Winter is Coming

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post features several treasure hunt prizes from the Winter is Coming event at Wonderland Beach. It is a shopping and treasure hunt event, so we get to explore the area and find wrapped boxes which are about the same size as the treasure chests that you would usually be seeking here :) They are different colors so just keep an eye out for the shape of a wrapped giftbox, most were white with a light blue ribbon/bow but some were red and green or had a different ribbon color. As for the prizes, they range from seasonal home decor to fashions for men and women, with some accessories including antlers and reindeer noses to get ready for Christmas. It's hard to believe that is just over a month away! That coincidentally is when the event ends, the 25th of December, so we have plenty of time to grab demos and enjoy some leisurely shopping while finding generous gifts.

First we have the stunning Lilleth Mills x GLOSSY - Lilac gift. This sleek mini slip dress has lace trim on the bodice for added sex appeal, and fits Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Kupra Bimbo, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Reborn Juicy mesh bodies. There is also a special effects HUD included with 24 reflection colors, and settings for glow, shine, environment, and transparency. I have a light teal color selected on the left and a pale orange on the right, if you look very closely, and had a lot of fun playing with the various buttons to adjust things.

I also found a special prize at the (BB Design) display, which is their Open back Babydoll Green. This sexy lingerie set consists of the babydoll with sheer lace top and matching g-string, each in standard mesh sizes along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body versions. That rear view is a real show stopper, isn't it?

Next I changed into the beautiful Red Hot Salsa Micro Mini Dress in Mesh gift from Angel Fae Boutique. It really lives up to the name with that sizzling color and irresistible lacy texture! There are standard mesh sizes provided as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP Legacy mesh body versions. Xan got a kick out of how excited I was to find something with red hot salsa in the name, since I cannot tolerate RL spice and he is very well aware of that fact ;) My avatar however is clearly a fan of hot stuff!

Let it go, let it go...no wait, that's not quite what this says ;) This purple-loving magpie was delighted to claim the Let It Snow Sweater, Jeans and Boots by Moonstar, a generous prize that will work for classic avatars or most mesh bodies. The top and jeans come in system/BOM layers and appliers for Maitreya, Omega, Slink, and Lola, with a collar that can be resized and a pair of boots that can also be adjusted. The boots look so warm and snuggly, and you can easily wear the outfit without the collar if you prefer or if it interferes with your hair. 

My final look this evening is just right for cuddling up in front of a fireplace, especially after a large holiday meal if you are celebrating :) This is the Red Long Johns with Footies by COVETED! and is one of two gifts inside their treasure hunt present, the other being men's cargo pants. The ladies outfit is all one piece in a subtle plaid pattern, with a cute rear flap and buttoned front placket. It includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. The red might make you think of Christmas, but my focus at the moment is purely Thanksgiving :)

I want to wish all my American readers a very very Happy Thanksgiving, and to all of you who are not American or do not celebrate, I wish you a wonderful day as always ♥. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to share my free and affordable findings with all of you, and the chance to share little tidbits of my life both RL and SL. My 'dinner' starts at 1PM so it will be a busy day from the start, and I am excited to see everyone who will be there. We are expecting 11 total I believe, so not a huge gathering but just the right people to make it special. There will be fruit salad (my mom's yearly tradition for 50+ years), two soups, smoked turkey breast and lots of veggie sides, and of course some desserts that I will not have room for by the time we reach that part of the day. Everyone will go home with leftovers, and we are good about not letting discussions get controversial so it should be a pleasant day. No blog post tomorrow evening, and I don't know yet if I'll be able to on Friday but am leaning towards yes. I hope you're all having a beautiful day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Summer Is Coming

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post brought me to a venue I have explored many times before for various events and treasure hunts, Wonderland Beach, with their current round called Summer Is Coming. There are treasure chests to click for free rewards, at carts and in surrounding stores, brown wood with lids that open when touched to reveal gold treasures inside. The area is always decorated beautifully to match the theme, so it was certainly a pleasure to wander around and admire the scenery while finding the treasure chests. The event opened a few days ago and runs until the 25th of June.

This pretty halter top is the prize from Starlight Apparel called .{SA}. Casey Halter Top Summer Heat. It is provided in sizes for eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. The teal and orange leaves create a fun tropical pattern that make a nice nod to our event theme. 

Do you feel just too glam to give a damn? If so, you need this prize from The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co.! :) Their TOO GLAM Tee comes in standard mesh sizes along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine body sizing. The pink and turquoise color combo looks sharp against the black backdrop while giving me 80s Miami Vice flashbacks, LOL, although they are a stunning color combination for any decade. With this top and the first prize this evening, I am wearing the white pair of the Delizio jeans fatpack which is free on the marketplace, several shades in system/BOM layers and appliers for Maitreya and Omega.

Next we are ready for some summer sun and fun with the Angel Fae - Red Hot Bikini in Mesh prize. This delightful two-piece swimsuit includes standard mesh sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body sizes. The sequined trim has silver hoops connecting and holding things in place, very pretty touches. 

Park Place Casuals has another wonderful bikini for us, their Blue Naples Bathing Suit - Texture Change. The bra and panties each fit Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies, and the prize also includes a 3 texture HUD so you can pick either of the two above or a solid blue that is similar to the background shade on the left above. I love the crossed straps in the back, adding a slight twist on a classic bikini style. 

