black or white for the lace trim and the option to hide the panties. Now as you can see on the right, the skirt is split in the back and the flaps are held open, so hiding those panties will turn out to be a very cheeky option. Yes, bad pun intended ;) The skirts will fit eBody, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies.

My final look of the evening is actually two gifts, a full outfit and a bonus bit of belly jewelry. The clothing is the Limited Addiction - LOTD 194 gift, which includes Legacy and Maitreya sizes each of the top, skirt, arm bands, and bracelets. The shirt says "dream" on it, which made me smile, and the low cut mini skirt has a flourish of plaid. I added the FashionNatic - Camila BellyRing - Gift since the plunging skirt waistband shows it off so well :) This rigged belly piercing comes in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies, with a HUD that offers a whopping 50 colors for the stone and 8 metals. You can see it better in the inset above, a rounded orb of whichever gemstone you wish that is caged with swirls of metal. 

It was a busy day at home, and I have been keeping an eye on the local news this evening because of a bear roaming around a nearby neighborhood. It's not far from where my best friend lived when she first got married, although she is in the mountains now and sees bears quite regularly in an odd coincidence. This is a very developed suburban area with houses very close together and tiny lawns, so it is surprising. They are trying to lure it into a trap with baked goods, LOL, since tranquilizing it did not succeed. I'd crawl into a cage for free donuts, but jelly wouldn't be my first choice...yes, they actually specified that on the news. They plan on releasing it somewhere safer for both bear and humans, so it should be a positive ending. I hope you're all having a great day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Shop and Hop Poppy

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are hopping back over to the Valentine Shop & Hop 2022 event, organized by Linden Lab and loaded with fantastic designers offering deeply discounted merchandise. In addition, you will find a free gift at just about every display, so there we have plenty of extra reasons to visit :) There are 10 regions dedicated to shopping, and all of tonight's gifts can be found on the Poppy region. I keep them organized by region so you know where you can expect to locate each gift. These Shop & Hop events are always fun opportunities to find new favorite stores and become reacquainted with ones you haven't visited in a while, which is exactly what I did at least three times this round.

I also found an adorable gift at the Bipolar display, their Fluffy Dress which contains a fun bonus. The dress comes in eBody Reborn, Kupra, Kupra Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh body sizes, and the bonus I mentioned is the super cute teddy bear I'm holding :) The front pocket reads "not cute but it's fun" but honestly I think this outfit is both. 

My final look this evening is one of three gifts from zOOm, all of which can help you get ready for a romantic time. Their I Love You Sweater seen here also includes the tan colored panties I am wearing here, each in sizes for eBody Curvy, Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh bodies. The HUD provided lets us select from 5 colors that all have white text saying I LOVE YOU in assorted fonts. I accessorized it with another gift, the FashionNatic - Valentines Broken Heart Necklace. This treat includes male and female mesh body sizes - Gianni, Jake, Kupra, Legacy Female, Legacy Male, and Maitreya - with the jagged half heart charm as one half for women and the other half for the men. There is a metal HUD with 5 colors, and a terrific letter HUD included too that lets you pick an initial from 3 different fonts or even a few characters that are not letters, and RGB tinting so you can pick any color for the letter. In the inset I selected an X for Xan and went with green because it's his eye color, yep I was feeling mushy ♥.

I have an early appointment tomorrow and a few things to do after, so I will not have time to blog in the evening. I'll be back Thursday evening though, not to worry :) This is a long overdue visit to a dermatologist to get a bunch of skintags removed, and there are a couple of other concerns I will ask about while I'm there. My former family doc used to freeze them off for me, but it's been several years and the two I've seen since her do not keep the materials on hand to do it. A Little More Cosmopolitan

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are enjoying a few more cosmopolitans, no not the drink but some group gifts from the Cosmopolitan Event's second May round. This is their anniversary month and they are celebrating 9 years, so most of the participating designers are offering gifts to honor the occasion. This round wraps up on the 29th, so time is of the essence and we could consider this "last call" if we stick with the adult beverage idea. 

