Hiya everyone! Tonight we've got another fantastic event to visit, the Slay vs Sleigh from TSS (The Saturday Sale). Come get festive, fierce or both! There are seasonal discounted offers as well as year round ones, and some are Goth flavored, so there's an impressive variety for this time of year. As I'm sure you have guessed, there are also group gifts for the TSS group, in gift boxes of red, green, or black. They are the long flat type that you might use for clothing, which amused me because that is my focus here as usual :) Since many gifts are Christmas themed, I do suggest you get there quickly, although it is open until the 3rd of January.
For my first look of the evening, our [simpleCUTE] Christmas Cutie gift really caught my eye. It has the most adorable knit pattern on the skirt layer, Santa and Ho Ho Ho against a black background to really pop. The bright red short sleeved top layer is the perfect red to match Santa's hat, and these are linked together to wear all at once in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. I really like the way the skirt has straps that remind me of overalls but thinner, curving around the chest to help accentuate it. The skirt has fun little ties on each side too at the hem, just another charming detail :)
I just realized that I'm humming "Blue Christmas" because of the lovely [Flaneur] Evalia Dress Sky gift :) I have also spent the last few weeks listening to holiday music that has included several versions of the song of course, but the stunning color of this dress is certainly an inspiration. There are sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies included. The neckline frames the cleavage and would show off your favorite necklace quite nicely, don't you think?
I really hope you're using a PBR-compatible viewer, so you can appreciate The Frostbound by Axolotl PBR "Pine" gift as I surely do. It has soft fleecy looking fur on the collar and cuffs, with abstract stitching on the shiny fabric. We receive Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu sizes of the dress, with similar sizes (Lara X, Legacy, Reborn) of a C-string or crotch covering. There's also a HUD with 3 colors for the C-string, so we can change the look of it if we wish.
Next I paired two gifts for a playful combination that I am really enjoying. The top is our SNS GOTH CHRISTMAS TOP GIFT from Sugar & Spice, the ideal choice for when you want to watch Nightmare Before Christmas or just want to mix holiday spirit with something moodier. It fits Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu bodies, and the design has ornaments like skulls, tombstones, and red bats. As for the skirt, that would be the [FLIRT] Milana skirt-fatpack gift, a wonderful miniskirt with high waist and softly ruffled hem. My final look of the night is also going to be in my year-round fashion rotation because it's just so gorgeous! The Blackstone - Brielle Set PBR - Green gift is looking more of a bright teal blue in my lighting, but that is part of the fun of PBR I guess :) The halter top has a sweet bow on the back, and the knee length pencil skirt is zippered up the back with a HUD that lets us pick from 6 metals for that zipper. It was a much more peaceful day here, and I mostly caught up on sleep (it wasn't as restful sleeping at my parents' Friday night because I'm not used to hearing their grandfather clock chiming every 15 minutes, etc.) and prepared for the group therapy session tomorrow evening. I usually write down notes about my outings and stressors, which could have filled an entire sheet of paper this time. Things are okay though, and it could have been far worse so I am grateful that things worked out decently. The SL holiday season is still a wild one, and I have no idea yet what I'll be sharing tomorrow since there are probably dozens of possibilities yet :) I hope you're all having a pleasant day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!
