Hiya everyone! Tonight's post brings some St. Patrick's Day fun to your second life, thanks to the Shamrocks & Shenanigans Hunt from Cheeky Monkey Hunts. We are looking for shamrocks (4-leaf clovers) in participating stores, which either hold $1L hunt prizes or $25L - $50L exclusives designed just for this hunt :) It's up to the designers to decide which of those and how many to offer, so I do as always recommend having a peek at the hunt's website for those details. That's where we find the landmarks, hints, and preview images, as well as the prices so you can budget accordingly. The hunt runs until the end of March, and you can expect to find lots of green among these treats :)
For my first look of the evening, we visit Simple Terms to claim their amazing ST - Shannon outfit which is a $25L exclusive offer. We start with the dress, panties, and shoes, which all fit Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, and Petite X mesh bodies. Then we get to add the left and right bracelet sets, and even a stunning umbrella which we can touch to play "Singing in the Rain" by Bing Crosby :) That's right, it is musical! The tag on the umbrella reads "Kiss Me, I'm Magically Delicious" which certainly caught my eye and gave me a giggle.
Sometimes good things come in twos, as is the case at GoodVibes since they have not just one but two exclusive $25L prizes for us :) Their Cheeky Olive Seamair Set is the one on the left above, and Cheeky Blue Seamair Set is looking equally lovely on the right. Each of these includes the top, skirt, and boots in sizing for Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh bodies, plus BOM layer socks and white lace panty for modesty. For now, I'm going to be bringing you a bit of music history/trivia while fangirling about this tee. As with all of their shirts, we receive an unpacking HUD with standard mesh sizes as well as eBody Classic, eBody Reborn, Waifu, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body buttons to choose from. Just deliver what you need and hang onto the HUD for future use :) The music trivia is that the hip hop artists House of Pain (you probably know their Jump Around song) also had a song named Shamrocks & Shenanigans in the 90s, so this hunt is bringing back memories of someone in my life who was obsessed with them and then Everlast's solo career. Loving the image used here on our comfy tank top, as I am a fan of gold and teal together for sure.
Do your shenanigans need a bit of organizing? Then you need the CloudNine Shenanigans Womens T-shirt, a great $1L prize, to sport your new "Shenanigans Coordinator" title! The "i" is dotted with a shamrock of course, and I'm wondering which slider in my shape's settings I need to adjust to help my cleavage not eat letters from my t-shirts (coornator?) for future reference. For a little extra pizzazz, the shamrock headband I'm wearing here is also tucked into the prize, and it is unrigged for ease of adjustment. I really look like I'm plotting something in this photo...jump up, jump up and get down!
For my final look of the night, I chose a very stylish dress that is an impressive bargain at just $1L for finding this shamrock. The Psyche's Pstyles Spring Broderie Dress Clover Edition comes in Freya, Isis, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes, with a delicate clover pattern and puffed short sleeves. The solid colored collar matches the belt perfectly, and how cute is that bow? I do love a handkerchief hem too, as it gives a touch of whimsy to any look.
My day did not go as I'd planned, thanks to a groggy mistake I made that led to me eating the wrong food which was something that did not agree with me. I wasn't feeling well enough to go out like I'd had intended, so now I am just trying to recover enough to go to dinner tomorrow at my parents'. My body is way too picky about foods, and it's not an allergy or anything. Otherwise I watched a very irritating hockey game (yes, that means my team lost) and am pondering blog plans for the next several days.