Two gifts found their way into my first look, both tops that I paired with the Delizio jeans which are a marketplace freebie I adore. The top on the left is the Ricielli gift called V-shirt Baby Pink, and it comes in sizes for Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. It has a cropped loose hem and opening that reveals just the right touch of cleavage, very nice! The Loki - Sad Bunny Tee - White gift is also cropped but even shorter, with a much tighter fit and a cute bunny on the upper left. This gift is created to be worn on the Maitreya body. 

Next I changed into the lovely FashionNatic - Zury Top - Cosmopolitan Gift in its new color combination for this round. They had a gift with the same name for us in the first round of the month, with a black floral pattern instead. The pink trim here really accentuates those flowers, and the deep V both front and back is a fun flirty touch. It is included in Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya sizing. 

Apl.Blossom's gift for us is this delightful Sn.Francisco Body No.8 bodysuit, scattered with ghosts on a pretty purple background. It is provided in sizes for Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, with a high cut leg and short sleeves. 

If you are feeling flirty, be sure to claim the .Safira. gift called Akane Dress Black. There are two versions of this sheer dress, black and black hearts, as well as a thong style panty, that each come in sizes for Freya, Isis, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies. The delicate bows caught my eye as much as the peekaboo cutouts, and I find the plain version just as romantic as the one dusted with hearts. 

For my final look this evening, I slipped into the Candy Kitten group gift called *CK Savage love dress PINK. In addition to the original version with solid shirt beneath (seen on the left above), there is a version with no shirt and one with a fishnet shirt (right) that are each included in Freya, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite sizing. There is also a HUD with lots of great options, like 20 colors for the laces and 35 textures for the top including solids and some with sayings. Several of the sayings are NSFW (not safe for work) so you might not want to play with the HUD at a non-mature location ;) I really like the Little Kitten option, with that sweet heart-shaped nose and touches of blush between the whiskers. 

My day was loaded with information and planning, as an older family member in another state is in need of medical attention so arrangements have been made. He will be fine in a few days, but will probably need IV antibiotics to take care of an infection. Cellulitis is a really unpleasant issue, and he is not the first family member of mine to cope with it in the past few years. Cosmopolitan Anniversary Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are celebrating another wonderful event's anniversary, as Cosmopolitan rings in 9 years of sales and exclusive offers. There are group gifts at nearly every display, in pretty wooden crates that you can click to receive if you have their free group tag active. May was clearly a good month for events to begin, and nine years is an impressive milestone for any SL business venture. Many congratulations to them! This round is open until the 15th, so it is a limited time but so worth the visit.

My first look is the gift from Candy Kitten called *CK* Never alone dress cosmo. It comes in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite bodies, with a HUD offering 5 main colors and 2 for the lace trim. I am very fond of the double deep V, back and front, and the various colors all show off the fabric beautifully.

Next I slipped into the silky #AplBlossom.Argentina Dress No.4 group gift. This charming satin mini has scalloped lace trim and sweet spaghetti straps, and really hugs every curve. The gift includes Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh body sizing. 

I was able to pair two gifts for this fun look, although of course you can wear either gift with anything that you personally prefer. The top is the Brenda Tee - Stone gift from [JUSTICE], which comes in 3 versions (original, decal as seen on the left above, and silky on the right) each sized for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies. There is also a HUD with 18 color choices for the trim, so you can change the look to suit your tastes. Our gift from [G-SHOT] is their striking AREI Skirt, in sizes for eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies. This cute pleated mini skirt also includes a HUD offering 10 colors for the skirt itself and 5 metals for the safety pins on the waistband. Both of these gifts are as versatile as they are pretty :)

This is another pairing of two separate gifts that made me smile. The top is the Zury Top from FashionNatic, and it comes in Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes. The open weave of the edging caught my eye, as did the delicate bow draped down the back. My skirt comes from Ricielli and is called Jodie Skirt Petal, probably in reference to the pale pink that certainly could be found on flower petals. It includes sizes for Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies. 

My final look of the evening is our group gift from Hilly Haalan, their [hh] Chelsea Overall. I do appreciate a nice casual outfit, and this fits that bill perfectly :) It comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizes, with a HUD to choose from 10 colors each for the top, pants, buttons, and belt. It looks more like a jumpsuit with the top and pants the same color, but like separate pieces when colored individually. That open top is daring yet covers everything essential, so I like that too. 

