Entice and Let It Snow

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we have a gorgeous group gift and several hunt prizes to see, starting with a visit to The Makeover Room. This event is organized by the Entice store, so they generously offer a group gift for each round that is usually clothing from their fashion line. They do create makeup looks too, so be sure to stop by their regular display at the event while exploring everyone's hot offers :) Then I took a stroll along the Let It Snow Hunt path, an adventure seeking pale blue snowflakes for $1L each by following the hints on their website. The landmarks for all participating stores are on there too, with preview images for most of the prizes, so you will need to have it open while you hunt. Winter fashions can be so much fun, although not all the prizes are exactly bundled up as you will see.

My first look is the charming Entice - Just a Dream Dress - Magenta, which can be yours for free with the group tag from The Makeover Room. Just visit by the 26th of the month and you can claim this vibrant dress in sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies as well as a fitted version for classic avatars. I really like the long sleeves and dainty collar, and the buttoned corset style waist.

Then I started hunting by visiting Wiccan Wears, whose snowflake holds their ~WW~ Dara Patriotic 2 Romper for just $1L. It has a really deep draped neckline and high cut legs, with white stars on the red top and red stars on the white stripe. It sure is colorful! :) This prize includes standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body versions. 

Next we see the Sophie dress red from Jasmine clothing, whose FabFree group gift I shared here recently. This deep crimson strapless dress comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. The gathered tiers are a playful detail, and the color looks like it gets darker on the way down like an ombre or gradient.

I also found the snowflake at The Sissy Bar, so I was able to claim their (TSB) Let It Snow 5 Hunt Outfit. It is a single piece with the appearance of a sweater and short skirt, in sizing for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies along with a standard fitmesh version. The top has three ornaments at the neckline that are a great match for the skirt, bold blue with beautiful snowflakes.

I have always liked the combo of gold and white, and this beauty makes me feel like a modern day Cleopatra.

Totally Twisted

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have more free prizes from the Twisted Hunt Fall 2020, found inside slowly spinning cubes in the round's colors of moss colored earth. The theme is Drow, and I am learning quite a bit about them from researching the names of various prizes. My knowledge of Dungeons & Dragons is very limited, so I didn't even know that the lore of drow comes from there in the late 70s. They are dark elves, and there is a spider queen involved, so those facts have greatly influenced many of the gifts. It is billed as the hardest hunt in SL, and after you stumble across enough decoy cubes you will probably agree ;) I recommend teaming up with a friend or two, so you can get different perspectives and help each other. I also suggest joining their inworld group, where you can politely ask for a hint if you get really stumped, and will be among the first to know once the End Game is open so you can earn even more gifts and gray hairs. I joke, but I appreciate the challenge and am always grateful to have Xan by my side throughout. 

My first look is actually a great choice to wear while gridwide hunting, and I felt like a total bad-ass in it! This is the MLCC Drow Huntress Green Outfit from Moonlitecat Creations, and that is the texture of the cubes you are looking for on the top. The corseted top and laced pants each come in sizes for classic avatars (classic M and fitmesh M) as well as mesh body sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous. The matching boots include Freya, Maitreya, Ocacin, Slink, and Voluptuous sizing as well as an unrigged version. 

I also found the prize from Steel & Ink, for which I will offer the hint that I was amazed at where I found it ;) Be aware of teleport pads wherever you go, that is also a handy guideline. So this is their beautiful Drow Priestess gift, and it starts with the elegant deep blue gown with delicate spider webs and dramatic sleeves. It comes in classic M and fitmesh M for classic avatars, plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh body versions. Its daring slit on the right leg reveals the webbed tights which come in system/BOM layers plus an Omega applier. The coordinated shoes are for Freya, Legacy, Maitreya, and Slink high feet. This prize may give you a touch of deja vu, as it is similar to the first one I shared this evening. It is the *Valkyr RP* Drow Rogue F, and the M for male is in a separate hidden cube. This prize includes the top and pants each sized for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous bodies, with matching boots in Belleza, Belleza Freya, Maitreya, Ocacin, Slink, and Voluptuous versions. The firmly laced corset style top is a flattering look, and the strappy boots have a powerful feel to them.

This prize from ZFG made me smile, and genuinely chuckle thinking of how happy Xan will be when he sees it :) If you are a Monty Python fan and can quote Holy Grail, you will probably recognize the words on this O LORD shirt. In case you can't quite read it, above the white rabbit outline it reads "O Lord, bless this thy hand grenade, that with it thou mayst blow thine enemies to tiny bits, in thy mercy." My final look of the evening is a particularly flirty one, thanks to the cube at IBAN which holds their 297 DRESS TWISTED ME. This translucent latex dress has fun ruffles and is laced up each side, and it is so revealing that I decided to add a couple of "modesty flowers" in photoshop. Your prize will not have those of course, and will be completely see-through :) The gift includes Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes, with a color HUD that you can tint any color you wish...choose from one of several presets or use the RGB color grid to input your own selection. 

