Hiya everyone! My post title refers to a gridwide dollarbie hunt I picked up a few great prizes from, the Love Me or Hate Me Hunt. The sign has a lavender frame with a heart-shaped opening in the middle, scattered with hearts, and the hunt object you will be looking for is a small square version of that sign. Find the square for just $1L and you can claim a terrific prize, and tonight I will be showing you two of them. Then there are a couple of lucky chair prizes from Kamiri (free group tag needed) and even a fun set of nail polishes from the Hipster Fair courtesy of LIVIA. So let's get started taking peeks!
This first look from Moonstar is evidence that the hunt may be technically Valentine themed, but the prizes can have a timeless quality about them. This is named Valentina Dress and Bangles (another nod to the holiday) and all this gold delights my inner magpie. The dress comes in 5 classic mesh, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique sizes, and that burnished gold belt is built in to each one. The matching bangles have a resize script tucked inside, so you can adjust these beauties if need be. All this for just one linden, spectacular!
Another great find from this hunt is from Fashion Imaginings, their Love Knotted T-Shirt which comes in plenty of mesh sizes: standard, Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique. If you look closely at the black fabric itself, there are very subtle impressions of hearts in varying sizes on it which is a playful touch I greatly appreciated. The red logo made me think of the famous Love statue in Philadelphia, something I am pretty familiar with.
Over to the lucky chairs at Kamiri, pop on your free group tag and if your initial (or a wild card "?") comes up just have a seat to claim one of many generous prizes. This one is called Persefona Dress in Brown, and is a delightfully complete gift. It starts with the top and glitch pants, in system layers or appliers for TMP, Banned, Belleza, Slink, Maitreya, WowMeh, Omega, KL Lena, and G.Inc. The mesh skirt panel comes in standard sizes and there is a notecard with a link to a video to help you adjust it if need be. Also included, the matching choker, belt, and bracelets for both wrists. It is a very sexy look, in fact I do realize that I have a hint of nipple show-through but made an executive decision (LOL) to not try to hide it for the sake of keeping the overall look of the dress intact.
Another lovely lucky chair prize from Kamiri is this Emma Dress in Green, whose combination of color and sheen reminded me of jade. It consists of the mesh skirt panel in standard sizes, along with the top and pants in system layers plus appliers for TMP, Maitreya, Omega, Belleza, and Slink. There are several colors to be won from the lucky chairs if green isn't your favorite, and I have shown a couple of the others before. This is a really versatile look, elegant and alluring.
I also promised you some fun fingernails, well here they are! I do enjoy visiting fairs of various themes, mainly to see what is new and popular in SL and to appreciate the creativity of designers such as LIVIA. I am running behind tonight, but since I wasn't certain I would even be able to blog tonight, I am trying to convince myself not to beat myself up too badly for it. I am still mostly fighting off whatever bug is visiting my household, and am surprised my hands still have any skin left from how often I am scrubbing them with antibacterial soap. I might take a day off from blogging to do some inventory maintenance and maybe even switch viewers. Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some more prizes to show you from the Romanceify Hunt, which is a free gridwide hunt organized by Apply Your Body. Just visit each store and look for a hidden flat prim pair of hearts, set for sale for $0L. There are hints on the website to guide you, and there are about a dozen stops so a nice way to spend a bit of your weekend without consuming all of your time.
Let's start with this charming dress from Fashionnatic named Lovia. This sweet layered mini has slender belts that match the strap behind the neck, and it is provided in standard mesh sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP versions. I like it as a choice for celebrating Valentines Day or just any random day you wish to feel extra pretty.
More ravishing red to be found at Sevyn East, as their generous prize consists of the HOT IN LUV dress in two versions. The patterned version 1 and solid version 2 each have skirt panels in standard mesh sizes, and both system layers and appliers for Maitreya, Belleza, Slink, and Omega. Plenty of options for whatever your mesh body preferences are, and a very flirty look in either variety.
