Shopping and Hopping

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we return to the wonderful Valentine Shop & Hop event,  Gilded region, for some more goodies. The 14 regions of the event are seasonally decorated and filled with 20 designers each, for a total of 280 booths of discounted sales and a gift or two for the visitors. Many offer a gift for all and then a second gift for their store's group members, but all the ones I'm sharing have been ones for everyone with no particular group tag required. There is a nice mix of themed and non-themed gifts, so you don't have to be a fan of the Valentine season to find treats you can enjoy.

First we see the charming MOoH! Mimi Dress gift. This mini dress is notably short, to the point where our designer thoughtfully included a pair of white BOM panties with a note letting us know why and that they are modifiable so we can tint them if we wish. The dress fits Erika, Erika Bubble, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Legacy Nerido, Legacy Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Reborn Juicy Boobs. There's also a HUD included as you can tell, with 10 fun polka-dotted prints :) A few colors appear as the backdrop and the polka dot color, making for a wide range of spotted fun.

If you prefer your Valentine outfits to have a touch of Goth flavor, be sure to pick up this great gift from The Little Bat called !TLB - Rosie Dress. There are sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Legacy Perky Petite, Maitreya, Maitreya Petite, Prima Busty, Prima Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies included. I love the pattern of roses on the formfitting skirt, and the pert little collar topping things off. 

Next I changed into a bolder, more vibrant red in a drastically different styling :) This is the :::WILD:::Fashion 2023_Valentine_Shop_Hop Gift, a one-piece dress with the look of two. It includes Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies, and has a lovely sheen of satin. The cropped shirt is trimmed in black lace, while the long skirt has a daring slit to show off much of the right leg all the way up to the thigh. It really flatters even my relatively modest curves, so just think how it will look on you!

Baiastice is offering their Golden little Hearts mini dress free for all visitors to claim, and it is a real show-stopper :) It is provided in eBody Reborn, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh body sizes. The strapless leather has shapely seams and a smattering of hearts in assorted sizes gleaming on it. Despite the hearts, it doesn't scream Valentines to me, so I can easily see wearing it any time of year. 

My final look this evening comes with a confession...I half gasped, half squealed when I saw how amazingly cute this gift is! ♥ This precious top and necklace combo is the [Witch In A Box] Dog & Rose Tshirt GIFT, and might be the only valid excuse someone would have for staring at my chest without getting glared at ;) The shirt comes in sizes for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Peach, Reborn, and Reborn Juicy Boobs, while the necklace ribbon is unrigged so it can be made to fit just about any body. Those sweet little bat ears and the soft eyes just melted my heart, and this pup can totally be my Valentine. Xan will just have to share, although he'd want to claim the pup as his valentine too.

It was a decent day even with the blood draw, never a fun experience but the phlebotomist where I go is excellent so I usually don't even bruise. Then I did manage to find a pizza place on the way home, not bad but not much above average either so I'm still looking for a new favorite. Trick or Treat Lane

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some gifts from the Trick or Treat Lane event, where not only will you find offers for 31% off, you will find exclusive items for sale and a gift from each designer. No group needed, just buy the little bags outside each display for $0L. This delightful annual event opened today, and lasts until November 2nd so you have a bit of time to visit and enjoy. It was certainly crowded on its opening day, of course SL is generally busy on the weekends anyway so that isn't a surprise. Whenever you go, you will get a sneak peek here and now of some of the many generous gifts that await you.

My first look is the .:cheeky:. Drivana - broken Dress! Black, which comes in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Physique, and Maitreya. From the looks of that blood splatter, I'm guessing that the dress isn't the only thing that's broken ;) It was like that when I got it, honest! The dress does have several little rips and tears scattered about, which certainly adds interest.

We can see two gifts here, starting with my flirty swimsuit from Secret October called *SO* Pumpkin Swimsuit. It comes in a Maitreya size and has a laced up front with a modest rear view. If you're a Hocus Pocus fan, you'll recognize my necklace, the gift from The Little Bat called !TLB Winifred's Necklace. I could instantly hear her calling "boooooook!" in my head as soon as I saw it. There is a handy resize feature built in, just give it a gentle click.

