Hiya everyone! Tonight we are making like ninja turtles and exploring the SL Syndicate sewers :) Their 8th annual Scoop N Score sales market and hunt is here, and the hunt is entirely free with no group needed. However, it will take some time and patience, LOL, as you'll be searching for poops in a twisty maze of sewer pipes. Yep, you read that correctly - poops like the famous emoji 💩. 4 versions representing a family of turds with faces and tiny legs :) Some have been named with such clever puns or commentary on where they're hiding, I am guaranteed to laugh my way through it. Xan and I spent about 3 hours on this, and I'm so grateful for his assistance! As for the prizes, there are over 200 so that's a lot to be thankful to the designers for of course. They've put such effort and creativity into this adventure, and I look forward to it each year :) The website had a bit of a technical hiccup but there is a primfeed post with the list of designers and how many prizes they've each hidden, a handy guide to ensure you find them all. This post is definitely a part one, as there are so many wonderful treats to show you.
I randomly chose the beautiful +CHANDRA+ Persephone Dress prize as my first look of the evening. This flirty latex gown comes in sizes for Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies, along with a HUD that lets us select from 10 great colors. I always appreciate when a dress or outfit looks as stunning from the front or the back, don't you? That way people can miss you when you go, but enjoy watching you walk away ;)
I do adore Web Dew and their creative styling, so the ::WD:: Set Faye - Jade prize is a must-share. It's got summery, tropical vibes that are perfect for this time of year. We receive the bra, panties, and pareo (skirt) each in Freya, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizing, along with floral brooches for the chest and each ear, and an unrigged hairpin to match. The main HUD offers 10 colors for the flowers in 5 different sections (or all at once) and when you choose a number it'll make the actual clothing glow brighter where you are tinting :) Very cool touch, making it mistake proof and extra fun. There is also a transparency HUD for the pareo so you can turn it solid, sheer, or off completely.
One of the lovely prizes from The Muses is this Sommeil Outfit - Red. It consists of the top and pants (separately) in sizes for Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies. The top frames our cleavage beautifully, then changes to sheer lace as it flows to an inverted V hem. I love the loose fitting pants that fit perfectly beneath, but can also envision wearing BOM leggings beneath for a change of pace from time to time :)
Not all of the prizes are poop-themed, LOL, but a few are at least in name. Blue Blood - Dreaming Dress Poopie Brown is one of those, and one of 3 treats from this particular store. I actually see it as more of a chocolate or coffee hued suede fabric, and I was impressed by the belt and seams that accentuate the bust very nicely. Find this poo and you'll receive Legacy, Legacy Perky, Legacy Petite, and Reborn mesh body sizes of the dress.
As for my final look of the evening, that would be the RSStore Comfy Sweat [Black] which really is a cozy and flirty style :) That is all one piece so easy to wear, in sizing for Legacy and Reborn mesh bodies. There's an enclosed alpha HUD too, so we can click to hide the pants, sweater, belt, or body. I tilted my head like a confused pug at that point, LOL, not seeing a belt around my waist, but upon clicking I realized it was hiding the straps at the top of the bodysuit portion. I was going to hide the sweater for the rear view, but then I saw how cute the back was and could not bring myself to do it. So versatile!
How was everyone's weekend? Mine was pretty good, and I was relieved to get to the farmers market before the rain started. A former vendor (a chef from Thailand) was there to meet with someone who was buying equipment she'd left behind, so I am assuming that she is not returning as she initially hoped :( I did get to spend lots of time petting the Boston terrier I see almost every week there, as he was in a snuggly mood and just soaks up all the attention and affection like an adorable sponge. I adore him, as you can tell :) I've had a good time with my cozy games too. Well, I do hope you're all having a pleasant day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!
