Fabulously Free

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post was a fun opportunity to explore the FabFree group gift listing, which I love doing from time to time. It seems there is always something new being added, but I also like to scroll down some and see what might have been on the list for a while and we might not have spotted before. They could be swapped out for newer gifts soon, but are absolutely worth taking a peek now :) I also find the list handy to introduce Xan to brands with male clothing (and potentially gifts) and for those times that we wish to redo our home decor a tiny bit without spending a fortune :) 

If you're feeling like Halloween season can't get here fast enough, maybe our .:BE BOLD:. Space Boo gift will give you that little spooky taste to tide you over ;) Personally I love the dark background that makes the bright colors of the pattern pop, so much so that even spiders and their webs are making me smile. Our top and skirt are separates, in sizing for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. That saucy strap that slides off our shoulder adds a special something, much like the wrapped style of the short skirt. The Beautifully Broken - Beachy Shirt gift simply could not be more appropriate for me! It says "I don't hoard, I curate freebies" and well, my inventory size can attest to that one ;) The lovely lady in the image is surrounded by boxes labeled Freebie, Group Gifts, Demos, and Event Swag. There are classic S, M, L and fitmesh S, M, L sizes for classic avatars, along with Freya, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Ocacin, Reborn, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh body sizing. There is also a HUD with 21 color buttons and a hidden 22nd version which is a striped Pride flag type rainbow :) Can you guess how to activate that one? Try clicking around on the HUD but not inside one of the colored squares. I'm wearing the blue Delizio jeans from their marketplace fatpack freebie, which show up on my blog quite often because they are just so versatile :)

Next we visit MONOMANIA to claim their Lace Delight gift, which certainly lives up to its name as you can see. There are 5 texture options via HUD, all floral and a couple of which are sheer, so I would recommend a nice solid pair of BOM panties beneath for modesty. The dress itself comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Senra Jamie, Hourglass, and Physique body sizes. 

Our [Flaneur] Kiara Set gift is a perfect choice for when you're feeing Goth but also want to look sexy. The top and skirt are each provided in sizes for Lara X, Legacy, Nhumana, Reborn, and Squish bodies. That's an impressive view of our cleavage, isn't it? I can't forget to mention the bag that's part of the gift too, with its built in holding pose that shows off the embossed cross so nicely. 

Last but certainly not least, I really wanted to share one of the recent Pride themed gifts that are available. The .::DS::. Starr Pride 3 outfit from Dark Salvation is sporty and playful, with a cropped tank top and short shorts in white with purple racing stripes down the sides. The top says PRIDE and the shorts have a rainbow striped heart, so both pieces reflect your support for Pride month or any time of year. There are Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu sizes included. 

It was a strange day that turned out to be fairly productive yesterday, as I'd taken the day off for a long outing but we only went to a local park to hang out and enjoy watching dogs. It gave me a chance to discuss practical logistics of where to go for my eyeglasses, since I will probably have to go back at least twice which means being closer is better. First to order them, back to get them adjusted when they are complete, and again to get the lens replaced when I have the first cataract surgery and my vision in that eye changes. So there are 2 nearby places, an independent store and a Target with an optical department, which will be next week's outing/s :) The farmers market for Saturday has been canceled due to rain, so I will have to figure out a different motivation to leave the house again. Gaming night was really fun, and I love getting to know my friends better while enjoying these cozy games that make us laugh so much. FabFree Friday

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're checking out the FabFree group gift list again, diving down a bit so not the most recent but the slightly older gifts that you might otherwise miss before they get swapped out for new ones. The FabFree in SL group is free to join, and their blog is immensely helpful to learn about gifts, sales, events, and new designers in SL whether it's your first day or your second decade as a resident :) I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the group and blog, have been a huge fan since my earliest days in SL, and they will always have one of my precious group slots as well as being a priority in my email inbox.

My first look of the evening is the [ZEX] Isabel dress * Dove gift, a charming white dress with bare shoulders and delicate straps tied around each upper arm. There are sizes for Legacy, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies included, and a few other groups' gifts are on that same wall. It looks like ZEX remodeled since I was there last, looking good!

I slipped into my favorite Delizio jeans in order to show off this gift, the ::MM:: Flower Women's tank top from Max Magic. It's upstairs with other generous gifts for assorted groups :) I really like the lacy back of this T strap tank top, which fits Lara X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies and includes a HUD with 4 floral patterns. Even the buttons down the back will be coordinated with the pattern you select, so cute!

