Feeling Thankful

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I am craving a bit of variety, so I started out by visiting some stores who offer gifts for the TeleportHub.com group. There is a small $10L fee to join this group, probably to keep out spammers, but I think you will see that any one of these generous gifts more than make up for that cost :) Just have your group tag active and click the gifts, which are mostly in the frame created for the group with buttons on it to join the group and visit the website. What a useful site it is, with information about gifts and sales and all sorts of events to enjoy in SL. I also would like to invite you to the We Love Roleplay event, specifically the Entice display, where you will find a wonderful discounted selection with many options. This one is only available for a couple more days, so hurry!

My first stop was [>Ma'De<] where I claimed their Teleporthub Group Gift called Elle Winter. The top, skirt, and belt are each separate pieces in sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh bodies. I enjoy having that versatility so I can choose if I want to leave the belt off, or wear the skirt with a different blouse for example. All you have to do to claim this is have that group tag active and give the gift a click :)

Next we have the TeleportHub group gift from Masoom, which is their Kezia Dress Silk hot pink. This vibrant colored mini dress has one bare arm and one long sleeve, with high neckline and metallic accents both front and back. The gift includes sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, with a HUD offering 8 color choices for those metal studs. The stitching even gives the appearance of pockets on the back, great details!

I do appreciate animal print, so this gift from I.M.C. definitely caught my eye. It is a single piece with the appearance of separate top and wrapped skirt, and it comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies. In a sad side note, this store will be closing in a couple of weeks, but they are having a "going out of business" sale 50% off all items until the 12th of December. I do suggest therefore both picking up your gift soon, and taking a look around for anything you may wish to purchase while you can. 

No matter what the weather is like in RL, we can each visit areas in SL that are any climate we prefer. With that in mind, I am looking forward to wearing this Rose Set from *It's Gau* somewhere warm, even if my real weather is getting chilly ;) Our gift starts with the fluttery tank top in fitmesh standard sizes along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, while the shorts come in a similar set of classic sizes S, M, L, plus mesh body versions for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP. The flat sandals are provided too, in sizes for Belleza, Maitreya, Slink, and unrigged that can be adjusted to fit other mesh feet. I tend to dress fairly casually in my day to day SL adventures, so this gift is ideal for me, and hopefully for you too.

For my final look this evening, we head over to We Love Roleplay where you can find discounted items to spark your imagination and liven up your SL experience whether it includes roleplay or not :) This beautifully crafted outfit is the Entice - Aniron Outfit, with individual colors/styles in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya, and Maitreya Petite, for $260L each which is reduced from regular $325L. There are Celtic, Floral, Solids, and Stripes that each come in 8 individual colors, or you could pick up a fatpack of one of those categories with 2 bonus colors via HUD for $520L (discounted from $625L). A bonus of any of the fatpacks is the ability to change separate pieces of the outfit's colors, so the corset has buttons for main, trim, laces, and eyelets, while the shirt has the main and the trim. There is also a button to turn the shirt off/on, and one to turn the built in panties off/on. That's right, this beauty even has panties as part of its design! The red on the left above is one of the floral colors, and on the right is a combo of two colors from the Celtic HUD. 

It was a scaled down but enjoyable Thanksgiving here, with a tasty dinner of turkey and sides (bread stuffing, green beans, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, gravy) but most of all the company of my parents. I am thankful as always that they are in my life and doing well :) I have been trying my best to focus on the positive, and missing the rest of my family makes that challenging today but I know it will be better in the long run. Meanwhile I am going back to my parents' for leftovers tomorrow, LOL, another tradition that makes sense for a small family I suppose. It is my usual day to visit Friday anyway. Weekend Stuff

Hiya everyone! Tonight I am delighted to show you some more Womenstuff Hunt prizes, all of which are hidden inside red t-shirts with white high heels on the front and the All 'stuff logo on the back, for free or just a single linden dollar. This is the ladies' path of the 5 All 'stuff Hunt varieties, each with its own color of shirt and theme for the prizes you can claim. The website is handy as it will show you the hunt paths with landmarks, hints, information if a store needs to be skipped, and which prizes have been created exclusively for this hunt. We are in the second half of the month so time is starting to catch up with us, but you still have nearly 2 weeks to find these wonderful prizes. 

The evening's first look is our free prize from Atlantis Design, called Aisha Red. This sleeveless sheath dress has a beautiful texture, and is provided in a standard fitted version for classic avatars plus sizing for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. 

Next I got my flirt on with the Illustrious hunt prize called Macy Dress. This revealing mini looks like two parts connected in the front with a large bow, and has a fun ombre from red to black. The free prize includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies.

