Hiya everyone! Tonight I am delighted to share some finds from The Wash Cart Sale, whose new round started today (the 31st) and runs until February 14th, called Spring is in the Air. Now in my RL neck of the woods, we probably have at least a month before spring visits us, but in SL it can be any weather or season we choose. All items at the Wash cart sale are just $10L this round, and some of your favorite designers can be found there (or you might become acquainted with a new favorite). I also visited I.M. Collection to pick up gifts for various groups, and discovered that they are having a brief free enrollment period for their store group. The bad news is that it ends in a couple of hours, so you must hurry if you want to join for free! Tomorrow SL time, it will cost I believe $75L to join the group, which is not bad considering there are over a dozen gifts available with that group tag. I just wish I had found out sooner so I could have shared the information sooner. Timing really is everything in SL.
One of the many offerings on the K&A Design cart at The Wash is this Rhea Dress in blue, only $10L for this beauty. It comes in an impressive range of sizes: 5 standard, 5 fitmesh standard, Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. I love the variety of textures, fishnet top and lace trim and even a bow on the back, above the small opening. The belt looks like leather, and the pattern reminiscent of hearts is ideal for the upcoming Valentines holiday. Artic Storm is a regular at the Wash cart sale, especially handy since their mainstore is located on that very sim. For this round, they have plenty of terrific offers as usual, including this charming *AS* Lois Wrap Dress in Mauve. There are other colors available too for the same great low price, and each includes standard fitmesh sizes plus Belleza Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. Most of the styles on the cart are new releases for this event, which is just another reason to be sure to visit.
Heading over to I.M. Collection, if you wear your free SLF&O Group tag, you can claim this sparkly treat in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. The sequin texture takes your basic black dress and kicks it up a notch, in an elegant and sleek style.
Speaking of elegant, switch to your (also free to join) Fitmesh Fanatics group tag and you can claim this pretty dress in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. The back has an intriguing deep V, while the front is a modest rounded neck, and the gilded design on the skirt is a terrific touch.
For my final look of the night, I randomly chose one of their store group gifts, I.M. Collection Group Gift 3 Ciara in Yellow. Now as I mentioned in the beginning of my post, this group is only free to join for another couple of hours, but I suggest taking a look at the 14 available gifts anyway if you do read this after midnight SL time and the group has switched back to a fee. It might still be worth your while, $75L is still a bargain for so many gifts that are all mesh body compatible. As you can see, this dress is very detailed and well textured, and it is included in sizes for Hourglass, Physique, and Maitreya.

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some great selections from two different events to share, so this post is bursting with exciting photos and information. The Wash Cart Sale is celebrating their 10th anniversary with this autumn round of $10L and $50L cart offers, many free gifts, and even gachas in the laundromat (northeast corner) on the sim. The other delightful event we will be seeing items from is Fashion Dazzle, brought to you by the same special lady as Free Dove, with whom it shares a peacefully decorated sim. I am honored to bring you bargains from both impressive events, and I hope you find some ways to treat yourself as we begin a brand new week.
I am starting off this post with a bang, in two extremely sexy outfits that look great with my new hair. This is the Firelight Polaria hair that is discounted for Fashion Dazzle, so you can choose an individual color pack (Blacks, Blonds, Browns, Reds, Essentials) with 12 shades each for just $99L, regularly $250L each. Or you can treat yourself to the full fatpack with all color HUDs for only $249L, which is regularly $599L. On the left I'm wearing a shade from the Reds, on the right is a lovely Blonds tone. These stunning boots are found at Fashion Dazzle as well, an offer from Oh Pair called Sheridan and selling for just $175L. They come in sizes for Belleza Freya, Belleza Venus, Maitreya, and Slink Physique, and include a great HUD with 24 color choices each for main, sole, heel, and laces, plus 4 camo-type patterns that cover all parts at once. My outfits are both from the Wash Cart Sale, found on the K&A Design cart for $10L each...on the left I am sporting their K&A Design - Cedar Dress Set (Brown Plaid) whose top and skirt are each provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Physique. It looks to be materials enabled, as I was picking up some red sheen from ambient light in my skybox. This is the same stunning Firelight Polaria hair in two shades from the Browns HUD, and we are ready for cooler temperatures in two selections from the Baci cart at the Wash Cart Sale. The sweater dress on the left is called Baci-Opium dress 49 (standard sizes plus Belleza, Maitreya, Slink), and on the right is Baci-over the leaves 49 dress which comes in standard, Belleza Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP versions. These short dresses look perfect with the other boots on offer at Fashion Dazzle from Oh Pair!, their Dahlia style for $150L. Boots are such a fun choice for this season, and these are particularly eye-catching as well as versatile.

