Palomma Plaza Presents

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I decided to visit Palomma Plaza, not the Doves Dream event (which is still going until April 10th) but the wonderful main location itself :) There are group gifts from dozens of generous designers, many of which are familiar brands from the prior Free Dove and just generally well known top designers. The quality of these gifts is also fantastic, and there are treats for men and women encompassing clothing, accessories, hair, and much more. As I've mentioned many times here, Palomma Plaza is in memory of Palomma Casanova who was the heart of The Free Dove and Dazzle/Bundles event during her long tenure in SL. When she passed away, many of us were heartbroken as she was such a kind and friendly person, and her spirit will always be a part of SL. My first look this evening is the flirty *Ydea Style* Summer Green set gift. Isn't it a lovely color? The top, skirt, and panty are all provided in sizing for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. They layer so nicely together, and I think it's a great look for spring too.

The *Ydea Style* Summer Dress Bleu also made me smile, thanks to the feathery skirt and the gold chains holding the bodice in place. It's all one piece, in Gen X, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes. The satin of the corset style top is delightful too, as is the rich blue shade.

Next I slipped into the *Ydea Style Summer Marine Set* which is also completely free with the group tag. There are Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn sizes included, and the top and skirt are separate pieces so you could pair them with other items in your wardrobe if you wish. The top has a fun watercolor or tie dye type texture, repeated on the waistband of the short skirt. I immediately made a connection between the opening on the bodice and the ones on both thighs, just bringing on all the sexiness! 

At the neighboring display, you get to pick up this charming 1 Hundred. Feelin' Fine. Mint gift as one of three available at the moment :) The strapless top, unique skirt, and panties are each created to fit Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, and go together seamlessly to give the appearance of a daring dress. The stripes and soft colors definitely make me think spring or Easter, probably from seeing so many decorations lately. 

One final look, this is the playful 1 Hundred. Say it Mini outfit that is bound to be an instant warm weather staple in many wardrobes. It's got a hot pink bikini top, denim skirt, and panties that are all included in Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya sizing. There are lots of saying on the skirt, like "Self Love" above the right front pocket, "Be True" and "Lil Hottie" beneath that, and "Always FUN" on the other side. Turn around and you'll see Hottie emblazoned across the rear left pocket :) By the way, who was shooting pink paintballs at us?

My weekend was pretty good overall, and I must say that Xan and I did a kick-ass job working together to solve an escape room over at MadPea :) Their free 3 months access to their games is coming to an end soon, so we've been trying to do what we can when time permits...but it hasn't been permitting much...RL does that sometimes. We did Escape The Deadly Dungeon, and I'll just say that we got all the achievements including the various ways to die. Something kept getting me and making me say very bad words, lol, but I definitely had fun and got to use problem solving skills and flex some puzzle muscles that don't often get workouts. Therapy was productive and much better than last week, and I have a medical appointment (podiatrist) tomorrow that's got me anxious AF but we'll see what happens. Maitreya Shoppers Group

Hiya everyone! Tonight we are exploring the Maitreya Shoppers group, visiting some of their participating stores and looking for gifts for this group :) The Maitreya Shoppers group is currently free to join, and I am (obviously) a big fan of this type of multi-designer group for providing information on sales and special events, plus gifts from time to time. It brings together lots of talented creators to share this info, so we are able to stay informed and always get these fun scoops. 

My first look of the evening is our T.B.O.M. Flower Pink Outfit Dress With Boots gift from The Best Of Me. The dress and heels are each designed for Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies. I really like the way the floral design appears on both, really tying them together, and the peeptoe boots that are buttoned all the way up are such a playful style. The dress is extra short with a slightly bared back to add to the flirt factor.

It's time for a bit of 'peekabooty', thanks to the .::PC::. Back Laced Dress "Sayana" - White/Rose treat from PiNK CHERRY. It clearly lives to its name with the revealing rear view, and I love the deep pink and white patches stitched together to create the dress. It comes in sizing for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies.

Spells & Charms can help you get ready for a sexy weekend with their {S&C} Florie Dress (fatpack) gift. This strapless mini has a very unique neckline with scalloped edges to match the hem, and is designed for Alice, Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. There's also a HUD included, with 6 lovely floral textures for us to select from. 

