Hiya everyone! Tonight I am back with some more Wash Cart Sale finds, as their 10th anniversary celebration winds down but is still going strong this weekend. You have until November 1st, so a few more days to pick up sales items for $10L or $50L, free gifts, and even gachas for $50L or less per pull. Trust me, you won't want to miss out on the savings and the fun! I have visited at least a dozen times and brought Xan since there is clothing for the whole family, as well as accessories and home decor. Another exciting event that I am thoroughly enjoying just started less than 24 hours ago, Hocus Pocus...not the awesome movie, but the annual SL event where you teleport to each participating store, and say "hocus pocus" (without the quotes) in local chat to possibly receive a prize or be told to try again in 24 hours. This year we are chatting with Pumpkin McExtra, he is wearing fun shades and purple nose rings so he is easy to spot in each store. If he is feeling cranky and does not give you the prize, you can either try again (you should get several chances since this lasts until the 5th of November and you can try once every 24 hours) or you can purchase the prize for $50L. The HUD is available on the marketplace or at the office for free, and shows you a preview of the available prize when you click each store name.
First let's visit the Elgund&Nilsson cart at The Wash, where you can find these very pretty shirts and skirts that you can mix and match to your heart's content. My tops are their NIL - Kera Cornucopia on the left and NIL Kera Dahlia on the right, each available for $10L (other colors/designs too) and include system layers plus Omega, eBody, and Afrodite appliers. On the left I am wearing their NIL - Maia Pewter skirt, on the right is Maia Fuchsia, and each are $10L and include standard mesh sizes. These separates are ideal for many occasions, and can be paired with plenty of other items for variety. I can see wearing these shirts with casual jeans for example. Next we visit the Tiar cart at The Wash, where I have selected this bodysuit from among their wide selection to share with you. It is called Tiar Omega Rockbody, and you can guess that indicates that it is an Omega applier for this lovely look. The front has a geometric feel with the square neckline and crossed front straps, and the back is quite modest yet sexy. This applier is just $10L, a very nice price for a chic suit. It's time for Hocus Pocus! This great dress is our prize from Sorbet called Ava Dress [Spooky Edition] and includes Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes. There is a handy HUD with 5 texture options, two of which you can see above. On the left, that does say Crazy BAT Lady, which made me chuckle :) As a future crazy bird lady, I am somewhere between cat lady and bat lady I suppose. Just visit Sorbet, find the pumpkin in sunglasses, and say hocus pocus to him to see if he will give you this terrific gift.
One last look of the evening, I also got lucky with the Pumpkin McExtra at Belle Elephante (that is not as naughty as it sounds...) where I won their Cutie Pumpkin nails. There are Maitreya and Slink HUDs included, featuring 10 different color combos with happy jack o'lanterns grinning at us from each. With all these bright hues, you can bring a taste of Halloween to any outfit and look amazing doing so.
I apologize for not blogging yesterday, I was feeling a bit overwhelmed and run down from this cold or whatever I've been fighting. I left the house for the first time in a week, and had a delicious dinner at my parents' earlier, so I am starting to feel a bit human again ;) The cough will probably linger for a while, as they do tend to overstay their welcome. Tonight I am excited to share a few gifts from the Body Art 3 Hunt, a small free gridwide hunt that will help you decorate your classic or mesh avatar with makeup, manicures, tattoos and more. The hunt object is a parcel wrapped in brown paper, and there are just over a handful of stores in this one so it shouldn't take you very long to find all the generous prizes. It's an enjoyable way to add some new pretties to your inventory.
My first look is the stunning prize from alaskametro<3, called "Lo Poly" Blush and it is included in system layers plus an Omega HUD in 6 different shades. This is the palest since my skin tone is fair, but I suggest trying them all to see which gives the look you wish against the tone you prefer. The faceted look is beautifully unique, isn't it? Just find the parcel and give it a click to claim your copy.
These two makeup creations are a sample of the 6 color combinations included in our prize from SlackGirl, their SG Fly Full Face Makeup in system layers plus appliers for Omega and Akeruka. These are really eye-catching fantasy makeup looks, and when I tried on a primarily green one for Xan, he commented that I looked ready for some Poison Ivy cosplaying :) The possibilities are endless.
I did mention tattoos, and our prize from TAOX TaTToo does fit that bill perfectly of course. It is called Belly Always and includes system layers along with appliers for Slink, Omega, Belleza, Brazilia Doll, KL, and Signature, each in Dark, Medium, and Light. I am wearing the Dark to make sure it showed up well in the photo. As you can see, it features the word Always along with an ice cream cone and pair of glasses, light blue with a pink shadow. Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is not about the endearing movie Hocus Pocus (which I'll be watching again in a few hours) but rather an SL event also named Hocus Pocus. You can claim lots of free gifts by visiting each store and saying "hocus pocus" in local chat (all lower case) near the sign and magic bottle that reminds me of a glass candle in a jar. You have at least a 30% chance of winning and can try once every 24 hours, until November 4th. If you get impatient you can always by the prize for $50L instead. You can get a HUD for free on the Marketplace or by clicking the signs to help you TP quicker from place to place, and it shows a preview of the prize for each store right in your viewer screen, but the HUD isn't required to claim them. I find it very handy though :) There are still quite a few prizes I haven't won yet, but I wanted to show you some of them tonight before it gets too late to claim any of them.
