FLF-O-Ween Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are heading to the FLF-O-Ween event, brought to us by Fifty Linden Fridays. That means a bevy of $50L bargains at every display from many amazing designers, and nearly all of them have a generous group gift for us. To claim these, simply join the Fifty Linden Fridays group (free to join) and click the pumpkins you see which are either orange, green, or purple. It's like trick or treating :) Their weekly sales are already terrific, and anytime they do an event like this it's always a pleasure to visit.

For my first look of the evening, I combined two sweet prizes :) The top is the Midoa - Beia Black Top, a single strap tank top that fits eBody Reborn, Freya, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, and Maitreya mesh bodies. The simple solid black color is very versatile, so it works well with the _CandyDoll_Malice Pants GIFT. These lace trimmed shorts are decorated with ghosts who are ready for Halloween with costumes and pumpkin buckets. It includes sizes for Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. 

Here I kept the CandyDoll shorts on, but changed into the charming MARU / "Elena" Bandeau / Fatpack gift. This sheer tube top has two slender strings that tie to hold it in place, with two bows in the back and one in the front. There are Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes included, with a wonderful 20 color HUD so you can change up the look.

Entice is offering a delightful sweater dress called Bye Bye Love - Grey as their FLF-O-Ween group gift. It has a heathered texture and a playful crossed bodice, and it comes in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh bodies. I think it will be a cozy choice for this time of year, don't you? We can always layer some leggings under it for those extra chilly days and evenings.

There are several gifts that are separates, either a top or a bottom, so we can mix and match things to suit our personal tastes. For this look I chose the *Vanilla Bae* Tatiana Top - Spider Print FLF Gift to start out. It is provided in PG and adult versions (the adult versions have a 3 step stripping menu) each to fit Belleza Gen X Classic, Belleza Gen X Curvy, eBody Reborn, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. There is also a metals HUD with 7 colors, so you can adjust that aspect too. As for the adorable skirt, that is the gift from .Safira. called Vany Skirt Red. This pretty miniskirt has layers of ruffles and laced up sides, in sizes for Legacy and Maitreya bodies. The provided HUD offers 18 colors for the laces, 8 for the metal, and 18 for the built in panties as well as an "off" option for said panties. I felt like these gifts have a lot in common with the modest or sexy options of each :)

My final look of the evening is a spooky treat from (Milk Motion), their Skeleton dress-purple. It comes in standard mesh sizes as well as a fitted version for classic avatars, and a Maitreya version with autohide scripting. The waist is cinched with an opening that reveals a spine and what I think are glowing gemstones, but at first glance made me think Christmas lights ;) There is a HUD included with 3 color choices each for the corset and the inner lining that is where the gems are. This is an intriguing style combining beauty and spookiness. 

It was a quiet day, and my stomach is calmer so I am feeling a bit better this evening. The next couple of days will be busy so I'm grateful for small improvements :) I hope you're all having a groovy day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

CozyFest is Tops

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are taking a look at some more gifts from CozyFest '22, a Fifty Linden Fridays event whose gifts are for the FLF group. It is free to join and there are gifts at just about every display, in tan giftboxes wrapped in purple ribbon and bow. There is a wide variety among these goodies, lots of home decor as well as fashion and accessories, mostly with a cozy theme in mind which suits this time of year quite well :) I had fun tonight with a lot of the tops, ways to wrap yourself in warmth or be flirty and bring the heat!

First we have the [Cosmic Dust] - Cozy Sweater - Winter Vibes - Pink, a sweet treat with an adorable critter napping on the front. It comes in Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh body sizes, and has a fuzzy appearance from a sheer layer on top I believe. Wearing this has already gotten me a compliment on how cute it is! For this and the next few photos, I am wearing the white pair of Delizio jeans from their marketplace fatpack, a longtime favorite freebie of mine. There are 9 colors in system/BOM layers as well as appliers for Maitreya and Omega. 

My next look offers some good advice, thanks to Nectarine and their Cropped Tee Stay Cozy. The delivery HUD lets you choose from sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, or Petite bodies, delivering just the one you need so your inventory doesn't overflow even more than all these generous gifts are already causing ;) I love the font they used for Stay Cozy and all its pretty flourishes, looking great with the white and teal decorations surrounding it. 

If your weather is chilly outside, try warming things up inside with the [JUSTICE] EMERY CAMI - MINT gift. This fluttery tank top has spaghetti straps and is open just a bit in the front, scalloped trim on each side of that slit. There are sizes provided for Freya, Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, as well as a HUD with 20 colors each for the straps and trim. The strap color you select also tints the bow and its long tails that drape into the opening, so you can come up with some really lovely color combinations.