Next the jeans stayed put but the body had to do a switcheroo ;) Over at [DUSZA] their Pulawy Top is designed to fit the original Maitreya body, Lara 5.3. Its HUD has 4 lovely choices, two of which you can see above. The top is such a flirty style, with deep side openings that are tied at the bottom. 

Next we visit KaiDesign for their *KD* Rye dress - flowery gift, which has a sultry, revealing style. The sides are nearly completely bare, as the skirt is attached to the bra in the front and back by a narrow band. We receive sizing for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Pinup Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Petite X, Peach, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The vibrant pattern adds plenty of visual appeal too :) It reminds me of a kaleidoscope, which was something I used to get a very inexpensive plastic version of each year during summer vacation so it brings back fond memories.

My final look tonight is the .::BE BOLD::. Gift #22 for FabFree, on a wall that is jam-packed with goodies for dozens of groups across the grid. It includes a t-shirt style mini dress in Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, with a 3 texture HUD, plus coordinated ankle boots to fit Maitreya and Slink mid height feet. Does it make me odd that throughout my life, I've alternated between loving and disliking striped clothing? I am definitely in a phase of enjoying them now, lol, so the diagonal stripes on that texture option made me smile. The other choice is a solid pink, so if you are in the no-stripes camp, you can still find two ways to wear this cutie.

Mother Nature wreaked a bit of havoc around here, so I did not go to my parents' for dinner as intended. They had a mystery leak in the laundry room, and the roads between here and there were flooding. I also was very short on sleep from all the loud thunder startling me awake every time I almost drifted off, so that's fun. Meanwhile Xan is not online tonight because he has no electricity, same storm system apparently :( He's able to send messages periodically so I know he's okay, just having a really frustrating night. Designer News Goodies

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is a bit of a tour, taking us to several participating Designer News group's designers. The group is currently free to join, and each store can offer a group gift if they wish, so I had a lot of fun hopping around and seeing what I could find :) I'd had a few spots bookmarked from prior visits that I saw various group gifts, so you'd get a kick out of the weird notes in the names of my landmarks as I'll abbreviate the group names a bit oddly. Otherwise I visit stores who have posted group notices recently, to see the sales items and look for a gift while I'm there.

My first look of the night comes from Mu-Shi Doll and is their flirty MD "Bonita" Outfit - Leo. Our leopard print bodysuit fits Freya, Isis, Kupra (Bimbo, Low, Original), Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and Reborn mesh bodies. It's got a fun popped collar and is open all the way down to the waist, where an attached belt encircles and shines with gold trim. I had a laugh following my old landmark since they are now a couple thousand meters lower, LOL, so I did some falling and flailing until I located their new spot :)

If you're feeling a bit naughty, head over to ANGEL"s JEWELRY and claim their AJ_outfit BADGIRL. Its top and panty each come in Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Rolls sizing, and they are both decorated in such fun ways :) The top's got garter straps and stunning artwork on the front, then "BAD GIRL" on the back with horns above the B and D. Meanwhile the panty has the same bad girl image on the front, and a sassy handprint on the back. I'm a big fan of the hot pink and white color combo too.

Just because an outfit has a knit texture doesn't mean it has to cover every possible inch of skin, right? :) .::BE BOLD::. Group Gift #7 is their treat for Designer News (one of many for various groups) and is a playful sleeveless dress with halter neck and deeply scooped back that shows off a tiny glimpse of bum cleavage. The sizes included are for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies, along with a HUD that offers 3 colors of the same texture. 

One of my go-to locations for this type of group gift (multi-designer groups that is) would be V8 Underground, and my visit clearly paid off today. Their **CHANDRA SONWIL SET UNIVERSAL HUD 6 TEXTURES** treat for us is a tank top and shorts set to bring out your inner girl boss, since that's what it says on the front of the top and the back of the shorts :) They both fit Freya, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies, and as I'm sure you gathered from the name, it also has a HUD with 6 colors for each piece. Mixing and matching can be lots of fun, and I feel like this would be a comfy look for lounging around with Xan too.

