Easter Joy Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post features some prizes from the Easter Joy Hunt which is part of the event by the same name. There are small stores and carts loaded with sales items for the season, and many have Easter baskets filled with eggs that will distribute a free prize when clicked. I had fun exploring their region which is beautifully decorated with a park so there is lots to see. Easter season feels a little late this year, but I am glad to have such nice additions to my seasonal wardrobe. Just be sure to visit before the 18th when the event ends.

My first look tonight is the adorable Easter outfit from Everything Below $250L. This store is new to me and has a very promising name, so it was a pleasure to check out their display and find this free prize :) The top and shorts are each provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, and Maitreya mesh body sizes. The top combines a playful Easter pattern and intriguing cutouts, while our denim shorts have a string belt built in. I do appreciate a nice casual outfit like this!

Next I changed into the gorgeous Angel Fae prize, called Spring Blush Leather Dress in Mesh. The lovely orchid colored strapless mini includes standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body versions. For even more Easter flair, I added one of the two baskets inside the Silly Husky prize. This is their Bunny Easter Basket v2 (hold/pink), and the other is a yellow version that is equally appealing with a sweet rabbit face and lots of tasty goodies inside the basket. There are even some daffodils to help you celebrate spring :)

It turns out that dress from Angel Fae was helpful in showing off another Easter themed treat. The accessories here are the *MM* Bonnie Bunny Costume - Pink from Mara's Mysteries. The ears have very pretty lace inserts, and the tail is a furry puffball in a soft color that will look terrific with lots of your favorite outfits. Both are adjustable, just right click and edit to move them around if need be.

One of the stores around the perimeter is called Prims Boutique, and they have a couple of free gifts inside that are not in the hunt baskets but still quite easy to find. This is their Happy Easter 2 outfit, system/BOM layers for the tied top and matching capri pants. Also included but not shown are slippers that are designed for the classic avatar feet. The back of the shirt has the same precious bunny with egg image that is on the right thigh of the pants, so we are very well coordinated.

My final look of the evening is a pairing of the two gifts inside the COVETED! Easter basket, which look fantastic together. The Belted Dress Precious comes in sizes for Freya, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. Their matching Fall Pumps Precious are provided in Belleza, Legacy, Maitreya, and Slink High foot sizes. I really like the way the dress has a crossed halter neckline and two round buckles holding things in place, while showing off an impressive amount of leg. 

How was everyone's weekend? Mine was pretty good, and I am glad that April events and hunts are in full swing so I have more wonderful possibilities to share with all of you :) The farmers market was fun, and I was wearing thermal nail polish that changed colors when I was out in the chilly weather so that was amusing. Walking in a Christmas Wonderland

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are taking a look at some more $1L gifts found at the Christmas Wonderland by ..::RR::.. where yesterday's post featured too. There are hunt prizes and lots of gifts for $10L or less, some of which are at the individual displays and some prizes found all around the event area. There are rides and lots of beautiful seasonal decor, so be sure to look around all over and enjoy yourself!

My first look this evening put me in a warm and cozy mood by its style and texturing. It is the *Mara's Mysteries* Roll-neck Sweater Dress - Snowbears which can be yours for just $1L. It is provided in standard mesh sizes as well as eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body versions. There is also a HUD so you can choose from 4 background colors for our adorable bear, who is holding a candy cane and wearing a blue dotted scarf. 

This lovely outfit is the $1L gift from Blackbirdlace called FABIA Cape and Dress by BL. The mini dress and shoulder cape are each trimmed in white fur, with matching white tree outlines on a red backdrop. There are sizes included for each in Alice, Altamura, eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Hourglass, Kupra (Bimbo, Low, Original), Legacy, Perky, and Maitreya mesh body versions. Since they are separate pieces, you can easily wear the dress without the cape or remove it once you arrive at your destination. 

Next we see the ..::RR::.. Christmas Dress Stars GIFT which is their $1L offering among several variously priced gifts at their display. The dress has deep V neckline both front and back, to match the wide slit on the left thigh. The rose gold stars are a beautiful touch and really pop against the black fabric! This would be a perfect choice for something new to wear to your next party or visit to a club.

Summer Is Coming

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post features prizes from the Summer Is Coming Event and Treasure Hunt. They are free and can be claimed by finding and clicking wooden treasure chests at many of the displays. There are an impressive range of designers taking part, so you and your family can find new fashions and redecorate your living space for the upcoming season. 

My first look is the charming Mara's Mysteries prize called *MM* Sarai Springtime Dresses. It comes in sizes for Altamura, eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies. There is also a HUD provided with 10 texture choices, 5 of which are solid colors and the other 5 beautiful florals. The style is really eye catching too, with the fluttery high-low hem and intriguing straps in the back. 

