More Kiyomizu Prizes

Hiya everyone! Tonight is another collection of hunt prizes from the Kiyomizu Winter 2019-2020 Hunt for you to enjoy. There were a few skirts as prizes, and usually I find a lot of tops with no bottoms so this presented a unique challenge for me :) I headed over to The Free Dove to see if there were any simple shirts that I could wear with the various skirts, and found a set of basic tees from Baby Monkey that were perfect for tonight. I also had fun with some pretty manicures, as you will see too. The hunt is open until the 7th, so you have a few days remaining to find these ninja kitties.

My first look features the hunt prize from KnightDecember which is simply called Maitreya Skirt. It is provided in a single size, and has a high waist with closures down the front that split open about halfway down. The subtle floral pattern is so pretty, and the color feels suitable for year round wear to me. My shirt is the Baby Monkey Baby Tees Basics in black, one of 10 colors that are provided as system/BOM layers and Omega appliers. 

I switched into the white Baby Monkey Baby Tee, which I felt was a better match for the prize from {Akorat} called Winter Skirt. It also comes in a single Maitreya size, and has a pretty combo of red and white as it flares out into a short ruffle. I really like the white stitching that appears to connect the two sections. 

Back in black, the Baby Monkey tee that I chose to wear with this skirt that is :) The prize is from Magnolia and is their Winter Skirt. It comes in a single size that is not labeled but did fit my Maitreya body quite well. The black and red plaid looks wonderful with the golden trim, and would look nice with so many different types of tops.

The designers taking part in this hunt do tend to favor the Maitreya brand, not just for its body but for the hands as well. This manicure is compatible with the Maitreya hands, and is our prize from KoCha called Nail Flower Christmas version. Just click the button on the applier and it automatically gives you this mix of two designs on the nails, both in red with lighter pink tips. They are creative and very nicely done :)

My final look of the evening is the hunt prize from <ooSiki> called Bento Nail // New Year 2020 Hunt. They are not appliers, but the nails themselves, so please use your Maitreya HUD to hide their built in nails (the square with the slash through it among the shape/length choices) and then add these. 2020 is the Year of the Rat, and if you look closely at the middle fingers there is a very cute rat on them :) The red, gold, and white colors are really fun for New Year's too, but doesn't need to be exclusively for it. 

It was a fairly quiet day here, since I don't really do anything special to celebrate New Year's Day anymore. Until about 10 years ago, my parents had always done a big ham dinner with friends and family, but it became difficult for everyone to attend and just fell by the wayside. I miss the chance to see everyone, but not all the rest of the fuss, so that leaves a peaceful day of relaxing I suppose. Tomorrow I have the appointment to get this stupid filling replaced for the 3rd time, so no post tomorrow night. Fingers crossed that this time the filling decides to stay where it belongs! Hiya everyone! Tonight I have more terrific selections from The Wash Cart Sale and its Sizzling Summer round to show you. The carts are loaded with items for $10L - $25L, with a $50L special (optional) and there are clothing, accessories, home decor, and much more for the whole family. I am also sharing a few more prizes from the Kiyomizu Summer 2019 Hunt, which is only open for a few more days so you will want to hurry and find those ninja cats with their free gifts.

Our first looks are from the ML Fashion cart at The Wash, just a couple of their many offerings this round. On the left you can see the $10L Top & Skirt Small Hearts Red, which includes two versions of the skirt (with and without hearts) and the top each in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, and standard sizing. On the right I am wearing the Minidress Outfit w/Rainbow Materials Blue, one of the $25L selections from the cart. The dress is provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique, with matching gladiator sandals in the same sizing. These charming strapless dresses are both from the Dream Factory cart at The Wash, and are among the $10L selections there. The cutie on the left is ~DF~ Dress Heart, with ~DF~ Dress Unicorn on the right. Each come in sizes for Altamura, Freya, Isis, Venus, Eve Pulpy, Eve Slim, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP. There are other varieties on the cart, and some flirty 'wet' clothing selections too. Over to the Kiyomizu Hunt, we next visit **milky-way to claim their *19-05 Micro top and Pants-* from their hidden ninja kitty. The top and shorts each come in sizes for Hourglass, Physique, and Maitreya mesh bodies, and the color of the top matches the belt attached to the shorts perfectly. How cute are those birds on the shorts? It reminded me of the Partridge Family, which is slightly before my time but I saw reruns somewhere :)

This lovely kimono style dress is the prize from Shiorin's Mart, named =CS= Mesh China-Dress TC"Phoenix"(Lara). The Lara refers to Maitreya Lara body, which is the single size provided, and it includes a HUD with 3 color choices that all have that striking design on it. The color not shown is red, particularly a nice choice for a phoenix. 

