Hiya everyone! It's a glorious day, and I am so excited to be able to show you some amazing bargains from The Wash "Spring Freshness" Cart Sale which opened today (March 16th) and lasts until the 30th so two full weeks of savings :) Most items are $10L, each designer can choose to offer a special $50L items as well. Meanwhile I am starting to blog the Chicken Egg Hunt by Fi's Creations, whose gridwides are always a joy since they are so well organized and mostly have the same stores participating each month. Since everything is spring themed, it's a perfect fit!
Kicking things off, we have a set from Precious Designs found at the Cart Sale, their Don't Stop Beating Jumper and matching Don't Stop Beating SH shoes for Slink High, $10L each. As with most of Precious Designs' offerings, these come with color HUDs so you can have some variety by choosing among 6 color options for each of these. The buttons and the stars on the jumper are really fun details, and I gave you a closer side view of the strappy shoes. Their mainstore link is here, cart sale location in the credits.
I am a huge fan of The Little Bat, and glad to have the opportunity to show you one of their Cart Sale offerings here. This is their Spring Bat Dress w/ HUD, just $10L, and you can choose from 8 colors via that handy HUD. I'm not sure I even realized I had a hidden inner Goth until this store brought it out in me, and has been doing so for ages :) Main store link here, cart sale direct location in credits.
And now it's time for hunt treats, this being prize #01 from the organizer, Fi's Creations. Their mini dress has some terrific soft colors and a delicate gathered style that looks so comfy. Find their hidden egg and you'll get this in standard mesh sizes.
Emerald Couture is stop #03 in the hunt path, and their fully loaded gift is called EC Chickadee Yellow Outfit. It includes the dress in standard sizes with a cute chickie pattern on the skirt, earrings and necklace, and the shoes for Slink high have peeps on them!! That is almost too cute for words, yet they aren't over the top since I didn't even notice them at first.
Finally we have a closer look at the nails I have been sporting tonight, one of the lovely offerings from Dark Knight Decor. Their DKD - Spring Butterflies Slink Nails can be found for just $10L at the Cart Sale, and there are 6 designs on the HUD. I like that there are 3 softer colors (upper hand) and 3 bolder styles, so you can show off some pretty butterflies your own way. It has been like a dozen Christmases rolled into one unpacking the blogger boxes for the cart sale, you definitely don't want to miss this round! I am still in my winter wonderland, about 2 feet of snow, so I'm considering relaxing on an SL beach later to get in a warmer mindset :) First though I of course have some hunt goodies to show you, from the Hunt For Your Inner Slut, their round 13 whose theme is Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy. There are plenty of male prizes in this hunt too, it's definitely not just for the ladies. Let's see what I have to show you tonight...
First up, I am wearing the Don't Panic Costume from #029 Fabulash. Xan let me know (thanks again as always, Xan!!) that this is a Trillian costume from aboard a ship, and was played by Zooey Deschanel. It includes the mesh shirt and shorts each in standard sizes plus several mesh body versions, the glasses I'm wearing, socks (system layer and Omega HUD), and boots for standard avatar feet. The male prize by the way is a towel for a very *ahem* specific part of his body. 'Nuff said? My friend in the right panel is prize #024 from Deceitful Innocence, their Marvin the Paranoid Robot who chatters in local chat when clicked. He's not the most cheery companion, but I've had worse ;) Plus he's so cute!
Fi's Creations is #038 in our hunt path, and their prize is the delightful Hitchhiker's Pyj which comes in standard sizes and works best with default avatar feet. I love footie pajamas, and hearts, so big thumbs up from me. And how cute are those patches on the butt? I need that heart eyes emoji in here!
#049 in the hunt is American Hunni, and they have provided a very generous complete outfit for our prize. This is Galaxy Hiker, and includes the outfit (single mesh piece for top and pants) in standard fitmesh sizes plus Belleza, Maitreya, and slink versions. Also included you will find the pearl clutch shown, the matching Slink high peep toes, and even an Omega HUD with 5 nail choices! I am wearing the one that reminded me most of the pattern on the pants, but the options are all so pretty that I expect to get a great deal of use from the nail HUD with other outfits as well.
My last look of the night is a sexy little number, prize #008 by OMG! Inc. It's called Slither Snakeskin Dress and comes with a HUD featuring 8 texture choices, 3 of which are shown above. There are plenty of colors to suit any mood, and while I usually gravitate towards purple I am thinking that gold looks really sharp too :) There was a great silvery shade as well...who am I kidding, they're all wonderful options.