My final look of the night is our Lara AC Dress KIKI GIFT Orange. This vibrant halter mini has straps that cross both front and back, with a low V waistline that I believe is called Basque. There are sizes for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies included, so I changed into my Lara X body here from the 5.3 original Lara I'd been sporting. They seem to have redesigned their store recently, so if you do not land in front of the gifts you can just use the teleporter to the gifts section :) 

It was a decent day, and I did get to go to my parents' for dinner which was pleasant as usual :) There was some spirited conversation, and no that does not mean we argued, lol. Tangled Up In Blue

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm feeling blue, not as in sadness but just vibing with the color blue :) That is because I visited the BLUE SL Event, which is always a pleasure for finding exclusive offers, discounts, and group gifts. Their group is free to join, so the gifts you see here won't cost you a single penny, and the exclusive offer at the end is such a sassy way to treat yourself. I got into the habit of using song titles for my posts from this monthly event since there are so darn many amazing ones with "blue" in the title or lyrics, and I had a little assist from a search engine this time. I'm reaching back a bit before my time (before my musical awareness, I was 4) with a Bob Dylan song, partly a nod to his biopic which I haven't seen yet so I have no idea if it's featured in it or not. Maybe have a listen while you read the post, or while you visit the event :)

My first look is the daring Lilly Sheer Sun Dress Set Pink gift from Allure Couture. The gauzy lace dress is trimmed with fringe on its V shaped skirt, and we receive both the dress and a c-string (crotch covering) in sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Pinup, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. I almost want to wear it as a negligee too!

Now that spring is here, those beach vacations feel even closer at hand, and are always possible in SL. If you've got one planned or just have a pool you can visit/rez out, be sure to 'pack' this stunning ALO! - Kaia Bikini - FATPACK gift :) The top and panty are each provided in Lara X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes, with a HUD that offers 10 choices each for the bikini and ribbon. Our bikini fabric has all sorts of fun patterns, and we can match them to the solid colors of the ribbons for some creative looks. The distinctive image on the front does make me think of a much loved cross-holiday movie, and the shirt has a loose comfy fit and cropped style. I switched back to my Lara 5.3 here from Lara X, and kept it on for the rest of the post. Another switch I made here was adding some beautiful nails, which are our Nails Passion - Elisabeth gift. The pearly base has a lavender tint, contrasting wonderfully against the black French edges and pretty floral designs.

How precious is this piggy, all dolled up and sipping her tea? Our [LS] CROPED CUTE gift is a sweet turtleneck sweater that is shortened to show off a bit of midriff, just a delightful treat to wear with your favorite pants, jeans, shorts, or skirts. I'm wearing the blue pair of Delizio jeans with all my tops in this post, partly because blue and partly because they match just about everything and are my easy go-to.

It was a nice day out today, and I did get my free DQ cone with a dollar dip for charity. My choices were chocolate, butterscotch, and maybe strawberry? Shrug, I am a chocoholic so that was my pick, and it was a good excuse to treat myself and get out of the house for a bit. I'm still not sure if I am going to dinner tomorrow at my parents', but I have a backup food plan so it's all good. I've got no idea what I am blogging tomorrow yet, LOL, so chaos is happening here. Gifts from Beyond

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I wanted to share some group gifts from Beyond, which is the partner store of Scandalize and they share their group gift area. There is currently an $89L fee to join the Beyond group, but with about 40 gifts waiting, that's barely more than 2 bucks a gift :) I've shared some of the Scandalize gifts from this new area too and will do again soon, but as a reminder we go up to the front desk of Scandalize and click the text sign that says "100+ Gifts teleport" or something to that effect. This will whisk you to a treasure trove of goodies for both groups, and all of the ones I'm sharing tonight are in the room to the east of where you'll land from the teleporter.

My first look is the flirty .:Beyond:. Leyre - Bubblegum gift, although to be fair I could describe most of this brand's style as flirty ;) The strapless dress has a deep neckline and high cut sides on the skirt, tied with long loose bows. We receive the dress and thong each in Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes, along with an opacity HUD and a color HUD with 20 choices each for the thong and straps. Now the opacity HUD is for the dress itself and has opacity levels in increments of 5, so 5%, 10%, 15%, all the way to 100% so entirely see-through. We also have an 'off' button to return to fully solid. I went a little sheer on the right above to show you an example, and you can see the thong through the skirt now.

This sweet gift is our .:Beyond:. Sophia - White skirt set. The top and skirt are each provided in sizing for Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. There is also an opacity HUD that has numbers for each piece, 5-100% in increments of 5. I'm wearing both parts opaque on the left, and I gave them each some sheerness on the right in slightly different levels so the top is a bit more see-through than the skirt. The single tie on the skirt hem is a fun touch, and the top reminds me of a corset with its boning.

Wowie, the .:Beyond:. Juna - Red is a steamy hot little number! Our dress, bra, and chains are all included in Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes, with an opacity HUD for the sleeves (similar to the others so far) and another HUD for the chains with 25 colors. However, the chains HUD errored out on me when I added it, and I even unpacked a new copy with the same results. That could be SL and not the HUD itself though, since it took me 7 tries and one reboot to even login...regardless I think the chains look amazing right out of the box, even if I was unable to tint them :) The dress and bra each come in their original versions as seen on the left, and a lace patterned version like the dress to the right so you can see that is particularly sheer lace. I wonder if the thong from the first gift I showed you tonight would fit beneath if you wanted a bit of coverage down below.