This dress is our gift from {Get Frocked} called Trick or Treat Dress, and it just might drive you batty with that Halloween feeling ;) It comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP, all featuring a studded collar and a colony of bats on the bodice. (I confess, I had to look up the correct name for a group of bats, was initially going to call it a flock but had a feeling that was wrong.) The long sleeves are great for autumn, and the short skirt with daring slit add sex appeal.

[Witchcraft] is offering not just one but two colors of their Ava Halloween Dress as their free gift for all visitors. The orange and the lime are each provided in sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. The silhouettes of spiders, lace, and a spooky graveyard are fantastic for the season.

My final look of the night is a closer view of my lipsticks tonight, which are our gift from alaskametro<3 called "Kiss of Death" lipstick - FATPACK. There are 6 colors to suit any skin tone or outfit, each provided as appliers for Catwa, Lelutka, and Omega along with the system layers shaped for Catwa, Lelutka, or classic. Those are also called "bakes on mesh" layers, since that should be available within SL soon and we will have the ability to wear those system layers on mesh heads/bodies. Meanwhile I hope you noticed that the lower lip of this style has a few ghoulish additions...close up we can see that there are little skulls watching us!

It was a tiring but fun day, although it felt like everyone and everything was running behind schedule. I contributed to that by chatting longer than expected with a couple of people at the farmers market, but I wasn't the only one who did that. A Dozen Good Eggs

Hiya everyone! Tonight we are in the Easter spirit, seeking out various colored eggs for the Dozen Good Eggs Hunt by Vintage Touch Productions. There are actually 13 participating stores (the good eggs!) so a baker's dozen, with each store having 6 eggs to find which each contain a prize for you. You can see how quickly that adds up to a very generous free hunt, and the variety is just as impressive. There is home decor, clothing, and accessories among the prizes, and I am happily displaying some makeup tonight too. All of tonight's prizes are from The Little Bat, and you can pick up the teleport HUD there or at any participating location by clicking the sign. You will also receive a cute basket of eggs in the folder, which you can wear for fun but it is not required to claim your prizes.

For my first look, I am wearing the !TLB Lidia Outfit with HUD, which starts with the Lidia Dress in sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and a standard size. There is also a HUD with 20 texture choices, 4 of which are prints and the rest solid colors, all with the pretty white belt and bow. This prize also includes the Lidia Pants in standard mesh sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique versions. These can be worn separately or together, it's all up to you and your personal sense of fashion.

I kept on the Lidia pants (you can really see the waist here, these are very low riders) to wear with another prize, the Zombunny Tops. There are 7 different colors packed into one egg, so this is another very generous gift! Each shirt is provided in standard mesh sizes and Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP versions. I am wearing Green on the left and Pink on the right, the other colors being blue, grey, orange, pink, and purple.

I am wearing the Zombunny Shirt/Grey here with another wonderful prize, the !TLB ZomBunny Choker. It comes in regular and Open Collar versions, so you can decide if you want the scripting or not, and features the same zombie bunny in white on a green background. It was quite a busy day, and I am trying to get used to an elbow brace on my right arm...while I am left handed, I mouse with my right, so it gets a lot of use and it is a weird adjustment. I had a brief internet glitch when I was about to take these photos this morning, so I'm lucky to even have anything to share tonight to be perfectly honest. That is key though, focusing on the positive that I was eventually able to get back online and inworld to make this post possible. More Tricks and Treats

Hiya everyone! Tonight we will be exploring a bit more of The Wash Cart Sale and their 10th anniversary celebration, where you will find several dozen of the grid's best designers offering selections for $10L or $50L on their carts as well as free anniversary gifts on many, and gachas in the northeast corner. It has been another day of coping with this cold or whatever it is, lots of coughing and wheezing (I do have asthma also) so I still have some recuperating to do. Hot tea with honey, throat lozenges, and distraction are my main weapons against this nuisance ;) We have a bright new week ahead of us, and I am hoping that it brings plenty of healing and happiness to us all. The Wash and Hidden Summer Fairies