No nail note of the night, as you already know what I used in photo #3 since it was part of the prize, and the other pics I am sporting the Slink default HUD again :) It makes my life so much easier some days.

Hiya everyone! I am excited that a new free gridwide hunt, the Black or White 2 Hunt, is underway. You get to double your fun as each store has hidden 2 prizes, the easier White path and the more mysterious Black path. My belief with these hunts is that if you follow the hints provided and look around carefully, you can conquer them all :) Also I feel that teamwork helps, for which I am eternally grateful to Xan for being a terrific partner in every sense of the word. You can see prize previews on the blog, and I get to spend a few days showing you one of my favorite ways to wear each of the generous prizes I've found.
First we have this gorgeous gown from Fi's Creations, the amazing organizer of the hunt by the way. This is their Black path prize, a full length slender strapless gown with a dark frill at the hem. The polka dots are intriguing because I usually find them more associated with casual wear, this just proves they can be elegant as well.
The playful polka dots make another appearance on the White path prize from Fi's Creations, this time hanging out on a peplum skirt beneath a darling bow. While this dress is also strapless, the shorter length gives it a different feel, not exactly casual but not ultra formal either. Like their other gift, this comes in standard mesh sizes for a nice fit.
Head on over to the second store in the hunt path, Lindy's Designs, and you can find this great dress for the White path and shoes for the Black path! They look great together, but could also be paired with other things if you prefer. The pattern on the dress is mesmerizing, isn't it?
Store #03 in the hunt path(s) is Euphoria Couture, and they have this fun pants set for their Black path prize. Its name is Coeur d'Alene, and it includes the crop jacket and high waist pants in 5 sizes each, along with the Slink flat shoes (so cute in the matching print!) and a pair of earrings that I could have sworn I added....*scratches head*...sorry about that, they are in the box though and I'm sure they match the outfit as nicely as the shoes.
My final look of the night is the White path prize from #03 Euphoria Couture, their exquisite Billings gown with matching necklace and shoes. I can't even begin to express how much I love this delicate butterfly design on the back, so glamorous! The necklace is a stunner too, with that same soft dove grey tint as the gown. It's pretty mind-boggling to realize that this is a FREE hunt gift.
Nail note of the night: these soft shades of white on my nails are all from a hunt prize as well, B Barbie Style who are #10 in the hunt have provided a set of 4 different designs on HUDs for Slink and Omega. This is their White path prize, you'll just have to stay tuned for the Black path prize :)
My day started out well but went downhill once I got home, I am not feeling my best so this post is rather later than usual. I do apologize for that, some days the spirit is willing...you get the idea ;) I would have missed it if I just said okay never mind, no blog tonight. I stumbled upon a sign in a store for the Midwinter Fair and decided to visit on a whim, and so glad I did because I found some lovely items including some free gifts to share :) I'm afraid I am doing it again, showing you things that are only available for a limited amount of remaining time, and I apologize for that. The Midwinter Fair is wrapping up tomorrow, the 31st, so if you haven't been yet I urge you to hurry. There are new releases, sales, gachas, and gifts can be found scattered among all those areas.
I found lots of beautiful jewelry in the gifts I picked up, the first one I'm showing is this Princess Necklace from *MIRUS*. The colors are stunning, and there is a lot going on with this detailed style with the bold horns and studs balanced by the delicate chains and cross.
If you need a pretty pair of winter earrings, look no further than the Hopscotch stall where you will find this lovely gift :) They are big enough to show details like glimmers of icy blue among the white.
I certainly expected the midwinter theme to include plenty of snowflakes, and was not disappointed with the creative ways they have been interpreted to jewelry. This is the gift from Glamorous Sin, a pale gold necklace artfully crafted with multiple sizes of snowflakes and gorgeous marquis cut gems that look to be amethysts.
For a different take on a snowflake necklace, please visit the OXIDE stand for this generous free gift. A single snowflake in a deeper shade of gold, with adornment in the center for a bit of sparkle.
If you are wondering about what I was wearing while showing these off, here is a better look at the full ensemble, a $1L hunt prize from Fi's Creations. The hunt is the amusingly named Same Ol' Sh*t Different Year, and runs until the 16th so you have plenty of time to explore their blog and pick up the prizes you like. Fi's is #3 in the hunt, and includes the top/skirt as one mesh piece in several sizes along with the coordinated legwarmers in system layers. They are designed to stop above mesh feet it seems, no interference with my Slinks, and the outfit looks great without them too.

