Hiya everyone! Tonight I am thrilled to be showing you some of the many terrific prizes from the Fall 2017 Twisted Hunt, which is the 18th biannual round and has a theme of Victorian Gothic. The cubes you are searching for this time are Burgundy Wine colored, and that color is featured on some of the generous prizes. The cubes are free when you find the right one, but that in itself is the catch since this is billed (I believe quite accurately) as the hardest hunt in SL. There can be up to 10 visible decoys, wireframe is useless since they can hide infinite amounts in the walls/floors/furniture and those would not count as visible decoys, and they are not required to offer hints. All prizes are within 30m of the landing spot, and I do suggest joining their inworld group where you can politely inquire about possible hints. Xan and I are taking our time, exploring the many side/mini hunts at various locations, and this means that my Twisted posts will probably not be consecutive. She comes in standard mesh sizes and has some lovely details including the lacing on the back and the layers of lace on the bodice and skirt. That sweetheart neckline provides a perfect frame for the prize from Secrets of Gaia, their SoG Twisted Victorian Gothic Necklace. If you look closely, you will see that among the gemstones are burgundy cubes, actually replicas of the hunt objects we seek. I was pleased to see that special touch, the necklace makes a beautiful souvenir of our hard work hunting!

One last look for the evening, this is the Dixie Designs prize called Red Skull Ivy Top and it includes standard mesh sizes along with Belleza Freya, Belleza Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. The pattern and high collar give it Victorian flavor, while the open front adds modern sensuality. I expect you will be able to pair it with plenty of your favorite skirts and pants, maybe one with a nice velvety texture.

The values you can find there have impressed me for ages, long before I even thought about starting to blog, let alone having the honor of joining their blogging team :) There are also some free prizes in my post tonight, from a fun Easter egg hunt taking place at the Kikai Spring Market. Just explore the shops and carts at their market and you will see a few dozen eggs that are dressed up in pretty patterns for the holiday, give them each a click and claim your prizes.

Anachron has some fantastic selections for us on their Springtacious cart, namely their Vintage Paisley Belted Dress in 6 different colors. This is blue on the left and pink on the right, and each color includes standard sizes plus Belleza, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique fits. I definitely appreciate the attached belt, as it really adds a special touch to the overall look. Just $10L per color variety, so go scoop up the deals and drape yourself in pretty paisley! Let's peek inside a few more Easter Eggs from the Kikai market, shall we? This is our prize from Emerald Couture, their EC Rock The Rabbit Purple N Gray. It features a fun shirt dress with a bunny eared hood, and a cute rocking rabbit on the chest, in 6 mesh sizes (standard and one called flexi, probably a fitted) plus those cute leggings with music notes down the left leg are included in system layers and an Omega HUD. Even the boots for Slink High feet are tucked in there, finishing off the look so nicely.
One of my favorite colors is purple like that prior outfit, and another is pink as seen here, so tonight's colors are all making me happy. This is the prize from SweetReds Designs and is named Julie. She is included in standard mesh sizes, and is a great choice for a breezy look on a warm spring day. I am fond of hearts too, so those scattered about the plaid of the fluttery skirt caught my attention too.
One more pretty in pink look, this dress is hiding in the egg from MYSTY and is called Spring Dress Woman Gift Kikai Hunt Spring Market. That's a mouthful :) There are system layers and an Omega applier for the top and glitch pants, then the flexi skirt has a built in resize script so this dress can suit a generous range of bodies and shapes. I felt a nice way to dress it up would be to add a single accessory, and one of the eggs from SugarBaker's provided these striking Easter Bangles that fit the bill. They have a resize script built in so you can adjust these as necessary, and there is another version in a different egg so keep on searching :) I think they would look wonderful against a solid black dress too, or even a shirt in any color found in the bangles and your favorite jeans.
I did catch up on sleep today, and was surprised when I finally woke up that April the giraffe didn't decide to have the baby while I slept. I feel that way every time I get any rest lately though, that I'll miss it! Poor girl, she must be tired of being pregnant by now, it can't be easy no matter what species. Hiya everyone! Tonight I am happy to show you a few more Twisted Hunt Fall 2016 prizes, this round of the hardest hunt in SL lasts for the whole month of September and has a theme of Divination. The cube color of steel blue usually makes it to many of the prizes, incorporated into the theme by some designers, so that makes for even more lovely gifts to find. My best suggestions for this challenging gridwide would be to join the inworld group, and be very patient and methodical while examining each store. Teamwork can help too, not out in local chat but among friends in private messages or on voice chat you can cover more ground and think through the clues together from different perspectives. It isn't impossible to do alone of course, but I just think that things like this can be more fun with a friend.
My first stunning look is a prime example of beautiful theme interpretation from Anachron, who are #11 in the hunt path and part of a 3-store side hunt as well. The main prize is the Seeress Hooded Dress which has versions with or without hair (I needed it because my hairs never tend to work well with hats or hoods, they always poke through) and a 7 color HUD for the hair. Each version comes in standard sizes, and my blindfold you see is a separate piece so you can wear it if and when you wish. I love the subtle cube on the bodice. That side hunt I mentioned entails talking to an avatar (IM her, don't just stand there babbling in local chat like I did at first, LOL) who offers you gifts as well as the next clues or directions, and I really enjoyed taking part in it. The necklace you see is actually prize 5 of the 8 side hunt prizes, and you will need to wear it at one point to advance in the side hunt. It looks great with this gown, and will go well with plenty of wardrobe favorites.
This outfit caught my attention for sure, the Boho part of my soul (which is probably a majority of it lately) felt like dancing with happiness! This is our prize from AIDORU who are #22 in the Twisted path, and their Maga Fortune Tellers Outfit consists of the top and skirt in standard mesh sizes, big hoop (piratess) earrings, and a single Slink Belleza High foot necklace with a resize HUD included. These colors are delightful!
Next I decided to try my hand at some runes, thanks to the prize from #26 Co*Motion. This is their Rune Diviner's Table with an animated sit pose, the table/chair/everything you see on the table are a single piece with 11 land impact. The runes can be clicked individually to change them, and if you zoom in on the open books there are explanations for each rune. Even the candle can be clicked to turn off and on, lots of great details here. Now if only my Hogwarts letter would arrive already...*looks outside for an owl*...I would gladly take their Ancient Runes class.
Many of us will feel this way if we spend too much time on the Twisted hunt path without a break, hehe, but this prize has an even funnier thought behind it. Prize #29 from The Dark Fae is their Do It Yourself Phrenology Kit, and that would be the study of the shape of the head and any lumps or bumps. *looks suspiciously at that hammer* I do believe I was a bit overzealous so I'll just rest my aching head for a moment ;) The table (land impact 3), chair with built in pose as shown (land impact 1) and lamp with on/off by click (shown off, land impact 4) can each be rezzed separately and positioned to suit your needs. The papers with charts and info are in a fixed location on the table, as is the hammer.