I also found the prize at CHANGED SEASONS, their adorable Mirella Jumpsuit that is decorated with bold dots. This colorful short suit comes in sizing for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies. It is great for summer, and free for everyone who locates that t-shirt.

I was also lucky enough to find the shirt at I.M.C. so I could claim their free Woman's Hunt Dress June 2020. It is an elegant combination of solid black long sleeved top and boldly colored patterned skirt, in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. I would love to add a simple necklace or earrings when I wear it out somewhere, just a touch of gold I think would flatter it :)

My final look this evening made me feel like royalty, and might be just the right choice for you if you have plans that call for something formal. It is the free prize from PHE: which is their Candy Gown pink, and wow is it stunning! The full length strapless gown has a brief train in the back, and a partial layer with a generous dusting of sequins and sparkles. The prize consists of Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes for those very popular mesh bodies.

No Place Like Home

Hiya everyone! Tonight we continue with the bounty of Stay at Home Club gifts, thanks to the many generous designers who want to lift our spirits while we protect each other by staying home. I am so proud to be a part of the SL community, particularly when I get to witness some of my fellow residents banding together and supporting all of us this way :) There are several categories on the website, so be sure to peek at all of the tabs to see what else is being offered besides the apparel seen here this evening. We are all going to come out of this mess with highly fashionable and well-accessorized avatars as well as freshly remodeled homes at this rate! We will have had extra time in SL along with all these fantastic free gifts, plus any regularly scheduled events to shop at, so plenty of opportunity.

This first look is a cute strapless mini from I.M.C. which is simply named Stay at Home Dress. The belt is well coordinated with the pattern of the dress, with strands dangling down the front beneath a metallic closure. It comes in Hourglass and Maitreya sizes, to fit two very popular mesh bodies. 

I also stopped by the Luziefee store, where I happily claimed their gift called LUZ - Beach Pearl 1. This gathered gown reminds me of a modern toga, while the colors made me think of soothing ocean waves and glistening sand. This gift includes plenty of sizes: 5 classic, 5 fitmesh, and versions for Belleza, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. 

Pink Passion has a sweet gift for us, their Flower Romper whose creamy color is a great backdrop for small pink blossoms scattered about. The halter style has a sexy bare back, and would be great for showing off your favorite tattoo perhaps :) The gift consists of Maitreya and Hourglass sizes.

I also got to enjoy the female gift from No Shot called ~NS~ Striped Swimsuit, and I specified female because there is also a pair of striped shorts for the guys. Our swimsuit has a bare belly and crossed straps in the back, and comes in sizes for Alice, Altamura, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP bodies. There is also a HUD provided with 6 color choices, all with vivid black stripes that really stand out against any hue.

My final look tonight is a sensual Asian gown from HAIKU called Sai #StayatHome. It is designed for the Maitreya mesh body, with daring side slits that basically turn the front and back into slender panels of rich silk with golden trim. There is a HUD included, but I did not see any buttons on it that affected the dress in any way (there are ones to get the store's landmark and marketplace link) but it is possible that SL was simply being difficult for me at the time. That has been happening a lot lately, for example our skybox did not rez for Xan and me 2 of the past 3 evenings. I'm sure there are a lot more people are spending time in SL and it may be straining their servers, as I have seen problems mentioned in groups and on social media with textures and objects not rezzing. My plan is to be patient and keep my fingers crossed :) 

Ahh, the joys of anxiety...I visit a podiatrist every 9 weeks like clockwork (insurance sets that timeframe) to get my toenails taken care of because I am very prone to ingrowns, and have 3 currently digging in and hurting. Over 2 months ago I scheduled my next visit for tomorrow, and they are still treating patients so I am trying to steel myself for a scary outing. I keep reminding myself that people are not visiting a foot doctor because they are ill from the virus, and they are surely cleaning things very well, and I will be wearing a mask...common sense can't always chase away fear though. Only one doctor is on call at a time, and they are not having anyone sit in a waiting room but bringing us back to the exam room immediately, so I know they are doing their best for everyone's safety. My dental appointment earlier in the month had been canceled by them as non-essential, and I was fine with that since I am not having any particular issues or discomfort like with my ingrown toenails. Group Gifts Galore

Hiya everyone! For tonight's post, I was inspired by the many new gifts I had seen mentioned for the FabFree group, short for Fabulously Free in SL. The group is free to join, and the corresponding blog is an amazing source of information about gifts, sales, events, and offers introductions to their participating designers. I enjoy visiting stores that I haven't been to in a while, or occasionally one that is totally new to me, to see what is new and get a feel for their style. Speaking of style, I am a longtime fan of the Entice store too, and they have a new group gift that I am delighted to share as well. Their info group is also free to join, so all of tonight's featured outfits are completely free for you.