If you noticed that my hair suddenly got darker and more dramatic, good eye! There is another special color offer by Firelight at Fashion Dazzle, the Polaria Darks Hair which includes an 18 color HUD of deep shades like purple, green, and fuschia darkened to nearly black. Just $125L which is marked down from $275L, for the Fashion Dazzle event only. You can let your inner goth come out and play with these shades, or simply enjoy creative hues in dark options. Hiya everyone! Tonight we explore a bit more of The Wash Cart Sale, where everything is just $10L and there is a great selection of clothing for the whole family (men, women, children) as well as accessories, home decor, textures, and much more. At those prices, you can afford to enhance your summer wardrobe and spruce up your living space too. Another fun place to explore is the Kiyomizu Mall, where they are holding their Kiyomizu Summer 2017 Hunt that I so enjoy each round. We are searching for ninja cats, there are signs at each participating store with his photo on it and there are friendly ghosts floating around (above the sidewalks) who will send you to a website showing you which cats you've found and where you still need to visit, if you ask nicely by clicking them.
My first pair of outfits are mix and matched from the K&A Design women's cart at The Wash, and their men's cart is right next door. My shirts are their Carly Cropped Shirt, Tie Die Blue/Pink on the left and Tie Dye Green/Orange on the right, and each come in what I call the lucky 13 of mesh sizes (5 standard, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, Slink). The shorts are their Stacie Shorts in Love Pocket on the left, Tie Dye Pocket on the right, and each include standard fitmesh sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Curvy, Fine, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique versions. Mishmash Fusion is another terrific cart to visit, where you will find some sexy swimsuits and cute summery dresses in various colors. Here you can see the Xanadu Trikini in Pink Paisley on the left and in the middle, because you definitely deserve to see that playful rear view :) This includes sizes for eBody, Hourglass, Physique, Maitreya, and a Standard Small and Standard Large, and there are other designs including transparent colors, for just $10L each. On the right is their Timeless Mini Dress in Purple, with dramatic V neck and soft ruffles, in a standard fitmesh size plus Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique fits. Two different ninja kitties teamed up to help me build this lovely outfit, as White Shell has one cat hiding at their Kiyomizu Mall store and the other in their Cinema Wave store (advice: peek next to the hunt sign, you will need that teleporter) so they are different stops on the hunt path. The lovely White Shell Dress Camisol Hunt Prize from Kiyomizu Mall pairs beautifully with the White Shell Long Maxi Hunt Prize, and each come in a single mesh size with matching alpha layer for classic avatars. For variety I might wear that skirt with a white shirt to pick up those fun laces on the front, and the shirt would look pretty with a nice pair of denim shorts (like the ones above from the cart sale!) so they are both quite versatile.
One last look of the evening, this is our hunt prize from Dreamer called Elegant Summer Dress Kiyomizu Hunt. It is a long slender style with full skirt and comes in a single mesh size with the alpha layer you will need for classic bodies. I think it would be at home in any season's wardrobe, not just summer :) I can picture it with a little bolero style sweater in autumn for example. Just find that hidden ninja cat and this treat is yours to enjoy.
Quick hair note of the night: I was in the mood for a bit of retail therapy, so I headed to Shiny Shabby and picked up Wasabi Pills' offering there called Berry Mesh Hair. I chose the reds pack, as I do, and it was $250L for two sizes plus an unrigged version, and HUDs for color and accessories. I do have quite a hair addiction in SL ;) The pretty wisps and delicate braid really caught my eye.
