Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm starting my weekend with several terrific gifts from *BSASSY*, because being sassy (not to be confused with mean or rude) is a fun frame of mind for SL. I chose my first look with Memorial Day weekend in mind, even though it's the *BSASSY* JULY 24 GROUP GIFT SWIMWEAR that was probably meant for 4th of July celebrations. The summers in the USA are filled with reasons to wear red, white, and blue :) This gift includes the swimsuit and a shine layer which gives an animated sparkling appearance, each in sizes for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. Most people consider bikinis to be the sexy sister of swimwear, but this one-piece is smokin'! The gold chain that drapes around the neck and waist to connect in the center along the cleavage line is a fantastic touch.
This lovely dress makes me want to go dancing :) Our *BSASSY* GROUP GIFT DRESS APRIL 25 has a baby blue floral pattern, fluttery hem ruffle, draped bodice, and a slender tube bra attached to keep it all in place. We receive Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu sizing, along with a HUD that offers 2 metals for the clasp. I'm also very fond of halter style necklines, so I'm just loving everything about this little beauty.
I had to laugh because I didn't set it to make this an all-blue post, yet inexplicably my random selections are really leaning into an accidental blue theme :) I'm not mad at it, just surprised. The *BSASSY* APRIL 26 GROUP GIFT JEAN SHORTS AND TOP is a perfect choice for the warm weather we've been having, and I will always say yes to denim. Each piece will fit Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. Again we've got a fun floral to catch my eye too, and those low rise jeans shorts have just the right amount of fraying on the hem for that comfy lived-in appearance.
*BSASSY* AUGUST 2025 GROUP GIFT TOP AND PANTS is in a shade of blue too, but a deep navy that has me thinking of midnight. The short sleeved crop top and flared pants with lace from the knee down are each provided in Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes. This left me wondering if I have a matching necklace and belly piercing set, or maybe a belly chain in the same metallic hue as a bracelet or earrings. Accessorizing can really bring out our creativity :)
For my final look of the evening, I shimmied into the *BSASSY* JAN 26 GROUP GIFT OUTFIT, which I think is going to knock your socks off ;) Would you believe that this entire outfit is all one piece, from the top to the shorts to the fishnets and ankle boots? In RL this would take a heck of a lot of shimmying to get into, LOL, but we get to get dressed with just a couple of clicks. There are sizes for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Nhumana, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, plus a HUD with 3 metals for the belt buckle. This is one of those looks where I may not know yet where I'll be wearing it, but I am certain that it will be somewhere fun!
So usually the farmers market I go to every Saturday sends an email out on Friday with a list of vendors and their specials, and I did receive that earlier so I thought we were good to go. A few hours later, the owner sent out another email to tell us it's cancelled 😵. Really? The reason is rain; not a thunderstorm or even high winds but some light rain. I'd like to point out that these are small businesses who show up, after spending the week obtaining ingredients and preparing foods, so that is who his decision is hurting. In this economy, we don't make people waste ingredients! I am mad on their behalf and not just my own, although of course I'm disappointed that I won't get to see some of my favorite people this weekend, and a dog or two ;) At least dinner was nice, and I have some leftovers to enjoy tomorrow.
