Hiya everyone! Tonight I have an enjoyable mix of deeply discounted delights from The Wash Cart Sale, and a few hunt prizes from the Women Only Hunt (WOH2). I love the looks of the holiday season, but I think most of what I am showing you tonight will be suitable for other times of the year as well. Not much red and green tonight, mostly dark and warm colors for variety. The Wash Cart Sale runs until the 4th of January, and many items are transferable so you can pick up gifts for your SL friends and family, just $10L each. The WOH2 hunt will have you looking for pretty blue/purple snowflakes which are free, and you will need to pick up the hunt HUD at their hunt office to guide you from stop to stop and give you hints in local chat. I am so grateful for these opportunities to find and share these free or very inexpensive treats with all of you!
My outfit is one of the many wonderful items on the Mystic Dragon Designs cart at the Wash, each for just $10L. This is their Tree Outfit and is a single mesh piece, in 8 fitted sizes including Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. I love the golden tree on the top, and the mixture of leather and knitted materials. Sometimes just for variety I like to mix metals, so I paired this with the Lindy Barlie Black shoes for Slink High, another cart sale find and one of several pairs to choose from at their cart. Next we have three terrific items, all from the Loordes of London cart. The top, a cozy blouse/sweater combo, is their The SL Retro Look #7, a pretty deep blue shade which comes in standard, Isis, and Venus sizes. The sunglasses are their Lunar Eclipse also in #7, with a built in resize script, and the shoes are Fallout Index Peeptoe #7 for Slink high. They have an attractive design to their texture and great strappy details. All of these items are $10L each and there are other colors for each available at the cart too, so scoop up those bargains! Over to the Womens Only Hunt, this playful hooded sweatshirt is our prize from Chemical Princess called Skull Hoodie. It comes in black and white (left) or color (right) and each is included in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes. Fun side note, I accidentally wore the Hourglass size instead of the Physique (the body I am actually wearing) on the left, it still fit obviously but now that you know to look, you can notice the curvier shape of the mesh, particularly in the hips.
Two exciting prizes to be seen here, let's start with the Stripes Dress from EMPORIUM. This long sleeved mini dress comes in standard mesh sizes plus an Hourglass and a Physique version, very sexy style. I added the boots from the snowflake hidden at ELYSIUM, their Sophia knee high boots in furry. I love the laces wrapped around and around until they tie in the back of each boot, and the color will match so many of your favorite inventory staples. These have a wide range of sizes too, so you can comfortably fit your Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, or Physique legs or at least match one of those to your personal shape.
One last look for the evening, the fantastic nails I have been so enjoying tonight :) The prize from alaskametro<3 is a set of "Snow Queen" nail art HUDs for Maitreya manicures, Maitreya pedicures, Slink, and Omega. I guess the past couple of days I took a tiny detour away from Halloween themed hunts and events, but I have another to share tonight called The Mad Circus Halloween & Gacha Fair where you'll find terrific bargains and a slew of gifts between $0L and $10L. Those gifts are what I am focusing on for this post, and since free is my goal I am showing you only things found in the $0L bags. You'll want to check each stall for a small striped bag with handles, and there are an amazing number of participants so enjoy your visit!
I am starting out with a jacket from [TrevaH] called Akasha in Black, and it comes in standard sizes each for the Gold and Silver detail versions each shown above. As for my sexy pants, those are also a free gift at the event, this time courtesy of Supernatural. They are called Leah Pants Black, and come with an Omega applier for your mesh needs. These pants make a good foundation for the next few photos as well, as you're about to see.
This shirt is a free gift from +Facepalm+, aptly named Killer Queen and provided in standard mesh sizes. While it looks great with the pants from the last photo, I can also see it with a pair of red jeans or even a mini skirt. The only limits are your imagination!
These shirts pair remarkably well with the pants too, don't they? This is our free gift from EMPORIUM, two versions of their Grunge Shirt. You can see Leopard on the left and Love Rock on the right, both in that intriguingly tattered style and in standard mesh sizes.
You know I cannot resist stunning nails, and even more so when they are free gifts! On the left you can see all 5 colors on the Slink HUD from *LX* called Madness, each with a lovely crackle design. On the right, you can see both designs from !Head Desk! from their Slink HUD called Rabbit Hole. The light blue design says Eat Me, in case you can't see it, and the other has a heart atop black and red stripes.