My final look this evening is the LM SALTY - Tropical swimsuit from Lilleth Mills, a playful one-piece with the appearance of a bra top layered beneath. There are sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Kupra Low, Kupra Original, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies, with a 3 color HUD for the trim. The vibrant pattern is great for summer with tropical components, and the accent hues match perfectly no matter which you select.

Sometimes adulting is hard, LOL, especially if you tend to be forgetful as I am lately. The appointment I have on Thursday with my family doctor should include discussing the results of the blood tests I was supposed to have done before hand, except I forgot to get them done the past couple of weeks so I'll be going tomorrow and hoping they get the results to her in time. She likes the tests to be done about 1-2 weeks prior to the appointment at most for a very up-to-date view of what is going on, understandably, and I should have put "make bloodwork appt" on my calendar but I failed. Summer Is Coming

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post features prizes from the Summer Is Coming Event and Treasure Hunt. They are free and can be claimed by finding and clicking wooden treasure chests at many of the displays. There are an impressive range of designers taking part, so you and your family can find new fashions and redecorate your living space for the upcoming season. 

My first look is the charming Mara's Mysteries prize called *MM* Sarai Springtime Dresses. It comes in sizes for Altamura, eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies. There is also a HUD provided with 10 texture choices, 5 of which are solid colors and the other 5 beautiful florals. The style is really eye catching too, with the fluttery high-low hem and intriguing straps in the back. 

I also found a prize from Freya's Fashions called Kirby Swimsuit (PolkaBrown). This treasure chest will ask for payment of $1L, but it will be immediately refunded while the gift is delivered. It includes system/BOM layers as well as appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, and Slink bodies. One piece swimsuits have just as much potential for sex appeal as bikinis, depending on the design, and I think the chains and thong rear here demonstrate that wonderfully.

I combined two treasures for this look, so let's start with the clothing :) That would be our Cherry Amore Roxxy Lingerie, a bra and panties each in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine body versions. There is also a HUD to show or hide the writing on the elastic. It shows off just enough skin to allow me to share the [SS Creation] Tattoo Timeless Unisex prize. There are system/BOM layers in 50%, 75%, and 100% opacity, so you can decide if you want your ink to look fresh or faded. The abdomen looks like the skin is torn to reveal gears beneath, and both upper arms have artwork in addition to the full back piece. 

My final look of the evening is the daring LM BELLE - Coral from Lilleth Mills. This lace top and satiny skirt are each provided in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Kupra Low, Kupra Original, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies. The color is so pretty, and the sheer top might turn a few heads ;) I would only wear it to places where adult clothing is permitted since it does reveal hints of my nipples, unless you have pasties or shields that match your skin. 

It was a slightly better day here, and my RL is getting a little bit less chaotic. Anything that gets things moving in the right direction for once is a positive thing :) I got a kick out of something that made me smile...right after the lawn was mowed, I happened to be in the kitchen and glanced outside where I saw several birds hopping around excitedly where I guess the freshly cut grass revealed some bugs for their dinner. There were several robins and a pair of cardinals who brought flashes of color to the party. I would have thought the noise would scare them away for a while, but the front yard was still being mowed while they were feasting. Autumn is a Wonderland

Hiya everyone! Tonight I decided to switch things up, so I headed to the Wonderland Beach for their Golden Autumn Fair which also features a treasure hunt. You can find the treasures for free by clicking the googly-eyed pumpkins (flat prim) which are mostly in plain sight but a few are hidden behind things. I suggest you check out each stall or cart carefully :) There are small buildings around the outer walkway, and lots of carts in the middle area that also have discounted offerings and some gifts too. One of the gifts was in a rounded pumpkin with a black ribbon on it, naturally I can no longer recall whose, but I tend to hover over everything and read hovertext when I am on a treasure hunt which explains how I stumbled across that goodie.

First we see the Lilleth Mills gift called LM ZORA Mini, in a rich suede texture of caramel brown. The gift includes sizes for Altamura, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies.

Mara's Mysteries has multiple displays at the Golden Autumn Fair, and they have hidden a pumpkin at each with a present for you :) The dress on the left is their Lianne Halloween Spiders Dress, which comes in fitmesh standard sizes along with eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. On the right is the Rhonda Dress - Skulls, in standard mesh sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine fits. The dresses are both short and flirty, so even with their differences I am glad to have found both. Another gift (not shown) is a bikini and sarong set to wear when you escape the cold and head to a tropical locale.

Another beautiful way to celebrate autumn is with this gift from Kandee's Fashions called Red Fall Dress. It comes in single size that is fitted for Maitreya mesh bodies, and falls above the knee with pretty ruffles in the dip of the neckline. I really like the pattern of vibrant leaves falling and floating in a breeze!

TrendZy Apparel is offering this perfectly themed Gail 1 Mini Dress as their treasure hunt prize. It includes a standard fitted size as well as eBody and Maitreya mesh body sizes, all with orange leaves on a pale peach background. All we need is a neutral pair of shoes and a maybe a favorite necklace or pair of earrings and we're ready to hit the town :)

I slipped into my handy dandy Delizio jeans in black (free marketplace gift, several colors in system layers/Omega & Maitreya appliers) to show you two fantastic shirts from among these gifts.