Hiya everyone! Tonight I am sharing a sample of the prizes from the Elven Forest Hunt, a free gridwide hunt with 30 stops. You can peek at their blog for previews of all the prizes and the landmarks, meanwhile please enjoy these glimpses at some of my favorites.
I am starting off with the prize from Fi's Creations, the organizers of this hunt, and what a beautiful gift this is. Their Elven Dress comes in standard mesh sizes and includes an additional flexi skirt (shown on the right) and those fantastic wings. When I first added them, they defaulted to my right hand which was not a good look, LOL, so I attached them to my spine and tinkered a bit to get them where they should be. The colors in this ensemble are so enchanting, I love it!
Another breathtaking outfit can be found at Euphoria Couture, who are #02 in the hunt. This is Talila in green, and includes the beautiful caped gown, matching flower wreath, and sandals for Slink flat feet.
This dress made me think of Christmas, with that shape and those lovely colors, so I accessorized it to bring that out even more. The Noeleen Dress from Euphoria Couture (#09) is a very pretty mesh strapless one-piece (that gold overlay is attached) coming in several sizes for your convenience. I added the magical necklace from #04 Redrose Jewellry, with the sweet fairy and her butterfly friends who are gently held in place by heart shaped links.
Next we have a terrific outfit from Mishmash Fusion, who are #12 in the hunt path. This is their Aurora the Forest, and consists of the top, sleeves, and skirt each in several mesh sizes. There is also a unisex circlet hiding under my bangs, hehe, and anklets for Slink high feet included. Did you notice the exquisite bench behind me? That is our gift from #06 Sickly SWEET, their Forest Tree Bench, and if you look closely you will notice the special touches like flowers, butterflies, and that adorable rabbit to the immediate right of my skirt. There are several individual poses built in when you right click and sit, but I decided to stand next to it to show the outfit better for now.
Get Frocked is #19 in the hunt, and is offering a very intriguing gift for us. This elegant gown has what looks like an anime archer on the front, very subtle and lovely. The gown comes in several mesh sizes.
Nail note of the night: I went with a Marketplace gift I have used before, by Livia, which is also available for free in their store. Wearable demos are a very good thing :)
Today was fairly exhausting but a very enjoyable day, and tomorrow's blog should be earlier because it will include Advent gifts again. I am going to try to maintain a balance between hunts, Advent, and the upcoming Cart Sale at The Wash :) So much to blog, not enough time! Hiya everyone! It is a chilly evening here in my neck of the woods, so the Warm Socks Hunt 2 and Gacha Event is perfect timing and I'm excited to show you a few of the prizes I've located so far. This is a Fi's Creations event, I've mentioned before how much I appreciate their monthly free gridwide hunts for being so well organized and filled with amazing gifts from such generous designers. This time around we have 29 participants, and you can see pictures of the prizes and gachas on their blog so you know what treats await, I am focusing on the gifts rather than gachas.
First we have two lovely gifts that look great together. My cozy cardigan dress is from Fi's Creations, prize #01, and I am loving the colors as well as the knit texture. Standard mesh sizes here, I had no trouble whatsoever with the fit. My jewelry is from Redrose Jewellry, and their gift includes the necklace and matching earrings with a cute pair of socks on each and those sweet little hearts on the socks and as chain links. There is also a men's gift of a different necklace with a pair of socks as well, a more rugged look to it. Redrose is #03 in our hunt path.
I know I've said this before and I'm sure I'll say it again, but I need this outfit in RL!! Prize #05 from Mishmash Fusion is this lovely grey sweater dress in mesh sizes, and the tights you see in system layers with an Omega applier included, and even the grey fur winter boots are included for default avatar feet. I've been trying to decide if the pattern on the sides of the tights look like a vine or cracked pavement, it's kinda like a fun inkblot test :) All I know is this outfit looks wonderfully snuggly.
Two stores that are neighbors on their sim and both usually take part in all the Fi's hunts are Wicked and Sickly SWEET, so I am showing their gifts together. The landmark for #06 Sickly SWEET will actually bring you to #07 Wicked due to a forced landing spot, so I'd suggest you stay in Wicked and find this enchanting Elena Vest in Geometric with its built in belt, and a version without the shirt beneath is included in all standard mesh sizes as well as the version you see above. Then go out the front door and turn right, you'll find Sickly SWEET and the prize I am posing next to, the Lumi Fireplace. The land impact was only 8, and the fire looks so inviting.