My final look of the night combines two hunt prizes, since one is a top and the other a pair of shorts :) The top is the {Akorat} Summer! Tubetop, which comes in Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya sizes. There are tiny stars and anchors on it, with a nearly bare back thanks to those double rows of slender straps. As for the shorts, they can be found in the kitty at Crystine and are simply named Denim Shorts (Pink). They are included in Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, and have been carefully textured with all the seams and details typical for denim. Each of these gifts can be worn with anything already in your inventory, if pairing them together doesn't quite float your boat. They are versatile and cute for the summer.

Is it bedtime yet? Sorry, LOL, it was a full day and I am definitely tired as a result. My parents still don't have a working grill, so we did another mock BBQ with typical foods but cooked indoors. It is worth noting that typical for my family is not what most people would choose...turkey burgers, chicken hot dogs, rotisserie chicken, sweet Italian sausage, homemade potato salad, and corn. I was mostly interested in the chicken :) There have been a lot of fireworks despite the downpour, so it has been loud and boisterous in my usually quiet neighborhood. Kiyomizu Celebration

Hiya everyone! If you haven't visited the Kiyomizu LB Bon Dance yet, you have a few more days to enjoy the celebration and win some lucky board prizes. The idea is fun and simple, just click on a dance pad and after 2 minutes of dancing around in a circle while enjoying the music, you are eligible to click any of the surrounding lucky boards that have your initial or a wild card (?) showing. They offer clothing, accessories, decor, and more from the Kiyomizu Mall vendors. Behind them in the displays are plenty of items for sale as well, so you can shop for bargains while dancing and waiting for your letter to appear. Tonight I have a few prizes to show you from the many possibilities that await.

My first look is from **milky-way called Ribbon Dress - Sky with a soft cloudy pattern and that sweet bow adorning it. This comes in standard mesh sizes, I did just fine with them and my alpha HUD for my Slink Physique body. The clouds really make me smile, looks like a clear and cheery day.

I pulled together another terrific look for summer by combining a clothing prize and a jewelry prize. The outfit is the JANE kingyo bra, water blouse, and skirt, which each are provided in standard mesh sizing. The sheer blouse shows off the fun koi design beneath, but feel free to leave it off if you choose. The necklace and matching earrings are courtesy of GJK called Shell, and they do have a delightful pearly texture. 

Hapi*Rabi has this adorable Laurie dress as one of the prizes in their lucky board, and since it made me think of sunny days and picnics I thought this would be a nice time to also show you the {Akorat} Icebar mango, doesn't it look delicious? You don't even need to unpack it, just add and it appears in your happy avatar's mouth.

Another wonderful dress and another yummy frozen treat! The dress is our lucky board prize from Le muguet, their off-shoulder mini dress in two fitmesh sizes. One has alpha built in for the Maitreya body, I am wearing the other and it looks terrific. I love the style as well as the scattered petals. As for my adorable snack, it's called Cute Ice Cream chocolate and there was no landmark or store name inside. whoever is responsible for this cutie I am grateful, it has an animation built in and is precious.

Finally I thought you might enjoy a closer look at the nails I also won on their lucky boards :) These are by [C.H.L.O.E.] and are called Polka Dot Nails PINKxBLACK and include HUDs for Slink and Maitreya. I have always liked the combination of pink and black, so I appreciate this prize very much.

I got my hair cut and colored today, my usual auburn and a simple trim, but it is a relief to feel like it just might behave better now. I am not a product junkie, and wasn't all that thrilled when she commented that you don't need much of this styling cream... *squirts at least 3-4 tablespoons into her hands*...my hair was crispy so I had to rinse it out when I got home. Still don't know if I'd like said product in a reasonable amount, but I will do some research. Oh well, I hope you're all enjoying your day/evening, magical magpie hugs to each of you!!

Steamy Saturday

Hiya everyone! It was a scorcher out today, but there is something hotter to find in SL, and that is The Wash Cart Sale. There is still time to visit and snap up the incredible values, and so much variety to be found there for any age or gender, $10L or less. Meanwhile I am still having a great time with the Kiyomizu Hunt, finding well hidden and sometimes tiny ninja kitties. So much to see, let's get started!

