More Black Friday Bazaar Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are continuing to delve into the many gifts available at the Black Friday Bazaar 3. This event is brought to us by Evil Bunny Productions, so it is the Evil Bunny Hunt group (free to join) whose tag you will need to have active to claim all these treats. Just look for the black drawstring bags at nearly every display, next to a small framed photo of the gift, and give the back a click to receive its contents. There are some really impressive finds among the gifts, as well as among the many selections for sale that are discounted by 25-50% until the event closes on the 1st of December. 

My first look of the evening is our gift from Starlight Apparel called .{SA}. Roux Dress & Belt. Each piece comes in sizes for eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. It is nice to have them as separates so you can wear the dress without the belt if you prefer :) The teal color is a classic beauty, and I think it would go well with all sorts of jewelry and styles of shoes. 

Since Black Friday is traditionally the start of the Christmas shopping season, it makes perfect sense to find some themed offerings among these gifts, like the one from Dragonmoon Designs seen here. This is their [DD] Christmas Fun, a flirty mini with slits both front and back that create short panels for the skirt. The pattern reminds me of Christmas sweaters, sometimes called ugly although I find them very endearing :) The gift includes Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP sizing. 

The gift from ATLANTIS DESIGN, Too Much Wine, gave me quite a chuckle :) The top reads "I'm on the naughty list because I wine too much" and the I in Wine is a wine bottle. I appreciate the play on words with wine/whine, and I know several people who would wear this in RL too. The tank top and PJ pants are each provided in fitmesh standard sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine, with an additional size of eBody for the top. 

Next we go formal and seasonal with the Donni's Dollies gift, DD Marronda Gown-Rudi Purple. Its full flared skirt is hiding the platform sandals that come with it, in the same pretty purple as the solid top and background of the skirt's pattern. Did you notice the reindeer on the skirt have a red nose? It must be Rudolph, here with some holiday cheer and tiny pops of color. The gown comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, while the sandals fit Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink High feet.

My final look of the evening is an extra provocative one, thanks to the Prism Geisha Sheer Lingerie by Jezzixa RED. This set consists of the semi-transparent lingerie and matching solid black thong panties, each in a standard fitted version for classic avatars, along with sizing for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies. With all that skin revealed, it seemed like a good time to display a gift of body art. The tattoos are the gift from LOVE LACE DESIGNS called ::LL:: Sweet Tattoo {OMEGA}, and it is an Omega applier for the upper body. There are bows on each inner wrist, various sweet treats on each arm, and the word "Sweet" on the upper chest with a cupcake on one side and a wrapped piece of candy on the other. It is such fun to experiment with tattoos in SL, pain-free and easy to change on a whim. 

This morning I was pleasantly surprised to be able to make a hair cut/color appointment for tomorrow afternoon, since I expected a much longer wait with people wanting it done before Thanksgiving even if their time with family would be via video (facetime, zoom, etc.) but I got really lucky. I have to find a book to bring since I don't really want to touch magazines that others have touched, possibly coughed or sneezed on...I was already a bit of a germophobe before our current situation, although I did usually read their magazines and just wash my hands after. It is embarrassing to admit that I am a bit nervous, but at least you know I am not being careless. My hair loses its shape and its natural waves when too long, and I think I will feel a bit better about myself in general if my hair doesn't look so awful. My stylist is a very kind and friendly person, and I will get to see new pictures of her young grandkids who are simply adorable. It Was a Graveyard Smash

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we continue along the Monster Mash Hunt path, looking for those cute ghosts hiding behind a tree with the full moon above them. You can hunt for the hidden one to claim each prize for just $1L, or you can purchase the prizes at the hunt sign for $25L if that is your preference. The hints, landmarks, and most preview photos are on the hunt website, so you will want to have that available while you take part in the adventure. The hunt lasts until the 31st, Halloween, which is quite fitting of course :)

When you claim the prize at Georg Bellic Design, you will receive both the male and female prizes they have designed for this hunt. This of course is the ladies' gift called Ella Dress & Jacket, which are linked together and worn as one piece in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies. There is also a HUD provided with 3 choices each for our dress and the jacket, so you can mix and match as you wish.

This cozy looking outfit is our hunt prize from The Sissy Bar, which they have simply named Monster Mash Hunt. The sweater comes in standard mesh sizes along with eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine body sizing. The coordinated leggings are included in system/BOM layers and an Omega applier, so there is considerable compatibility there. 

This prize from Dragonmoon Designs just screams Halloween! It is called [DD] Lady Ghost MMH, and is one of two hidden hunt objects since there is one for the men also (so be sure to follow the correct hint!). The long jacket and short shorts are each included in sizes for Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh bodies. The belt is built into the jacket, which also features bold cuffs and collar. The gift for guys has a preview image on the hunt's site so you can see if your favorite male avatar wearer is interested too.