I also found a prize from Freya's Fashions called Kirby Swimsuit (PolkaBrown). This treasure chest will ask for payment of $1L, but it will be immediately refunded while the gift is delivered. It includes system/BOM layers as well as appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, and Slink bodies. One piece swimsuits have just as much potential for sex appeal as bikinis, depending on the design, and I think the chains and thong rear here demonstrate that wonderfully.

I combined two treasures for this look, so let's start with the clothing :) That would be our Cherry Amore Roxxy Lingerie, a bra and panties each in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine body versions. There is also a HUD to show or hide the writing on the elastic. It shows off just enough skin to allow me to share the [SS Creation] Tattoo Timeless Unisex prize. There are system/BOM layers in 50%, 75%, and 100% opacity, so you can decide if you want your ink to look fresh or faded. The abdomen looks like the skin is torn to reveal gears beneath, and both upper arms have artwork in addition to the full back piece. 

My final look of the evening is the daring LM BELLE - Coral from Lilleth Mills. This lace top and satiny skirt are each provided in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Kupra Low, Kupra Original, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies. The color is so pretty, and the sheer top might turn a few heads ;) I would only wear it to places where adult clothing is permitted since it does reveal hints of my nipples, unless you have pasties or shields that match your skin. 

It was a slightly better day here, and my RL is getting a little bit less chaotic. Anything that gets things moving in the right direction for once is a positive thing :) I got a kick out of something that made me smile...right after the lawn was mowed, I happened to be in the kitchen and glanced outside where I saw several birds hopping around excitedly where I guess the freshly cut grass revealed some bugs for their dinner. There were several robins and a pair of cardinals who brought flashes of color to the party. I would have thought the noise would scare them away for a while, but the front yard was still being mowed while they were feasting. Wonderland Treasure Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are headed to Wonderland Beach where there is a St. Patrick's Market and Treasure Hunt until the 17th. That is why I hurried there as soon as I found out, the limited time remaining ;) All other plans immediately change in a case like that, so I began my search for pots of gold containing all sorts of thoughtful treats for all who find them. They are short, rounded, brown, and filled with golden coins, so be sure to check in each storefront and on/near the carts of this event. Now there is also a trivia version of the hunt by A&A hair, so if you click a pot of gold and it asks you a question instead of delivering a gift, you know you found one of those instead. I tried answering in local chat but did not receive anything, so I have no idea if I missed something since I wasn't intentionally working on that one...there are signs with notecards to help you though :) A few prizes were in other objects, like one in a small light green box and another in a pouch that had hovertext indicating there might be a gift inside. My suggestion is to explore carefully and enjoy the lovely scenery while seeing what the vendors have for sale this week. 

My first look is the eye-catching TrendZy Apparel prize called TA Tatiana outfit black and white. It includes the dress in 3 classic sizes (S, M, L) and 3 fitmesh sizes (S, M, L) for classic avatars as well as versions for Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, and Voluptuous bodies. The fingerless gloves come in Maitreya, Ocacin, and Slink versions, while the knee high boots (with fishnet built into the top) are provided in Altamura, BBL, eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. You can wear all at once, or mix them up however you prefer with favorites already in your wardrobe. 

The traditional color for the upcoming holiday is green of course, so claiming this [L.T] Roxy Catsuit - Green from Lori's Threads was not surprising :) It comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizes, with a 9 color HUD for the laces. The scooped sides are a flirty touch, and our catsuit has just the right hint of shimmer to the fabric. 

ATLANTIS DESIGN chose a lovely prize with a touch of green for us, their Fallina 5 sleeveless dress. It is provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. I was drawn to the pointed waistband and the broad stripes, both real attention grabbers. 

This prize feels like spring and St. Paddy's Day to me with that soft background color decorated with 4 leaf clovers. It's the prize from Mara's Mysteries (in a box, not a pot of gold) named *MM* Peggie Shamrock Dresses in 21 sizes. 10 of those sizes are for classic avatars (5 standard and 5 fitmesh) with the others fitting eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. I couldn't resist sharing the rear view too so you can see that cutout and bow in the back.

My final look is a romantic one, thanks to the Clover Babydoll prize from AlmaMiranda. Its camisole and panties are each included in a classic M size as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous sizing. The camisole is partly sheer, and the panties are fairly modest coverage with a cute clover on the front. I decided to accessorize it with the Tastic prize called Music Rocks Necklace-With Hud. This striking necklace has a studded strap with metal chain looped through the end and a beautiful music note pendant dangling from it. The aforementioned HUD offers 6 materials for the strap, and 4 metal tones to choose from. 