My first look of the night is a long flowing dress from the Lilbit Sass cart at The Wash, their Josie Maxie in Pansey. It is provided in plenty of mesh sizes, including 5 standard, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions. There are several other selections at their cart as well, just $10L each, well worth a visit. Their mainstore can be found here, cart direct link is in the credits below as usual.

If you are looking for a dressy gown in eye-catching patterns, head to the XiuXiu cart for their Mandala Gown in 7 different exotic prints. On the left I am wearing Moon and on the right you see Sky, each in standard mesh sizes and a mere $10L per design. I love the color coordinated scarf draped on the back, and I am partial to the peacock feathers in the print on the right. No main store at the moment, but I will update if I find out anything further.

I have been finding some really cute prizes in the Kiyomizu Hunt, for example this playfully cute waitress uniform from #35 SHOP KERO. The dress is included in several fitmesh sizes including standard, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink, and let's not forget the matching cap that is provided as well. Best of all, a texture HUD for 29 options including 8 smaller plaids, 8 of the wider plaids, and the rest are various solid colors while the collar and apron stay white. Apparently I am on a break from waitressing, and enjoying the refreshing prize from #28 {Akorat}. This is their Ice lolly-strawberry and looks so delicious! Just add and it will show up in your mouth, adjust if necessary, and enjoy a summery treat with no calories.

#42 in the hunt path is a store called Seeya, and this adorable herbtea dress is their prize. They have provided it in size XS only, but it fit me pretty well when lately I have been leaning towards a S or M size. The soft colors and off the shoulder design are lovely, and the frills are a sweet touch.

Finally, a better look at my dainty nails :) Tonight's manicures are from the Wash Cart Sale, found on the [new.monday] cart, named Vintage Flowers for Slink nails. There are three designs on the HUD in pretty pastels with such beautiful bouquets on each nail, it is hard to resist. I had a fun day visiting my usual farmers market, however I slacked on the sunscreen and am feeling like I got too much sun. I'm one of those people whose natural skintone is paler than pale, like I was born to be goth LOL, and must be cautious about sun exposure. Kiyomizu Hunt Time Again!

Hiya everyone! First of all I'm sorry for not posting yesterday, but everything is fine and I'm very excited to be able to share goodies from one of my favorite seasonal hunts, the Kiyomizu Summer Hunt :) I blogged the spring version of this hunt when I first started blogging. I'll offer the same advice now that I did then, since this hunt is a bit different...some of the prizes are at the Kiyomizu Mall, but some stores put their hunt gift at their main store instead, and the best way to get landmarks is to click one of the large boxes hanging above the streets. Go to the website it directs you to, which is a personalized list (with SLURLs) of the cats you've found and the ones you haven't yet. Oh, did I mention you're looking for ninja cats? :) This round it seems to have a name, Nonno, on the posters. Some of them are TINY hidden as well as any ninja could, hehe, others are flattened and hiding behind things like walls...if you're good at finding things in wireframe that's another useful suggestion. Anyway, let's look at some of the prizes!!

This adorable one-piece romper is our prize from **milky-way (#6) and comes in just the one mesh size shown. The lace edging really complements the delicate floral pattern.

Next we have a dress with a bit of a surprise ;) This is our prize from Hi's, #34 in the hunt, and is called Behind String Dress. It comes with a HUD to change among 4 colors, and I was quite amused when I realized the reason for the name! Glad I was wearing pretty underwear for another gratuitous bum shot rear view with extra view. If you aren't wearing your own panties, the back of this is completely bare other than the ribbons holding things together. I think any pair of panties or bikini bottom you like will do the trick if you want to add some modesty.

For this sweet dress that includes a HUD for both color options shown, you'll want to visit Pulcino and find their ninja cat #18. Each pattern for the ETSU Resort Dress has subtle crochet lace, with a faint plaid design happening as well. Very interesting and unusual :)

Isn't this outfit the cutest? :) This is prize #53 in the hunt, from Karin, and is a one piece mesh shorts and tank set in standard mesh sizes. Love the paw prints trailed down the back and across the front. I accessorized with one of the necklaces from Akorat, #37, their tube pendant in red. A blue version is also included, so it can add a special touch to so many of your favorite outfits.

Last but certainly not least, we have some fantastic daisies on two different prizes. The lovely blue romper is prize #10 from Hapi*Rabi, a one piece mesh in standard sizes with attached belt. In a fun coincidence, #11 M.I.X. is offering the lovely (and matching) gift of a Gerbera headband that can be adjusted to fit on your favorite hairstyles.
