Hiya everyone! This event focuses on original mesh creations and the talented folks who bring that skill to SL, and it is an incredible accomplishment to have done so for 14 years and counting.
We start with the flirty Faida - Christine emerald gift, in a shimmery green that really catches the light beautifully. There are sizes for Khara, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Momma, Prima Busty, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, along with a HUD to turn the holes (more like the fabric between the holes?) on and off. It's on for the left side of the photo and off to the right, and I wound up adding a little modesty flower on the right because it was baring more than I expected ;) That white flower is something I added to the image in Photoshop and is not part of the clothing or in SL whatsoever.
Another irresistible gift I just had to share is the LEROY - Yasmin Outfit [Gift]. Maybe it's the dreamy pink hue, or perhaps it's the style of the corset and skirt, but I am captivated! Both pieces are designed to fit Lara X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The corset is tied in the back with the sweetest bow, and the scalloped layers on each side of the skirt are noteworthy because they reminded me of feathers and therefore wings :)
Some of our gifts are separates so I get to play around with various combos like this one. I started with the [Have Unequal] Jasmine Top, which is an eye-catching teal halter with three sections down the front that are laced loosely. There are Lara X, Petite X, Lively, Nhuma, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes included. Our Chelsea Pants - FaMESHed Gift from *JustBECAUSE* look terrific in dusky light blue, with a sleek fit that flares slightly at the ankle. These are provided in sizing for Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn bodies, and are a versatile color and fit.
I kept those lovely pants on to share another shirt here, the Belle Epoque - 14 Top - GIFT. It's such a great way to honor the 14th anniversary, and maybe your lucky number is 14 or it's a special day for you too. I'd even wear it to honor a hockey player who sports that number :) This playfully cropped tee is tied on both sides, and will fit Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. Wear it with your favorite jeans, shorts, or skirts instead if you wish - there are so many possibilities.
My final look this evening brings us back to one of my favorite colors, thanks to our No.12 Apple Blossom / Emily II gift. Apple Blossom has rebranded as Blossie, and are in the process of reopening their shop in a new location. But meanwhile we get to appreciate their charming short sleeved dress with bold side opening to the skirt (C-string or panties strongly suggested) in a bubblegum hue. There are sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies provided.
I'm somewhere between fuming and pouting over a hockey game, when in reality I know that my team is outmatched in this series and I should be grateful that we even got this far. I am, I promise, just sore about losing in overtime after drastically outshooting our opponents. My stomach sounds like it's trying out for sound effects for a horror movie, LOL, and I need it to calm down because I'm going at least 3 places about 12 hours from now. That adventure is why I'll be taking the evening off from blogging again, lack of time to prepare the photos and notes and such.
