Hiya everyone! Today I was thinking about practicing in the kitchen for a Valentine dinner next week, with the help of The Loving Kind Hunt 2. This free gridwide hunt has been a source of some wonderful outfits to choose from, and there is decor hiding in several of the yellow (unisex) hearts. Well I headed to the kitchen of my skybox and began the decision making process...
I admit I stood here a bit longer than intended in this outfit, mostly pondering what to make but also thinking wow, this is a sexy look! The dress is our prize from Ellenico, their Micro Mini Tube Dress, in 3 mesh sizes (XXS, XS/S/M, and L) and it also comes with a system layer rose collar tattoo, not shown. The shoes, which really pick up the softer shade of red in the design of the dress, are our gift from Barbed Wire Kisses called Branna Shoes GLK. These lovely heels come in sizes for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink feet, and I can easily envision them livening up a more neutral colored outfit as well like black or white.
Here you can see the exact moment I realized I forgot a few ingredients, don't you hate that? I had just slipped into a beautiful apron which is the hunt prize from Black Rose Designs. This pretty Heart Apron comes in standard mesh sizes plus versions for Curvy, Fine, eBODY, Hourglass, Physique, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, and TMP. The comfy looking flats are the prize from Lindy, called Leila Gingham Red and there are versions included for classic, Maitreya, and Slink Flat feet. The cheerful gingham print makes these especially nice for running around cooking, as long as I am not too sloppy ;) My jeans are a wardrobe staple of mine, the Marketplace gift from Delizio that includes several colors (these are the black) in system, Maitreya, and Omega appliers too. I have been so grateful for these versatile goodies more times than I could possibly count, even before having a mesh body.
I did mention decor, well here I am trying to decide where I will wind up displaying a couple of romantic gifts next week. The tray on the left with the red candles is from North Moon and is named For My Love Decor. There are chocolates and a card along with the dozen or so candles, really lovely :) On the right, my mouth waters just glancing at this prize from QUE RICO called Petit Fours on Silver Heart Tray. I'm pretty sure that back left one is Tiramisu, and if so then it is the ultimate sacrifice for me to share that one with Xan, a true testament to love ♥. You can also see a peek of the apron from behind, those beautiful bows helping to hold it in place.
One last look (please excuse the bad pun) of the night is one that can look back at you, my gorgeous eyes from Inkheart! Their prize for this hunt is their Loving Eyes in Freedom (top) and Sincerity (bottom) which are each included in 4 sizes (medium shown) in system layers, mesh, and an applier for Genesis and Omega. They are very similar colors, Sincerity looks to be a paler shade of green though, and did you notice the heart-shaped pupils? Such a terrific touch! I find it romantic because someone would have to be very close and gaze deeply into your eyes to pick up on that special secret.

Hiya everyone! I've got more Advanced or Casual Hunt prizes to share, some of which have a strong summery feel so the timing is terrific! We've had some hot days in my neck of the woods, making me appreciate the laid back fashions of the season in SL even more.
First up, we have this adorable tank top and shorts from Kitty Shape Wears, who are #14 in the hunt and this is their Casual path prize. They are separate mesh pieces, each in standard sizes, and with the flip flops pattern on the top, I was so grateful to Rupsy Roo (#13) for an assortment of flip flops to wear! Their advanced path prize contains not only the Sunny color shown, but also aqua, black, blue, coral, green, pink, purple, and red! Each also comes in a version for mesh feet or standard feet, but I had to adjust the mesh feet version slightly for my slink flats. It was mostly a height adjustment, even though I wore the enclosed shoe base for mesh feet. It only took a few seconds and was well worth it though :)
Next we have the advanced path prize from Kitty Shape Wears, this playful Watermelon Sundress, which comes in standard mesh sizes and made me smile with its juicy looking print. I paired it with the green flip flops from the Rupsy Roo advanced prize I referenced above.
You'll need to click this picture to see it better, but I decided to relax in my new bathing suit, courtesy of Country Couture (#15) and their casual path prize. In order to kick back though, I really needed one of the 7 poses in this daybed by QUE RICO Design, who are #22 in the hunt and this is their advanced prize. The bathing suit is mesh and comes in standard sizes, with a pretty plaid texture in soothing colors.
Next I decided to hop in my pool, which was a great opportunity to show you one of the prizes from X-clusives Animations, who are #16 in the hunt. The inner tube is their casual path prize, and has 9 female poses and 7 male poses to choose from. This gave me a chance to show off another bathing suit, this one being from Cheeky Parrot Boutique named Slinky. They are #17 in the hunt path, this is their casual path giftie, and it comes with an Omega applier as well as the system layers shown. I also decided you deserved a gratuitous bum picture view of the back to see the amount of coverage you get back there...I'd say it's alluring without being over the top, everything hanging out ;) Also you probably noticed that I changed my hair, store #19 in the hunt is Alli & Ali and I'm rocking their Joana hair (casual prize) in #7 of the 11 color choices included. It looks great for the pool, easy curls and a convenient cute length.
Finally, I decided to dry off and change hair again, this time to a pretty blonde 'do from the A&A advanced prize named Joanina. This one comes in 11 colors also, with the added bonuses of a color streak (not shown) and color changing barettes. On the left I'm enjoying the advanced prize from Cake Fox #20, their Veranda Bench. As for my outfit, this is just a small portion of the advanced path prize from Cheeky Parrot Boutique. They generously included a top and pants for a jumpsuit look as I'm wearing, or a long formal skirt (not shown), plus shorts and a mini skirt prim if you prefer. Versatility is fun! Whew, this was a really big post with LOTS of treasures to share! I do have a nail note for the night: Hello Dave put out a new free gift for everyone, no group needed, in their main store that you can actually see in the first two photos...that set of bottles on the wall? I've got a farmers market to go to and a Fathers Day dinner at a vegan Chinese buffet (none of us are vegan or vegetarian, their taste and quality are just exceptional!) tomorrow then just relaxing on Sunday.