It was a hot and humid day here, and a busy one too, so I am very happy to be relaxing at my computer while enjoying the air conditioning. Another hectic weekend is almost here, and I think the weather is going to be stormy so that should make things interesting. There are clothing choices for men, women, and children, as well as accessories, home decor and much more. It is always worth visiting to see what deeply discounted items you can find to treat yourself. Another fun weekend activity is gridwide hunting, and tonight there are a couple more peeks at Kiyomizu Hunt prizes which I certainly enjoy each season. Their Spring 2017 hunt runs until the 9th of April, so you have over a week left to find several dozen well hidden ninja cats.
If you need a flirty dress for warmer weather, I highly recommend the Poeme cart at The Wash where a mere $10L will get you into this lovely Sunny Flowery Dress in your favorite color. I picked up this very cute Kiyomizu Hunt prize by finding the hidden ninja cat at *Ran*. It is a one piece mesh outfit of overalls and a striped tank top layered beneath, and is provided in 4 standard mesh sizes (XS, S, M, L). The bright blue looks so pretty against the black and white of the tank top, and this is a fun outfit for casual SL pursuits like gridwide hunting or whatever you wish.
Another stop in the Kiyomizu Hunt is Hi's Style, and their ninja kitty will reward you for finding him by giving you this beautiful dress. It includes several fitmesh sizes: 5 standard, Belleza, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique. The soft pink shade is quite lovely, and the style reminds me of a modern take on the classic toga. You can see that it has a high slit on the left side, and the straps are unique because of the draping.
My weekend is going well so far, I misunderstood the plans for a houseguest who is staying a day longer than I realized, and that is not particularly good news (not all houseguests are always welcomed by all residents of a house I suppose) but I will amuse myself by spending time in SL of course :) It serves as an excellent distraction sometimes. Along the hunt path, I found this lovely Off Shoulder Knitted Dress in Patterned tucked inside the globe at OMG! Inc. This single mesh piece with the look of two comes in standard sizes and includes a HUD with 7 texture options so you can pick the look you like best. I enjoy this cozy look and feel like it will work well throughout the winter into the spring and maybe beyond.
If Marilyn Monroe wanted to feel pretty in pink, I think she could do so very well in this beautiful gift from Ghee's globe! This is their Peace On Earth Gown and comes in standard mesh sizes, with a soft pastel color and irresistible satin texture.
One more look from the hunt, this is the DANIELLE POE 9 Skirt and Turtleneck. The skirt is in 5 fitmesh sizes, and the turtleneck comes in system layers along with appliers for Belleza, Lolas, Maitreya, Omega, and Slink. The cuffs and turtleneck are separate attachments that you can adjust as needed. I love the twin corset lacings down the front of the skirt, and the dark snowflakes scattered about.

Hiya everyone! It is my great pleasure as always to be here sharing some of SL's best bargains and hunt prizes, in the hopes that you will be able to enjoy them too. The Wash Cart Sale is a wonderful seasonal event, and this Winter round is special because there are selections you can buy as a transferable gift for whomever you wish. The hunt is the Peace On Earth 9 Hunt, which I'm pretty sure I have been a hunter of since its beginning (my rez date was in September of 2007) and the prizes just continue to delight. Find the hidden globes (the earth upon which we are wishing peace!) for dozens and dozens of fabulous prizes.
I do appreciate a nice warm sweatshirt, and we deserve to look good while feeling cozy, right? Head on over to the K&A Design carts at the Wash, and you will find these adorable hoodies for just $10L each. On the left is the Santa Baby Hoodie and on the right is Winter Gray Hoodie, each are included in sizes for Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, Maitreya, Slink Physique, and Slink Hourglass. Maybe you need something a bit more dressy, and you have a Maitreya body, well this lovely Tiar Miss Santa BBG dress is waiting for you at the cart sale. It simply comes in the single maitreya size, and has a slight ombre fade to a less intense red on the skirt. Since the hunt object globes for the Peace On Earth hunt are textured to look like the earth, the colors in this prize from Prism actually do remind me of the deep ocean turquoise and the golden accents like the land. This is Prism Holly by Journey, and comes in standard mesh sizes for the dress and the separate belt, so you can choose to wear the dress alone or belted. I love those golden straps that dress up the shoulders, they add quite a fancy touch.