Hiya everyone! Tonight we have more exciting finds from The Wash Cart Sale, one of my favorite regular events where all items are just $10L and there are dozens of talented designers offering clothing, accessories, decor and much more. I also have another special treat that frequently appears here on my blog, the Fish 4 This set from Sn@tch which changes every 2 weeks. I was trying for an angelic smile, but somehow I look like I captured a slightly mischievous thought going on here. The dress is the Violet version of our Summer Fae Dress, to which I have added the Sn@tch Delicate Choker (Silver & Gold) as well as the Summer Fae Wings in Silver. The beautiful wings also have a gold version which you'll see in a moment. The necklace is so pretty, a delicate silver choker with gold rings in the front, and a longer bolero style silver with gold beading. With both metals incorporated, it will look terrific with either pair of wings and either color of eye makeup.

Here are those lovely gold wings, added to the Summer Fae Dress in Seafoam, and the Sn@tch Fishnet Garter Stockings in White. In the closer look you can see the Summer Fae Eye Makeup in Gold (silver is also part of this set) and the Summer Fae Lipstick in Nude, which also has an Ice shade on the Omega HUD and as a system layer to fish for. The lips have a sexy shine to them, and the eyes remind me of a baby deer's spots. As you can see, there are plenty of ways to combine these generous pieces, and don't forget there are ears and a hair in pastel shades that are part of this Fish 4 This set too. You can customize your level of faerieness (yep, I made up a word, but you get the idea) by choosing how much to wear at any given time.

Friday at The Wash

Hiya everyone! I am starting a rainy RL weekend with some cheerful SL finds that I hope brighten your day as they have for mine. Tonight we will look at a few more Wash Springtacious Cart Sale bargains, an ideal spot to get a great deal on clothing for any avatar (male, female, child) and accessorize them in style, or decorate your home for well below retail prices. The event lasts until the 12th of April. I also have a few more Kiyomizu Hunt prizes to share, as I have found most of those well hidden ninja cats at the Kiyomizu Mall and at some of the main stores of the designers found there. First we have two finds from The Little Bat's cart at the Wash, each for a mere $10L. The shirt is their Beach Please Top, in standard mesh sizes and bearing a clever slogan for those of us in areas where it is still a bit chilly and are longing for fun in the sun. The shorts are the Rachel Shorts w/HUD and they include standard mesh sizes along with Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions. The HUD lets you choose from 8 color options, and you know I greatly appreciate versatility. The straps are intriguing, giving your look a playful edge. Pair them with each other, or with any of your favorite wardrobe staples. Be sure to visit the Pretty Kitty Design cart while you're here, and you will find several beautiful varieties of their PKD Bubbles Dress for just $10L each. On the left you can see it in Cloudy Night, on the right is Cotton Candy, and it was a challenge for me to narrow it down to just a couple random picks from all their charming color combinations. Each dress includes standard mesh sizes plus versions for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique bodies. This look is ideal for warmer weather, those soft colors certainly made me smile. The top is from White Shell, their Camisole especially for this hunt. It comes in a single mesh size with matching alpha layer, and I would like to mention that at another of their stores (separate location, separate cat) they have a matching skirt as a prize so if you wear a classic avatar or have a fairly slender mesh avatar/booty (mine was apparently too large for the skirt, LOL) then that gift is a nice option for what to wear with this lovely top. I have paired it here with the prize from Shop Ichiko called Denim Shorts. These pale minty green shorts come in several fitmesh sizes: XS, S, and M standard, Slink, and Maitreya versions along with the alpha layer for the classic avatar. The thin white belt is an attractive added touch.

Nails always make me happy, and this prize hiding in the ninja kitty at Hapi*Rabi is clearly no exception! These are their Spring Song nails which include 5 designs on yellow/green ombre, and there are HUDs included for Omega, Slink, and Vista nails so these are suitable for a wide range of hands.