This look features a few different prizes, let's start with the clothing...this romper is from Bodhi and comes in several mesh sizes: Small, Medium, Maitreya, Freya, Isis, Venus, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique. The terrific shoes are from Dilly Dolls and are called Glinna, they come with a HUD that adjusts the fit for Maitreya or Slink Mid, and offers 4 color options along with the choice of having the strap black or the same color as the stripes. On the right above, I changed the purple in the middle to Black Strap but left it matching the other colors. If you are admiring my hair, the good news is that it is also a Hocus Pocus prize, this one from Love and called [Blush]. It is a very generous gift too, including a full fat pack of color HUDs (blondes, brunettes, candies, gingers, greyscale, mystics, oddities, ombres, pastels) plus an exclusive Hallow HUD.
This is the same romper and same hair (this color choice is from the Hallow HUD) but here I have added a new buddy whose acquaintance I am very pleased to make! This is the prize from PSYCHO:Byts called Familiar Cat - Poison. He does have a vial around his neck that seems to be glowing ominously, and he is animated so he was a bit wiggly while I was posing for our photo. He looks like a moss-tinted Siamese or Snowshoe, one of those colorpoint breeds that are so elegant looking.
Another hair color change, and another outfit...this lingerie is our prize from Goth1c0 called Vampy Lingerie. It is included in system layers along with HUDs for Lolas, Omega, Maitreya, Belleza, and Slink. So detailed with those delicate closures in the front and the lacing in the back! I imagine it would take considerable magic to get them all closed, or to open them carefully in a hurry. I accessorized with our gift from Indulge Temptation, their !IT! Deadly Necklace which comes with a handy HUD offering 10 metal choices and 16 colors for each the bow and the gem (coffin) so there are countless possibilities of combinations to suit any mood or outfit.
I have so many gorgeous nails to show you, starting with this amazing gift from Hello Dave. Their prize is this Hocus Pocus HUD for Slink and Omega, with 35 varieties (5 versions each of 7 styles/colors) so I'm showing a very random sampling here. I think I'm partial to the marbled purple and the stormy night looking deeper purple, but it all depends on what you're wearing and what colors you favor.
Another wonderful gift is this Stitched Slink HUD from Bella Elephante, which offers 10 designs with that Nightmare before Christmas vibe. Look like Sally, or enjoy these year round as I intend to.
One final look of the night, this is the prize from DP Koffin Nails called Witch's Brew fatpack. All it takes is a bit of luck and lots of magic.
I am still having crashing issues in SL and even crashed when I was trying to take the first photo here...the best thing for me to do is try to reduce my inventory some more and try to be patient, easier said than done. I am still here, just a bit frustrated and slower than usual. At least I was able to login today, unlike Saturday morning. Hiya everyone! Tonight I am pleased to share some more Trick or Treat gifts from the Candy Fair 2016, along with one of the gorgeous swimsuits for sale from alaskametro<3 at the very same location. I am fortunate enough to be part of her blogging team and honored to show you one of the many exciting sales items as well as some fun gifts.
My first look features the "Melted" swimsuit from alaskametro<3 in Candyfloss, one of several options, which is on sale for $64L at the Candy Fair, down 15% from its usual price of $75L. The suit includes system layers along with appliers for Slink, Maitreya, Omega, and even an Omega with materials so you can play with those settings :) There are 5 other flavors colors to choose from, and some very pretty leggings with candy prints too. The gacha is nails, a definite weakness of mine, and they look delicious too! You may have noticed the horns I am wearing in this photo, well they are a trick or treat gift from the fair as well, from Ayashi. They're called Lisara horns and include resize and rigged versions, and a handy HUD to change the color to anything you like.
What's that, you say I've got something on my face? Sorry, I just got so hungry talking about all this food! I am digging into the candy from this gift bowl with built in pose from HopScotch, which is called Yummmm. My first look is a very sexy one indeed, a Rally To Rescue exclusive from Whatchama Call It. As this outfit is appliers only, it sure looks like I got my mesh body just in time :) For just $99L you will receive Belleza, Slink, Omega, TMP, and Maitreya appliers for a wide variety of bodies, and I am loving the details on this! The delicate butterfly in the middle of the top is so alluring. Remember, as a Rally To Rescue donation item, the full cost of this is going directly to charity to benefit animals.
I put this gorgeous Sea Side Set inside my lil house, but you could put it in a yard or on a patio just as easily and it would look terrific. This is the Rally To Rescue donation item from Serenity Style and is just $120L for the full set, which are 2 parts that are soft linked so you can rez them out while in edit mode and then move the pieces together, or you can arrange them separately. I scooched the pillows a bit to the right so I wasn't blocking any of the words Sea Side from your view. The pillows have 7 different beach sits built in, great animations including this one where I'm brushing my hair from my face and shoulder. Those soothing colors are a treat for the eyes.
