FLF Bday Bash

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm excited about the FLF Bday Bash '26, which is short for the Fifty Linden Fridays sales event and their birthday bash. I enjoyed it very much last year too, so of course when I found out about this round I was a very eager magpie :) For lots of events with group gifts you'd be looking for traditionally styled giftboxes, but here at FLF the gift holders are cups of rainbow shaved ice like a snowcone but in cup form. Click each one with the FLF group tag active, and it's free to join so all these goodies are yours at no cost whatsoever. Of course we have plenty of $50L offers to partake in too, for the fifty linden part of the name :) Sales and gifts, who can resist? Obviously I couldn't, and I'm glad we have until the 4th of September to visit as many times as needed to check out all 100+ designers.

I'm starting out the post with the very sexy Casadel "Lily" Mini Dress Purple gift. The lavender shade is stunning, and I'm captivated by the daring openings and loosely laced skirt slit. There are sizes for Classic, Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu bodies, along with a 12 color HUD for the ropes. This brand has a style that is sure to turn heads, and this gift is no exception :)

I suspect that -Pixicat- is celebrating Summerween with their Ema Kimono (Bats) gift :) Either that or it's just a nod to Halloween a tiny bit early, and I expect lots of you will find that appealing. The modern styled kimono has a wide pleated belt and short skirt, while the top is even more faithful to the traditional garment. Our gift includes Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu sizing, as well as a HUD with 27 colors each for the collar and belt. I appreciate the combination of classic and contemporary :)

I've combined two wonderful gifts here, so let's start from the top. That would be our [WAZ] Contour Rib Lounge Shirt (250 Stars) gift from Wazzer Works. It comes in sizes for Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, with corresponding alpha layers and a HUD to apply the texture you see above. It is a default solid white before you use the HUD, still wearable but I personally prefer the knit texture. LEROY has 3 separate gifts for us, all next to each other so be sure to click the entire trio of shaved ice cups individually :) One of those contains their Rebeca Pants - Lilac seen here, a gorgeous pair of flowy pants with playful openings down the front of each leg. They fit Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies. 

The lovely LEROY - Nika Dress - White is in another icy treat cup, and I am mesmerized by the pearly shimmer. This beauty is provided in sizing for Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. I'm sure you noticed the sweet treat in my left hand, which is our [Apika] Bubble Tea & Croissant - Gift. There are left and right hand versions included, both a rich boba tea with delicious looking croissant resting atop the cup. The croissant looks like it either has chocolate or cinnamon inside, which would you prefer? With SL our imaginations allow it to be anything we wish. 

Sorry, I got a little hungry for my final look of the evening, but I promise not to type with my mouth full ;) The *>Kiu<* - Party Cookies_FLF Gift Amoeba is very tasty looking, decorated with white icing dotted with various colors to make it bright and eye-catching. Mouthies are such playful additions to any sort of outfit, so I simply couldn't resist sharing.

I'm having a rough night because I tried my new glasses for a while, and they had the same effects of severe dizziness and nausea. I put them on about 6:30 tonight and threw in the towel about 8, so I wore them about the same length of time as the first pair with very similar results. My stomach might never forgive me at this rate, heh, but once I feel better I will try to figure out what on earth to do next. Happy Anniversary to The Fifty

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're celebrating the 4th anniversary of The Fifty event, same brand that brings us Fifty Linden Fridays each week :) If you've ever gotten a fantastic deal towards the end of the week, they are probably responsible for that. This event is all in one spot, unlike the FLF sales list that brings us to mainstores, and when you visit this event you'll notice little cardboard boxes at most of the displays. Those are our group gifts, and the Fifty Linden Fridays group is currently free to join so these are as budget-friendly as can be :) Of course there are also terrific discounted sales offerings to enjoy, so we don't want to leave our wallets at home entirely.

This sweet and sassy dress is our -Pixicat- Alana Dress - Skull gift. The squared neckline is trimmed in lace with a bow in the front center, and the full sleeves look great with the flared skirt :) We receive Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu mesh body sizes, along with a HUD offering 30 colors for the bow, 2 for the lace, and the option to show/hide the trim. I really like it with the white lace to bring out the skulls from the pattern, and the bow has so many choices that you really can't go wrong with any of them.

I am also grateful for the #11 Apple Blossom - Lilian Dress gift, in a spicy mustard yellow shade that will easily turn heads. It fits Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, with one spaghetti strap dangling down the left arm while the rest of the dress hugs the body tightly but not overly so. 