I am really impressed by the prize from Uni Boutique, which is this lovely Strapless Mini - Gothic Red. It is technically only strapless in the front, as there are two golden chains across the back and one leading up to the neck where it loops around front to create a beautiful choker. It comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP sizing. I think I will find myself wearing this beauty year-round!

My final look of the evening is also red and black, and distinctly flirty. It can be found at Dixie Designs, and is their DD Skull micro mini Blood which comes in two versions. The original and sheer are each provided in standard mesh sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP sizing. I am wearing the sheer version here to show you both front and back, and in the original style it is solid black beneath the red skull overlay, even where you see the sheer areas here. Fun side note - this store is located on one of my favorite sims, The Wash, where there will be another cart sale next month :) 

When someone needs to speak to me on the phone rather than via text, I immediately feel a strong sense of dread that it is going to be bad news. So when my mom said she needed to call, it was not a surprise that she had to start with "I think she's okay, but...". Long story short (or at least shorter), she has elevated blood pressure and an irregular heartbeat so they are trying to get her admitted to an overcrowded hospital. She has been waiting in the emergency department for more than a full day at this point, thanks to a spike in covid cases in the area recently. I pointed out to my mom that if something were seriously wrong with her, they would be pushing her to the front of the line for a room, so in a weird way it might be a positive sign that they aren't in a hurry. She will keep me updated, and I will do my best to stay calm. Meanwhile I hope you've all enjoyed your weekend, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Elemental Desire Hunt

Hiya everyone! Tonight we have some $1L hunt prizes to enjoy, from the current round of the Dirty Little Secrets hunt called Elemental Desire 3. The hunt object is pictured on the hunt's website, a grouping of 4 circles that each have an element (air, water, earth, fire) depicted on it. There is a $1L womens path, a $1L mens path, and a $25L path, so be sure to follow the hints to find the correct prize. The hunt runs until the 25th of the month, so you have plenty of time.

My first look has me feeling provocative in pink! It is the prize from Uni Boutique called Loryne Dress - Pink, and it includes Altamura, eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and Tonic Curvy sizing. The lace-trimmed hemline is notably short, and I love the way the back is tied with a long floppy bow. 

Next we visit Cats n' Kittens Boutique, where I was able to find their very generous prize. The Fire & Ice Set of Dresses includes both the Fire on the left above, and Ice on the right, each in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. They have built in sheer skirt layers for a little more fullness, and a lovely X strap in the front that loops around the neck. 

Many hunt paths lead us to The Sissy Bar, a store whose name comes from the term for a part of a motorcycle which makes sense with the store being located near a motorcycle club :) This is their terrific DLS/EDH Tied Top & Booty Shorts outfit, with a delicate floral pattern on the top that looks lovely paired with the solid grey of the fluttery shorts. This prize is flirty without being overly revealing, which is precisely my style.

The prize from LOMO by [ IBAN ] is loaded with sex appeal too, as you can see...it is called 281 Dress Paisley Club, and consists of the dress (top), skirt, and chain each in sizes for Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya. There is also a HUD provided with 17 texture choices (10 patterned and 7 solid colors) for the top piece and the skirt. It also has buttons that my poor eyesight could not read very well, LOL, but seemed to be to adjust the transparency of the fabric. I accidentally made the top invisible at one point, which should teach me a lesson not to randomly click buttons that I cannot read ;) Small print, especially light words on a dark background, is my downfall with my particular vision problems, but I can certainly see how lovely this dress is!

My final look of the evening honors two elements, fire and water. They are the Dragonmoon Designs prize called [DD] Elements Top, a long sleeved blouse tied in the front for a belly baring look. Each color comes in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizing, so most mesh or classic avatars can find a size to fit them. I am wearing it with some free jeans from Delizio found on the marketplace, the white pair out of their fatpack that includes system/BOM layers plus Maitreya and Omega appliers. They are frequently seen in my posts as a versatile way to share tops with you that have no included bottoms.

Hiya everyone! Tonight we are back to the Womenstuff Hunt path, one of the 5 categories in the All 'stuff Hunt event this month. There are so many possibilities that I truly feel that anyone can find something to enjoy, and there is still a little more than a week left to search for the various t-shirts and claim your $0L or $1L prizes.

Robot Dolly has a terrific $1L prize inside their red t-shirt called Luna - Denim Mini. The rainbow heart decorating the front made me happy, and the tiny ruffles at the neckline and hem are great details. This prize includes standard mesh sizes along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions so it is compatible with classic avatars and mesh bodies.