.:Beyond:. Anhya - Black is a gift that will remind you that black is not necessarily basic. The pretty draped halter top and daring skirt will each fit Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, and how fun is that strap on the skirt that winds around the right thigh like a garter? We also have an opacity HUD for this beauty, with the ability to adjust our top and skirt separately in what I'd say is their traditional increments. 

My final look this evening is the versatile .:Beyond:. Yinna - Green outfit. It consists of the top and skirt each in solid and patterned versions, all of which are provided in Legacy, Bombshell, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes. There is also an opacity HUD which adjusts each piece individually, and a HUD for the straps that has 25 colors each for straps 1 and 2 (trim, skirt, ties in the middle of the bodice) each solid or patterned. I'm going to suggest to just click one of the buttons and see what changes color, then take it from there :) We know I enjoy animalistic prints like this, but I'm also a fan of mixing things up and having a solid to balance things out. Whatever floats your boat, whatever combo makes you happy is the right one for you of course :)

It really feels like spring is here, and it was actually warm (73.5) in this room for the first time in ages. It should be nice weather for my outing tomorrow too, as I'm planning to go before the rain arrives in the early evening. SL Frees and Offers

 Hiya everyone! Tonight felt like a good time to explore some SLFO group designers' stores and see what treats I could find for the group. It is free to join, and the acronym is short for SL Frees & Offers which does sum up what you'll find in the group notices :) The chat is quite helpful too, which I always appreciate because it can provide quick tips on midnight mania boards that need clicking real fast, or someone may share a landmark to a store with a temporary sale or free group join for example. There's always something happening in SL, so groups like this can be a great way to stay informed. Of course the gifts are a fantastic reason to be in the group too, as you're about to see...

My first look comes from zOOm and is their beautiful Floralis Summer Dress. It has flirty openings that are laced up loosely, and a deep V neckline so we get to show off cleavage as well. There are green, purple, and yellow versions included, each in sizes for Freya, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. I know it says summer, but spring is almost here and I think it works perfectly for this time of year too :)

I also went to Nut & Squirrel (formerly Telsiope's Couture) and was delighted to find this lovely Atena dress as their current SLFO group gift. The strapless style goes really well with the daring diagonal hemline, accentuated by a large bow on the left side of the waist. We receive Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra (Bimbo, Low, Original), Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Juicy Boobs mesh body sizes, along with a HUD that lets us pick from 10 colors each for the body and bow. Just click the arrow on the lower left to switch between the body tab and the bow tab :) 

Next I slipped into the charming [Good Fairy] Hwa Young {Dress} *FATPACK* gift. I love the way the straps are crossed at the neck to loop around, and the front of the dress has a fun wrap styling. There are classic M and fitmesh M sizes for classic avatars, and sizing for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Reborn, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh bodies. You can probably tell that it also includes a HUD, and that offers 28 color combos on 4 different tabs, plus the ability to tint the outfit with a color wheel. Lots of versatility to appreciate here, and I am grateful as always.

V8 Underground is always very generous with this type of group, so it's no surprise that I found this **DANIELE LUX SEA COMPLET OUTFIT** waiting for us there :) The strapless dress, jacket, boots, and string (panties) are all provided in Erika, Bubble, Kupra, Legacy, Nerido, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Juicy mesh body sizes. The shiny fabric is fantastic, and aqua is simply a gorgeous color too so the outfit is a real showstopper.

My final look of the evening is our HORL - Hadassa Dress gift for SLFO. It has a wonderful layered look with suspenders, choker, and sheer layer atop the black layer of the short skirt, adding up to a playful and intriguing style. We receive Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya sizing in this thoughtful gift.

It was a decent day here, with nice weather for once, so I went to the local park briefly and got to see lots of cute dogs which is always a mood booster :) No plans for tomorrow, but Thursday we are probably going to Dairy Queen for free cones for the first day of spring. You can get them dipped for a dollar which goes to charity (Children's Miracle Network), so we've also discussed doing that for the charity factor. Not sure if all locations are doing that dipping/donation thing, so please check beforehand if you are interested. Doves Dream Dazzles

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some more wonderful gifts from the Doves Dream event to share, all of which are free with the Palomma Plaza group tag. That group is free to join, and is also very worthwhile because of the gifts at Palomma Plaza itself too :) As I've mentioned, both are a tribute to Palomma Casanova also known as Dove, who owned The Free Dove and sadly passed away a little over 2 years ago. She was a kind and generous soul who is deeply missed, and I find it comforting to see her legacy carried on through the Plaza and this event which began on her RL birthday of March 11th. The event has a lovely ethereal quality, decorated so stunningly as you will see.