Next we are focusing on some new body art, which is our Imperia collarbone bats tatt gift. The more I read about bats, the more intrigued I am and the more I like them :) As for the gift, it includes 3 BOM layers - faded, fresh, and worn. This is the fresh I am wearing here, in hopes that it photographs the most clearly, but they look terrific in any of the opacities provided.

I paused for a moment before taking this photo, wondering if the word on the front of our Nectarine - Raglan Tee [SOUP] gift has a deeper meaning that I am not aware of. Since I never figured it out, I'm just going to say that it made me smile simply because I love comfort foods and it is still absolutely soup weather here :) This fun cropped tee comes in sizing for Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies. I think it looks really cute with the Delizio jeans from their marketplace fatpack gift, but also could see it with shorts in the warmer weather.

My final look of the night is our ELEVEN - Seyran Top [GIFT] in black, with both straps over the right shoulder for a very creative look. I accessorized with the MICHAN - Star Necklace GIFT which you can see a closer view of in the upper right inset, a brief gold chain with delicate stars to add a little sparkle. I am slow tonight because my gaming evening with friends ran a little later than anticipated, so I'll just say that I had a great time as always and am eager to visit my parents' for dinner tomorrow. My outing yesterday was bittersweet, as I visited a shop that is closing on Saturday and I am always saddened to see a small business go under for financial reasons when they have tried so hard to keep it afloat and make their customers happy. Happy FLF-o-Ween

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're visiting the FLF-o-Ween event, which is brought to us by Fifty Linden Fridays. That means that the event is full of $50L bargains of course, as well as group gifts at every display inside jack o'lanterns in various colors. The FLF group has a tiny $1L fee to join, truly a small price to pay for all of the generous gifts :) If you love earrings, there were several pairs among the gifts but my hair would have hidden them so I'm not wearing any tonight but will be whenever I do change my hairstyle again. The event is open until the 2nd of November, so we have all month to grab demos and take advantage of these amazing savings.

For my first look of the night, I am enjoying our sexy :Dernier: "Nathalia" Dress - Red gift. The wasp waist style is achieved by using the BOM alpha layer included, and the dress fits Erika, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. There is also a materials HUD with 5 levels of gloss, so you can adjust the look even further. This looks like the kind of dress that would make a great Halloween look if you add wings, a tail, horns, and maybe a pitchfork to hold, to be a tempting little devil.

The Casadel"Bethany" Gift is a playful outfit of 3 pieces with lots of great details. The strapless top, shorts, and skirt are each provided in sizes for eBody, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, and Senra mesh bodies. We also receive a Skirt & Tassel HUD with 13 colors and off option for the tassels and 4 metals, then the top's HUD has a similar set of choices for the ribbon in the back (13 colors, 4 metals, on/off). The skirt is sort of an overlay for the sides of the shorts, creating a really intriguing look that is unique to anything I have seen in SL :) 

I combined two gifts here for a flirtatious look that still says Halloween. The KLEIN"Dina"-Gift is a sheer beige lace top with bare back, a beauty in sizing for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, and Senra mesh bodies. Then I added the Gaia - flf gift denim shorts - spookie, high cut shorts in blackish denim with a spiderweb pattern and wisps of frayed fabric on the edges. In eBody and Legacy sizes, these also have a HUD with 6 metals for the button in the front. They're a terrific neutral color that can easily be a part of your favorite flirty outfit this time of year.

Next I made another combo, starting with the Alena Top, Black gift from [The Forge]. Its lacy bra and strappy harness are each provided in eBody, eBody Waifu, Legacy, Perky, and Lara X mesh body sizes, and can be worn together or separately. All those intricate straps just captivated me, and the bra is basically strapless without it so they really create a clever look. The shorts are our -Pixicat- Delta Shorts (Bats) gift, so cute in a plummy purple! There are sizes for Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, as well as a HUD that lets us pick from 30 colors apiece for the trim and sides. That gives us a lot of potential to customize these sporty shorts to match many different tops.

My final look of the evening is our CryptKeeper // Sam Jumpsuit // FLF WHITE gift. The two versions shown (v1 and v2, left and right respectively) are each included in Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizing. I love the low cut strapless style, and the splatters of pink are a playful touch for sure. 

