Hiya everyone! Tonight I am showing a few more prizes from the Kiyomizu Summer 2018 Hunt, a seasonal free hunt that starts at the Kiyomizu Mall and has you looking for cute ninja cats. Some of them are remarkably well hidden, so your camming skills will come in handy here as well as thinking outside the box (or inside the box, or inside a wall...or under something and shrunken to itty bitty sizes...) to find these clever kitties. The floating ghosts around the mall will help you with a website that tells you where you've found the cats so far and which stops you'll still need to visit, and how many cats are hiding at each location. The signs are scripted, and I have always admired how they keep track of things so efficiently. You have just under a week left to find them, since it wraps up on the 8th of July and all the ninja cats go away until the fall round of this seasonal hunt.
First we have the prize from Frangipani, their *FG* Watermelon Popsicle Delivery Set. This generous gift has a delivery staff uniform in a Maitreya size (one piece, top and skirt you see here) plus the watermelon popsicle for the right hand and the pop carrying box each in sizes for human, hamster, and animal fairy avatars. The box distributes treats (a pop for the mouth) to anyone who clicks it, so all your friends can enjoy a refreshing snack too.
The prize from ~IVY~ is called Summer Outfit, and it is a flirty top and matching skirt each in sizes for Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and a fitted version. I really like the various shades of blue in the stripes, and the style really accentuates our curves.
The kitten at Magiclo holds this *Noir* dress, in sizes for Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and XS, S, M standard sizes. The golden straps make for a lovely trim, and add a unique touch to your new LBD (little black dress).
Next we have the POZA MART Outfit for Slink Female, in bold black and white that works for any season. The jacket with built in top comes in a Slink size, and the skirt comes in Slink and Large sizes. I am wearing the Slink sizes in both on my Maitreya body, and obviously it worked it very nicely with a few tweaks on my body's alpha HUD. I feel like these pieces can be worn with plenty of other wardrobe components, if you are the creative sort who prefers to build your own outfits by mixing and matching.
For my final look of the evening, I am showing one of several prizes to adorn our nails with, this being from <ooSiki> called sea2018. There are HUDs for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, and Slink, each with the two designs seen above. The white has 2 pretty gems at the base, while the blue is a pretty ombre with scales and a single pearl at the cuticle. I will probably wear one color on most of the nails, then choose the other as accent nails like ring finger and thumb on each hand, occasionally for variety.
My title tonight was simply inspired by the stifling heat outside, although I know it is the name of a movie I haven't seen. I had just turned my fan back on when the title popped into my head, better than overworking the poor air conditioner :) I'm dealing with more technology problems, countless strange little things keep cropping up and it can be very irritating so I need to be more aware of trying to stay calm and positive. I have a medication alarm set that decided not to go off as an example, but I realized the time just a few minutes later so it wasn't a big deal. That was especially odd since my other issues were mainly related to wireless internet connection trouble, which wouldn't affect the alarm at all. Oh well, things will work out eventually I'm sure. Hiya everyone! Tonight we visit the Kiyomizu Spring 2018 Hunt again, where we explore the Kiyomizu Mall and some of the mainstores to find hidden ninja cats offering great prizes. With each new season I find myself looking forward to the new round of this hunt, and I enjoy the opportunity to visit old favorites and new participants alike. With over 70 stores taking part, there is a wonderful variety for all. Just remember to click a floating ghost in the walkways of the mall to get your personalized website that shows which cats you've found and where you still need to search. As for my title, well the song came on the 80s station when I was struggling to come up with a title and I have always been fond of the song and its message.
Tonight's first look is two prizes from the same designer, but found in different locations. Karin has a branch in the Kiyomizu Mall that hides the ninja kitty with their Skirt with Suspender dress inside, in sizes for standard, Belleza Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody, Maitreya, Ocacin, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. Their mainstore is the place to visit to find the Shoes and Socks gift I am wearing here, which include a HUD with 2 texture selections. The other is a red and black design, so they can be worn with plenty of your favorite outfits for a fun and casual flavor.
POZA MART also has a beautiful gift waiting for us, their Maxi China Dress in Red. It comes in a Slink size that conveniently worked well with my Maitreya body, with a lovely floral pattern trimmed in deep gold. The bright color is sure to bring happiness to any day.
Next we have the gift from MIYABI J-Style, their OneP Retro Butterfly dress. It is provided in standard fitmesh sizes as well as Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions, with the wide belt attached for easy wearing. The flowers and butterflies of the pattern have a classic feel to them, in bright springtime coloring.