A final glimpse for the night, I certainly look as though I'm ready for bed :) This is prize #09 from Euphoria Couture, their Lincoln Boyfriend's Shirt and Slipper Socks. I love the soft blue shade, and the socks are precious (another case of I need this in RL!) even if I had a bit of difficulty with the alpha layer. I will need to readjust the sock height or something I guess, but they are really cute!
Nail note of the night: I am sporting a very appropriate group gift from Hello Dave tonight, their Frosty Berry nails which are 6 shades of blues, silvers, and even a soft red with tiny flecks of snow barely noticeable on each. It is still free to join this fantastic group, and this was #91 of their weekly gifts which all previous are still available at the store so you NEED to join this group! I joined back when it still had a fee and I've never regretted it. My hair is worth mentioning, Truth Hair has sent out a new subscriber gift called Louisa with their Variety HUD for a nice selection of colors, and there's a separate HUD for 4 metal color choices for the accessory. I am a huge fan of their hair and am really excited about this new gift!

Hiya everyone! Tonight I am showing you some of the many wonderful prizes from the Firestorm Spooky Nights Hunt, this post consisting of items found on the Creepy Path on Sim 4. There are 28 skulls to be found there, and since you're searching an entire sim I highly recommend checking the hints on their blog as with all the paths. A little guidance can go a long way.
First we have a playful dress from skull #21, courtesy of Bodhi. It's called Scaredy Cat, and I'm sure you can see why. I accessorized with the gift from Wicca's Wardrobe, #04 in the hunt, which would be my sexy shoes. They are Manon Heels Spike Edition in Beige, and fit my Slink high feet perfectly.
Next we have an intriguing combination of mesh and flexi in our prize from YoKana, #12 in the path. Witch Gown Selena comes with the mesh gown in standard sizes, shown alone on the left, plus left and right arm ruffles, neck piece, flexi skirt with resizer, and the widow spider crawling towards my throat. Not shown are system layer gloves since no appliers.
I seem to have caught myself blinking again, hehe, but I'd like to think I was just trying to show you all my lovely eyeshadow ;) My jacket is prize #08 from Byrne, the Calavera Biker Jacket for girls (there is a vest included for the guys), in white and blue. I found myself seeing a lot more nipple than I generally prefer to show (my preference being none, LOL) so I noticed in the picture included with the prize they were wearing a tube top underneath. Found this cutie on the marketplace, details in the credits, to keep the girls under wraps, but you wear it the way you wish :) As for my jeans, they are prize #15 from Kingbal Stores, KS Any Low Rise Jeans that I have seen as a prize from them in other hunts and am fairly sure I've already blogged at least once before. They come with a HUD to change denim shades, lighter or darker as shown, and are in the usual range of mesh sizes.
Well known for organizing monthly free hunts, Fi's Creations has also provided a lovely prize in a skull along this hunt path for us, skull #20 to be exact. For the ladies we have this delightful Chocolate dress, and the men will find a matching chocolate suit, so we can be coordinated while...trick or treating for chocolate? Dancing the night away?
One final treat for the night, I found this adorable little darling in skull #27 from Bird-E-Mart. He is called bird-E-corn, and you can click to hear him chirp (more of a cooing sound perhaps, very sweet) and type a command /5 anim to turn the hold pose on and off. If you need me, I'll be cuddling with my new friend...
Nail note of the night: Nail Me! has a prize along this hunt path, called Jaaneman and including Slink and Omega HUDs that feature 5 choices of quite similar designs, black backgrounds with red streaks and 2 have a sparkly look to them. They can be found in skull #09. I have a skin note for tonight too, as my beloved WoW skins have provided a pair of prizes in skull #01, the skin I am wearing above and one for the guys as well. Appliers aren't included but I have a rather large collection of WoW skins and did have the correct appliers already. Xan tried on the men's skin and we both liked how it looked on him, seems to be the same skin tone as mine and had some very light stubble. Quite handsome :)

Hiya everyone! Tonight I will start showing you some prizes from the Totally Wrong Hunt, the latest free gridwide hunt from Fi's Creations. The first thing you need to know is that each store has 3 hints, 2 are wrong and one is right. You can't tell until you look around, but the hints aren't that complicated so it hasn't really been a problem so far. The hunt object is a small box or cube with the image of the hunt sign on it. The prizes are a variety of unusual and funny things, from wild mismatched outfits to innocent seeming items with interesting surprises. I laughed my way through unpacking and trying things out, and now I'm excited to share some of those goodies with all of you.