Quick makeup note of the night: I wanted a smoky eye look to go with the theme and colors of the clothing I was wearing, so I chose a wearable tester (like a demo, only better!) from alaskametro<3 called Black Magic eyeshadow 05. Their testers have one of each type of makeup from the set, for example this has one eyeshadow and one lipstick, that you can try on and ensure it fits and wears correctly on your head. I have always been happy with their makeup, from nails to lips to eyes and more, so I knew they were the right choice for what I needed.

Changing of Colors

Hiya everyone! Tonight I would like to help you get ready for autumn with some $1L prizes from the Changing of Colors Hunt 4. These goodies are each hiding inside an orange autumn leaf, and many stores have an example of it on or near the hunt sign to give you an idea of what to look for. Their website has all the landmarks and hints on it, as well as preview images of many of the prizes, so it is helpful to have open and available while you are hunting. It is still summer weather here in RL but I know it will be fall soon enough, and am glad to have some very affordable new prizes to enjoy.

First we have a reminder from [Ari-Pari] that It's Fall, Ya'll! :) This is their Fall Sweater Dress that is an exclusive design for this hunt, in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. There is also a HUD included with 8 color choices, all of which have that pretty pumpkin on the front with the same saying. I would be tempted when it gets chilly to layer some jeans or leggings beneath too, turning it into a tunic just for even more variety. 

My next look comes from the leaf at Wiccan Wears, their lovely ~WW~ Freya Flare Dress Fitmesh with HUD. It is provided in standard fitmesh sizes along with Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions, with a HUD to select from 4 different colors for the top. The intriguing style appears like one piece from behind, but two from the front because of that bared midriff, a very pretty look.

How do you turn a motorcycle jacket into a dress, then make it even more versatile? This prize from MIRUS Designs would love to answer that for us :) It is called Ox Jacket w HUD, and is included in standard mesh sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and Legacy/TMP versions. The HUD has 8 texture options, some solid colors and a few patterns like on the left above. All have silver trim and zippers, and I like the 3/4 length sleeves with this short hem.

I am quite a fan of ombres or gradients, such as you see on this prize from The Sissy Bar. Their (TSB) Changing of Colors Hunt 4 jumpsuit is a delightful one piece outfit with ruched top and loose pants, looking particularly comfy for the upcoming season. It comes in a single size (M) for classic avatars, and versions for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. As a redhead by choice, I tend to shy away from colors like this, but as a blonde I am delighted with it :) I suspect my fellow auburn haired avatars will look equally beautiful in it of course.

My final look of the evening is another jumpsuit type outfit, this time a two-piece from [ IBAN ] called 298 Outfit Tillys Stripe. Even after taking a day off, I am still very slow this evening with this post. It was hockey that delayed me, as the game I was watching went into overtime for the equivalent of another half a game. The player who beat cancer and just completed his treatments two months ago was in his first game since the diagnosis, and it made me very emotional to see ♥. The game had it all...I laughed, I cried, I cheered, and screamed quite a bit when things were not going well ;) Now I get to emotionally prepare for another game Saturday, and whoever wins will move on in the playoffs. In SL, Xan and I are slowly making our way through the Twisted hunt path, a consistently challenging but well-organized hunt that I never miss. Elemental Desire Hunt

Hiya everyone! Tonight we have some $1L hunt prizes to enjoy, from the current round of the Dirty Little Secrets hunt called Elemental Desire 3. The hunt object is pictured on the hunt's website, a grouping of 4 circles that each have an element (air, water, earth, fire) depicted on it. There is a $1L womens path, a $1L mens path, and a $25L path, so be sure to follow the hints to find the correct prize. The hunt runs until the 25th of the month, so you have plenty of time.

My first look has me feeling provocative in pink! It is the prize from Uni Boutique called Loryne Dress - Pink, and it includes Altamura, eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and Tonic Curvy sizing. The lace-trimmed hemline is notably short, and I love the way the back is tied with a long floppy bow. 

Next we visit Cats n' Kittens Boutique, where I was able to find their very generous prize. The Fire & Ice Set of Dresses includes both the Fire on the left above, and Ice on the right, each in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. They have built in sheer skirt layers for a little more fullness, and a lovely X strap in the front that loops around the neck. 

Many hunt paths lead us to The Sissy Bar, a store whose name comes from the term for a part of a motorcycle which makes sense with the store being located near a motorcycle club :) This is their terrific DLS/EDH Tied Top & Booty Shorts outfit, with a delicate floral pattern on the top that looks lovely paired with the solid grey of the fluttery shorts. This prize is flirty without being overly revealing, which is precisely my style.