Speaking of treats, I headed to FA Creations earlier and was delighted to find this Windsong Outfit as their group gift for July. Their group is free to join, and with the tag you can claim this soft and flirty tank and skirt set. The skirt is provided in standard mesh sizes, the top in 5 classic, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, and Maitreya (I didn't see a Slink size so I wore the small fitmesh and it worked out very well) so there is a nice range for various shapes and bodies.
I found this summer treat in the landing area outside the FA Creations store, another group gift called FAC Sunny Bikini. This comes in standard mesh sizes plus an unrigged version for each the top, bottom, and a top - bottom combo so you should be able to make this work with nearly any shape or mesh body. The bows are a sweet touch, and I love the shimmery effect of the texture.
One last look for the night, Bella Elephante and Elephante Poses are celebrating their 2nd Birthday with some lovely nails for free to everyone. Hiya everyone! It is a humid night here, but the weekend weather looks fairly nice so that is a relief. Some days are easier than others when it comes to deciding what to blog, and I tend to go on instinct, which led me to the Marketplace today for more seasonal goodies. The Pulse Fundraiser is still on my mind and is on my nails as well, as you will soon see...another item whose proceeds go to helping those in Orlando. I even found some related items on the marketplace, which shows that plenty of people believe in love and caring.
Let's get this party started with a sexy bikini that would be great for a beach party or pool party this weekend. This is a gift on the marketplace from Kona Beach, their Stars and Stripes, which includes a male and a female swimsuit. The ladies' gift includes system layers, appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink, and the bows you see on each hip along with bows for the back of the top (not shown, hidden in my hair LOL). Very generous as well as a flattering suit.
My next look is also from the marketplace, starting with the crop top from Kandee's Fashions called Blue USA Crop Top. It comes in plenty of mesh sizes, including 5 classic, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink, and would probably work well layered over the bikini from the first photo if you want a bit more coverage of the underboob area. The jeans are also a fun marketplace find, the Delizio Jeans and Appliers for Maitreya and Omega. These versatile wardrobe staples come in a wide variety of colors: light blue as shown, blue, cream, black, green, lilac, pink, pink pinstripe, and white. You get the whole fatpack for free!
As I mentioned, there are a few free gifts on the marketplace that are honoring Orlando, and I am delighted to show two of them here. Feet: Slink AvEnhance Feet Female Deluxe Pack
Hiya everyone! I am very eager to show you some prizes from the Body Art II Hunt, a free gridwide hunt for the month of June with some really fun gifts to be found in the hunt object which is a small package wrapped in brown paper. Some are remarkably tiny so keep a sharp eye out :) Their site has hints, and you can pick up a notecard full of LM's at their starting location. Tonight I am focused on one of my favorite things in SL, nails! Lots of art potential there, and it brought out plenty of creativity from our designers.
These were supposed to be combined into one photo, so please pretend that they are and that I didn't groggily forget ;) I thought you might enjoy seeing my new dress before looking at all those nails, and it is a lucky board prize from one of the hunt participants, !cream spaghetti hair!, their Minato Dress in light pink. My first nails of the night are their hunt prize for us, Denim Print Nail Applier fatpack. You get all 10 options you see here in a Slink HUD, and I love the denim texture in the various colors as well as the colored tips on traditional denim blue. These are great for when you're wearing your favorite jeans, or just want to add a pop of color to any outfit.
My second manicure is a treat from Rad Designs, their Diamond Days HUD which is compatible with Slink, Omega, and Maitreya. There are 6 different brightly colored designs to choose from, and this definitely looks like RL nail stamping that I never got the hang of, combined with some sponge ombre work. No need to spend hours in RL and use up half your nailpolish when you can obtain this fun look in a single click right here in SL :)
Maybe you are looking for something a bit more creepy, well the prize from alme. will fit that bill nicely. Their prize is called Scare Me, and the HUD with 3 designs is compatible with Slink, Omega, Maitreya, and Belleza. The stitched broken nail design reminds me of Nightmare before Christmas, the peeking eyeball works well with the stiletto shape nails, and the spooky tree is subtly beautiful.
Bella Elephante has a fantastic prize for us, their Beam Slink Nails HUD. There are 10 gorgeous colors in a subtle abstract pattern, and you can mix and match them as you wish. I am particularly fond of the soft greens and vibrant blues.
My last look of the night is a really humorous one, our prize from DP Koffin Nails called Sperm-tastic. Yep, you read that right, and you're seeing it correctly above...those are little swimmers darting across my nails. There are 9 designs, mostly black and white but one is a fun rainbow of sperm (wow, there's yet another phrase I never expected to type) and they're small enough that from any distance they probably aren't recognizable for what they truly are. An egg even makes a few cameos, the little guys need a goal after all. This fatpack includes Slink, Maitreya, and Omega HUDs to give even more hands a giggle.
Wow, what a day...I got very little sleep and I wanted to take a nap but was delayed by a big wasp in my bedroom. Delayed, terrified, something like that. My parents stopped by and by the time we went upstairs, the little monster had vanished again, so I eventually managed a safe nap after all.