Grumble has a special treat hiding in their heart, their GG Heart Shirt Red which is provided in an Omega HUD (sorry, no system layers) and has a hint of lace at the collar, along with those three artful cutouts. As is my tradition lately, I went with the Marketplace jeans gift from Delizio to wear with the playful shirt.
Perhaps you were thinking of something more intimate to wear while celebrating Valentines Day, then head on over to SilverMoon/Blaxium to find that heart! Their prize is called BLX "Sama" Lingerie Rouge, and it is a gorgeous set of bra, panties, garters, and toeless stockings, all on a handy Omega HUD. There are no system layers for this one either (sorry about that) but I know that most mesh bodies are compatible with the Omega relay system. That back of the bra is very intriguing, and the lace details are beautiful.
Nail note of the night: I am still enjoying the wonderful nails I wore yesterday, from this very same hunt, courtesy of Fashion Imaginings. I stuck with the red of their 4 color choices today since all of my clothing matched it so well. I also have a hair note of the night, as Truth VIP group has been fortunate enough to receive the February group gift and it is fantastic as always! This is the style called Char, and she has a sister style with a loose braid down one shoulder that is also included in the gift, plus a full fatpack of color HUDs. The group is not free to join, but ohh so worthwhile if you are a fan of Truth's hair as I am.
I am definitely excited for this weekend, which will have my usual level of plans (farmers market in the morning, another family dinner Sunday) and enough time to relax as well. The weather should be clear, and there is a Pokemon Go event (yes, I am still playing) so I need walking credit! I have hatched a few of the new ones, my pokedex is still much less complete than others I know who play (including Xan) so I have plenty of work to do. It is all good motivation to be out and about. Hiya everyone! Today I have been enjoying some prizes from the Romanceify Hunt, which is a free gridwide hunt organized by Apply Your Body so the hunts are generally quite friendly to mesh bodies. I have had fun with their prior hunts as well, and surely will continue to do so in the future. Great stores participating, just look for a small flat prim double heart set for sale for $0L at each location. The hints are on the website, and it is a modest sized hunt that provides a great sense of satisfaction after completing. Also much satisfaction to be had when unpacking all the lovely goodies!
My first outfit is our hunt prize from Emmalena Damour Designs, called Golden Heart Blouse and Low Rise Jeans in Red. The wrap blouse comes in standard mesh sizes, a fitted version, and fits for Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique. The pants are included in a system layer along with appliers for Altamura, eBody, Eve, Slink, Belleza, Omega, and Maitreya. That is an impressive array of possibilities, and a sharp looking outfit.
Next we have a sassy dress from OMG! Inc. called Leather & Lace Zip Up Dress 1. This includes standard mesh sizes, and a texture changing HUD that features 4 colored leather with lace panels (one is seen on the left) and 6 choices of black leather with colored lace (as on the right). I am pleased to say that the style works well with the Slink Physique alpha HUD, a few quick clicks and I was all set, as you can see. I feel a bit like Xena Warrior Princess :)
An important part of romance-ifying yourself is what lies beneath, the lingerie you choose, and this prize is one of a few offerings from this hunt. This is the Daria Bodysuit from [QE], their Valentine Edition in Red/Pink. Inside you will find both system layers and an Omega applier, and there are beautiful details like the intricate seams and metal closures. The tiny heart pattern is terrific for the holiday, but also for year round wear.
My nails are the lovely Hearts All Over Slink Nail Polish from the hidden heart at Fashion Imaginings. The set includes 4 colors of hearts, peeking from a black background, and can be mixed or you can simply choose your favorite match to your current outfit. It reminds me of RL nail art with stamping, which I have not mastered but admire the look.
We got about 3 or 4 inches of snow today, but it switched to rain and things got icy so I am glad I didn't leave the house. Things will be warmer the next few days so I do not expect it to stick around long, and so my weekend plans are still intact. The main roads are apparently clear, so that helps a lot.