My final look tonight is our :::[FurtaCor]:::Anis Set gift, and it really speaks to the Boho hippie style fan deep inside :) I was born in the early 70s after all. The top combines bare shoulders with a tied front to show off a bare midriff, then the long maxi skirt rides a bit low on the hips for the same sexy effect. The top is provided in eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizes, while the skirt comes in standard mesh sizes along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique versions. You know I'm also about to tell you that there's a HUD included too, right? That offers 14 patterns and 14 solid colors for the top, with 2 patterns and 6 colors for our lovely skirt. For the most part the skirt looks like denim in its various textures, a fabric I also associate with my 80s teenage years so I am always drawn to that material as well.

It was a quiet day here, as my planned outing had to be temporarily postponed due to the housemate being too drained after running errands for my parents. I appreciate their helping my parents that way while they're sick, so I do not mind waiting :) I had to reboot my pc 4 times earlier for its Windows updates, and the poor thing isn't even Windows 11 compatible so this is just crap for 10. It was just annoying when I thought it was done after the first two, so reopened browsers and started doing things when a few minutes later it popped up again. Oh well, at least rebooting doesn't take as long as it used to, those days of waiting 15 minutes for the system to restart are long gone and not missed. MGSN Christmas Gift Train

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I get to be a tour guide for the MGSN Christmas Gift Train, which is now an annual tradition of the MGSN or Maitreya Gifts, Sales and News group. It is free to join, and that group tag entitles you to year-round goodies at many participating stores. But as you can see, once a year we get bonus benefits with these amazing limited time offerings :) You'll want to check group notices for a notecard named after the train, and I believe the most recently updated card is from the 17th. This has our landmarks and photos of the prizes, and they are all completely free with that group tag active. I started from the top and chose some random ones, but there are just so many that I'd love to do several more posts of them if I had unlimited time ;) This is always an intense month with an overload of treats to share, as I'm sure you can tell. To help you find the gifts, I recommend looking for a sign with a train on it, which is near most but not all of these goodies in the stores.

My first look of the evening comes from [Aleutia] and is their Sol Romper - Violet gift for us. There are lots of great details, like the fabric has tiny sparkles that are hard to photograph but you can kinda see itty bitty silvery specks? There is a HUD included to turn the sparkles on and off, adjust the transparency with 4 options plus off for solid, and the HUD also offers 36 colors each for the bow and tie. The bow includes the belt, and the tie is the slender strand that loops through the front and is tied in the back above the belt. Our romper is provided in sizing for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. 

Next stop, .::BE BOLD::. for their adorable and seasonal Rockabye gift! The top and shorts have a great pattern with deep red trim, and each fit Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Juicy mesh bodies. The gift also includes the plush penguin you see here, with a built in hold pose and a cute Santa hat.

It really was a coincidence that I found another purple gift to share, but I'm also not mad at it ;) The !APHORISM! - Lucy Dress - Plum Ltd Ed is a formfitting mini dress with long sleeves and fun cutout to show off cleavage. She is included in sizing for Classic, Classic Dainty, Curvy, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, and Reborn mesh bodies, with a HUD that lets us pick from 12 colors for the trim (sleeves, neck, and hem ruffle) and turn the built in panties on or off. 

Our gift from Belle Epoque is their sweet Kandy - Pride outfit, several layers all linked into one piece for ease of wear. There are Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes provided. The boldly striped sweater has pretty black hearts, trim, and a long black bow to match the tee beneath, and the skirt is wrapped and ruffled for even more lovely details. I'm a firm believer in pride clothing being perfect for all year long, as a reminder to the community that they will always have my support :)

For my final look, I couldn't resist another visit to Blackstone (yes, I shared an Advent gift from there yesterday) to grab their gorgeous Kareen Dress - Cherry gift. It is just past the Advent tree actually, so you can also click the current date's gift while you're there and get 2 gifts at once :) So this charming mini dress has lace insets on both sides, and metallic trim on the bust, edges of the lace, and studs on the straps that cross above the bodice. It comes in sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies, along with a HUD with 6 metals to choose from. The S shapes of the insets make us look even more curvy, just accentuating our figure perfectly!

Gifts for Maitreya Shoppers

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some group gifts to share for the Maitreya Shoppers group, which is currently free to join. There are lots of participating designers who have gifts for this group (and often a few other groups) in their main stores, and it's always worth checking them out to see what's new. The group notices will keep you up to date on sales and new releases, and I enjoy having multiple stores represented all in one group like this :) Just because the brand Maitreya is in the group name does not mean that the gifts will only fit Maitreya, so please check the captions to see which bodies each gift is designed for.