I am not sure how to describe my day, since I can't decide if it was good or not. More like quiet but slow with a touch of frustrating, as I got a message from my mom that someone wanted me to text her or call her. I texted, and it's now been several hours with no reply. I don't want to feel like I am bothering her or chasing her down, but can't imagine what was so important if she didn't reply. I let my mother know what happened in case the person asks again, and will try texting again in the morning but then I'm done. I did not get much inventory sorting done yet, but will try again later :) What an intimidating task! Oh well, I hope you're all having a terrific day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Top of the World at Uber

Hiya everyone! Tonight I will be showing off some more gifts from Uber as they celebrate their birthday with gifts from each of their participating designers. No group tag is needed, just visit the event or one of the camera sims (Harajuku and Cam Sim) where you can use your camera controls to see and click all the pretty wrapped presents with gold and black balloons floating above them. There are such a wide range of special sales items and gifts here, so I believe you will find plenty that will brighten your day :) Tonight I mainly focused on shirts and blouses, which you can combine with whatever suits you for a unique look. The event is still in the first few days of the round, which is open until September 22nd, so you have time and can wait until after the weekend if it's still too crowded to get in to any of the sims. Please do not use one of those teleport hammer things though, they really do negatively affect the sims for everyone else trying to enjoy Uber. There are signs on the cam sims asking you not to repeatedly push against the sim border to try to cross into the main one, for the same reason. 

My first look starts with the top from FashionNatic which is simply called Uber Gift. This floral tank top has a deep V neckline that shows off considerable cleavage but covers the essentials ;) It is provided in Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya sizing. I decided to highlight the darker hues in the pattern with the bracelets, a gift from Native Urban called -NU- Handmade Bracelet. Both left and right bracelets are composed from several individual strands, and there is a HUD included with 4 colors each for 3 sections of those strands as well as 3 metal choices each for two metallic sections. My suggestion is to just have fun clicking various color buttons and see what changes, until it looks a way that you like. As for my jeans, they are the white pair from the Delizio jeans fatpack that appear here quite often. They are a free gift on the marketplace, and all colors come in system/BOM layers plus appliers for Omega and Maitreya. You are about to see them a few more times too :)

I was really excited to unpack this gift from .miss chelsea. and read the hilarious message on the front! It is called Brin Tee 2020, and features a brutally accurate 1-star review of this stressful year. The comment reads "Total crap. Would not recommend." beneath the 1 of 5 stars, and I couldn't agree more. It is provided in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes. Ironically, I give this shirt 5 stars and would in fact recommend it.

I tend to be (overly) fond of floral patterns, so this GRIXDALE gift immediately caught my eye. It is their [g]Effie - Studded Crop - Rose Garden, and is styled very similar to a bra but with extra straps above each cup for added support. It comes in Maitreya, Legacy, and Legacy Perky versions, all with those fun pink studs across the top of each cup.

This elegant blouse is the Emery Quincy Top Hot Blue, and it can be yours just by clicking the present in front of their display. It comes in Maitreya and Legacy sizing, with sheer sleeves and beautiful lacing to hold the front together. The bare shoulders are an excellent touch as well.

My final look this evening is a flirty one, thanks to Mossu and their Uber Gift Top - Lilac. It is generously trimmed in scalloped lace, while the cups are lacy too which makes them slightly sheer. It is provided in Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh body sizes. It seemed like a pretty way to show off a necklace, so I added the Dangle Layering Necklace w/HUD from MonCheri. This gift comes in an unrigged version as well as rigged sizes for Belleza Freya/Isis, Legacy, Legacy Perky, Maitreya, and Maitreya Petite bodies. There is also a HUD with 12 metal colors to pick from, so you can match or contrast to just about any outfit. It is such a slender chain, both the loop and the dangling section, yet it definitely draws the eye. 

It was another 2020 type of day here, LOL, as my plans were cancelled due to thunderstorms and I lost power briefly in the early evening. Clearly I need to wear my new 2020 shirt all weekend!
