Hiya everyone! There are more lovely prizes to share from the Moolto.com Madness Hunt 2016, and as I explained yesterday you'll need to join their free group and visit their hunt headquarters to pick up a pair of magic glasses so you can see/find those cupcakes with their big toothy grins. They are also wearing glasses, but theirs are pink and blue male and female symbols, one on each eye (yes, the cupcakes have eyes, but that works considering they also have teeth!). With your group tag and your magic glasses, you can claim all sorts of generous gifts like the ones I showed last night and the ones below, plus many others.
This first dress is perfect for Halloween, but certainly not limited to it. If you like what you see, please head to Paisley Daisy and find this Day of the Dead dress in their cupcake. It comes in 8 fitmesh sizes including Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink so it will fit your favorite curves wonderfully. I was intrigued by how most of the color seems to be in her features (chin, lips, around her eyes) rather than the makeup itself, it is an attractive effect.
Another terrific seasonal gift can be found at La Gazza Ladra, this Hell'o'Pumpkin dress. Their clothing is all original mesh creations so I'm guessing this prize is as well, and it is included in standard sizes. I love the swath of green for the wide belt that reminds me of a pumpkin's leaves, and the texturing is charming.
A little black dress is a critical part of many wardrobes, and in SL they can be like potato chips...you can never have enough! This prize from Tiffany Designs is a striking LBD called Adore Mini Dress with Appliers in Black, so it won't surprise you when I tell you that it includes both system layers and appliers for TMP, Omega, Slink, and Belleza for the top and glitch pants. The skirt consists of front and back panels, each in standard mesh sizes, and you can edit the texture offset (there's a very helpful notecard with instructions) if you need to adjust the height of the panels, as I did. Those babies were riding way too low and I was grateful for the ability to fix that.
One last look for tonight, you will really need to see this in person to appreciate it but I humbly present glimpses of Kiss of the Spider Woman 16 by Paris METRO Couture. You can see that I am surrounded by floaty flexi, as well as a spider web backpiece. The base of this stunning dress is the top and glitch pants in system layers along with appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, and Slink, and the skirt is 3 parts (left, right, and center) so I added each separately. The spider web comes in the darker version shown (hoping it would show better against my background) and a lighter shade. I have always felt like flexi was meant to move, so this beauty should be worn dancing among other things :)
Whew, what a day! After 3 times logging out and back in, I came to the realization that the inventory lost when I crashed (75% of it, including all poses and any hunt prizes I picked up prior to today) were not coming back without a fight. So I really winged it here for this post, then I spent some time researching the problem. I discovered that the only remedy was to clear cache and go somewhere quiet to let it rebuild, well I had an appointment and other things to do beforehand so I only let about 80% come back before I had to skedaddle. My next goal is to reduce that inventory's grand total so it doesn't have to take so long!! The appointment went really well and I'm feeling fairly good, just ready to relax now and enjoy time with Xan. Hiya everyone! I had the pleasure of visiting the Swank Event and exploring their hunt as well, and I have some goodies to show you from both the hunt and the group gifts found at the main event. Their group is free to join and there are several signs scattered about to click, easy peasy. This month naturally has a Halloween theme, along with the majority of the grid it seems :) Here are just a few treats to be found...
First I am sporting a prize that can be found in the hunt area, which can be reached by teleport pad at the front door. You are looking for slowly rotating witches (flat prim) black with a slight orange glow to them. The best advice I can give you is that things that look solid in SL are not always so, and the figure at the other end of the room is actually a guide to a portal (just walk through!). In the hidden prize from RGDW you will find this very cute Ruffle Denim Short Shirt and Skirt. The seasonal pattern on it is quite subtle, but I really like the mixture of pumpkins, bats, and fall leaves scattered about the fabric. Standard mesh sizes for each top and skirt, and wowie is that a short little skirt!
I showed that first so I could then use the skirt for modesty's sake to share some of the free group gifts, lots of great tops. This sweet sweater is from DaneMarkZ and is called Swank Sweater in Blue Pine. Such a terrific color, and I'm a big fan of the soft ruffles.
This pairing might not have been my best idea ever, LOL, but please ignore the skirt and focus on the stunning gift from *HH* :) Their Ladies Mesh Boyfriend Blazer n Tee with the Sugar Skull design are a group gift and in several mesh sizes, with amazing colors and a great vibe of casual but quirky.
Combining sexy and spooky, this sheer mesh cobweb lace top is our group gift from Paisley Daisy, and comes in standard sizes (I am wearing the M here). No alpha layer because the goal is to see the skin beneath, although I am not wearing any sort of pasties and it doesn't look inappropriate as far as I can see from this angle. I'm sure I could find some cute jack-o-lantern pasties if I wanted to wear this in public safely, and I'm sure any black or orange skirt or pants would look terrific with it.
A really eye-catching decor item that I couldn't resist sharing, this is a Swank group gift from Snuggles and is the chair, cobweb, broom, cauldron, sweetly carved pumpkin, and bag of candy corn all rolled into one piece. This is simply decoration and can't be sat upon, but I wouldn't want to sit on the cute smiling jack-o-lantern anyway because he deserves to be seen.
No real nail note of the night, as I used the default Slink HUD and chose a simple French manicure/pedicure. It really does make things easier sometimes :) I hope you're all having a wonderful day/evening, magical magpie hugs to all!!

Hiya everyone! I have some more treasures to share from the enMESHed Into Summer Hunt with all of you, it's an enjoyable hunt for variously colored popsicles in about 55 different stores. What delights are hiding in the free goodies? I have given you a glimpse yesterday, and here's another glimpse for tonight...
This amazing outfit is from Dressed by Lexi, #37 in the hunt, and includes a crop top and skirt in standard mesh sizes along with a system layer tube top and panties for extra security. I accessorized with prize #23 from Freya's Finest Jewels, the lovely mesh anchor earrings and necklace. The blues of the dress work well with the nautical theme of the jewelry.
If you'd like something in a darker blue, we have this very bold skirt set from Vero Modero #34 in the hunt. This is the Duo Set in Blue, and the modern styling is quite chic.
One of our stores, Cosmo Chic, has 2 different locations in the hunt, and this is their prize #48 simply called Summer Short Set. I love the colors, and it's sweet but sexy with the high waist and open front top, and those ruffles and the little bow are wonderful!
The other location of Cosmo Chic is hiding this fun outfit in their #49 popsicle. It's called Mandy Summer Skirt Set and the colors are so reminiscent of sand and surf to me. The skirt and top each come in standard mesh sizes.
Finally we have this exquisite, gauzy looking mesh dress from Paisley Daisy #38. It's named Daisy Dabs White Gown, and the detailed texturing is really quite remarkable. This makes me think of a sunset cruise in a peaceful bay or harbor setting, with a cool glass of champagne and a gentle breeze to usher in the night.
My nail note of the night is a special one and VERY limited time! Head over to La Boheme by tomorrow (July 3rd) and you'll find a freebie on the back wall, Slink HUDs for hands and feet called Ancient Tide in silver and gold. I'm such a huge fan of their nails, and eagerly jumped at the chance to pick up a freebie :)