It was a surprisingly good weekend, and my trip to the farmers market went better than I had expected :) I used a video of EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) to help me get through the car ride, and while I'm sure I looked goofy to anyone we passed by (tapping my face and head, talking to myself out loud) it was effective and I am going to try it again this week. I'd like to get my hair cut as soon as possible, and I'm also planning an outing to an area that's a little further than I have been going. Hopping to Shop at Lavendar

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we return to the SL22B Shop&Hop event, specifically the Lavendar region. We have about a week and a half left to hop around to all 24 regions (20 moderate, 4 adult) and browse the discounted sales offers, and of course grab all the free gifts that await :) I recommend the FabFree spreadsheet of gifts to ensure that you don't miss anything, and you can sort it by type or store name or region with the tabs at the bottom. So much hard work went into that, as you can tell, just like decorating the regions and organizing it all, let alone the wonderful designers who are taking part and offering their best. The people are what makes SL special, and have for 22 exciting years now.

First I slipped into the vibrant AlaFolie CHARLOTTE gift dress, with an intricately embroidered pattern of multicolored flowers blossoming on a sunny yellow backdrop. It fits Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Prima Busty, Prima Petite, and Senra Jamie mesh bodies. The blue trim on the neckline and spaghetti straps really brings out some of the flowers, don't you think?

Always eager for any excuse to feel pretty in pink, I changed into the lovely -Pixicat- Maret Dress Gift. The square neckline and flared sleeves give a romantic feeling, while the tiny floral pattern adds to that considerably :) This gift includes sizing for Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Flat X, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu mesh bodies.

Next we get to see the gorgeous B & R RESURRECTION - EIVOR Gift, a strapless mini dress whose neckline is notched with both sides curled down to draw the eye to the bust. I can't decide if the color is giving deep ocean or lush forest, but I am definitely a fan either way :)

RosenRot had me at hello halter neckline with their Leo Gift, with all those sassy cutouts and peekaboo openings sealing the deal. Naturally I'm loving the floral pattern too, helping this dress feel both sexy and sweet. For my final look of the night, I'm showing off my devilish side with our BACANAL - Alexa Devil Costume - c18ROSA gift. The main costume (bodysuit and tail) and boots are each provided in Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh body sizing, along with unrigged wings and horns that we can adjust if necessary. The details here are so captivating, like the delicate chains on the bodysuit that match the ones draped on the horns, and call to mind the silvery rings on the wing joints. I feel mystical and impish in this one ;)

Today was slightly cooler with no storms, so it was certainly an improvement over the rest of the week. I've got a few more things to do before I get to packing for my day at my parents' while the AC unit is installed and duct work is replaced, with a goal of being there around 6:30AM. Sound fun? LOL, I know, it's not my ideal way to start a day either, and there will be morning rush hour traffic to add to my anxiety. Woohoo. The Fifty Anniversary

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I was excited to see that The Fifty is celebrating their third anniversary :) You may also know this event for the weekly sales Fifty Linden Fridays, and they have a lovely new event space for us to visit. Their Fifty Linden Fridays group is just $1L to join, and with that tag you can claim dozens of terrific gifts by clicking the boxes at most of the displays. I had a lot of fun checking out the discounted offers and picking up some demos, and of course the generous gifts to help us commemorate three years of The Fifty. 

For my first look, I combined two different gifts that I think are a cute pairing. The Palette - Crys Top [Black] is a very pretty cropped blouse with square neckline and puffed sleeves that end in pert ruffles. It comes in sizes for Lara X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, Juicy Rolls, and Waifu mesh bodies. My shorts here are the [RED GIRL] Jayden Shorts Stripes gift, with versions 1 and 2 (left and right, respectively) each designed for Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn bodies. The thinnest stripes are the main difference, a reddish hue on v1 but a yellowish shade for v2. They are a flattering snug fit that caught my eye immediately.

The [RED GIRL] shorts came in handy again to share the -Pixicat- Astrid Cardigan gift. We receive the cardigan and singlet (cropped wisp of a top layered beneath) each in sizing for Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu, as well as a HUD with 23 colors for the singlet. The cardigan is open and has a fun hood, so I almost wanted to call it a hoodie :) It looks so cozy and warm!

This beauty is our RIOT / Katherine Dress & Blouse - Gift. The dress is what you're seeing here actually, with the included blouse being a shorter version that comes just to the natural waist and can be paired with your favorite bottoms. Each of these is provided in Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizing. The deep hunter green color is adorned with intriguing artwork that has a mystical flavor to it, very lovely indeed.

