Fun With FabFree

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I was in the mood to feel fabulous, courtesy of the many participating designers of FabFree in SL. Their inworld group is free to join, and entitles you to a bevy of wonderful group gifts. I also greatly appreciate being kept up to date on so many sales, events, and special offers as the group and blog have done for my entire time in SL. I have always been a very grateful fan :) Their listing of gifts seems to be constantly growing, with clothing and accessories for men and women as well as some home decor and other special treats. 

My first visit was to GeMyles, where I happily claimed their Natalea Dress & Heels gift by right clicking the sign, paying $1L, and was immediately refunded while the gift was delivered. This versatile look includes the dress in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, with coordinated heels in Belleza, TMP, Maitreya, and Slink High sizing. There is also a HUD provided with 32 solid colors to choose from (tints the entire dress plus shoes all at once) along with 3 patterns each for two sections of the dress, bodice and top ruffle. As always, I suggest having some fun clicking various buttons and seeing what look you create, then adjusting to your tastes. 

For a casual gift with a hippie flavor, be sure to visit Oldurmek & Co. with your FabFree "I am Fabulous" tag active to pick up their O & C Nonee Lounger. It comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, and is a one-piece romper with the appearance of two. Tie dye does make me smile, as you can probably guess if you've read here before :) There is also a male gift at this store, in the very same room, so bring your favorite male friends or grab it for your male alt if you wish.

Vips Creations is ready for business with their FabFree group gift, this striking Laura-Green outfit. The shirtdress has a fitted version for classic avatars, as well as sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies. The matching shoes come in Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink high sizes, and the handbag is provided in 3 different hold pose versions, two of which can be seen above.

'Tis the season...no, not that season, swimsuit season! The current FabFree group gift from -LEIGH- is their Flirty Swimsuit that definitely lives up to its name. The top and bottom are provided in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP versions. There is also a HUD included with 3 color choices, so you can decide what shade of floral pattern you prefer.

My final look of the evening comes from Phoebe, and is a pair of dresses called *P* Olivia Mesh Dresses. There are Summer (left above) and Tropical textures, each in sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes, plus a standard version for classic avatars. I do love halter style dresses, and this plunging neckline is a beautiful detail to show off cleavage. 

It was an adventurous day, but not in a good way. One of my toenails decided to dig in deeper after being trimmed I guess, and this morning I realized it was painful, red, and swollen. The podiatrist's office got me in within less than a hour of calling, and the doctor confirmed it is infected which meant more cutting and two antibiotics (oral and topical). Ugh. I will also be soaking my foot daily until my follow-up visit next week. It was just so sudden, felt fine this time last night, so it was quite a shock. At least I don't have a fever to go with the infection, and we certainly caught it early. Oh well, it could have been far worse and I am following all the instructions to make sure it heals well. Third Life Treats

Hiya everyone! Tonight I will be showing you some group gifts available for the Third Life group, which has a small $10L fee to join to keep us safe from spammers and scammers. There are many participating designers who have gifts set up at their stores for us, and I really enjoy visiting stores that are new to me or that I haven't stopped by in a while. This group has some impressive designers, as you will see :)

My first look this evening comes from LRS Creations, their Diva Jumpsuit B. This skintight halter style jumpsuit includes system/BOM layers as well as appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, and TMP. So whether you're a classic avatar fan, or wear a mesh body that is BOM compatible, or are currently using appliers for your mesh body, there is an option for you. Speaking of options, there are 5 colors to choose from too...I am showing the Green on the left and Pink on the right, with the other colors being Black, Blue, and Red. The lace inset of the bodice is a sheer one, so be sure to keep that in mind when deciding where to wear this.

This is certainly a different look for me, yet I am a fan! It is the gift from Brii Underground called Mirtes Punk Rock Style Complet Outfit, and it is very thorough with clothing and accessories. The sweater and skirt each come in 5 classic sizes and 5 fitmesh sizes for classic avatars, as well as versions for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies. The gloves and pantyhose can each be found inside as system/BOM layers plus Omega appliers, and the aviator sunglasses and high top sneakers are unrigged with resize scripts built in so they are fully adjustable. It may be hard to read because of the lighting, but the back of the sweater reads "Rocker". There is even an Omega applier (not shown) of makeup, so you can even dress up your face to match if you wish.

LEIGH has a seductive treat for us, their beautiful Desired Dress Sequins Gift. It is quite versatile, since it comes in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP bodies. Even more handy is the HUD provided, which has 2 colors plus buttons to adjust the transparency and glow. I added a bit of glow on the left (2%) to highlight those sequins, and added some transparency to the right. I highly recommend playing with these to find the look that suits you best.

Let the sun shine with the Tayla Set from ToG Store! As you can see, it can be worn in a sunny yellow with 2 other options, as the included HUD has all 3 color choices for the top and/or skirt. Mix and match and have fun! The dress itself comes in sizes for eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. The tulip skirt makes me think of flowers blooming in spring and summer too. 