My first look comes from #SHOOSH, a playful bodysuit called Hayley Lingerie. There are sizes for Belleza Curvy, Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, as well as a HUD with 10 color options. Aren't the straps fun? I love the way they cross in the front from top to panties, and the lower ones are very eye-catching too.

Our .::BE BOLD::. Dress Group Gift #16 is a flirty strapless minidress with extra short ruffled hem and a peekaboo opening in the bodice. This satiny slip dress has an intricate lace inset that reminds me of a mandala, and subtle slits on each side of the brief hem. For my final look of the evening, I am feeling gorgeous in the Lara AC Dress MIONNA GIFT BLUE for our group. Gifts from Doves Dream

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we have a very special event to visit, Doves Dream which is a beautiful tribute to Palomma Casanova of The Free Dove. It was her RL birthday on the 11th when the event began, and it continues until the 11th of April. The location is above Palomma Plaza, and if you wear your Palomma Plaza group tag "Doves Angel" you can claim several free gifts while you shop the exclusive and discounted offers. The area is decorated beautifully, with a stairway to heaven leading to one of her avatar photos :) It all made me feel very emotional, as it's hard to believe she has been gone for over a year already, but I know that she will always be a part of SL in various ways and Shelby Monitor is doing an amazing job keeping her legacy going. This event will be an annual occurrence, while the Palomma Plaza is a fulltime location to visit and pick up generous free gifts from favorite designers.

My first look is the [AF] Ayumi Jeans and Cotton Top, the gift from anny's Fashion. This charming outfit includes the cropped top and miniskirt each in Freya, Isis, Venus, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes. We also receive a handy HUD with 15 solid colors and 12 floral patterns for the top, 15 skirt colors, 12 for the belt, and 8 metals for plenty of possibilities. It is great for spring, and I am excited to wear it :)

Sunflowers were very meaningful to Dove, so the *V* Moonstar Gift - Sunflower Halter Dress is particularly special. The lovely denim dress has a playful ruffle at the hem, and a deep neckline that accentuates the cleavage perfectly. There are sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies included. The bold yellow flowers embroidered down the side are the perfect touch, don't you think?

Next I slipped into the Lara AC Dress LOLI GIFT, which is a versatile and flirty strapless mini. It comes in black, blue, green, pink, red, and yellow that are each packaged in Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes. I'm wearing the yellow on the left above and the pink on the right, and all of the colors have a subtle floral pattern as you see on both.

I am also delighted with the generous Angel Coverall - Hud texture 2 free gift from Delicatt Couture, and who can blame me? The many openings are like lace but edgy, and the jumpsuit looks great in any of the 9 colors from the provided HUD. The outfit itself is included in classic M and fitmesh M for classic avatars, plus sizing for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies.

My final look of the evening is a full outfit from .::BE BOLD::. named Up Fashion. The top and panties are provided in black and white versions each, all in BOM layers, and the crop jacket and skirt each come in Freya, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Senra Jamie mesh bodies. The sneakers are included in the same sizes as the other mesh clothing, with the Senra Jamie versions being unrigged so you can adjust them if necessary. I love the mix of casual, sporty, and sassy!

It was a good weekend here, and I had a productive therapy session today with double outing (well I went 2 places in a row). So little bits of progress are being made, and I am feeling much more positive than I was a few weeks ago. MGSN Gift Train

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'd like to tell you about the fun and generous MGSN Gift Train, which is a tour of participating stores of the MGSN or Maitreya Gifts, Sales and News group. It is free to join, and this seems to be a recurring celebration this time of year :) I do recall sharing some of last year's gifts, and now we've got a whole new batch of limited time treats to help you celebrate the season. There is a Christmas theme among some of the gifts, but not exclusively, so even if you do not celebrate or already have you fill of holiday fashions, you can still find plenty that will suit simply winter or any season. We have the rest of the month to claim these particular goodies, so we'd better hurry! Most of these designers have other gifts out for the MGSN group, so might as well have a peek while you're aboard the gift train.