The prize from LOMO by [ IBAN ] is loaded with sex appeal too, as you can see...it is called 281 Dress Paisley Club, and consists of the dress (top), skirt, and chain each in sizes for Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya. There is also a HUD provided with 17 texture choices (10 patterned and 7 solid colors) for the top piece and the skirt. It also has buttons that my poor eyesight could not read very well, LOL, but seemed to be to adjust the transparency of the fabric. I accidentally made the top invisible at one point, which should teach me a lesson not to randomly click buttons that I cannot read ;) Small print, especially light words on a dark background, is my downfall with my particular vision problems, but I can certainly see how lovely this dress is!

My final look of the evening honors two elements, fire and water. They are the Dragonmoon Designs prize called [DD] Elements Top, a long sleeved blouse tied in the front for a belly baring look. Each color comes in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizing, so most mesh or classic avatars can find a size to fit them. I am wearing it with some free jeans from Delizio found on the marketplace, the white pair out of their fatpack that includes system/BOM layers plus Maitreya and Omega appliers. They are frequently seen in my posts as a versatile way to share tops with you that have no included bottoms.

Hiya everyone! Tonight we are exploring a very adult hunt, from its name to the hunt object and most of the prizes. It is the free HYIS (Hunt for Your Inner Slut) Desperate Slutwives, a funny and clever theme for this round of a long-running search for golden cocks. Yes, like a male appendage. Needless to say, I will be using lots of "modesty flowers" in these photos to hide my naughty bits because the clothing is intended for mature audiences. I try to leave something to the imagination here :) You will find hints and landmarks on the website, so it is important to have it open while you search for Mr. Happy in each store. I actually didn't realize the hunt was taking place, so you only have until the 15th to find these prizes, but there are just two dozen stores taking part so that shouldn't be a problem.

We begin this evening with a visit to Ahroun Designs, who have 4 free prizes waiting for all who find those golden hunt objects by following their hints. This is the [AD Originals] Kristin Bodysuit - White, a sheer outfit with floral embroidery and delicate fluttery trim. I probably dress more modestly than average for SL, but the fashions I share embody all sorts of styles and genres, which I greatly enjoy. I'm a Fitmesh Fanatic

Hiya everyone! Tonight I explored and found some gifts from the Fitmesh Fanatics group, which is free to join and has dozens of participating designers. There are plenty of places to find gifts that you can claim with the group tag active, and I usually keep an eye on group notices and group chat for information. I actually checked several of the stores involved in recent group posts to see if they had a gift available and that is how I found tonight's treats :)

First we visit the Z Black store, where we can claim their ::ZB:: Agua Marine Outfit gift. It includes the top in what I call the lucky 13 of mesh sizes (5 standard, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, Slink) and the strappy top in fitmesh standard sizes plus Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions. Even the sandals are provided, in a Slink Flat size. As I keep telling myself, spring will be here soon, and the warmer weather can inspire such fun wardrobe choices like this.

Our next stop is *It's Gau* where we get to pick up this beautiful Veronica Dress as our group gift. It is exactly what you need for your next night out, with that sequin texture and elegant silvery hues. The gift includes standard mesh sizes as well as Belleza, Maitreya, Slink, and TMP versions.

I was really drawn to this next gift because of the color and the style. It is found at the IBAN store, and is the exclusive Fitmesh Fanatics group gift called Valentine. There are actually two pieces here, the dress and skirt (the exposed side and the fringe are the skirt portion) and they each come in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Fox, and Werwolf. The material is quite sheer, just take a peek at my belly button showing through to get an idea.

If you find yourself craving something a bit more revealing, keep that group tag on and head over to Petry Model and pick up their Dress FGD. It comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique, with a HUD included offering 10 color choices. Some have black lace trim and others have white, and the straps match the lace on all. I tend to try out all the HUD options before picking a color, even if I think I know which I'm going to select, just for fun.

Ava Design has a flirty little top as their Fitmesh Fanatics gift for us called Adela. It includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique, with a HUD that lets you choose from 8 different textures. There are plenty of cheerful colors among the patterns, and I am wearing the top with my favorite Marketplace find, free jeans by Delizio which come in several colors as system layers along with appliers for Maitreya and Omega.

Let's Twist Again

Hiya everyone! Tonight we have more wonderful prizes from the Twisted Hunt, whose current round for Spring 2017 features the theme Infinity and color multi-green. Please remember that is is appropriately billed as the hardest hunt in SL, so I highly suggest joining the group and looking over their website for tips and guidance. The prizes are always worth the effort so I look forward to their hunts with nervous anticipation each spring and fall, knowing that I will be cursing the cubes yet so grateful for the rewards I earn by finding them. It makes a nice change of pace from staring at April the giraffe's hindquarters waiting for her to give birth, LOL!