My first look comes from Fatal Fashion, who have several group gifts for various groups behind their desk on the back wall. The one for FabFree is called Look Pack 42, and includes both the outfit and shoes. The blouse, tank top, and denim shorts are all linked together as one easy-wearing piece, in fitmesh standard sizes plus versions for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. The matching shoes with a coordinating plaid pattern are for Belleza, Maitreya, Slink, and TMP High feet. This will come in handy for a casual weekend :)

GeMyles has various group gifts upstairs near their lucky chairs in their new location, and the one for FabFree is this playful Fleur Top & Shorts outfit. The top and shorts are each provided in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP versions, with a 6 color HUD for the tank top. The sandals are included too, sized for Slink High feet. I found this unique romper outfit in solid black with elegant black and white houndstooth pattern layer, from Belle Epoque. It is called Gleaming Skies and is designed for the Maitreya mesh body. At first glance it looks like a skirt set, very intriguing.

For my final look, we visit Entice with their Entice Info group tag active (free to join) and claim their newest gift for us. It is called The Power of Love Dress Fatpack, and comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and even a classic version. There is also a HUD provided with 9 choices each for the dress, trim (neck and sleeves), and belt. The trim and belt are solid colors, while the dress has a butterfly pattern on the top and a section on the skirt with pretty paisley. The long sleeves and knee length skirt are balanced by the dramatic V neckline, so it is sophisticated and sexy.

What a day...I enjoyed dinner with my parents, but we found out that there is a confirmed case of coronavirus in the neighboring county, which is where my grandmother still lives and I was born and raised. I am not panicking about it, but I am not completely comfortable either. Apparently the patient traveled to another state and was in contact with someone who was later confirmed to have it, so now we have to hope that the patient did not spread it here before being diagnosed and quarantined. I think at least one vendor at the farmers market comes from the other county each week, and who knows how many shoppers. Good thing I already had hand sanitizer on hand because of my mild germophobe tendencies, so the shortage does not bother me quite yet. I have plans to make my own already, so that will motivate me. Okay, happier topics...I have a lot of hunting to do in SL since Twisted Hunt started and I have not claimed a single cube yet, probably in a few days I can get moving on that :) Other events are coming soon too, like a cart sale at The Wash, so I am looking forward to how this month will unfold. Womenstuff For the Weekend

Hiya everyone! Tonight is another terrific group of Womenstuff Hunt prizes, which could easily describe so many of these $0L or $1L prizes :) They can all be found inside hidden red t-shirts with green and brown stripes, not to be confused with prior rounds' solid red or red/white versions which are still hiding at some stores. The hunt's website has hints and landmarks, so you can find over 130 gifts for a total cost of less than an average outfit at full price. The charming dress from Tiffany Designs reminds me of a ballerina, perhaps influenced by my hairstyle a bit. ::TD:: Loris Mesh Dress ~ Purple is a strapless mini trimmed in lace, in sizes for standard, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP. Just find the free t-shirt to claim this beauty.

There is a $1L prize found at anny's Fashions, their [AF] Laurie MicroMini with flirty sheer panel zigzagging down the front. It comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP sizing, with a HUD that lets you pick from 5 colors to tint it. 

Next we have the free prize from Prism, their Daisy Dress by Jezzixa Fall Flowers. It is provided in 5 classic sizes and 5 fitmesh sizes, so it should be able to fit many classic avatar shapes and mesh bodies. The fun pattern has not only flowers, but acorns and leaves among the intriguing foliage.

There is something so appealing about the combination of red and black, like this beautiful gift from I.M.C. named WHunt Nov 19. The dress comes in Freya, Hourglass, Maitreya, and Tonic Curvy sizes, and has a tiny sheer panel at the waist with another at the neckline. It is so elegant with that pencil skirt, such a flattering shape.

You are probably familiar with 1 Linden 1 Hour, but just in case...it works just like the name sounds, with specially selected offers available on sale for just $1L but the catch is it's only that deeply discounted for one hour. Timing is everything :) So this gorgeous Entice - Alone Again - BlueGreen dress will be available Sunday (the 17th) from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, or 13:00 to 14:00 in what the USA calls military time but I have seen some countries use as their standard. If you are drawn to this striking pattern as I am, I hope you are able to be logged in and visiting Entice at that time. I am a bit slow tonight as I am tired and was distracted by an infuriating hockey game. On a happier note, one of my favorite cooks made a homemade cream of chicken soup that might be the best soup I've ever tasted :) It is certainly the right weather for it, although I am one of those odd ducks who eats soup year round.