Next I shimmied into the KILLJOY Wallflower Dress and its provided BOM alpha layer to help cinch in the waist for a stunning look. This bare shouldered beauty comes in Lara X, Flat, Petite X, Legacy, V-Tech, Reborn, Waifu, and Reborn V-Tech mesh body sizing. I really enjoy the tiny polka dot pattern too, a fun little touch for sure.

My final look this evening is our cheezu. choa set : black gift, a sweet pairing of halter top and miniskirt. There are Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, and Reborn mesh body sizes for each piece, helping it fit many popular bodies. The top has a very pretty bow at the cleavage, and the skirt is slit on each thigh for an extra flash of skin.

FLF-O-Ween Part Two

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we have more FLF-O-Ween gifts to enjoy, all found at their wonderful event in various colored carved pumpkins. They are free if you join their FLF group for just $1L, which if you ask me is a fantastic bargain for all of these generous goodies. There are new releases for $50L each at over 100 booths, as well as all of these group gifts, so I highly suggest visiting and getting your gifts and demos then returning before the doors close on November 1st :) 

My first look this evening is the Vague. Tamera Dress FLF gift. It is a delightfully spooky tube dress with lots of bats shadowed on a dark background, with a particularly low neckline. We receive sizing for Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu mesh bodies. 

I kept the Vague dress on but added a very special accessory, the Hanna Shrug, Black gift from [The Forge]. It is a lovely covering for our shoulders, arms, and part of our hands, as you can see it loops around the thumb but leaves our fingers usefully free. There are eBody, Lara X, and Legacy mesh body sizes provided for this gift, all with 3 silver rings holding things in place in the front. We can wear this over top of so many different styles of tops and dresses, either strapless or spaghetti straps and anything BOM layered would be fun too.

I have more bats to share, thanks to our -Pixicat- Maret Dress gift. This swingy style dress has flared sleeves and a deep square neckline, perfect for showing off your favorite seasonal necklace perhaps? I'm loving the intense plum shade, dark but still showing off the black bats beautifully. This treat will fit Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Flat X, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu bodies.

Next I changed into the lovely Apple Blossom // Emily II No.17 gift dress, in a fun checkerboard pattern of green and palest blue. There are sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies included, and as you can see the left side of the skirt is slit all the way up to the waist. This means if you want to keep certain private parts, umm, more private LOL, please add some pasties or a C-string of some sort :) My avi really needed a beverage at this point, so I just had to taste what's in our EAMONI. Trick or Treat Tumbler. It is definitely topped with whipped cream and colored sprinkles, but the rest is up to our imaginations, so it could be a smoothie or iced coffee, or rich milkshake or even a blended treat like a blizzard. I think our striped straw might need to be wider if it was something too thick though, so I've decided that mine is a decaf iced chai latte.

For my final look of the evening, I'm showing off my new manicure :) This thoughtful gift is the Veechi - Acid Drop Gels mesh nails, sharp stilettos that fit several male and female bodies: Belleza, Gen X, eBody Reborn, Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Belleza Jake, Kario, Legacy Male, Signature Davis, Geralt, Gianni, and Slink male. Just hide the nails built into your hands with the body's HUD, then add the corresponding mesh attachment in the gift. Then you can add the HUD to select from 5 colors, all dripping with a soft shimmer. There is also a HUD included to hide/show individual nails. I just saw a RL tutorial on how to do this type of design recently, so it made me chuckle to see it so much easier here in SL.

The Fifty Anniversary

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm happy to invite you to The Fifty event, whose current round is their 2nd anniversary celebration. This means nearly every designer has a generous gift for all members of the FLF (Fifty Linden Fridays) group, which is free to join so these treats won't cost you a single red cent. There are so many discounted offers here, from fashion for guys and gals to accessories (jewelry, hair, skin, etc.) to home decor so we can redecorate our living space if we wish. Naturally I am focused on female fashions in this post, so please allow me to tempt you with a sampling of the many gifts :)

My first look is our ELEVEN - Luna Romper gift, which is a flirty style in a beautiful shade of lavender. It is provided in Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes, hugging every curve. It's held in place by the most delicate, slender straps in the back, which definitely caught my eye. 

AURICA brings some sunshine into our day with their Milli Outfit YELLOW gift! The vibrant hue immediately made me smile, and I love having the mini tank dress and open cardigan sweater each in sizes for eBody Reborn, Legacy, Perky, and Maitreya bodies. This way we have the choice to wear the dress alone or with the sweet jacket, although I'm thinking we wear both to our destination then slip off the jacket as one would do in RL with outerwear. 

