Have a Holly Jolly Christmas
Hiya everyone! Tonight's post brings glad tidings, well it certainly brings news of wonderful bargains from The Wash Cart Sale and their Winter Wonderland round :) You have over a week left to visit, and I still have plenty of lovely $10L or $50L specials to show you from the dozens of carts there. I also have more Disgruntled Elf Hunt prizes to share, not just because it is a holiday about sharing but because they are fantastic and free when you find the hidden gift boxes at each store. Their website will help you with hints, landmarks, and information on if the prizes are male, female, unisex, or if there are multiple boxes to find at a particular stop. The hunt runs until the end of the month, so just about a week remaining.
My first look this evening features two of the selections from the -CroM- cart at The Wash, their Coryna - Christmas on the left and Shelena - Christmas on the right. Coryna comes in standard mesh sizes along with eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine, with a HUD that offers 2 color choices (the one not shown is red). The snowflakes and the color options are nods to the holiday, and the bare shoulders give a playful feeling. Shelena is a cropped hoodie with a familiar snowman face peeking from the shirt layered beneath, included in fitmesh standard sizes as well as Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions. Our next stop at The Wash is the Sweet Willows cart, for several cozy offers and even free gifts. These pajamas are the (SW) Gingerbread PJ's Onesie on the left, (SW) Plum Plaid PJ's Onesie on the right, each in sizes for Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique, all with those peekaboo toes. There are other versions available too, just $10L each, and the gifts I mentioned include the My Little Reindeer who is seated on my head on the left, plus 3 candy stick mouthies like the one I'm enjoying on the right. Those are like candy canes without the curved part, in red/green/white stripes, red/white, and green/white. Next we have some hunt prizes, starting with the Applique` Chic outfit DEH Jolly Sweater & Leggings. DEH stands for Disgruntled Elf Hunt, and the gift box you will find there contains the sweater and two pairs of leggings- solid and patterned as shown above. The sweater comes in sizes for Small, Medium, Large, Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous, while the leggings are sized for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, and 5 classic sizes. The patterned leggings have the same tiny dots as the sweater, and the solid carry over that lovely blue background shade.
Cats n' Kittens Boutique has a special gift for us in their gift box called Happy Holidays Dress, and as you can see it has a little bonus as well. The flirty dress comes in sizes for standard, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine, and the festive Santa hat is included too. The green bows on each gathered hip and the red bow on the front of the hat's trim caught my eye as being very complementary.
My final look of the evening is one of two prizes found at Fukin Cute, and the store name could easily describe this FC Aurora Sweater Red. It comes in sizes for standard, eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. How fun is that ombre knit, and the snowflake-adorned lace? The other gift box contains a treat for the guys, so bring your favorite male avatar wearers and help them find their present too. My jeans in this photo and my first one this evening are my favorite Marketplace gift from Delizio, seen here in blue but they come in several different colors as system layers, Maitreya appliers, and Omega appliers too.
The cooking for Christmas Eve is done, the shopping for people I'll see in the next two days is complete and wrapped and ready to go...I am feeling festive and excited, yet a bit anxious about the traveling and a few family details. Holidays tend to have good and bad aspects, and all we can really do is try to focus on the pleasant parts I suppose :) I will be spending all of tomorrow day/evening with family, as well as Christmas Day, so I will not be blogging the next couple of days but would love to take this time to wish all of you who celebrate it a fantastic Christmas. It means the world to me to have this opportunity to blog and share things with my fellow Second Lifers, and I hope you all have a very happy holiday no matter what you celebrate...Yule, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or simply another week of this wild life we all share :) Many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!