There is another prize for the ladies among the many Prism buildings (along with one for the men!) and it is this lovely Prism Ceanna Shimmer Gown by Jezzixa in Holiday. The gown itself looks to be materials enabled, as I got some lovely shine from ambient lighting in my home. It comes in 5 standard and 5 fitmesh sizes, while the satiny wrap comes in 8 fitmesh sizes including Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions. I think it looks beautiful either way, but being a bit chilly in RL would possibly influence me to wear it with the wrap.
I really do enjoy seeing comfy pajamas in SL, so opening this prize from Posh Pixels immediately brought a smile to my face. Their adorable Gingerbread Dreams PJ's have a well-dressed gingerbread gal on the front, and the one-piece pajamas come in standard mesh sizes. Best of all, there is a HUD included for 3 color combos as shown, so you can easily decide which one suits your mood at any given time.
Well, today went about as well as I could have expected, with some dental work that should have been done a few months ago finally being taken care of...I was mostly relieved to have that numbness worn off, such an unpleasant feeling but better than the actual pain. Now I can look forward to eating a Christmas Eve meal with the family in comfort :) I still can't believe it is almost here, but will be glad to see 2016 come to an end so we can have a fresh start. Hiya everyone! Weekends in SL can be busy but we certainly deserve to look our best, and a great way to do so is to visit the Wash Cart Sale for their current round and its Indian Summer theme. Most of the items are $10L, with each designer having the option to also offer a special $50L item. These are truly impressive selections, being offered for just 2 weeks at a mere fraction of their full value. Another fun activity for weekends or any time you have some spare time inworld is gridwide hunting, and my latest hunt path has been the Renaissance VI Hunt. I have some gorgeous goodies from each to show you tonight, enjoy!
First we have two selections from one of the carts for K&A Designs (they have two, right next to each other) perfectly coordinated in amazing colors. The dress is called SoftRose Dress and comes in 9 fitmesh sizes including Belleza, Maitreya, Slink, and TMP versions. The adorable matching SoftRose Sandles are for Slink flat feet and I love the way the flowers adorning it tie in with the delicate pattern in the bodice of the dress. Another fun cart sale find is this playful set from Emerald Couture, called Rock The Rabbit Black N White. For just $10L, it includes the mesh top (with those adorable long bunny ears hanging from the hood!) in 6 sizes, system pants with an Omega applier, and the sassy boots that work with Slink high feet or you can alpha out your default system feet. The rocker rabbit image on the top made me smile, and those shiny stiletto boots are so sexy! Their main store can be found here, and the cart link is in the credits below as usual.
Along the hunt trail, I visited Hig's and was delighted to find this elegant Renaissance Lady in Rust as the female prize (yes, there is also a great prize for the gents) inside #031. Isn't that high collar stunning? This gown comes in standard mesh sizes, and is well suited for roleplay but certainly not limited to it by any means.
This next prize from Inaras Fantasy Couture captivated me as well, reflecting a less formal but no less striking style of the times. This is Inara's Germanic Beauty, which certainly lives up to the name, and is included in standard mesh sizes plus a fitted version. That embroidered trim and the colors really caught my eye, and I do have some German heritage so there is an appeal there as well. Just find that little gargoyle at #038 and you can claim this for yourself too.
It has been a very enjoyable day here, still quite warm and filled with good food and even better company at the farmers market. They are preparing for Oktoberfest next week (yes, I know it won't be October yet, but the baker from Germany explained that it's a festival lasting a few weeks there and does in fact start this month not next) so that is something else I get to look forward to :) I hope you're all having a wonderful weekend, magical magpie hugs to everyone!!
