Hiya everyone! Tonight's post features a few more outstanding bargains from The Wash Cart Sale, where everything is $10L or less courtesy of about 80 high quality designers. Then there are a couple of hunt prizes from the Silk Road VII Hunt, whose theme this round is Xanadu. They even posted the poem on the hunt blog for reference and enjoyment, along with previews of some of the many gifts to be discovered.
My first Wash Cart Sale looks are both from Savoha Creations, two of several selections you can find on their cart. On the left is the peachy flower outfit, whose top and skinny jeans are each in 5 sizes, the jeans being fitmesh. On the right you can see the Rainbow overalls/jumpsuit, more splashes of color in a single mesh piece, standard sizing provided. You can visit their store right behind their cart, they are part of The Wash's home team :)
Another must-see cart is Emerald Couture's array of summery selections, including the Fireworks Bikini on the left and their Victoria Swimsuit on the right. Each come in system layers as shown, plus an applier HUD for Slink, Belleza, Maitreya, and Omega. Variety and versatility, who can resist? Time for a trip down the Silk Road...this colorful dress is our hunt prize from TMD called Mandarin Splendor, and you can find it hidden (with a male prize too) in a pyramid. This outfit consists of a system layer top with Omega applier, and mesh skirt in standard sizes. I am particularly fond of the peacock feather pattern on that top!
For a more traditional look, find the prize at Miss Darcy to claim this gorgeous La Route de la Soie kimono, along with a mens' version. This comes in standard mesh sizes, and the belt and bow are built in.
Tonight I am sporting these terrific nails from Dark Knight Decor, their Slink Nails in Geometric. They include 4 striking designs in some very pretty color combinations, and are just one of their offerings at the Wash Cart Sale this round. That's right, just $10L will get you these beauties for your own tips and toes. They remind me of stained glass or a Tiffany lamp. It has been a very busy day, but a special one as I got to spend some time with my amazing BFF of 25 years or so. She makes my life better just being in it, and we celebrated her birthday a few days early. I hope you are all enjoying your weekend too, magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Hiya everyone! I have a few more prizes from the Fun in the Sun Hunt to share with you, and the more time I spent hunting around those sims full of adorable KittyCatS the more I want one :) They are not free however, like our hunt prizes, which I am quite eager to show you. First I will simply repeat my advice from yesterday, which is to read the blog for the best way to hunt. The HUD at the landing zones of all the sims is a big help so you know which sim each prize is on.
Before showing off some bathing suits again, I have a very pretty dress to show you that is found in Sunglasses #24. This gift from DI is a fatpack of colors, from left to right I am wearing Passion, Mercury, and Cobalt but you will also find Bronze, Emerald, Hot Pink, Onyx, Passion (red), Snow, and Violet in each standard mesh size. I love the cutout shoulders, and those sexy rivets and straps that are part of the intricate texture.
Here we have both gifts found in Sunglasses #18 and the necklace from Beach ball #31. The necklace is from Grumble and is simply called Pearls with Butterfly. As for the other gifts, they are both by [RUBY] as are many of what I am featuring tonight...the bikini is called Hot in the Sun and comes in red, purple, and teal with system layers plus a cute bow for the back, and appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, Slink and TMP. The comfy Mesh Multi-Pose Beach Towels come in teal (shown) and red, and contain animations for female, male, couples, male-male and girl-girl. Variety is the spice of Second Life!
I tried on the teal color of the above bikini (oh, did I mention it's a thong?) to show you this fun [Mesh] Sandy Beach Towel Set from Dekute Dekore, which you will find in Ice Cream #20. There are male and female animations built in, and it's only 1 LI so if prim count matters to you too, this is an even more valuable find. I like the "read" pose that I'm showing, as it temp-rezzes out a book for you to enjoy.
Into the pool for this photo, we have the red thong from the bikini of the previous photos along with the Lacey Summer Top by [RUBY] found in Ice Cream #26. The inner tube is another treat from [RUBY] called Beach Floating Ring, and it comes in blue (shown, red, or teal. It is the other prize found in Ice Cream #26. The inner tubes have 2 female poses and 2 male poses to suit everyone.