Composer Girls Fashion is embracing the holiday season with their gift train gift, called !CGF-*Playful Christmas* Outfit. It consists of the halter top, jacket, and two pairs of shorts (high-cut on the left above or the original style on the right) in sizing for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, with a matching thigh socks/sneakers combo in Belleza Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, and Physique sizing. The candy cane mouthie can be adjusted, and the festive hat can too especially with the built in resize script. We can mix up the way we wear this by adding all the parts or just some, customizing the look for our personal style.

For a touch of snowflakes on a dark backdrop of poinsettias, we have the lovely .:AlmaMiranda:. Christmas Train Dress. This made me think of a little black dress but elevated for the season :) There are sizes for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Reborn Juicy mesh bodies provided for this beauty.

One of the non-seasonal gifts I mentioned earlier would be our ::BE BOLD:: Strawberry Show outfit. This adorable top and shorts set are both trimmed in red (slightly festive?) with a print of strawberries and their pretty white blossoms on a blue background. Each piece comes in Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes. Our friends in the southern hemisphere can enjoy this summery treat right now, and those of us in colder climates can simply visit warm locales in SL if we need a break from the snow or chill!

Next I changed into the [DIESEL Deluxe] Carly Outfit Pink + White Boots gift, the combination of which gives me retro 60s vibes with a modern twist. They are both provided in eBody Reborn, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite sizes, and the dress has a terrific amount of shine that makes me think latex. I love how the lacing on the boots is the same color as the dress :)

My final look of the evening is courtesy of [WellMade], their Dany Set GIFT which is just one of many treats they have for various groups including their own :) The strapless dress and cropped jacket each fit eBody Reborn, Juicy Boobs, Erika, Erika Bubble, Freya, Kupra (Bimbo, Low, Original), Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. We also receive a HUD with 2 colors each for dress and jacket, all of which are shown above. There is something so playful about having a traditional knit sweater pattern on the bodice of a formfitting mini dress, don't ya think?

Christmas at Palomma Plaza

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'd like to show you some special gifts from Palomma Plaza, which can be all yours with their free group tag. There are always lots of generous gifts there, but these are noteworthy because they are tucked under a gorgeous Christmas tree :) They are mostly themed for the holiday season, and I'm guessing they will be available until at least the 25th of the month. With so many boxes around the entirety of the tree, I found myself clicking each, making sure the present arrived, then derendering each to keep track. There are dozens, thanks to the many generous designers who are here honoring Palomma's memory and particularly her love of Christmas, helping her spirit live on and bringing joy to others as she always did.

How amazing is this [Glitzz] Lake Dress - Ciano gift? The elegant yet flirty gown and matching long gloves are provided in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies, with a HUD that offers 3 metals. The neckline is where you'll find that metal, thanks to tiny rings holding the halter strap in place, and a few more straps that dangle down the front of the neck with teardrop shaped charms attached. The skirt has such dramatic slits that it is basically a front and back panel, and the back is even more bared than the front plunge :) The color makes me think of ice atop a lake (the name of the dress probably influenced that) or the sky just above one, and the satiny texture is delightful.

Next we have the lovely .:FlowerDreams:. Lenna - black gift, a zebra print gown with lots of great details! The top and pants are provided as BOM (system) layers and appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink, then we add the skirt panel in whichever of the 5 standard mesh sizes fits us best. There is also a chest deco plus chest fur left and right to create that black fuzzy top, then the skirt is comprised of several fluttery pieces - skirt train, underskirt left, and underskirt right. If you are unfamiliar with flexi pieces like this, please just try them each on one at a time and see if you like the look with all or just some of the components. Flexi is fun because it moves when you do, much more flowing than mesh, so it makes walking or dancing look like a party all in itself ;)

Our gift from ::BE BOLD:: is their intriguing Venera outfit, a sexy dress and strappy high heeled sandals all in dramatic black. The dress fits Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn bodies, with sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn for the footwear. I don't remember ever seeing this specific style before, SL or RL, so it certainly caught my eye!