If you love denim like I do, then be sure to also visit Dragonmoon Designs to claim their [DD] Horizons Dress for free inside their red shirt. It is crafted in a flirty style with bare shoulders, detached short sleeves, a very brief skirt, and a thin strip in the front and the back to connect the top and skirt. I also found the red t-shirt hiding at Grumble, where my single little linden dollar rewarded me with their Little Black Dress and their Getting Glam Pearls. The dress has such high slits on each thigh that the front and back resemble panels, and the strapless style keeps it from being basic or boring. The multi-strand necklace matches the dress wonderfully, although I think it would pair nicely with lots of other looks already in my inventory too. My final look of the evening is courtesy of Le Fashion Whore, since I was able to find their free t-shirt by following the hint on the hunt's website. With 2 dozen colors to choose from, you can have so much fun changing your look with pastels, brights, and neutral shades. Such a flattering shape too!

Hiya everyone! Tonight I would like to show you some more Stupid Cupid Hunt 8 prizes, since there were so many participating stores that I had a hard time narrowing down what I wanted to share. When you find the golden arrows with red heart tips that Cupid dropped in each store, just pay $1L and you will be rewarded with a gift worth far more :) There are hints, landmarks, and some preview photos on the website so you can locate those arrows easier and know what you will be claiming. The hunt lasts until the end of the month, so you have a decent amount of time to find all the prizes you wish.

Our first stop is Hopes Creations, where the arrow holds their [HC] Jaxx TSCH8 Cropped Tee. This seductive outfit is our prize from MELANGE!NC. called =Corse' Love Tease=FitMESH Ensemble. The dress comes in standard mesh sizes plus a standard fitted version for classic avatars, with Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique versions for those mesh bodies. There is an Omega applier for panties that are mostly hiding beneath the sheer skirt, and even the matching shoes are provided for Slink High feet.

Demons and Heathens

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have a free gridwide hunt to tell you about, that you can easily complete this weekend to claim all the wonderful gifts. It is the Demons and Heathens Hunt by Mischievous Mayhem, and we are looking for a Devil Doll (she reminds me of Betty Boop gone goth, LOL, I love her!) of which there is a photo on the website above all the hints. All you have to do is find her at each store and give her a gentle click, and she will reward you with a folder containing the hunt prize and the landmark to the next location. There are 23 stops with one being skipped for now, so this isn't a huge hunt but absolutely worth your time if you like what you see here. I was feeling inspired by the devil doll I think and wanted to have a more curvy look, so I switched to my Hourglass body and even experimented with Bakes on Mesh for these looks.

It's not a secret that I am a fan of The Sissy Bar and their many generous hunt prizes, so it should be no surprise to see their (TSB) Demons & Heathens Gown featured tonight :) The gorgeous gown comes in sizes for standard, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP, with matching shoes included in Belleza, Maitreya, Slink High, and TMP versions. The dress is flecked with a shimmery sequin texture, and I gasped when I turned around and saw that spellbinding bare back with delicate chains. It reminds me of a peace symbol, oddly enough.

~MystRie~ has a fully packed gift waiting with their devil doll for us, as their DHH19 prize consists of the gown and several accessories. The gown is provided in sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and a standard fitted version, and the hat you see is included with a built in resize script. Included but not shown are a mask that covers the eyes and comes down like a jawbone beneath the face, and even a blood bucket with femur stirrer that you can rez out as a decoration. 

Another elegant gown can be found with the devil doll at T&S Designs, their lovely Deep V Neck Gown Sky Blue. It is provided in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body versions. The embroidered design looks like leaves and roses, such a pretty addition to the satiny gown with modest train.

This flirty look is courtesy of Changed Seasons, and is called Daphne. Its dress is included in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique, with matching spider leggings in the same sizing set. You can add your favorite heels or sandals and you will be ready for a seasonal outing.

My final look of the night is sure to put some sizzle in your weekend. The Dragonmoon Designs DAHH19 Gift is called Wicked, and the outfit and pasties are each provided in Freya,Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. There is also a HUD that offers 6 colors for the outfit, 3 for the tassels, and 6 metals for base of the tassels. Wowza!