It was a long day here, and I am still processing yesterday's bad news so my state of mind is not quite what it should be. Peace On Earth Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have several prizes from the Peace On Earth 13 Hunt to share, and honestly I am surprised it took me until this point in the month to start showing you any ;) The month has been pretty wild of course, but if ever a year needed a little extra peace on earth it would be 2020. This free gridwide hunt has us looking for globes of the earth in each store, by following the hints on their website which also guides us for which stores have had to drop out. There are several "skips" this year because of RL being intense for so many, but you will still wind up with dozens of generous gifts ranging from fashion (mens and womens) and accessories to home decor and more. It is a longstanding tradition in SL that warms my heart each year, and it is a pleasure to introduce you to it or perhaps remind you if you are familiar. 

Feeling cozy is definitely a peaceful feeling, and I am loving this prize from Mara's Mysteries! It is their *MM* Footed Onsies (M&F) "Snowflakes", and there are 5 men's sizes in this globe along with the women's Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body versions. It also contains a HUD with 10 texture options for us, 5 solid colors and 5 similar colors with a seasonal pattern that has candies, snowflakes, and gingerbread scattered about. The black trim appears on the solids and patterns, and how cute is that rear flap? :) I think I am ready to snuggle by the fireplace with Xan.

The globe at Grumble is waiting for you too, with their Christmas Glam-Christmas Dress inside. This chic mini has a gathered hemline and combines bold crimson satin with a green and red print bodice, and check out those crossed straps in the back! This treat comes in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. 

As I sit here singing along with Taylor Swift's version of Santa Baby, this hunt prize seems especially appropriate :) A Wilson's has two gifts inside their globe, and this would be the women's treat called Music Lady II Red with gold music. It comes in 5 standard sizes for classic avatars plus Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies. The fabric has a gorgeous sheen to it, so I am guessing it is materials enabled to help pick up ambient lighting wherever you wear it. 

Prism's gift is the charming Tashia Cocktail Dress & HUD by Jezzixa Cazalet, and I am definitely ready for the holidays in this sexy number! It is provided in 5 standard and 5 fitmesh sizes for classic avatars, plus for mesh bodies there are sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. There is also a HUD with 5 color choices, and a system/BOM layer tintable crotch cover for a bit of modesty. The dark gold shade on the right reminded me of gingerbread, probably because of the white furry trim that would be its icing. All the colors are truly lovely though.

My final look this evening is from the globe at Ink Blots, which contains two prizes like many who are offering male and female gifts. This is their POE13 Sweater Dress Female, and it is provided in fitmesh standard sizes as well as eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine body versions. The heathered color looks like a gray-mauve mix to me, very pretty and suitable for any season. 

It was a typical Sunday here for me, other than a few holiday plans being finalized, and it is looking like Christmas day here will be not only white (snow) but rainy and icy. We still have plenty of snow from the last storm, so that is the silver lining on not going anywhere for the holidays. I will be safely at home, or 5 blocks away at my parents, rather than the 45 minute drive to my grandmother's. I still have a couple of people to get in touch with, but generally things are under control. My stomach is unsettled, which I thought had cleared up after that rough week I had recently, but with a little luck it will pass quickly. Spooktakulum Treasure Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we visit the Spooktakulum event, where there are over 40 merchants taking part to offer seasonal fashion and decor in Autumn, Dia de los Muertos, and Halloween themes. There is also a fun treasure hunt, so nearly every participant has a treasure chest hidden that you can click to receive a free gift. The chest even opens to show a golden bounty when touched :) I enjoyed exploring the shop fronts and carts to find all of them, and got some ideas for a future seasonal shopping trip. The event opened just over a week ago, and is open until the 20th of November so you have plenty of time to visit, hunt, pick up demos, and find Halloween costumes or spooky home decor.

First we have the prize from Moonstar called MESH Boo! Dress and Witch Hat, and it is a perfect nod to the season. The dress comes in standard mesh sizes plus versions for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies. There is also a black modesty butterfly (like panties but no sides) in system/BOM layers and an Omega applier, and of course the matching hat is provided with a built in resize script. You can adjust it as needed to complete your look. There are a few jeweled spiders crawling on it, and one hanging from the tip, but they seemed friendly enough ;) Besides, your dress can keep an eye on them for you?

Autumn is a fantastic part of the theme for this event, so the treasure called Autumn Leaves Bust Harness Mini Dress by COVETED! fits into it beautifully. The warm golden dress is provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes. The leaf pattern is wonderful!

Our prize from [IDA:C] is their Stella Dress - Purple Grapes, and it is a dazzling mini with scattered pearls including a large one adorning the back. It is created for the Maitreya mesh body, and has materials enabled so you will want to use the advanced lighting on your viewer to see it as its finest. There is an extra lights attachment included and I am wearing it here, very subtle and did not wash out my skintone or anything which I appreciate :) The texture really does appear to sparkle!