Next I slipped into the lovely LEROY - Victoria Dress - Pattern 1 gift, feeling slightly Valentines themed but mostly just romantic :) There are Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn sizes of this cutie, all with that sparkly red sash beneath the midriff opening. It matches the elongated red hearts so nicely, and red always pops on a white backdrop. 

There are several shirts that just begged to be shared, so I randomly picked out two for this photo :) The beauty on the left is our -Pixicat- Dara Top - DragonBlack gift, whose unpacker HUD lets us pick from Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Lara X Flat, Lara X Petite, Reborn, Juicy, or Waifu mesh body sizing. Just unpack the one you need and hang onto the HUD to access other sizes in the future if you wish. I'm also a huge fan of our No. 19 Apocalyptic // Chela Top gift on the right, a cropped short sleeve shirt in navy blue with cute bows on the sides and an image on the front that looks like a glass bubble holding an ecosystem inside. Almost like a terrarium, but encompassing more? It gave me a peaceful almost mystical feeling when viewing it :) This gift consists of sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. 

My final look of the evening is the charming Havoc. Vanilla Dress. Cranberry gift, from a store I am quite familiar with and grateful as always for their generosity. This uniquely crafted dress has one bare arm/shoulder and one long sleeve, with more intriguing asymmetry happening in the skirt that dips from one hip to the other ankle. We receive sizing for Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies in this lovely color. I must admit, the combo of vanilla from the dress name and cranberry from the hue sounds like a delicious hot tea flavor!

It was a quiet day, and do we remember when I mentioned a few weeks ago that I'd start taking an extra day off from blogging each week for my mental health, then didn't do so? 😕 Well because of a podiatrist appointment tomorrow that has me freaking out (just for the ride itself), I am taking tomorrow evening off from blogging. I'll be heavily medicated to handle the car trip, and will probably need some extra sleep after, so no time to prep the photos and notes for a blog post anyway. Just think, it'll be almost March when I return :) I know I will be safe in the long run, it's just a bit of a struggle these days to stay calm when thinking about going anywhere in a car. This doctor mentioned that his mom also suffers from agoraphobia so he is quite sympathetic, and that is reassuring to me. Halloween Shop & Hop

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm excited to share some gifts from the Halloween Shop & Hop event :) There are 16 regions with 20 designers apiece, so that's 320 generous stores with discounted offers and a gift for visitors. No group tag is needed, just stop on by and make sure you have on your walking shoes because that's a lot of ground to cover. I did it in 3 different chunks of time, different days, and the layout is similar to the SL20B version and we can start anywhere and move from region to region around in a big loop. I put all the gifts from each in a separate folder, so tonight's treats come from Chickory. This way I can link you to one area instead of all 16 regions at once, and for more specifics I suggest the FabFree document with all stores, direct links, and info about their gifts. They rock for doing that, and they are updating if necessary so many thanks to them for the huge endeavor. Naturally I'm grateful to all 320 designers too, keeping SL fashionable and in most cases here, seasonally appropriate :)

My first look of the evening is our -Pixicat- Ulrica Dress gift. The black bats on the dark purple dress are a fun nod to Halloween, while the short sleeved blouse layered beneath gives a more year-round feeling. There are sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Flat, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies, each of which has a handy HUD for the top with a whopping 80 texture choices and the option to hide the shirt altogether. There are solid colors, stripes, florals, and all sorts of fun patterns among the many choices, so you'll find something for just about any mood or tastes.

This sizzling look is from HORL, their Spider Swimsuit gift. We have multilegged friends and their webs in white on the black fabric, a revealing style with a gold chain belt to match the straps. It fits Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. 

Another gift not to be missed is the ::BQ:Theodora Mini Dress:: from BlondeQueen. There are 3 color varieties each in sizing for Khara, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. I'm wearing the black/orange skulls on the left, black/purple skulls on the right, and the one not shown is black/gray skulls :) All have a high collar and puffed sleeves that are just right for this time of year, and we could easily find a pair of tights to layer beneath (I'm sure I saw some at Shop & Hop!) if we wanted to warm up our legs some.

I also adore the Blueberry - Gift - Tank Tops set, which will go very nicely with a wide range of pants or skirts already in our inventories. (Yes these are Delizio jeans, the blue pair from my favorite marketplace gift!) They fit Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, eBody Reborn, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite bodies. There's also a HUD included, with 4 texture choices - solid black, solid white, black with "Talk spooky to me" surrounding a ghost, and white with "Let's go Ghouls" around a trio of similar ghosties. Because let's face it, even in the afterlife we need #SquadGoals!