I always appreciate seeing different interpretations of a popular mesh style, and this dress by Jury PoP is a prime example. This is their Lace up Dress Twin-Light Blue, the same shape as the first gift I shared tonight, with layers of ruffles and an eye-catching blue that reminds me of a robin's egg. Tonight I am showing off some more prizes from the Kiyomizu Winter Hunt, the tricky hidden ninja cats that you have until the 8th of January to locate at the Kiyomizu Mall and some of the mainstores. Just click a floating ghost to get to the webpage that will show you where you still need to find them. They are really talented at hiding, some are tiny and some are flat to slip behind posters or even into walls. Fortunately when you find them and pet them gently, they reward you with terrific hunt prizes so it is worth the challenge of discovering their hiding places.
POZA MART has a sweet gift for us, their Maxi Long Sleeve Dress in a deep navy blue with white trim and plaid tie. There are 2 sizes included: an eBody/Classic version and a TMP version, and I am wearing the first one which fit very well on my Maitreya body. The dress reminded me of a school uniform and a business style, almost at the same time, so there are many occasions this would be suited for.
For this look, I am enjoying two very different tops from two locations at the Kiyomizu Mall itself. On the left you can see the [satus Inc] Rye Tied Straight Top Sushi, a version of which was shown in a recent post from their mainstore and in black with a different design on it. The shirt is included in standard fitmesh sizes plus Belleza Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and TMP. On the right is a layered look from Jury PoP called Pattern Pullover [Star] Green, and that is all one piece so the shirt beneath the jacket is attached for convenience. There is something so charming about this warm, cozy coatdress from M&A. It's called Winter Coat and includes XS, S, and M standard mesh sizes along with Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, eBody, Maitreya, Slink Physique, and TMP versions. The lace trim catches my attention, and so does that pretty bow on the collar.
Our prize from Karin has a beautiful secret, a layer of vibrant print fabric beneath the skirt. At first glance it looks like a simple strapless black dress with a flared skirt, but as we move while wearing it the stunning pattern shows. This gift includes standard mesh sizes plus Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions.
My final look of the evening is from the prize at MeltingDots Freebie Store, a delightful layered Lace Dress with plenty of sizes for just about every body: standard fitmesh, Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine each for the inner and outer layers. There is also a HUD that offers 10 colors to tint the set, two of which you can see here. I urge you to pass along the landmark for this store to any newer residents, as there are some wonderful gifts there for classic avatars, and upstairs has information (some in Japanese, some English) on places to visit within Second Life that some newcomers might not be familiar with yet, like I was so tickled to see a sign for Inspire Space Park upstairs! That was one of the first places Xan and I visited together in SL and it makes me so happy to know that it is still around. Fond memories ♥.

I was feeling casual today since it is Sunday, so I quite enjoyed the selection of Relax Lounge Wear outfits at the Mishmash Fusion cart at the Wash. This is Spring Dragonfly, and there are other color/pattern options as well, just $10L each. The outfit comes in 8 fitmesh sizes which include Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and Maitreya versions along with standard mesh sizing, and I love the little drawstring bow at the waist. The Artist Shed is offering some adorable pouffes at the cart sale, so in the spirit of relaxation I chose to have a seat on their Vintage Spring Pouffe in Hydrangea. There are 4 versions available on their cart for $10L each, and they each have a different animated sitting pose inside so you can pick up a few and scatter them about (copy permissions so rez as many as you need) and enjoy the variety. This pose is called crossed, and I tend to sit like this at my desk here sometimes so it had a familiar coziness. I may have broadened my definition of casual here, as these lingerie sets from JellyRoll are wonderful for unwinding at home. In fact, they are called Everyday Lingerie, and the Unicorns version is seen on the left while I am wearing the Sweets version on the right. I love the little ice cream cones, and the background pattern reminds me of mint chocolate chip. One of my favorite stores in the Kiyomizu Hunt is Karin, ever since discovering them at the Kiyomizu Mall a few years ago I have been impressed with their texturing and beautiful clothing. Their prize for us this hunting round is this lovely Blouse and Skirt in a soft lavender shade, with clever cat silhouettes hiding among flowers. It makes perfect sense, since finding a hiding kitty rewards us with the prize :) The blouse and skirt are each provided in standard mesh sizes, and I am wearing the medium size of each with my Slink Physique body here.
One last look of the evening, this is our hunt prize from POZA MART and is called Lady's Suit in Navy. It is a single mesh piece with the look of two or three, thanks to the 3/4 sleeve jacket and white shirt beneath, and mini skirt. It is included in standard mesh sizes, and is a fun look for everyday or perhaps roleplaying as an executive or teacher, lawyer comes to mind as well. Just find that hidden ninja kitty to claim this for free.
My houseguests are loudly watching Wrestlemania so I have an amusing distraction going on tonight, I don't mind because it isn't like I am trying to sleep or anything and I used to be a big wrestling fan myself.