This cute strapless mini is the *MM* Nanette Spooktakulum Dress from Mara's Mysteries, and is decorated with bats, cats, and jack o'lanterns. The treasure includes Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique body sizing, just find that hidden chest. To add a bit more festivity, be sure to click the SugarBaker's treasure chest to claim their Caster gift, a set of bangles for the left wrist that contain a resize script so you can adjust them if necessary. They are a bold statement piece that will liven up any outfit you decide to accessorize.

My final look of the evening is the daring MadCatCreations prize called MCC - woman - Halloween Lingerie Skull, and it is fully loaded with sexy options. The bra, panties, and garter belt are each included in standard mesh sizes along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP body versions. The matching stockings come in an Omega applier, and the shoes include Belleza, Maitreya, Slink High, and unrigged versions. The riding cloak is a fun addition, in standard mesh sizes plus Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique versions, with a rich crimson outer layer and lined with black and white to match the lingerie. You could try a different pair of shoes or leave off the riding cloak for various looks, and that cloak could easily be paired with other items in your inventory to freshen them a bit.

Peaceful Easy Feeling

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some more treats to show you from the Peace On Earth Hunt 12, ranging from comfy casual to elegantly formal. There is an impressive variety among the dozens of hunt prizes, which can all be found in globes that are textured to look like our earth and distribute a folder for free when clicked. Inside you will find a prize and a landmark to the next stop, and there are hints on the signs (globes act as hint givers) as well as on the hunt's website. This is one of the first gridwide hunts I remember from my earliest hunting days, so that shows how long it has been a welcome tradition :) 

My first look this evening features a hooded sweater from Mara's Mysteries called *MM* Women's Hoodie - Winter Flower. There is a men's version included too, and they both work from the same HUD to allow you to choose from 10 colors of this great knit pattern. The women's sizes include 5 fitmesh standard versions as well as Belleza, Freya, and Slink sizes. As I do quite often, I paired this with one of the Delizio jeans from their marketplace free gift, the black BOM/system layer, but in that gift you will find several colors as system layers plus appliers for Maitreya and Omega. 

Those black jeans were a good choice for this shirt too, the hunt prize from JR Wolf Creations called Marley Tank. The style is a playful one, with double straps and a black ribbon wrapped around as a halter and tied in the front, and the texture has skulls in Santa hats among snowflakes and candy canes. If typical Christmas themes are a bit too cheery for your liking, this might be more to your taste :)

Next I slipped into the prize from Prism, called Rakel Cocktail Dress by Jezzixa Holiday Charm with HUD. This lovely strapless mini comes in 5 classic sizes and 5 fitmesh sizes, ideal for classic avatars as well as some mesh bodies like my Maitreya I am wearing here. The weather was cold but clear, and I scheduled an appointment to get my hair cut next week so I look kinda human when I meet my cousin's new wife ;) Right now I am fighting frizz and overgrown bangs, and some sparkly silver roots. I am randomly craving pad thai, which I usually only get access to on my birthday at the end of January, so I have a long wait. Tomorrow is my usual dinner at my parents', but I have a stop to make first so an earlier start to my busy afternoon and evening. Autumn is a Wonderland

Hiya everyone! Tonight I decided to switch things up, so I headed to the Wonderland Beach for their Golden Autumn Fair which also features a treasure hunt. You can find the treasures for free by clicking the googly-eyed pumpkins (flat prim) which are mostly in plain sight but a few are hidden behind things. I suggest you check out each stall or cart carefully :) There are small buildings around the outer walkway, and lots of carts in the middle area that also have discounted offerings and some gifts too. One of the gifts was in a rounded pumpkin with a black ribbon on it, naturally I can no longer recall whose, but I tend to hover over everything and read hovertext when I am on a treasure hunt which explains how I stumbled across that goodie.

First we see the Lilleth Mills gift called LM ZORA Mini, in a rich suede texture of caramel brown. The gift includes sizes for Altamura, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies.

The dresses are both short and flirty, so even with their differences I am glad to have found both. Another beautiful way to celebrate autumn is with this gift from Kandee's Fashions called Red Fall Dress. It comes in single size that is fitted for Maitreya mesh bodies, and falls above the knee with pretty ruffles in the dip of the neckline. I really like the pattern of vibrant leaves falling and floating in a breeze!

TrendZy Apparel is offering this perfectly themed Gail 1 Mini Dress as their treasure hunt prize. It includes a standard fitted size as well as eBody and Maitreya mesh body sizes, all with orange leaves on a pale peach background. All we need is a neutral pair of shoes and a maybe a favorite necklace or pair of earrings and we're ready to hit the town :)