My final look of the evening is the flirty T.B.O.M. Narat Black Casual Outfit Top&Skirt, which you can claim for free at The Best Of Me with that Third Life tag active. Each piece is included in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, and the style is alluring with the barely closed blouse and extra short skirt with tiny side slit. 

It was another stormy day, and somehow not even left over from the tropical storm. It is just going to be like this for a few weeks it seems, but as long as we don't get heavy winds it should be fine. Tomorrow I will have lots more food, thanks to the farmers market I enjoy each Saturday, which makes it less painful that all the food in my fridge had to be discarded from the power outage. TeleportHub Group Gifts

Hiya everyone! For tonight's post, I chose one of the wonderful groups I am in, TeleportHub.com, and decided to share some of the many gifts available for their members. This group has a modest $10L fee to join, which keeps out bots and spammers to keep the rest of us protected. I have been a member for several years now, and have found their website to be a very helpful source of information on happenings in SL. Most of the participating designers who offer gifts are using the frame provided by the group, which has the name of the group on it and a button to join if you are not already a member. I enjoy visiting all the stores and seeing what they have to offer, and it is even more fun when they have a special gift for us just for dropping by. You might also notice I had another mood of wanting to try another hair color, so I am showing some brunette love :) 

This playful look is the [Sexy Princess] gift called Flora Romper Teleport Hub, and I was drawn to the pops of various shade of pink on the denim blue backdrop. It comes in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body versions. The completely bare back means this is is the perfect outfit to wear to show off a new tattoo or just feel cool and breezy this summer.

Next I visited Munereia, where they are offering their VANO top and panty set as a teleporthub.com group gift. Each piece comes in standard mesh sizes along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP versions. There is also a HUD provided with 15 choices each, so you can change the top and panty separately. All of the patterns have cute animals on them, and have a coordinating solid color lace trim.

-LEIGH- also has a stunning gift for us, their Beautiful Dress (Big Floral). It is provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies, with a HUD that lets you choose between 2 colors and adjust the transparency and glow on/off. On the right, I gave the dress a bit of transparency which is most noticeable if you look at the skirt where the background shows through. Sexy!

This dazzling look is the group gift from Nala Design called Estrella Outfit. The top and skirt are each provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and Signature Alice bodies. There is also a HUD included with 14 colors to choose from for each, so you can mix them like I did on the left or match them like on the right. All the shades have a metallic sheen to them, which gives it an extra dashing feeling.

My final look of the evening is a flirty one, the BBK: Tathia Bodysuit White from BouBouKi. It includes Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizing, with a fun strapless style and sheer midriff. The back narrows into a revealing thong, thanks to the extra high cut sides. 

The last thing I expected today was to find a huge hornet flying around my computer room, but that is exactly what happened and it was not fun. I am relieved that my housemate overcame their fears and helped me, because I was scared too. It had started to build a tiny nest inside my window, up where I couldn't see or reach, so that had to be removed too. I am on my first day of an adjusted medication dose, so that is always an adventure too ;) The new doctor actually doubled a dosage, so it will take time to get used to it. Fabulously Free

Hiya everyone! Tonight I was inspired by reading about several new group gifts for the FabFree Group, which is the in-world presence of the FabFree in SL blog. I have been a huge fan of theirs ever since I discovered them, very early on in my time in SL so well over a decade. I have greatly benefited from they information they provide, not just because of the gifts but from learning about new-to-me designers and events or places to visit in SL. For tonight's looks, I visited their group gift listing and went with not the absolute newest but some that I had not shown you yet from longer ago so they could possibly change soon...this way you can claim them before that happens :) Some designers change out gifts more frequently than others, it is entirely up to them so there is no set time like with an event or hunt, so all I can say is that if you see something you like you should not hesitate. 

My first look is the FabFree gift from Northern Sky Creations, called NSC Arrow Tunic. This breezy dress can also be worn as a top if you decide to layer some leggings or jeans beneath, and the pattern is quite eye-catching. Our gift includes fitmesh standard (S, M, L) sizes as well as Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh body versions.

Summer is almost here, although of course you can find any climate you wish in SL so you can enjoy this next gift year round :) It is the Petry Model BIKINI HSDE, a versatile gift consisting of sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. There is also a HUD provided with 8 texture choices, 4 of which are solids and the other 4 patterns, so you can change your look with a quick click.

YM SHOP has their pretty Sloane Outfit as the FabFree gift, and it includes 3 different colors for added variety. The dress comes in what I call the lucky 13 of mesh sizes (5 classic, 5 fitmesh standard, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink) with a cute handbag and a pair of laced up sandals for Slink High (not shown). This gift includes Black/Red, Brown, and White versions.

This tempting dress is our FabFree gift from [Sexy Princess] Called Florine Dress. I love the way it swoops up from the waist, both front and back, like a bra top connected to a tiny mini skirt. It includes sizing for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies.

My final look is a flirty one as well, the Entice Dress (Silk Pattern) from LEIGH. It has a peekaboo waist and slender spaghetti straps, and a fantastic texture. The gift contains sizes for eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, with a HUD offering both colors shown above. Pink and purple are my favorite colors so it will be tricky to decide which to wear first :) The metallic sheen is quite beautiful.