The dress itself has a fun double spaghetti strap with the left side sliding down off the shoulder, and the fabric is adorned with golden reindeer, snowflakes, and trees for that seasonal flavor. I've seen mentioned that there are Lara X sizes among the Shop & Hop gifts, so I need to get there next ;)

The weekend was pretty rainy here, so I didn't go out at all and I am a little bummed by that. I've been watching the housemate play a relatively new game, Paleo Pines, which is relaxing to watch because it involves cute dinosaurs. I am pretty much always of the opinion that the world needs more cuteness, and this reminds me of Animal Crossing but I'm pretty sure they aren't connected. You basically move to an old ranch with your dino companion, meet some of the villagers, and start cleaning up your new home then bringing other dinos to live there. You plant crops to feed them, pet them and play a flute to communicate with them, and explore the valley while riding a dino. Fabulously Free

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are exploring along the FabFree group gift trail, which means visiting some amazing and generous designers who are part of the FabFree in SL blog/group family. The blog has been a source of assistance and inspiration for my entire second life, and I am an enthusiastic fan who loves reminding everyone to check their blog regularly and of course to join the group so you can grab these gifts :) They keep the group gift list very well updated, with dozens and dozens of treats at any given time with more added frequently, so I could easily feature them once a week or more and never run out of things to blog. If any group deserves a permanent place among our precious group slots, it is this one! So pop on that "I'm Fabulous!" group tag and join me for an adventure...

My first stop was BE BOLD, where the name of their Gift #5 may or may not have had me humming Mambo Number 5 ;) It is a flirty dress for the Maitreya mesh body that has an asymmetrical hemline and some slashed cutouts across the back. We also receive a HUD with 3 color choices, with the one not shown being a lovely bright pink. Options always make an already pretty dress or outfit even more special, don't you think?

Time to get snuggly with the .:Bad Rabbit:. Nyasha Sleepwear Set Teddy Bear Dark group gift for FabFree! There are long and short versions of the top, as well as thong panties and full length pants that all fit Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies. Also included are the bear slippers for Belleza, Maitreya, Slink, Kupra, and Legacy flat feet, and 4 versions of the eye mask - over the eyes or atop the head, each with or without a bow. The clothing all features an adorable print adorned with teddies, and I like the ability to shift from cuddly to sexy with the thong or the short top which is lifted to reveal the left breast. Yep, that is why I have my back to you all while wearing that one ;) Of course, that served to show off my bum, so modesty is all relevant I suppose. 

So there are little black dresses, and then there are little black dresses, like this tantalizing [Sexy Princess] Maritina Black Dress. It is provided in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies, and has panels down the front and back that are joined by slender strips across the bust, waist, and hemline. I think a C-string would be very handy if wearing this in public, since most other panty styles would show through, and just about any type of accessories you like can coordinate nicely with the neutral black hue.

Next we visit ::REA:: whose FabFree group gift is currently this playful Constance Sparkle swimsuit. Its intriguing style covers the essentials while baring plenty, so it can certainly bring the drama to any beach or pool look :) There are eBody Reborn, Erika, Freya, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Kupra Bimbo, Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, and Prima Busy sizes included, along with a 6 color HUD. The choices are all flecked with white sparkles, which I think adds a charming touch to the pretty pastel hues. My final look of the evening is the stunning EVENING IN PINK GOWN gift from ART & FASHION. It starts with a strapless mini dress, to which we can add the ruffle skirt either with or without transparency (the transparent version is shown on the left above), all of which fit Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. It made me think of those wedding gowns that convert to a shorter version or at least have a removable train, for freer movement to dance and socialize at the reception :) The color and the bold flowers call to mind a certain popular fashion doll, whose movie I am still eager to see when it is possible to do so from home. This is another location where the gifts are free but need to be 'purchased' for $1L which is refunded to you immediately, creating a transaction history in their records. This probably means it can be redelivered if you ever need it to be, since sometimes things in SL get wonky as we all know.

Well, I was able to get my Genus head update delivered from the HUD they sent out to their new group, so no need to struggle getting into an overly crowded sim/region :) I think there will be a bit of a learning curve or at least an adjustment to switching back to it after using Lelutka for over a year...I misunderstood the update and it was not to Evo X compatibility but a totally different third option (counting standard SLUV map, that of its predecessor and classic avatars as the first) called 4K BOM. It can be used with the original non-Evo-X skins by default, toggled back and forth via the HUD, but I've found that most recent skins and makeup are only for Evo X. So I'm still wearing Lelutka as you can see, and will wait patiently to see what SL's talented skin and makeup artists create :) SL is always evolving in various ways, so this is just another example of that and I am curious as to how it will shake out.