For my final look tonight, I am enjoying the Yasum*Sindy-Catsuit*Halloween gift. It has such a flattering fit, and covers from sweetheart neckline all the way down to built in stiletto heels. We receive sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya and Petite mesh bodies, with a HUD offering 4 metals for the tips of the heels. I love the orange spiderwebs, and the images on the left front hip and right back hip for that strong Halloween flavor! There's even a broom on the back left thigh, just in case you feel the urge to do some sweeping or flying ;) 

How was everyone's weekend? Mine started quietly, then I tried to go out today and it was pretty rough. I am still working through the emotions that got stirred up, trying to sort through and see if anything can help me learn and move on. Then my mini fridge/freezer in here started leaking, so I had to do a sudden defrost which was easy since I don't use the freezer part. When this eventually needs replacing, I'll probably get just a fridge for simplicity sake. As for the upcoming week, I have plans to mix things up often and share other than just Shop & Hop gifts, not that I don't love them of course :) But I think variety is enjoyable too, and want all of you to stay interested ♥. The Fifty Anniversary

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are celebrating the 1st anniversary of The Fifty, an event brought to us by the same folks as Fifty Linden Fridays. If you join the Fifty Linden Fridays (FLF) group for free, you can claim dozens of generous gifts by clicking the purple envelope in front of each display. There is a very nice variety, and unpacking them all when I got home felt like revisiting Christmas :) This round just opened and will last until the 20th of March, so we can grab demos and come back whenever we wish for some retail therapy. I enjoy supporting the designers who work so hard and offer us these terrific gifts, and let's not forget top quality items for just 50L each week!

My first look of the evening is the Safira. Rylie Bodysuit Mint gift, a flirty little number with crossed halter straps and ruffles at the high cut hips. There are sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies included, as well as a HUD with both textures seen above (floral and solid). The fabric is on the sheer side, and that loose bow in the back is such a pretty detail. 

For my next look, I slipped into the -Pixicat- gift which is their Misha Top (Royal). The sleeves are gently slid off the shoulders, and the fleur de lis print is a golden delight :) We receive Freya, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh body sizes. I paired it with the Delizio jeans in blue, one of several colors they offer for free on the marketplace in system/BOM layers and appliers for Maitreya and Omega.

The Delizio jeans were also a cute choice to wear with the (NO) Skull Reveal - Crop Top which is our gift from Nylon Outfitters. It includes sizing for eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies. The image on the front is a wonderfully drawn sketch of a girl's face divided in the middle to open up and show off the skull inside.

I love having items I can hold or hug in SL, so I'm having lots of fun showing off two huggable gifts here :) On the left I'm snuggling with the Fake Society x Plush Buddy Boba / Cream, which has furniture and hold versions so you can decorate your home and carry this one around with you. The sweetie on the right is our [Cosmic Dust] - Mint Bear gift, which has male and female hold versions along with a decor one to rez out in your home. The animation for the left hand melted my heart, as it made me tickle and scritch the bear's head ♥. 

For my final look of the night, I chose the lovely Apple Blossom Asheleey - The Fifty Gift. This mini dress has a t-shirt style top decorated with a striped band across the chest, and the hemline is slightly raised on the sides thanks to the gathering that is tied with pale pink strings that hang down each thigh. Claim this gift and you'll get Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite sizes to choose from. It is such a cozy style, and the colors have me ready for spring.

I'm afraid I may be the bearer of bad news if you haven't heard yet, but Ivey Deschanel has sadly passed away. She was the owner/designer of Sn@tch, whose work appeared here quite often as I was very much a fan of her style, and those fishing sets we could get for free were always just amaaazing. She had lost her partner in December, and had her own health battles over the past few years, so a small part of me wonders if she simply felt she was ready to join her partner in whatever the afterlife holds. This is the second painful loss this year of SL women I greatly admired, so my already bruised heart is hurting for sure. I send my love and sympathy to all of her friends for such an immense loss.

My weekend was otherwise fine, just a touch of windburn from my farmers market outing since I had to wait in line for a while for the special lunch offering. I picked up some new products from two of the chefs there, all of which are frozen and a couple are thawing in my fridge for the next few meals :) I hope you're all having a pleasant day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!
