Hiya everyone! Tonight it's a pleasure to start the weekend with some gifts from Hilly Haalan, a store so generous they have a separate building for their goodies :) Most are for their free store group, with the back wall featuring some for various multi-designer type groups, so it is well worth looking all around. These are years worth of treats, going back to standard mesh sizes that are easiest to wear on the classic avatar, with more recent ones close to the doorway that are for newer mesh bodies. It's a great variety, with a few different holidays represented as well as year-round wear, and I am always appreciative whenever I stop by.
My first look of the evening is our [hh] GROUP GIFT Debbie Dress, which even comes with a fun handbag to complete the style. The dress is one piece with the appearance of a blouse tucked into a skirt, in a classic M size as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizing. The handbag has a bento pose and a resize script built in, so just give it a click if you want to make it bigger or smaller. Personally I think it's a nice size as is, but could see going a bit smaller if I want to travel light :)
It is chilly here again in RL so the [hh] GROUP GIFT Kaia Dress absolutely caught my eye too. This is also a single piece with a layered look, designed for Gen X Classic/Dainty, Gen X Curvy/Dainty, Legacy, Perky, Perky Petite, Pinup Bombshell, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu bodies. There's a HUD included as well, with 20 textures each for the dress, sweater, sleeves, and dress liner. I really like the idea of combining a low cut dress with a knit top beneath, and versatility is always a plus.
Next I changed into the lovely [hh] Group Gift Women's Day Outfit, a chic suit with beautiful lace blazer. The jacket comes in classic M along with sizing for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, while our pants have a classic M size as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizes. Matching heels are provided in Belleza, Legacy, Maitreya, and Slink high sizes, and the handbag for our left hand has a subtle holding pose when you wear it. The mix of pale shades of white and beige are very elegant, don't you think?
I kept the pants on from the prior gift to help me show you the next goodie, our [hh] GROUP GIFT Bella Sweater. A nice cropped sweater like this can be worn with so many bottoms from jeans to skirts and more, so you can pick your favorite item from your wardrobe staples and see what speaks to you for pairing with this beauty. Some are knit striped, with a few patterns like the animal print I chose in blue, and they are all excellent choices.
For my final look, I chose the most recent gift [hh] GIFT Idylla Dress which appears to have been intended for Valentine's Day. If you have been here before, there's a chance you may already know my thoughts on that...we need more love in this world, and hearts are ideal for any day of the year ♥. If the name of the holiday was printed on it, or Cupid made an appearance on the print, then yes I would feel differently ;) So there are pink and red versions included, both of which you can see above, all in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Juicy Boobs mesh body sizing. There is even a BOM panty included that is tintable, and I must say it is a gorgeous lacy pair that I will probably be wearing with many of my other favorite dresses too :) Tint a pair for every one of your go-to skirts or dresses!
Are we ready for the weekend? It was a heck of a day here, so I am tempted to spend the next 24+ hours hiding in bed. The housemate has gout and has been trying to ignore a flareup, which naturally continued to worsen as a result. Now the pain is causing screaming with every movement, both in general and directly at me for, I dunno, existing. While I am sympathetic, it is possible to exceed the limits of my medication compassion with that much rudeness and poor planning. I'm sure I have been rolling my eyes at them more than usual, and my anxiety and depression are having a field day. My hockey team traded one of my favorite players, a good player who is also a genuinely nice person (charity minded, supports LGBT+, beloved by teammates) so that isn't helping my mood all that much. Another more famous player got traded from another team and caused a much bigger stir today, so you can probably tell the trade deadline before the playoffs happened ;) It causes chaos every season. Otherwise I am listening to 80s music and pondering the next few days. I hope you all have a fantastic weekend ahead, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!