If you would like to join me in being a nature spirit, find the hidden cube at Dramazone and open up those boxes inside, this is gift 1 of 2 and is a very generously detailed outfit. It starts with the dress in plenty of sizes (standard small, standard large, eBody, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique) and tall heels for Slink high or Maitreya. The added touches include mesh sleeves (standard sizes), the animated butterfly atop my head, attachments for the chest, upper arms, upper and lower legs, and those gorgeous roses. Even matching panties and the vines on my legs are included, system layers and Omega appliers for each. If you want a less dramatic look, you can always pick and choose which pieces to wear and which to leave in your virtual closet for another time.

This nightshirt from Black Rose Designs has a Matrix theme to it, as do many of the gifts and even a few side hunts this round. It is simply called Infinity Nightshirt and reads "Follow The White Rabbit", which you can do in comfy sizes for Belleza Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, TMP, and standard mesh sizes. 

For an elegant look (or two), I eagerly dove into the prize from ~Krakt~ called Infinity Bliss Female, and yes there is a matching outfit for the men. This dress comes in 8 fitmesh sizes including Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink, and the detailed texturing is quite remarkable. On the right I paired it with the lovely prize from LOMO by [ IBAN ], their Mesh Scarf Mag Infinity, which has a handy resize HUD included. The jewels adorning it really add to its charm, as you can see in the closer view of the inset. It will go with so many favorites already in your inventory, and I expect it'll be very striking against a black or white outfit too.

One last look of the evening, this fun outfit is hiding in the cube at Steel&Ink. It is called Infinity Womens and has a few different shades of green highlighted with gold so it reminded me of both the ocean and St. Paddy's Day. The jacket and skirt each include standard mesh sizes plus Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, eBody (jacket only), Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. The top and panties are in system layers along with Omega appliers, while the matching heels are included in Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink high versions. I love the convenience of having everything I need for a complete matching outfit in one folder, this is an attractive and very generous prize for sure.

I hope you are all enjoying your weekends, mine involves some freezing temperatures but a bounty of delicious foods from my local farmers market including yummy soup! Twisted End Game Rewards

Hiya everyone! So let's say you complete the Twisted Hunt Fall 2016 and move onto the challenging End Game (landmark provided at the end, I am NOT linking it here and all credits below reflect the main stores of the gift givers) through mysterious mazes...you are probably wondering what happens when you complete the end game. You will wind up in a room with special rewards for free, and a wall packed with amazing gachas in case you are feeling extra lucky at that point. Tonight I am showing you just a small sampling of the many rewards for completing this mighty task, as an inspiration to persist.

This first look is our gorgeous prize from LOMO by IBAN, which is provided in several mesh sizes including standard, a fitted, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Slink Physique. I didn't even initially pick up on how sheer the material is until I realized my panties are visible from behind on the right, good thing I was wearing them :) In case you're wondering, those are the ones from the Slink Physique HUD (the one included with the body itself) where you can choose black, red, or white, and I had chosen the white. 

I wore that dress to have a fun little barbecue, hehe, roasting some of those torturous cubes!! This is the reward from Grogo's Gadgets, simply named Cube BBQ Divination, and it has a land impact of 10. Upon sitting, it will offer to attach something to your avi, that is the stick so click 'yes'. I included a closer view of the roasted cube from it, which is starting to look like a marshmallow on one side there. This is a great way to celebrate having conquered all those cubes!

Lilith's Den has provided this Chakra Pyramid as their end game prize in 3 different versions. I am wearing the AFK Attachment here, and peacefully meditating while floating above one of the cubes. The other two are rezzable, and one seems to have a built in sit pose like this while the other did not. The glass is slightly tinted, and I couldn't help but admire the texture of the woodwork as well.

It is absolutely an accomplishment to get through the entire Twisted hunt and then through the end game, so you deserve this shirt from Roped Passions too! This is the (RP) Divination Womens Survivor Shirt, but never fear; there is a mens version as well. This is included in standard mesh sizes, and I love the design on the back. I wore this with my oft-used Delizio jeans from the Marketplace, details in credits.

I was also quite pleased to see a reward from Rad Designs, because you know I love when my nails get to play dress-up and they can always be counted on for creative mani/pedis. This is their Misty Night HUD and it works for Slink, Omega, and Maitreya, offering 6 colors of the eye-catching pattern that does indeed look like mist in the dark. 

Just to reiterate, I have linked each prize to the creator's main stores, not to the secret location of the end game, because that wouldn't be a very good way to keep the location secret ;) Seriously, I do not advocate cheating and I know that many people worked very hard to provide this challenge to those who appreciate it, and I am grateful that they did.
