Hiya everyone! If you have been reading my blog recently, it probably won't surprise you to see that I have a few more bargains from The Wash Cart Sale to show you :) The event lasts until the 5th of July, so you have a few days left to visit and take advantage of these incredible offers. Something else I like to do every few weeks or so is share some FabFree group gifts, that is the Fabulously Free in SL group whose blog has been a longtime guide and inspiration for many residents. Many designers offer free gifts for FabFree group members, which is free to join and absolutely worth the group slot.
This lovely gown can be found among several other discounted items (all just $10L each) at the Savoha Creations cart, it is named Oyster Long Dress and includes standard mesh sizes. The dramatic hem and burst of color in the bodice really caught my eye. Their mainstore is right here on the Wash sim, right near their cart, so you can visit that as well. I felt this dress deserved something just as beautiful to wear with it, so I selected this Endelza Laria Set from LUMINESSE among the many offers on their Wash cart. For only $10L, you can pick up this necklace with matching earrings, and the necklace even has a resize script built in for a perfect fit. There are other selections too, both for men and women, from chokers to rings to belly jewels. Their mainstore is also located right here on the Wash in the vicinity of their cart, so this photo definitely represents their local merchants.
I had a little fun with wall lean mirrored poses (from Verocity, as all my poses are these days) to show you these summery offers from Vicarious Youth on their cart. Their Tent Dress can be see in Lemon on the left, and Teal Batik on the right, there are two other designs plus some beachwear for both kids and adults on their cart, all just $10L each. This tent dress includes 5 standard fitmesh sizes plus Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique versions. After you visit the Wash, pop on your FabFree group tag and head over to Glitter where you will find two terrific gifts waiting. From the landing area, the main Glitter store is at the other end of the long courtyard (you'll pass other stores and some lucky chairs in the middle) then turn right when you enter the store to find all their gifts for various groups. This is their GLITTER - KITTEN body suit with Appliers Pink, and there are system layers along with a HUD for Slink, Maitreya, Belleza, Omega, and eBody. That little face is so sweet, and the ears are a delightful touch. As you can see from the side view, the coverage in the rear is fairly modest and I am thinking this could work as a swimsuit as well.
Glitter also has a smart dress for FabFree group members, their CUPID Dress w/Appliers & Mesh panel Skirt Navy. As you can tell from the name, there are system layers plus appliers for Slink, Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, and eBody, and the skirt inset comes in standard mesh sizes. My first thought when I saw this was that it looks professional, then my next thought was that accessorizing it can make it look more casual or dressy. Maybe you can pick up some nice jewelry from the cart sale to wear with it :) *points up to the Luminesse info from first image* Half the fun of getting dressed in SL is deciding what type of look you are striving for, to create an outfit that tells us a little about your taste and mood.
One last look of the evening, this is actually two different FabFree group gifts. The top and hat are from Ecce Bellus, their 4th July Shirt and Summer Hat. The shirt is included in S, M, L, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, and the hat with watermelon print on the band has a built in resize script. The skirts you see here are two of the 4 included in our group gift from ONE Creations, their DQ Double Layer lace skirt fatpack. Each color is in a single mesh size (so I'll guess fitmesh) and besides the blue and red here, there are black and brown versions as well. Either gift can be matched with anything already in your inventory, but it was convenient to have those matching colors for this photo.
Whew, what a day! Hiya everyone! Tonight the Hair Fair 10th anniversary gifts I'll be showing can all be found on the Brunette Sim, which I found the hardest to get into because it was filling up pretty often but definitely has terrific finds :) If you have a hard time getting in, you could try a neighboring sim (the SLurls are all on their blog along with a map) and cam into it. First let's have a look at a random selection of those generous gifts!
There is a clothing gift to be found along with all the fun hair, and that is this DQ Flower Dress from One-Creations. It only comes in one mesh size, but it wasn't a bad fit at all, as you can see. My elegant updo is the gift from Besom, called Fun Bun Too Much Fun with the Essentials HUD so you can choose from 12 different colors. I decided that I went with too much red/auburn for my photos yesterday, hehe, and you deserve to see a wider variety of colors so this is a pretty light brown.
Here are 2 views of the many colors available via HUDs for the Calico gift named Quinn. Those HUDs include blacks, blondes, browns, fades, rainbows, and reds. I am showing you Chocolate Pie and Crystal from the fades HUD, but just think of how much fun you can have with all the various colors!
This cute style with the pretty blonde fading to blue is the gift from Wasabi Pills, and is called Pepper in Sorbet. The headband has a HUD that changes the color of 2 parts of the band and 2 parts of the knot on top, so you can get a lot of variety and have a ball with it :)
How stunning is this style? Meet Faith by L+N Signature Designs, a beautiful mesh style that is an exclusive Hair Fair gift and comes in several colors. I am showing you the red-blond but there is also black, black-red, blond, brown, brown-brown, green, platinum, red, and red-brown so as you can tell, several have these lovely ribbons of highlight color. I want those gentle waves in real life!
Another gift with a variety of colors can be found in the tent of [KoKoLoReS] and more good news, it comes in male and female versions. The name is Ash, and the included HUDs will let you choose from a total of 90 colors! 3 HUDs, 30 choices each, including roots and fades and wild colors along with the more traditional hair colors. I went with a pretty blonde in the front view, and an intriguing fade in pastels from the rear. The style is so flattering too, I really like this one.
Speaking of flattering styles, I completely flipped for this one as soon as I tried it on! This is Bernice by !lamb. and has several great colors included: blood fruit, blush (shown), honeycomb, ink, mango, powder, and twix. Those precise bangs, that tapered shape, I can't wait to wear this one again and again!