Another fuzzy looking sweater can be found as our gift from Flora. Their zara sweater comes in eBody Reborn, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes, with a 5 color HUD so you can change the look as I had fun doing. I must admit that in the chilly weather I enjoy wearing masks outdoors to keep my face warm, especially if it is windy, so this fashionable ::C'est la vie!:: Face Mask 02 (Plaid) would be welcome in RL too. It has a resize script built in on touch, and it also includes a HUD with 3 charming plaid prints to match lots of different looks. You can also turn the materials on and off via that same HUD. 

My final look of the evening is our _CandyDoll_Posie Dress Blueroses gift, a very versatile and flirty treat! It includes Freya, Hourglass, Hourglass Petite, Legacy, Maitreya, and V-Tech mesh body sizes, with a generous HUD that lets us choose from 20 patterns and 25 solid colors for the nipple hearts, plus 25 solid hues each for the trim (neck and sleeve cuffs) and zipper in the back. As you can guess, I had a great time experimenting with that HUD and selecting just a couple of looks to share. 

My day was fine until the evening arrived, bringing a frustrating hockey game and then a visit from a stink bug who thought it would be fun to fly into my head several times before landing on my shoulder. If you don't have these pests in your area (lucky!) they are large and loud when flying, and can emit a stinky spray like a flying skunk if scared. Sound fun? *gag* They also smell terrible if you kill them, so my preference is to catch and release outside, except I cannot reach the dang thing right now. Also it's below freezing outside, so not ideal for the bug or for me. They fly like they're drunk, LOL, bumbling around and slamming into things, making more noise than something that size should be capable of. I will be on high alert for the next several hours, flinching at any slight sound or movement. I am anxious by nature, and really dislike these bugs even though they aren't dangerous to humans. My parents get them in their house too, and they scare their cockatiels which adds to my dislike. Oh well, I hope you're all having a decent day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

More FLF-o-Ween Treats

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have more FLF-o-Ween group gifts to share. These are found at the Fifty Linden Fridays seasonal event of that name, and their group is free to join so all of these treats are complimentary all around. We claim them by clicking various colored pumpkins (orange, green, purple) that are carved into jack o'lanterns to celebrate their favorite season. There are clothing and accessories for men and women, along with lots of home decor to brighten your living space. When Halloween and the end of October arrive, the event will close its doors, so be sure to visit before then.

My first look combines a couple of gifts, so I'll start at the top ;) That would be the MARU / "Spooky" Top / Set which consists of pink and white versions of their cleverly crafted tank top, each in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies. There is a HUD with each that lets you hide or unhide the straps, and I have them hidden on the right on the white top but visible in pink to the left. My footwear is also an FLF group gift, the _CandyDoll_ Beatrix Heels Pink. These boots have an inverted cross in the heel, but there are two other aspects that you can hide/show with buttons on the HUD, in addition to choosing from 24 colors for the cross. (I meant to hide the inner cross and show the more solid wedge with cross cutout on the right, but it looks like I forgot to hide the cross inset, sorry!) The boots fit Freya, Legacy, Maitreya, and Slink feet. The jeans are the black pair from the Delizio fatpack that you can find for free on the Marketplace (and here on my blog fairly often) that include system/BOM layers and appliers for Maitreya and Omega in several colors.

[JUSTICE] has a seasonal treat for us called MIA DRESS - CANDY CORN, a tee style with slashed openings on the top and a knotted hemline on the left thigh. The ombre of white to orange to gold does call to mind those multicolored candies you usually only find this time of year. Our gift includes Freya, Isis, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, with a HUD that offers 25 colors for the panties built into the dress. 

For this look I mixed two more generous gifts for a seductive combination. The top is the Asteria "Vixen" Bustier - Purple, included in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, and Maitreya bodies. There is a great HUD too, with 4 metals and 12 colors in 3 textures each for the bra cups (solid, sheer, and embroidered like on the left above). I chose the embroidered lacy texture in a bronze color on the left to match the Cascadel"Patricia" Short-Black which is actually more of a bronze or burnished gold shade. It has sheer fluttery legs attached to the solid V of satin, and is provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, and Maitreya sizes. 

Crosses and bats seem to be a running theme tonight, as I see both on the .Safira. Arwen Dress Grey gift. The cross is supporting the corset-like belt, and the bats are flying all about the starry fabric. The gift includes sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. I felt like I needed a bit of refreshment, so I decided to taste the *Tentacio* Vamp drink with its built in hold pose as you see here. The dark whipped drink has two picks tucked into it, a white bat and a cute ghost that are probably cookies. Goth taste sensation?