Here we have a cute outfit from Sweet E's, their red shirt and blue jean capri found in Beach ball #28. This includes the system layers shown, plus appliers for Omega, TMP and Eve. The jewelry is from ~TMD~ and found inside Sunglasses #30, includes the necklace, earrings, ring and even the sunglasses (so yes, you find sunglasses inside a sunglasses hunt object!). Now that cute bag on my shoulder, with built-in pose, is from je suis...and is called brillante MESH bag, and has such bright cheery colors. This can be found in Ice Cream #23.
Nail note of the night: since I wanted a wide variety of colors, I went with a hunt gift I'd previously blogged here from La Boheme. This is their Body Art Hunt prize so you only have a week left to grab it if you haven't already, I highly recommend it :) I went with the silver instead of the gold I'd shown before, no special reason.
The weekend is finally here, yay! For me that mostly means farmers' markets and relaxing, but whatever it means to you I hope all of you enjoy yourselves. Magical magpie hugs to each of you!!

Hiya everyone! As I prepared to start the Medieval Fantasy Hunt, I pondered how my style seems to be all over the map, LOL! It is eclectic and rather fluid, as I don't tend to have a very specific theme to my posts or the things I wear. That's got to be the magpie in me, attracted to a wide variety and then flitting from treasure to treasure. I thought about coloring in school, and how I didn't always stay in the lines because sometimes I had more to 'say' than the constricting lines had room for! With that weird tidbit in mind, hehe, what I have to share tonight is actually from the The ScratchN SpriNg HuNt 2015 which is geared towards KittyCatS enthusiasts primarily. That doesn't mean if you're catless (like myself), that you wouldn't find anything you'd enjoy...if you collected gifts from the KittyCatS advent calendar, you know that there is a huge variety among the designers who support them, for humans and cats. Same with this hunt, which I'd heard about from being part of Somnia's group. Sanura, the wonderful designer of Somnia, created a set of nails for the hunt, yes Slink/Omega/Belleza huds for us, not the kitties :) I decided to give the hunt a whirl last night, and wound up TPing back and forth between the same few attached sims several times and getting terribly mixed up, yet having fun and finding lots of goodies as well. Well enough talk, how about some pictures? :)
This dress from Winterwood Designs makes me long for spring even more, and I paired it with the fun lei, head dress, and armlets from ~TMD~. There are anklets too but I was wearing my slink high feet and they didn't line up right at all (around/through my arches hehe) but will edit them when I get a chance. I can't decide if I look like I'm on my way to a luau or a Woodstock type event, but either way I'm in!
This dress is short, sassy, sexy, and stunning! [RUBY] no longer has an inworld store for her fashions, but I remember it fondly. There is a mens prize along with household goodies in this flower, so it's a generous gift for sure.
I had to take more than one photo of this mesh shirt from Tulip, because it's animated! That adorable cat changes among several different facial expressions and eye colors. I paired it with The Dark Fae's gift of Kitty Jeans, which included a mens style as well. The belt is attached and there are kitties on the back as well, I'll leave that for you to discover though :)
For something a bit more dressy, this strapless number is our prize from Sweet E's, and there is a men's casual outfit included as well.
Now I have to confess, I've mentioned before that I don't have slink hands, just their nails for the default avatar hands...I was being frugal, I admit, and it's kinda biting me in the butt right now. They haven't updated the nails yet to a new version, as the hands and feet have been, so the HUD from Somnia wouldn't work on my hands, just my toes. Entirely my fault for not buying the hands (yet?). Therefore, to give you a glimpse at Somnia's gorgeous nails in action, I had to take a foot selfie, a trend I hope never ever catches on!
Well SL feet are much better than first life feet, hehe. So these beautiful bows are in 5 different colors, and HUDs for Belleza and Slink and Omega.