As you can tell by now from my past several posts, the Spring Freshness part of my title refers to the current round of the Wash Cart Sale, which wraps up on the 30th so you have a few days yet to visit if you haven't done so yet. As for the steamy part, well that is because I am showing a couple of free prizes from the Steam XI Hunt, a gridwide hunt with the theme Realms of the Deep. It does end in a few days, end of the month like the cart sale, so you will want to hurry if you are interested. Lots of fun nautical steampunk items can be found, mostly home decor.
I definitely look like I was caught twirling around in this lovely dress from Loordes of London, one of their terrific Cart Sale options. This is The Victorian Standard #20 and I am delighting in the details like the rich colors and that shiny attached belt. It reminds me of a kilt, and at $10L is quite a deal. We now head to ancient Greece, by way of the Anachron cart at the Cart Sale. This stunning chiton is the Women's Homeward Star Chiton and can be found there in several variations for just $10L each. On the left you can see it in Virgo, and on the left is Pegasus. This actually made me realize that my avi's rezday would make her zodiac sign Virgo, so it is extra appropriate for me to choose that one :) Be sure to visit their cart and pick your favorite color combinations. Another don't-miss cart is DemotiK, with several bargains available including the Beaded Sateen Mini Dress in 4 different colors. Above you can see the Copper on the left, and the Teal on the right. And now for some steamy goodness, we have prize #021 from Steam XI courtesy of Inara's Fantasy Couture. Their delightful Inara's Steampunk Cutie immediately made me smile, with the fun details and earthy colors. Find their aqua colored cog and you will receive this in standard mesh sizes.
My final look of the evening is another Steam XI prize, this time from Sparrow by Design who are #040 in the hunt path. This is their cute Mrs Kraken Dress, with another appealing use of suspenders and skirt. This has the delicate bow tie attached and some great button work, and comes in standard sizes.
My post tomorrow may be late and/or much shorter than usual, as my day will involve an earlier start than normal and a bit of travel to get to see my family.