My final look this evening is a closeup of the alme. gift I've been wearing tonight, their Mesh Ballerina Nails - Scary Halloween. There are 4 neon designs all on black backgrounds to really show off the glow, and with the provided HUD you can choose individual nails to mix and match the designs. The nails come in sizes for Maitreya, Legacy, Kupra, Belleza, Slink, Signature, and Love Momma, in an unpacker HUD so you only need to click the brand and deliver just the size(s) you wish. I have been noticing that type of delivery HUD more and more lately, and I am a fan of less inventory clutter :) 

It was a quiet day here, not as chilly, and I am already eager for the weekend to arrive. I watched another exciting hockey game, and will be watching random Halloween movies here and there until the end of the month. Happy 15th Birthday Second Life

Hiya everyone! Tonight I am excited to show you some birthday gifts from the SL15B Shopping event, just part of the celebrations for the 15th birthday of our favorite virtual world. There are 4 sims packed full of bargains and special offers, and most of the displays have a free gift waiting for all of us, no group needed. Tonight's looks are from the Aurelian sim, except the hair from Truth which is a half price offer at their setup on the Halcyon location. These are just a sampling of the many treats you can find on this sim, so be sure to explore carefully. Don't worry if the sims are full, you have over a week remaining to visit and the crowds should thin out soon.

My first look may feature a camouflage print, but you will certainly not blend in or be invisible when you wear it. The gift from WILD is their Miss Camo Dress, and it includes fitmesh standard sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. 

Next we have the gift from Valentina E. called Valeria Gown Rose Hazel, and it is provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. The floral pattern looks great against the deep background, and the style is elegant with the hint of a train in the back.

This flirty little number is from Candy Doll, called Ciera White Romper. It comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP, with pretty lace trim and crossed straps in the back. I am also very fond of the tiny flowers scattered about the fabric.

Another generous gift can be found at the ELUSIVE display, and what a sexy surprise it is! This is their Laced Up Dress in a soft pink, and those laced panels on each side really do go up quite far. It comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique, so it is very mesh body friendly. 

For my final look of the night, I paired two presents together that you can easily wear with anything you prefer, to dress the separates up or down and suit your personal style best. The top is [[ Masoom ]] May top Royal, with a dramatic long sleeve on one side and sleeveless on the other. It comes in Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, and has a really interesting texture with hints of lighter blue and I believe it looks to be materials enabled. As for the shorts, they are courtesy of //Ascend// called Lara Fringed Shorts. These are provided in Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, with a HUD included that offers 18 metal colors for the rings and 16 choices for the laces on the sides. On the left I chose silver rivets and blue strings, on the right I randomly went red for both.

Ever have one of those days where all your plans seem to unravel and get changed at the last minute? That sums up my day, and everything I was supposed to do (and needed to do ASAP) got postponed for a week. I am disappointed about it, but as long as my Friday and Saturday plans stay secure I will feel better soon :) Certain things can cheer me up fairly easily, I expect most of us have things like that in our lives to make us smile. Chapter Four Gifts Galore!

Hiya everyone! May seems to be a busy month for anniversaries, and Chapter Four is currently celebrating their 2nd anniversary. If you head over there and join their free group, you can access tons of generous gifts. I'll give you an idea of some of them in this post.

This fun floaty halter top is our gift from LpD called Judy, and is mesh in various sizes. I love the back, this is why I wear so many updo styles because the clothing designers make such great rear views! The jeans are Fishy Strawberry's Moto Jeggings in Ombre 2, you will see Ombre 1 in another photo :) They come in standard mesh sizes and some curvy sizes as well, so you have an excellent chance to find your perfect fit.

Still in the Fishy Strawberry jeggings, ombre 2 still, I am wearing the gift from KITJA with the charming elephant and cute ties. I'm also wearing CandyDoll's lilly earrings, very pretty and will work well with a wide variety of styles of outfits.

In this picture I took the opportunity to show you both styles of jeggings, along with the 2 different hoodie sweaters from /// offbeat ///. I really like both patterns, and the lace texture is marvelous!

We received 9 different umbrellas with an AO from -STEP- so I am showing you two of them here...3 colors (sad blue, sad rust, and sad yellow not shown) each in a plain, hearts like on the left, and rain like on the right for each color. I'm sorry the rain was hard to photograph but if you look closely near my hand holding the umbrella you can see a smidge of blue, and perhaps on the far right side of the photo. You'll see it better in person :)

Meet my new friend Octopulpo! I noticed his face and eyes remind me of Squirt the sea turtle from Finding Nemo :) He hovers and bobs up and down a bit, and also comes with a decor version you can rez out instead of 'wearing' as a companion. He is our gift from Moon Amore. I'd also like to point out my very lovely pink bracelets, which are the gift from [BREATHE] and are shown here in the pink silver versions, but also include the pink gold versions. 

I really feel like we need more group slots, but I've been saying that for ages...I remember how amazing the jump from 25 to 42 felt, let's hope they give us another boost soon!