I will share some of my adventures with BOM, in hopes that it helps anyone reading who hasn't tried it out yet. I have on my Genus classic head (not updated for BOM yet) and my Slink Hourglass Redux, which is updated for BOM and has a much lower complexity because of it. The hands and feet are part of it, so no need to add all those separately. I tried the free BOM relay from the Omega store, but it did not work for the Genus head, so I had to purchase one from the marketplace for $125L. Genus has not released any estimate of when their update (expected since at least March) will be ready, so this is a handy workaround for those like me who do not wish to wait :) So I removed all alpha layers, wore the HUD from the marketplace for the head, and wore my 7 Deadly Skins system layer skin I purchased yesterday called Wanda V1. She can be found in the system skins area near the lucky boards, and there was a 50% off sale for the month of September that was still in effect this morning but I cannot guarantee it is still the lower price. However, it was only $50L so wouldn't be expensive even at full price. It is their apricot skin tone, a little darker than I usually wear but not much, and the makeup is just gorgeous. I will have system layer clothing on tomorrow for at least one look, so you will see that feature as well. It was quite a day, in which I learned what it sounds like when an alpaca sneezes, and that one of my parents' cockatiels like croissants. My parents eat gluten free for medical reasons, and they picked up a croissant for me as a treat, which prompted one of the birds to approach and chow down. They are usually too shy to eat table food from humans, so it was a positive experience, and I got to give him some head scritches too ♥. I am also very happy that hockey season is here, and my favorite team won their season opener, so my mood is definitely cheery. Hiya everyone! Tonight I have more wonderful hunt prizes from the Around The Grid 7 Hunt to show you. They are hidden inside red and yellow striped hot air balloons for $1L each, or you can purchase the prizes without searching for $25L near the hunt sign if you are not a fan of hunting but are a fan of the prizes :) We have until the end of September to find all the balloons, so there is plenty of time to follow the landmarks and hints on their website.

This first look comes from Sweet Intoxication, their charming Sundae - Sweet Treat Pack. The strapless jumpsuit comes in fitmesh standard sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. There is also a HUD included with 6 soft pastel color choices.

The prize from Dragonmoon Designs is a gorgeous dress called [DD] Pink Goddess, which fittingly looks like a toga in style. The burst of color beneath the gathered bust is a pretty touch, too!

Next we have a treat from Dark Intentions, their prize called DI: Chantelle Summer Dress. This daring body-conscious mini is the prize from Aurora's Closet, their .{AC}. Lily Summer Dress Mint. It is provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizing, two versions with one having M in the name that just occurred to me is probably "materials". I love how the straps cross in the back, then come over the shoulders to lace through the front and hold everything together. 

My final look of the night is the ladies' portion of the prize from Georg Bellic Design, their ~GBD~ Tropical Line Beach Dress Grid 7. It is provided in standard mesh sizes along with versions for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. It is quite sheer, so I think it would make a fantastic coverup for a bikini or swimsuit. The sleeves have clever slits in them from just below the shoulder to a bit above the wrist, very flirty.

My day has somehow gotten rather stressful, too much going on and people I rely on in my life are choosing to make things difficult. (Not Xan by the way, he is helping me stay calm) I have an appointment tomorrow, then a few things planned in the upcoming days that will keep me hopping but mostly positive things. More Dumpster Diving

Hiya everyone! Tonight we have more prizes from the Dumpster Diving Hunt to enjoy. It is a free gridwide hunt in which we are looking for small blue dumpsters, by following the hints provided on their website which also tells you which stops have male, female, unisex, or multiple hidden prizes. There are landmarks in each prize folder, which should be up to date but if you ever get stuck the website is the place to go. I really do enjoy the Mischievous Mayhem hunts, of which there are several throughout the year.

This evening's first look comes from the dumpster at Fire Within, their lovely *FW* Willow outfit. It consists of the loosely tied blouse and skirt of denim and patterned flowing fabric, each in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. The front of the denim portion of the skirt is laced up in a color that matches the blouse, such a pretty little touch.

Next we see the female prize from Dragonmoon Designs (a male prize is hidden separately here) called [DD] Country Dirty. This softly ruffled dress comes in sizes for Altamura, Eve Pulpy, Eve Slim, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP. There is also a HUD provided with 2 shades of denim, both shown above. The style really caught my eye, especially the slender strap across the bare back.

The prize at Ambient Fashion is their DDH19 Marietta Romper, which comes in a dramatic eggplant shade of purple. Inside the gift you will find standard mesh sizes as well as eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. 

My final look of the evening shows you two different hunt prizes. The outfit is from Barbed Wire Kisses, called {BWK} Sil Outfit. The top and skirt are each included in sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine, in a wrapped bandage style of blue and green fabric. The body art is from Leave Your Mark Tattoo, their When It Rains tattoo which is provided as an Omega applier for most mesh bodies. It reads "Stay Strong" on the belly, which is certainly good advice these days, and has a myriad of various art styles on the arms and back.

I enjoyed my usual Friday dinner at my parents' earlier, homemade stuffed shells are always a treat :) I am tired but have a few more hours of things to do before I can get a nap before the morning's farmers market, so it will be chaos with a touch of caffeine.