For my first photo I am displaying the gift from our hunt organizer Fi's Creations, so this is prize #01 and is called Heartburn. It includes the top and skirt in standard mesh sizes and each in pink and green for easy mixing, hehe, and a little midriff surprise with an alpha layer to show off I can't decide if that's a candle or a cherry bomb. Not only is it a playful touch, but if you wear one of the colors without the 'heartburn causer' and alpha, you can use this outfit for everyday traditional use :)
This made me giggle tremendously, as I combined two gifts that are each fun in their own way. The earrings are prize #04 from Redrose Jewellry, simply called Totally Wrong Earrings, and as you can see they are little flaming bombs with a lightning symbol and 'boom boom' on them. The flames you see can be turned off and on with a click, but it was more amusing to show you the flames trying to eat my hair. The shirt, pants, bangles, and glasses are all parts of the prize from Wicked, who are #07 and it's named Kimmy. The kitty on the shirt is adorable, the pattern on the leggings is quite fun, and I love the bracelet as well as the glasses. I might not wear them all together in the future, but I will wear them again.
I laughed so hard at this, particularly when I decided I look like a tropical fish who swam through food coloring. This is Emerald Couture's prize #10, So Wrong It's Right. It includes the mesh dress in standard sizes, the matching shoes for Slink high feet, and the headpiece in two different parts which produces an orange glow/twinkle on the purple headdress. That tiny orange headband you may be able to see is part of my hair and not part of the gift. I am definitely rocking this if I'm ever invited to an 80's fashion event at a club somewhere!
Our last glimpse for the night is a comfy cozy short set from Kitty Shape Wears, who are #13 in the hunt path. This is called Polka Dots and Plaid, and while I generally don't mix patterns this isn't quite as wild as it could be. It's a great color and I expect to wear the pieces either together or individually in the future a lot.
Nail note of the night: same as last night, I am wearing the dollarbie gift from La Boheme which can be found at the Body Mod Expo, with 10 lovely colors in gradient V patterns. It is so worth the visit! My hair note is the same as last night as well, other than wearing the version of Truth's Juliette (found in their discount room, woohoo for savings!) with the headband instead of yesterday's without.

Hiya everyone! Most of you are probably familiar with the very popular WOMENstuff Hunt, full of talented designers and generous gifts. For the entire month of September, you can visit 150 of those designers and find a red t-shirt for either $0L or $1L for some truly wonderful prizes. So far I'd say the majority chose to go with $0L, so I will mostly be showing you completely free gifts from the hunt.
First up tonight, we have some beautiful monochromatic gifts that show you don't need bright colors to catch attention. The dress is from Fi's Creations (#031) and you will receive both the white and black versions shown, in standard mesh sizes. The jewelry is courtesy of Chop Zuey who are #004 in the hunt. The set is called A Special Grace, and includes the necklace, earrings, and bracelet all shown.
If you want something less formal, perhaps this sexy outfit fits your mood better. If so, head on over to store #007 Sweet Temptations and find that t-shirt to receive the Azahara outfit. It includes the top, skirt, and boots for Slink high, with plenty of different sizes included so you can find the best fit. There is also a system layer pair of panties included, since that skirt is remarkably short that it is a good idea ;)
Back to formal, this gorgeous gown is from Mariposa, who are #012 in the hunt. This Iridescent Satin Bandage Gown is a stunning color, comprised of a mesh skirt and top in standard sizes, along with the left and right flexi skirt pieces. As you can see, it looks great with or without the flexi! There are also fitmesh gloves included but not shown.
The last look of the night is the LYNN dress from Anin a Gris, who are #036 in the hunt. The autumn colors are quite lovely, and I accessorized it with the gift from #011 Stars! That includes the Fall Leaves necklace and earrings shown, with a closer look in the inset so you can see the detail. I love the each leaf is a different artistic style, yet they all work so well together.
Nail note of the night: I located the t-shirt at #043 Pink Cherry and was excited to find their Wings exclusive nail polish HUD. There are several different colors of a wing design on black backgrounds.