For my first look this evening, I am enjoying the !CGF-*STELA* Shorts Outfit gift from Composer Girls Fashion. I'm such a huge fan of this brand for their style and the fact that most of their clothing includes footwear and accessories. This look has the top, shorts, and floral sleeves that each fit Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, with coordinating heels in Belleza, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya sizing. The earrings and necklace are included as well, unrigged so they are adjustable. I really like the way the shorts are laced loosely on each side, so we can show off even more skin :)

This remarkable look is our fuaya Roman gingham(LaraX) gift. It is a traditional kimono style dress with long extended sleeves and an obi (belt) attached, in the single size mentioned in its name. The fabric patterns go surprisingly well together, as I am usually not one to mix different prints but the colors make these a natural combination.

Suna Designs is offering us their S-Marjorie black dress and gloves as a generous gift for this event. They are separate pieces in sizing for Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, and Reborn mesh bodies. Each are black with golden sparkles as an animated texture, and there are gold chains holding the front slits together on the skirt. You may need to alpha out your hands to get the gloves to look right, or you can always wear the dress alone without the gloves if you prefer.

One of my favorite colors is pink, so the Yasum*Princess Dress*We love you PALOMA !! gift made me smile :) I definitely do feel like flirty royalty in this set, which consists of the dress, stole, panties, and necklace each in Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes. The necklace has a resize script inside, so you can click it to adjust if you need to. It goes so well with the gold trim, and the back view is as intriguing as the front. 

For my final look of the night, I slipped into the Nala Design - Tina Outfit 5 gift. If golden yellow is your favorite, this should definitely be a part of your wardrobe! Its top, skirt, tie, and both garters are all provided in sizes for Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The cropped top says "THE BEST" across it, and the suspenders you see are attached to the skirt. Personally I think the plaid gives it that special touch of grown up naughty schoolgirl, lol, along with the tie which can be a part of school uniforms in some areas. 

It was a long day with very interrupted sleep, so I am a bit groggy (yay for brain fog!) but otherwise hanging in. FabFree St Patty's Day

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is packed with prizes from the FabFree St. Patty's Day Hunt, which are $0L - $5L and hiding in neon rainbows. Just think, you're finding something even better than a pot of gold by following these rainbows ;) The website will guide you with landmarks, hints, and preview images, plus the prices to help you budget for your explorations. I definitely have a fondness for both the FabFree group and their blog, going way back to my early days in SL. You don't need to be a group member to join in the fun, but if you have a spare group slot I would certainly recommend it as there are tons of gifts as well as all the helpful group notices and group chat which always has tips that are new to me. Our hunt started on the 10th and runs until the end of March.

My first look of the evening is one of the three $5L prizes you can find at The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. It's called LEPRECHAUN SIZE Tee and it made me giggle, because I'm 5'4" but somehow the shortest in my family and in various friends' groups. So I am referred to as short, but this time of year I guess I'm really just leprechaun sized ;) That image on the front reads "I'm not short I'm leprechaun size" in case you can't quite make it out. I love how the jaunty hat is sitting on the E in size, next to a few clovers for good measure.

Do you need a little good fortune? Maybe The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. LUCK Tee can help :) The U in luck is a horseshoe, open end up to hold in the luck. There's also a belief that open end facing down means the luck spills out over the house or wherever it's hanging, but this way we get the letter U so it works out. The sweetheart neckline and full skirt give this retro beauty its chic style, while the sections of clover patterned material tell us what season it is :) The gold touches like the bow and buttons make me think of the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. While most of our prizes are $5L, this gorgeous Ruxy-Glinn gown is absolutely free! So detailed and versatile too, thanks to a HUD offering 12 colors each for the dress and corset, plus 12 gem colors for 3 different gems. It is designed to fit Maitreya Lara and Lara Domina bodies. I feel quite regal in this lush skirt, so I chose purples for fun :) 

My final look of the evening is a sweet treat from Blink2Wink, their St Patty Dress 2 prize. It's actually one of 5 you'll find there - 2 dresses at $5L each, 2 pairs of socks to match the dresses at $3L apiece, and a free set of garters to match the socks :) The gold dots on this dress are such a playful addition, don't you think? It fits Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies, so I changed into my Lara X from my Lara 5.3 to accommodate these curves.

I am having a rough evening, struggling with some stuff brought up in therapy earlier and having received some shocking and terrifying advice based on a temporary situation. I stared at the screen without even saying a word for a few minutes, then burst into tears and had to excuse myself for a moment. Silly me, I didn't have tissues with me for this session as usual, and it's only the third time I'd needed them. Now I just feel upset and sick to my stomach from stress.
